I have enjoyed golfing here for the past 5 years as the final leg of a Niagara Golf Trip with my golf buddies. Today I experienced something new, an un-welcoming Course Marshall named Sylvain. He was "nit-picking" at us when we fell two minutes behind the course "pace of play" - of course his speech lasted 2 minutes so he put us 4 minutes behind. He also got into our golf cart while we were on the green to inexplicably move it 2 inches over so that all 4 tires could be on the pavement (and block cart traffic flow). The green fee is 83 dollars with cart and you would think that there would be a more welcoming attitude displayed from the Course Marshall. The experience today has made my foursome look for a new course in the Oakville/Burlington area to end our Niagara golf trip next season.

Went for lunch and the clubhouse was great. The new patio is beautiful and spacious overlooking the greens. Staff was kind and accommodating for vegan and gluten free dining. Well priced and plenty of space to keep your distance.

Just got back from a round here after an absence of a couple years since I last played Copetown. The service and clubhouse is top notch. I can't say as much for the condition of the course though. From what I remember about the course it has declined quite a bit, so much I would compare it to what happens to a course when Golf North takes over. Maybe the weather hasn't treated them well this year? Right now there are so many courses out there offering a better golfing experience with comparable or even hugely discounted fees that I would play first.

Had brunch with the family (4). I had the Farmer's breakfast, mom had the eggs Benedict, sister had the banana bread waffles and dad had the 3 egg omelette. Brunch was delicious! Good food, good service, good set up, and it was topped off with a nice cool morning with a nice breeze. Will definitely return! Also, we have ordered dinner multiple times and ZERO complaints!

I love eating at the 4th Course Bistro (open to the public). Everything here is delicious. This is a place where you can keep it simple with burgers, wings & pizza or get all fancy and dressed up for a fine dining experience. Either way, you're sure to be impressed. You can't beat the view and prices are very reasonable.

I have run two golf tournaments at Copetown Woods Golf Club this year and the service is exceptional!! Special shoutout to Matt Steckly in the proshop, who does an amazing job we are taken care of for for the greens fees, prize holes and overall organization of our events. Also a shoutout to Kelly Egan, Lori Sinuita and their team for taking care of us on the food and beverage side of things. This is a great course, the grass is well maintained. The part i was most impressed about was the staff. They were electric and greeted out group with tremendous manners. They were all happy to be apart of the staff. The manager also was very welcoming and made sure we were all good to go. Great place to host a tournament! Food was excellent and wasnt something they just heat up, will definitely be back. Love it!

February might seem a strange month to review a golf course but it just goes to show how much I miss playing there. I have truly enjoyed everything Copetown Woods Golf Club had to offer last summer and very much look forward to the course opening in early April. A well kept, playable golf course with a reasonable green fee, driving range and an excellent breakfast.

After years of using this driving range to practice, I was told today that the range isn't for the public anymore. It's only for people with tee times. The reason is apparently that the range is getting "too beat up". This course used to be an amazing place to play, but since covid, they have really made some questionable decisions. So if you want to see a mint condition driving range, almost completely unused - this is the place for you. A public course that doesn't need the public's business.

Been golfing here for years, one of my favourite courses in the GTA. Unfortunately today there was NO cart girl on the front 9 and it was 35+ degrees out. They made and excuse that "she was late for work". They have GPS on their carts and we were "9 minutes behind" but there was absolutely NO ONE behind us. The Marshall harassed us 4 times even though we were holding no one back. Absolutely disgusted in their service today, especially with the Marshall. If we were holding groups behind us back, I would 100% agree that we would need to pick up the pace.....its also not like we were 20-30mins behind pace We were not treated well. I will not be spending $100 on a round of golf to be harassed for no reason. Unprofessional service today.

Played Copetown Woods this morning. The course needs upkeeping. Greens were slow with lots of balls marks. Tee boxes have been chewed up and needs to be shaved. Price was good with the early special ($64 taxes in with cart).

This review is for the restaurant not the golf course as we were here to eat, not golf. The course looked great also but for our meal we had excellent service on their outdoor patio. Copetown is an excellent course. The fairways are quite forgiving and made for a fun day of golf. The price is a little steep, but the value is worth it for the quality of the course. The only issue I had was a few of the bunkers weren't well kept and it was like hitting out of clay, other than that, a fantastic course.

Mothers day buffet with a family of 9. Fantastic service. Kelly and her team along with the food staff did a tremendous job. Fresh omelettes, a carving table and an endless choice of cold and hot foods made this a very special day for 3 generations of our family. 5+ rating. We had our annual mini Masters tournament there this year. This course is a favorite with our group. It is always in great shape, the food and clubhouse are great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. A new addition to my "go to" courses. The layout is fabulous and challenging but with fairways wide enough to be a bit forgiving. The maintenance and conditions are exceptional and their clubhouse is very attractive and appealing. The posted slope and rating are understated and don't do the course justice....it plays much tougher.

After paying for a foursome and renting the Escalade golf cart for Father's Day, 2 members of our group were told that only collared shirts were allowed on the course and if we wanted to play we must buy shirts at the pro shop. Needless to say, we weren't very pleased. Perhaps a dress code should be posted on the web site. An already expensive outing ended up very expensive.Nice course, but I will not be back.

