A favorite place to eat in the winter: it's only 10 minutes from our house! And they have a pool table to use while you're waiting for your food. Nice menu in the winter, including pub favorites like burgers, wraps, wings, fries. Even fresh caesar salad! My piece of fried fish was delicious and as big as my head!

In preparation for a wedding that will be shot on the 13th of July we went to scout our location and found that the staff were so very helpful specifically Dave who not only gave us a tour but took us out on carts and was patient as we took shots of each location that we wanted to put the bridal party at he gave us information about the course and shared and some of his own personal preferences it was a lovely experience and Dave seems like a vital component to the service experience.

This course has three sets of 9 holes. The course is really challenging and in great condition. Very nice club house and patio with great food. We had a coupon to play with a power cart but otherwise this is a bit more expensive than some other local courses. This is a challenging course but it well maintained. The greens are in good shape and there are some really tough breaks so your putting needs to be spot on. It is worth the price to play a few times a year and it is only a 25 minute drive for me. Hope to play again this year.

We booked Flamborough Hills for my Bridal Shower! Their room overlooking the golf course was absolutely beautiful! We worked with Lisa Dejonge and she did everything to answer all of our questions, she worked within our timeframe and made sure that we were well looked after during our time there. This space made for such a memorable bridal brunch! Their food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.

Played here on 10/25/2020 and 10/28/2020 Held up by a frost delay on the Sunday morning. Was told the only way to check would be by calling. Would be nice if you were to post a notification on the website/social media. Course was in great condition and had a great time playing both days. We had a power cart for both days. The built in GPS can be a little frustrating at times since it’s not always clear where to go then speed is limited in clearly rough areas. Hole mapping was a great feature and definitely helped with club selection. Bluetooth audio/charging ports in the carts was a nice bonus. Always enjoy playing this course.

My husband and I got married here on October 13th. It was a perfect day. The planning was made super easy thanks to Leigh, Lisa, and the wonderful vendors they connected us with. I had very little stress on the day of because they took care of everything! I can honestly say our wedding was beyond my expectations. The food was all perfect. It felt great to walk around and see empty plates. Lisa, the owner, spent all day at our wedding and made a point to check in with us. We had countless people tell us that our wedding was the best they've ever been to and I'd have to agree! If I had to plan our wedding again, I would choose Flamborough Hills all over again. If you are still unsure, see the venue in person and you will be sold!

Chef Nate's culinary talents dazzled our family and friends and every detail was perfect. From the decor to the warmth of the clubhouse - the all encompassing package made planning a wedding a breeze. We are very grateful to the amazing staff for making our big day an unforgettable one.

Great course. 3 sets of 9 holes. Not cheap as a round with cart was going for about $80 but $20 less if you were willing to walk. Course was in great condition including fairways and greens. Even the bunkers were in good shape. Pace of play was good considering how many people were eager to get back to playing. Would definitely play again.

Our wedding took place at Flamborough. The staff is excellent. The venue is perfect. With the bar, lounge, dance floor, outside fire pit, and the gorgeous lobby there were plenty of areas for guests to meet, talk, dance, and have an amazing time. No one felt left out with how they enjoy the festivities of a wedding. I cannot emphasize how perfect the layout is for a gathering of size and mashing of different party types. The staff are wonderful, polite, friendly and personable. The food is to die for. Best food we’ve ever had at a wedding and we got compliments all night. The food tasting was the hardest decision only because everything was so delicious! The golfers that go to this club are so kind. While out on the course taking photos we were constantly complimented, given clearance at specific greens and allowed to pass in our carts. Again, wonderful people all around. Leigh our coordinator was so hands on, friendly and available to us. She made so many personal touches to options and her emails were always a delight. Lisa was with us during all the hard parts of the day. Taking us in the golf carts to picturesque views for photos, taking care of all the planning, helping us with the rehearsal dinner. It was all so perfect. It’s cliche and has been said often, but this venue was truly perfect for us. We had just under 140 guests and the layout made it wonderful for us to cater to everyone’s personality. They took care of the decorations, and so much more. If this could be 6 out of 5 stars, I would make it so. Again, at least visit this venue if you’re entertaining the idea of having a wedding here. You won’t regret it and it will set the bar high for anything you’ll look at after. Flamborough Hills is a perfect wedding venue.

Updated. Flamborough has recognized the issue and changed their policy and made access to tee times available to all Men's League participants equally. Well done Flamborough! Highly disappointed with Flamborough Hills. I joined their men's league this season only to find that members get preferential access to tee times. So I have not been able to book a tee time before 5.00 pm. in the last month. They took my league entrance fee and then deny me the same privileges as everyone else. I think it is a deliberate rip off.

