You have the information of real people who buy the services of Parkshore Golf Club (Golf) in Brampton (Canada).
Currently this firm receives a score of 2.8 out of 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is average, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Golf is classified in the category of Golf course.
Greens vibrancy needs work, but for the price and how well the staff treat you, I feel they deserve 5 stars. If you want to hit a well laid out course with plenty of par 5s and for a low price ( usually 20$ with cart on tee time) this is the place. I can imagine if people continue to visit in the numbers they are coming in, the Club will be able to move on cleaning up some of the greens and updating the bridges, which I stress are not a big deal at all unless you are particular. True honesty is what is needed sometimes and it’s already my 3rd time this year with cart and at less than $70 dollars spent total.
Worst course I've ever played on. Grass is burned, the green is so thick and filled with mud spots, and pretty much zero maintenance . The "Marshall" followed us the whole time with abslabsolu zero purpose. If you're looking to burn $30 and have the worst golf experience, hit up this pathetic excuse for a golf course. I highly suggest you stay away. Total waste of time!
This course USED to be a hell of a nine hole course. But ever since the new owner took over, he has managed to quickly DESTROY it. Cant really understand why he even bought this place. Yes they have fixed the clubhouse, but i don't ever play anywhere because the clubhouse. And it only got a star because i couldn't post without it.
Links golf, hard pan fairways. Green are sub-par. Needs to sink some money for improvements. Played some year's ago. Was in better shape. Good deal for a quick round.????????⛳????️♂️
The price is great. Usually not too busy. Tough track that demands target golf. Slow speed of play. Nine holes should not take three hours.
The staff is super nice
This is actually a really well designed long course. If they can bring it back to what it used to be then Parkshore will be a tough course to test your skills. Fix the patchy putting greens and fill the sand traps and then it'll be a sweet hidden gem.
Lots of potential in this golf course but I have to say it looked a bit poorly maintained, no signage on the course. The score card had no map of the course and you would have to guess where you were hitting. Very easy to lose tons of balls if you are not an experienced golfer.
Douchebags
Cant tell the difference from roughs and greens. Pin placement is next to impossible to locate. Only Paid $10 for my round and still let down.
fantastic
Long course, reasonable price. Some difficult holes that require some course management. Not well maintained, burnt fairway at times, garbage in fescue. Will replay but not my top choice.
Get ready for some long drives, par fives and fours will give you a good workout????????
Greens are not cut, sand is non existant and fairways are not groomed. Last time I'll be here this year
Used to work here as a Marshall years back when the current owner took the place over.. it was within a day (not exaggerating) that I knew the man had no clue what he was doing and no clue about the golf business.. he cheaps out on staff, which anyone who has played there can attest that the course has looked terrible over the past 5+ yrs... he also bought Castlemore, sold off 9 holes and let the remaining 9 hokes go to hell as well... the greenskeeper he employed had to mow/cut and maintain both places by himself.. he would do 2 holes (if that) at one course then have to travel to the other to tend a few holes there as well.. I quit just before the end of the season as his attention to the place was lacking and he was very confrontational with customers and never honoured passes. Needless to say I played there 1 time since then.. refuse to ggo cr this man my money
It’s not good business to false advertise this as a golf course. It is a field that has flags on it. Save your $28 and play on the street. The city has better courses DONT waste your money.
.
This place does not even deserve one star....... If you like golfing in a garbage heap, this is the place for you! The 4th hole was like a garbage dump! Broken garbage bags, hundreds of bottles all over the fairway. When I mentioned it to the staff, they were surprised, they said that the Marshall had been out on the course, and did not mention the condition........obviously he is BLIND or just does not care. The entire place is a disaster. They could not pay me to go back there!
It's so badly kept. This was once the best 9 hole course in the GTA. Sadly the new ownership hasn't done anything to maintain this once jewel of Brampton
We went here on Sunday for a booked tee time of 3:30 PM, we only got on the golf course and started playing at 4 PM because it was so behind. The golf course was not kept well and there were people behind us, maybe a group of 8 bundled all together who kept complaining to us and and the managers kept complaining to us as well about these people making complains, the thing is us 4 couldn't play any faster, there were people ahead as well and we couldn't hit them. Definitely not worth the money to play here. You can't even concentrate.