Went to the Bistro twice last month. First visit was with group of four for lunch, awesome salad and best freshly made chicken pot pie ever. Decided to return for dinner just before end of season. Overall this is one of my favorite courses to play but its very disappointing to find out they charge $62 for the first opening week of the year (spring rate, walking) when the course is still coming out of hibernation. The course was obviously not in good shape. Greens aerated and full of sand, putting now is a lot of luck, fairways soggy, wasteland pure mud. Copetown had good spring and fall rates last year, i guess they think its time to up the rates even though the condition ain't matching. But why would you care when there busy as they were...never seen so many golfers on opening weekend.

Excellent track, I love playing here. The course is very well taken care of and managed properly. The fairways are true and the (massive and challenging) greens even truer. The waste bunker style is unique in the area and the course affords a really pleasing golf experience. The power running through it is the only retraction, and it's not a major one. Anyone should want to play here.

Disappointing. We came in as a group of 8. The waitress missed my order with the chef and didn't notice until she served everyone else. My plain burger and fries order took another 30 minutes to arrive and when it did it was badly overcooked. She did nothing to try to rectify the mistake.

Copetown Woods is by far my favourite course in the GTA. From the first time i played here, i knew that i would be back time and time again. I was able to host my tournament this year at Copetown Woods, The Big Mike Classic. The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially with the difficult year and the short notice. Matt and Barry are some of the finest people you could meet in the golf industry, and the rest of the staff here is phenomenal. Will be back year after year.

All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Nice variety of food choices. Hope they are open a little longer before they close for the season. They took the covid shut down as an opportunity to upgrade roads,patio etc. What a view. Really an enjoyable outing. Remember.... You don't need to be a golfer, just someone that wants to get out for a visit and meal.

Fun golf course. It doesn't present much of a challenge, however it's always a fun time. GPS carts are a nice addition although the amount of ads is annoying. The course conditions were a step down from last time I played though, greens had a lot of ball marks, got rid of tee markers and put stakes in which is a bit tacky imo, and course maintenance was a little less fine tuned. I've noticed a lot of courses have cut maintenance this year and not just copetown.

Golfed Monday July 2nd 1024am Golf course is in great shape Kid at proshop was awesome. My shoe fell apart on hole 8....i know crazy. Went into to the proshop and the young man working the counter saw my shoe and he jumped into action. It was like an Indy car pit stop. He set me up and billed me in 2 minutes and gave me 25% off.....Bravo!!! And thank you...got a par on 10!!

My daughter took my wife and I for lunch to celebrate our 66 Wedding Anniversay. While it was a Bistro, the food was gourmet and delicious and service excellect. Great cream of parsnips soup and chicken on a bun. My wife's roast beef on bun and my daughters tacos were great. Broccoli salad was delicious. I would certainly go again.

I also wanted to use the driving range for practice because I was golfing the next day and wanted some serious time to practice instead of arriving for my tee time and just knocking a few balls around before I play.Was told it was only for people with tee times after driving from Brantford. Was I upset ? Yes ,because I play at Copetown at least 3 or 4 times a season and was using the driving range for practice at least 2 times a month. I think the abuse on driving range is caused by 1 or 2 time a year golfers not from those who golf on regular basis and those in tournaments who probably don’t ever golf unless it’s a company tournament. Will I golf at Copetown again? Probably but only 1 or twice a year. Management should reconsider this decision . By the way.One of my playing buddies feels the same way

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch on the patio until a golf ball whizzed by and clipped my ear, and landed 12 feet away on the patio. A few centimetres difference and it would have been my eye. Other than our server (and the poor chap who hit the ball), the incident was ignored by staff who did say "it happens". BE FOREWARNED THAT ON THE PATIO, THERE IS A REASONABLE CHANCE YOU WILL BE HIT BY A STRAY BALL. Here is the response from the general manager when I emailed recommending a net near that hole, " ... it does come with an inherent risk as it is on a golf course, which is the reason the views are so spectacular. Unless a full enclosure of netting was in place, there would still be the chance that a golf ball could come in the vicinity of guests. I appreciate your feedback. It is certainly not a common occurrence, but it has happened."

I was a guest at cope town woods golf club for my mother's 90th birthday celebration last month. Driving to location for first time, anticipating our arrival was exciting. Entering facility warm and inviting, country setting appealing. Staff helpful and kind. Food was delicious, service great. I would recommend a family gathering here, big or small they accommodated our needs very well. A beautiful day enjoyed by all. Thank you so much

If I could give zero stars I would. Today my 71 year old dad who has golfed for 50 years, my 13 year old son golfing for the first time and myself golfed Copetown Woods. We spent $300 on green fees and cart rentals, $30 on balls for the range, $75 for a dozen balls, $80 for lunch and $40 for drinks on the course. Marshalls were rude to us on almost every hole and by hole 16 they were almost unbearable. After 18 holes we were 30 minutes behind pace. Not unreasonable for a 71 year old and a 13 year old. My dad felt so disrespected and my son was so embarrassed. As we came off the course I was informed Saturday was no time for a first time golfer, first time golfers should golf in the evening. I guess grassroots golf must be stronger than every state suggests. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. An absolute joke!

Played there today. The Marshall's were pushing us to go quicker. We played ready golf the entire time. We were 16 minutes behind the "play clock". However every hole we looked back to see the group behind us was no where to be seen. Great course, unfortunately the marshall detracted from the experience significantly. I am questioning if I want to go back there.