Nigel Bowerman helped my game immensely in a single lesson and I still have two more to go. Removed my slice completely out of my drive with very simple and easy to follow tips. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve!

We just had our wedding at Flamborough on July 14th, 2018. It was beautiful and perfect. The grounds are absolutely beautiful for photos, which was one of the big reasons why we picked Flamborough. The food was amazing and we had so many compliments on the way everything turned out. I'd recommend to any bride and groom, to go and check it out. They offer a lot for you in their packages compared to others and go above any d beyond. Their grounds are beautiful for ceremonies and photos. The staff are wonderful. The coordinator, DJ, florist, planner that is included in the package we chose were absolutely amazing. I couldn't rave anymore on how wonderful and perfect our day went thanks to Flamborough!

Flamborough Hills has always been a solid golf course. The three 9’s are all different and pose unique challenges. The course is always in great shape too. Their restaurant is outstanding. Very unique menu! I wish the indoors was open for dining, as it got a little chilly sitting on the patio. Still no ball washers, rakes or benches on the course. Seems like other courses have gone back to having these available.

Course is in pretty decent shape. We played this past Saturday and finished in 4 hours. Had an issue with our cart though. Needed a kidney belt to keep riding it. Very jarring. Tried to swap it at the turn, but they had run out of carts. Lot of money for a cart that doesn't work.

UPDATE: they got a hold of us and offered free round of golf to make this right! We had a great time and it's a very nice place. Thank you for doing what's right and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else again ORIGINAL: I'm writing this 1 star review on another golf course because some guy who is upset with his life kicked myself and gf off the course because we weren't wearing collared shirts. We just paid $150 for golf and new golf balls but decided he didn't like our clothes. We were refunded our money. While we were driving to another course that accepted the dirty smelly clothes, we looked at this courses website and there's nothing there that says anything about clothes. I'm not telling you not to golf here but be careful because if this guy isn't happy with himself he will take it out on you!

Though the golf portion is shut down for another few weeks, Flamborough's kitchen is still open for Drive-Thru pick up. Today was Taco Tuesday and so a friend and I decided to try their drive thru menu. We brought our tacos home to eat and OMG, we seriously inhaled them they were that delicious. The California Kid was absolutely stuffed with fish, house pico de gallo and avocado, then it was onto the Southwest Chicken - the 16 spice chicken was delicious. My friend had the Carne Asada - the beef was shaved thin and went down easily, but she said the Southwest Chicken beat it out for taste. Tacos were well worth the drive out to Flamborough! But sooo looking to golfing and enjoying some of these foods on the patio very soon!

The course is in excellent shape for taking such a busy schedule this year due to the pandemic. The staff is fantastic, from the Pro Shop all the way through to the player assistance. But, where this really makes the difference is the food service at Flamborough Hills. The shaft is outstanding, and their menu, is simple and amazing. A wide variety of choices and specials. They have definitely raise the bar in this area for golf courses and food and service.

Just in the door from playing 18. Very impressed with the condition of the course compared to others, considering the lack of rain recently. Greens were beautiful, fairways were still very green, and tee boxes were in good shape. Place was busy but kept moving nicely, four of us got around in four hours in carts, no too shabby for a Saturday afternoon. Many thanks to all the staff for their hard work in making this place tick. "I'll be back"

Had our wedding here early October of about 150 guests and it proved to be the perfect venue just as we imagined!! We had our ceremony on site, as well. They removed all the markers as promised, and it was an absolutely beautiful back drop! The clubhouse is also beautiful and very well maintained. Anna did an amazing job with the decor, just as we had asked The set up works great for a wedding, and with all the open windows the sunset during dinner was perfect. The food, was just as the tasting!! You hear horror stories about portions being smaller, quality is sacrificed but it was just as we had and were promised. We now find them as one of our spots for lunches/dinners! Lastly, we were blessed with have been working with Leigh. Leigh laid it all out there from the very beginning and made EVERYTHING clear as day. She helped coordinate and stick handle so much, it made it so easy we found ourselves thinking "we're missing something because we should be stressed out" but it was simply because Leigh had everything coordinated and to the tee. She reached out to us when needed, and was always there to attend our calls/emails almost immediately. Went over what was expected of us the day of so everything was flawless and effortless. On the day, we had a few last minute issues (thanks to mother nature) with our alter outside setup being toppled over and broke and couple small hiccups and she stick handled it with alternatives. We wouldn't even have noticed. She problem solved before we even showed up. Knows when to deal with MOH/BM where necessary. We really couldn't (and wouldn't) want to deal with anyone else. Leigh was such an important ASSET, and most valuable tool that we (did not realize) we were getting. Sorry for the long winded review. I'd need to write a book with chapters for each criteria for how great this venue was for our wedding. We got so many compliments after about the venue and food which all we could really answer was with "right??". We saw some previews of the photos and they're just amazing. Highly recommend this as a Wedding Venue! Would have 10 stars if allowed!