Fun for the price but low quality carts
Easy and convenient
Awful experience. Not maintained at all, growing wild. Avoid.
(Translated) A really long 9 hole at a low cost, but a really unmanaged golf course. (Original) 저렴한 비용에 정말 긴 9홀, 그러나 정말 관리거 않된 골프장.
worst golf course ever. only go to centennial if you are looking for a cheap decent 9 hole.
I DO NOT recommend this golf course. Every hole is poorly maintained, every green has brown patches/terrible grass. We accidentally drove in the wrong area and the owners came out yelling and dropping f-bombs after we had appologized multiple times. Terrible customer service. Rude people! Highly recommend any other golf course but THIS ONE.
Is there a -5 star rating? This place is a dumpster fire. No surprise, it’s Brampton, but Jesus Christ. Do some maintenance here. If it was free, I still wouldn’t golf here.
This course looks nothing like online pictures and is in abysmal condition. Overgrown grass or where mowed, the piles are left on the fairway...sand traps overgrown with weeds (no wonder there were no rakes out) and worn patches of dirt on the greens make putting a challenge. We would have appreciated a heads up about the water logged fairways on certain holes also. Good luck taking the golf cart over the dilapidated bridges. Overall not impressed and hopefully the owners will continue the renos they are doing on the clubhouse on the course also.
Ok
Not well maintained
Parkshore used to be a decent course at a great price. The price is still good but the quality of the course has deteriorated. Course layout is great & long so you get to use all the clubs in your bag. The greens are not manicured and there are plenty of bare spots and ant hills making it difficult to putt from some areas. Fairways on the some holes were also not trimmed and full of weeds making it frustrating to locate balls even after good shots.
Nice place to go
Horribly maintained and over priced
Terrible conditions. Like, the worst conditions I've ever seen on a golf course
Great place to go with friends.
DO NOT COME!!! Waste of 40$ I like how long it is but it has very bad grass. fairway is like not even there I wish I could get my money back and give this a -5 stars :(
5 stars for the price you pay. Great place to learn, or to practice your game. I heard they are pouring money into the course this coming season, so I would expect an increase in quality and naturally in price.
Definetly great experience
Good value. That's about it :)
Just went over to play based on my tee time of 10:12. When I got there, no one was in the pro shop (which was wide open) and the course was basically under water! Finally was able to reach someone on the phone who promptly said the course was closed due to the amount of rain received. Nothing on the website, no courtesy phone call. Will never go back. Horrible customer service.
Overall a good experience, some of the fairways need some love
It is what it is, I have to say when I'm playing it I love it because the only time I play it is when everything else is closed. It's a bit of a links-style course and the greens and the turf conditions are like playing 300 years ago. It's still golf Vallejo is great it's just a slightly different game.
Great price for golf course was not in the best shape could use some TLC but still a great value
Once one of my favourite courses, but new management completely destroyed this place, what do Punjab’s know about golf? Nothing
This CG is so under rated because it's its 3200+ yards for 9 holes people expect it's going to look like Glen Abbey? It's a gem and the snobs can stay away, because they don't want to pay $20 green fee. This course can be a Bear when the westerly winds are 25+ mph, making fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth holes unreachable in regulation. There's a winding creek that defines the holes and if you aren't a straight hitter or smart golfer you'll lose many balls. Yes the greens are furry and bumpy, but I always repair my ballmarks and any other marks I see. They spent thousands to renovate the clubhouse and it's gorgeous now. They are also putting in a driving range which needs to be perfected. For $20, it's about right, but if it was in better shape I guarantee it's worth $40 for nine holes. This GC will only get better in the years to come. Check it out. The new owners are great people and need the working man golfer to support the GC. And the owner told me that in 2018 the grill will be open.
Place was a pig sty. Puddles on the greens. Will never go here again.
Great for the value. Long track for a 9!
It took us 40 minutes to tee off. There was a group of EIGHT people playing together holding everyone up. Carts were broken but we paid for them anyways, and we were charged a full cart price that could only fit one set of golf clubs. The grounds are in terrible shape and it's truly a cattle patch. The course has tons of potential and has significant challenges for long drive holes, which is great, but the above issues cannot be ignored.
