You will see the opinions of real people who are purchasing the products and services of Chippewa Creek Golf (Golf) in Brantford territory (Canada).
To this day the firm gets a rating of 3.9 out of 5 and this rating has been based on 107 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is quite high, and it is based on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf belongs to the category of Golf course.
I love this course. Lately the owners have made it that the person booking the round has to pay off of their credit card for the whole thing and are left to chase down the other golfers for payment. NO OTHER COURSE DOES THIS. I booked over 50 rounds here last year because I love playing here. Today one golfer cancelled due to a family emergency and I was forced to pay for their round. This is not right and the owners are pushing away loyal customers with this ridiculous policy. My business and booking will be elsewhere. EVEN THE EMPLOYEES AGREE SADLY
Played yesterday for first time this year. A fair price would have been $45 with cart. I was charged $60 with a cart and there is no senior rate. I can play at Willow Valley which Chippewa can not even begin to compare to for $62 with a cart for seniors. Overall the course was in fairly good condition but several tee blocks were almost bare ground. I will definitely not be returning.
Lovely course but rough is too long Played today. Walked round 3 hours and 50 minutes. Greens and Tee's are in great shape. Plenty of long holes on White and some very interesting short Par 4's on Gold The rough was way too long. There was a lot of moisture on the course which made the rough impossible. No roll at all and really tough to hit from. Several holes had rough in front of the greens rather than an short apron which limited shot selection to air balls All in all it was a great round and will visit again soon
Played a great game of golf at Chippewa course today. Fairways and greens in good condition. Friendly and helpful staff, great value for money. Visitors from England.
For the price, this place is hard to beat. They take great care of the fairways and greens. It's not a championship track, but there is good golf here for almost all skill levels. Par the talons and you're doing something right!
Very poor experience. The course was nice but the staff were very rude and rushed our group off the course before 7:30pm. Second time our group has had issues with staff at this course. We will be taking our group to another course.
One of the best value courses around. For 18 holes with good greens and decent length holes this places is the best.
Very nice golf course. Food was great. Prices very reasonable
Reasonable price for a great course. Greens were in excellent shape and the course provided a variety of holes with an opportunity to score well. They have 3 nines and a full practice facility. Staff was friendly and the food at the turn was great. Highly recommend it!
Disappointed that we played a twilight round and was never informed the cart girl stopped going into the course after 530. We got one round of drinks and she offered to start a tab at 5ish, then took my credit card and never returned. Had I known she wasn’t coming back out, I would have just paid for the round that would have been it. She also took the liberty of giving herself a tip despite not letting us know she wouldn’t be coming back. That was totally unacceptable. When I mentioned it to the 19 kid year old running the clubhouse couldn’t even tell me the what I was charged on my card. That made me feel like my card could have disappeared and nobody would have cared at all. Course condition was passable but not great.
Love this place go often every year. Friendly people good restaurant reasonable pricing. Three 9-hole courses Course alway in excellent condition. Thank you Chippewa
The staff was very disrespectful, one of the younger staff members swore at myself and another member of my group as we returned our carts. The manager was standing beside him and said nothing. We went back to complain and they did not apologize. Course was in good shape.
Too bad greens were air raided. Fairwairs were beautiful
My 3rd time at Chippewa this year. I went golfing with a friend of mine on August 1st. Staff inside the pro shop were very friendly. Had a very bad experience with the ranger or “starter” I had asked if my friend and I could just golf as a pair, since he is a beginner I thought it would be better if we played as a twosome. He was very rude and condescending to me. I think the verbiage and tone he used towards us was uncalled for. He simply could of said that it was too busy and unfortunately we would have to pair up. The gentlemen we ended up pairing up with were great and were patient with my friend and myself. However I do not like being talked down to and being told make up your mind or go and get a refund and leave, was pretty shocked. We only ended up playing 9 and then left. The one thing I was happy with was getting a rain check for the back 9 we did not complete, which is why I’ll give Chippewa two stars. It honestly is a fun course and great for the price but I will probably never go back because of the ranger I dealt with before tee time.
We have been golfing here many times the coarse is not bad but be aware recently while golfing the golf cart we were given was acting up with the brakes so my husband spoke to the young fellow and the young man showed my husband how to set the brakes to lock them well while we continued to golf the cart brakes seemed harder to set as we were getting I believe to the 8th hole I was teeing off and all hell broke loose the cart brake let loose and took off down a sloped hill because of two ladies on the green below adjacent to our hole my husband had ran after the cart so these two ladies would not get hit the stopping of the cart caused my husband to be thrown causing him injury we changed carts after the ninth but the staff blew this incident off and lined the cart up to go out again after my husband told the staff that this is not a safe cart I emailed the golf coarse but am still to have received a reply this is sad. ???? update after this review Chippewa contacted us and assured us that the cart in question was pulled and will go through an overhaul and be fixed, safety is the upmost.????