This course was amazing! We played the Lakes and the Hills and both were incredible. Course is very well maintained, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Carts are in great shape. Overall, an incredible course and experience. Will definitely be returning, worth the hour drive from Toronto.

The food is spectacular and the service has always been top notch. We have brought many family members and friends to join is as the prices are very good.

Course was in great shape considering covid and the extreme heat wave . Was a little disappointed with the pro shop , i originally booked and 2 some on golf now and when I tried to add a third, , they said they were booked up and couldn't accommodate us . We ended up just showing as a twosome and went off just us , the course was very sparce for traffic so I didn't understand why it felt so tight when booking. Either way it was a good experience but they lost out a green fee.

I can't say enough about Flamborough Hills. I met Lisa on a whim when me and my fiancé came in and I stopped looking elsewhere immediately. The pricing is comparable to some of the other places around but they do so much more for you. Leigh helped me coordinate my day and Anna helped me with design for the day, they both make things very easy and fun and help you with your vision so much! The FOOD was amazing! Everyone loved the food and people messaged me the next day raving about the service and food! It really made me feel like I just want to relive it all over and over again. From start to finish, me and my husband and our huge 20 person wedding party think this was the best venue and best wedding so far! You won't be disappointed. They really care about their customers and end up developing a relationships with the people involved. They all make things just as you need! Wouldn't change a thing! Thank you Leigh, Anna and Lisa and all staff at Flamborough hills! Everything was so beautiful!

This course is not worth the money. We just played lakes and hills today. We payed $180 for 2 people with cart and the fairways feel like you are hitting off the cart path or hard dirt. We understand the dry spell but we have played other courses in the area that are in much better condition and MUCH cheaper. Some of these courses include Carlisle Golf Club, Lowville Golf Club, Century Pines. All of these are in much better shape than this course for late August 2020.

Planning a wedding can be unimaginably stressful with so many uncertainties and questions. The team at Flamborough did an incredible job with helping us clam down, stay on schedule and have the time of our lives! When people talk about our wedding, the first thing they bring up is how incredible the food was. Everything was absolutely delicious. And, the decor was incredible. It was far more spectacular than we could have imagined. There were a few things, in the last minute rush of things, that I forgot but when we arrived the day of the wedding, everything was perfectly taken care of. Fantastic course that I’ve been meaning to play for a very long time. We were paired with a member named George who was super friendly and great to play with. Course was in fanatic shape, great fairways, greens that rolled true, but fair. Even with all the dry and extreme heat we’ve been having, the fairways weren’t burnt and dried out. I’ve been wanting to get a membership somewhere local, and I’m now seriously considering getting a membership here for the 2021 season. Fantastic course and I will be back this season for sure !

Unfriendly to company tournaments. Would not let me play unless I bought a collared t-shirt from them. Understandable when golfing with a couple of buddies or wearing an Iron Maiden concert t-shirt. Not so much when part of a large corporate group in a plain microfiber shirt.

The course is nice and well maintained. The new golf carts are really nice. The fact they cut out when you get near the green (and not even very close) is a bit annoying, but you learn to work with it and the rest of the gold cart features more than make up for that. Nigel in the pro shop is always very helpful.

Good track, Lakes and woods are my two preferred nines. Not an exciting layout but has some interesting holes. Paid around 65$ last time for 18 and a cart which is a little pricey for the value but overall always enjoy playing, not too difficult.

Perfect wedding venue. Leigh and Lisa made the wedding as stress free as possible. The venue is beautiful, the grounds are great for a first look and pictures, the bar is well stocked with excellent service and allows for draft beer at your wedding. My guests were impressed with the service throughout the night. Meals were brought out and cleaned up quickly. All of the allergies and meal preferences were taken into account. We had the prime rib and stuffed chicken as options, both were absolutely perfect. I was told to not get your hopes up after the tasting because the food is never as good at the wedding, but Flamborough Hills is an exception to that. Also, have dinner here after the wedding rehearsal. We had the chicken and rib buffet, so good. My wife and I had looked at several venues prior to Flamborough, but the decision was easy as soon as we met with Leigh, the catering and sales manager. We loved the large patio with a beautiful view, the windows in the reception area with a view of the gardens and grounds outside, access to golf carts for wedding party pictures (with co-owner Tom as our guide), and everything else. The vendors provided by Flamborough (our DJ Tom and florist Kate) were great to work with, and we couldn't have chosen better. Leigh, Lisa, and Tom, thank you for a beautiful wedding.

We just got finished and had a great time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I gave a 1 star because 0 star was not available. After spending $150 for 2 people including box of balls and tees, we were told very rudely by a male staff that there was a dress code and we couldn't golf in what we were wearing. I had on a dressy tank with wide straps, and my boyfriend was wearing a nice Tommy t-shirt and black dress shorts. While he was telling us, a group walked by in t-shirts and laughed saying that they just played in t-shirts. They would not make an exception. I do not see dress code in effect on the website. We felt as though he was treating us like we were dressed in rags and not good enough to be there. Headed now to another course that is accepting us.

I played the woods and the lakes. I walked it in just under 4 hours. The course was very busy but I was glad to play that fast. I walked the course which was nice. It’s a hilly course but walkable. I preferred the woods nine over the the lakes. I loved the par 3 second hole woods over the water. I also really enjoyed the short par 4 third hole woods. Luckily I was playing with a member who guided me where to drive the ball. I have already booked to play the hills next week.

The 4 stars are due to the amazing cart girl, Elise!! She found my husband's phone on hole 4 and drove around for ages, until she found the phone owner!!! So appreciated! The course itself was maintained and all staff very friendly. Holes too close together for our liking, but that is just a personal preference.

My husband and I were married June 9, 2018 at the Flamborough Golf and Country Club. My, then, fiancé and I toured quite a few locations waiting for that feeling that said “THIS IS IT!”, and from the moment we turned into the driveway of Flamborough it hit us, with such a beautiful entrance way welcoming us, to the greeting we received when we walked into the doors. The beautiful event space, and the stunning backdrop of the golf course for our cocktail hour and wedding photos was perfect! The customer service we received was truly outstanding, we really felt the ease of the planning process as it was laid out for us in the most simplest of ways. We booked the inclusive package, which came with beautiful décor, amazing DJ, an extremely talented florist and all the food and beverages. Each vendor was outstanding to work with and executed every detail PERFECTLY. Our guests are still raving about the food and how beautiful the venue was! In saying this, we really need to say thank Leigh and Lisa, who made my husband and I feel so welcomed and important every step of the way, even including our 2yr old daughter. Leigh even made sure our wedding party had h'ordeuvres delivered to us on the golf course while we were taking photos! Any bride will tell you, you barely have 2 minutes to sneak a snack, so that special touch was highly appreciated. We highly recommend this location to any future wedding planners and we once again need to thank the entire team, including the vendors for creating a flawless wedding day for our little family! This is the fourth year in a row we have held our Holiday Party for 150-200 people and it never disappoints! Leigh (event manager) goes above and beyond every year and it is safe to say the event will go off without a hitch! The venue staff is well organized and professional and will help accommodate any requests. The food presentation is nothing short of fine dining quality and is always served in a timely manner. The servers are efficient in clearing the tables- always providing service with a smile! The venue provides a beautiful setting for a holiday party or any special occasion. You will find a great venue, great people, and great service at Flamborough Hills for any special event and I would recommend to anyone!

We hosted a client event here on April 30/18. Leigh and her team made sure everything ran smoothly. Brian and Nigel did an amazing job with the golf clinic covering all key elements needed to improve our game. The BBQ lunch was fantastic. Following lunch we took our group out for 9 holes of golf. Considering the poor recent weather, the course was in terrific condition. Thanks again to Flamborough Hills for a great day!

What I like about this course is that they always have the course in great shape. We have our annual golf tournament here and it always looks well kept. The greens crew have their stuff together. Clubhouse staff were friendly and it’s always nice to having a chilled drink on the patio. I like the drive out to the course on the country roads.

Very well kept golf course and is reasonably priced. 3 different 9 holes gives players variety each time they book a round. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend anyone relatively experienced to try this course.

Tough course with some long par 4 holes. Elevated tees and greens that putt true but can have some tricky pin placements on some holes.