Played the red nine. Fairly wide open so if you spray your ball then you can recover. Greens were in quite good shape. Course is very walkable. They have 27 holes in total.
Good course for the price. Last visit was a little disappointing. Three of us were told to add a single into our group. Never an issue but it would have made sense to put the single with the twosome that was behind us. Ended up letting the twosome play thru slowing down the pace. Other than that, always enjoy playing at Chippewa.
Course is in ok shape for the price, but they need to invest in some marshals. Slow play and groups not letting those faster go through goes unchecked here. Try to tell someone at the clubhouse and they tend to run away.
Pretty nice course. Beer cart arrived frequently enough.
Beautiful fall day of golf. Course in great shape. Greens were very good. Some holes had leaves strewn about making it challenging to locate your ball but to be expected for time of year.
Great greens fairways excellent, well maintained
$40 for 18 holes and a golf cart, you can't go wrong. Good course too
The course is in great shape, fantastic customer service. The staff are nice and for pretty much 35$ for a quick 9, they even put my clubs in the cart and pulled it around. I haven't had service like that on a member course!
Looking forward to my first round of the season at The Chip this afternoon. Greater HAMILTON has some terrific tracks, but none rival the friendly atmosphere and courteous fellow golfers that this classic course offers. Special mention to the groundskeeper crew who really know how to care for the greens. One of my long-time golf associates, Paul (Adam Scott) K, likes to whine and b”*$# that we should only play higher end courses and we do, but pound for pound, the Chip has what they have and then some. Besides, he never complains until after a loss. #theebestvalue #fun #makethetriptothechip
The greens were in great condition on the Red and Gold courses. Some of the bush by the tee boxes has grown up, making it difficult to see the Hole # signs that outline distance and hole’s outlook. The ‘starter’ (staff member) was a bit cranky and unorganized but that was the only unpleasant part of my round at the course.
fun inexpensive course, good value
Was ok...staff wasnt the friendliest. I had to interrupt their conversation about raccoons to find out what cart to take and which hole i was starting on. Pace of play on the front 9 was the worst I've seen in a long time. Group of hackers wouldnt let us play thru. We were supposed to follow them and the back 9 but we chose to play the other 9. Was a good call as nobody was on it, we flew thru the back 9. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Tee boxes and greens were a little too close together for my liking. All in all decent course thats in much better shape than Scenic woods and southbrook. Would play again.
The course was already a little dried out and it was a somewhat slow round for a Thursday afternoon, but it was a nice day of golf. The greens and tee blocks were in good shape. The beverage cart could have come by at least one or two more times. We also had a bite to eat after and the food was fairly average, but the portion size was large and appreciated.
We attended for an early spring round. There was a good spring special price, and the course was wet but in overall good condition for the time of year! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Having 3 nines to pick from is definitely a bonus.
Fast play today. 3 hour round nice rough making you play faurway
Great place had nothing to say bad about it. Wish I could do a 4.5 star. It was just too busy for me that's all.
27 holes. Good challenge. Course is in great shape. A good value for your money. I recommend this place and I will be back.
Not bad for the price. The whites were so so , the reds were alot nicer never played the golds. Overall the course was a not bad shape.
Great course, tee greens were pristine, and can't beat that sunset, always makes a great day out
Always enjoy playing at Chippewa but yesterday the Marshall was a complete jerk. We just went off a bit from the cart path and he screams at my foursome. Most part we respected the cartpath rule because of the wet conditions. Your staff should be a bit more respectful.
The course was in good shape. Very easy going in the club house. They had the drink/food cart out and was by often. Food was pretty good. All-in-all, been a few times and always been a positive experience.
Some of the best service I've had at a golf course. Golf here regularly
Great coarse. The staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are very well priced. The only the coarse could really use is water coolers throughout the coarse to hydrate
The people there are very friendly and helpful. The courses are ok. The tee blocks need the most work. Your average run of the mill golf course. The Eagle or gold 9 is the best of the three. If you play 18 holes with the eagles included you'll have a better golf experience for sure. Golf prices are a little steep for what you're getting, but use Golf Now to book your round and you could save 20% or more.