Great for the price and open late into the season.
Not a well maintained course at all. Dead dry grass on the greens and fairways. Very busy, friendly staff and relaxed feel on the course. Just needs better maintenance
The first time I haven't bought beer on the course as the lady riding around the golf cart looked like she had a 12er herself in the morning.. and every morning for that matter.
its funny how the recent "5 stars" are timed. Notice that they were added in strong winter months. NICE TRY. Slow Clap.
Quite challenging 9 holes.
I HAD to give this course 1 star in order to leave a review. From the start? The signage on Goreway dr is visible only if your travelling North and even then the sign is not near the road, it’s chipped; one person in our party missed it completely, the only reason I didn't Drive right by was because I recognised My team mates car! The guy in the pro shop was too busy taking personal calls to check us in on time. Finally when he noticed a line up, he checked us in. Automatically charged my for a cart then made a stink about the refund. The course was in terrible condition - garbage everywhere; mud patches on the course. My team mate was hit by a ball (we were on the 8th fairway and someone teeing of on the 1st hit it her). There should be a net btwn the fairways as they are quite crowded. No course ettiquette and no Marshall on the course. The noise from the surrounding factories and trucks was very disturbing. Definitely not worth the drive to Brampton.
Why do I see bugs and beetles on the golf course sign on the building. Makes no sense if they ever care about the golf course. Saying they have a cart and not allowing cart for not so wet course is absurd. I recommend do not waste money on this golf course.
Nice environment, great golfing experience
horrible groundskeeping
Should have listened to the reviews. Was looking for some last minute golf on the weekend. Sand traps were pools of sludge. VERY poorly maintained.
Yesterday I was booked to play at 2:40 pm and had already payed via golf now. Upon arrival the club house office was locked and there was no sign indicating the reason of closure anywhere. Seeing as I had already pre payed I went on to play according to my tee time as other players were also on the course playing and some people came to play after my arrival as well. Once my time slot had ended at 5pm I headed towards my car and a man sitting on the porch in front of the still closed office came at me aggressively invading my personal space to the point where I could feel his breath on my skin. He was not wearing a mask and I asked him politely to stay six feet away to which he responded rudely by using profanity and aggressively began to question whether I had payed to play and demanded I pay him on the spot. he claimed to be the owner of the property though I did not recognize him as I play at this location often. if he was the owner of the property this behaviour is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I was genuinely afraid that he would begin to get physically aggressive with me and whether or not he was the owner this encounter made feel extremely unsafe. instead of asking for proof of payment, which I would gladly have given, he began to accuse me and become aggressive. later that evening much after my time slot had been over I received and e-mail stating that my time slot had been cancelled and I had not requested it to be done so. This whole experience has been completely unprofessional and I have told all my golf playing friends about it as well and they too will not be returning.
Super long 9 hole course...
(Translated) Osome (Original) Osome
Greens are in awful shape, no maintenance. Fairway has tall grass and weeds. Marshall followed us around the entire time for absolutely no reason. Definitely not worth $32 for 9 hole with cart. Sprinklers came on while I was putting. Cant imagine ever coming back again.
For 3200 yards for 9 holes at $20, where 6 of the holes are driving holes, come on, its a bargain. The course needs to be maintenance but for the money i'm going back for more.
Good 9 holes course
Dreadfully maintained. I wouldn’t go back if it was free.
Went here after buying the Groupon. Let's just say it was worth the 12$ it costs me. Place is not well maintained at all, "greens" are more like browns. And fairways are bad enough to lose your ball.
It's a good one. Only thing is they should take care of goose poo.
Wouldnt go there again.
Raining
I would not recommend this course. Greens are Not well maintained, bunkers are filled with weeds. Management is rude and will use profanity towards customers. Save your money and time.
Seriously terrible experience. Completely unmaintained, weeds all over the grass, and the least even fairways I've ever seen. There's a railroad track right next to the course and trains were passing the whole time, and the sprinklers came up and sprayed us twice. Awful
Garbage golf club....
Golf in March has to be worth a 3 star review Some areas are wet and muddy, greens aren't quite green. But like I said it's golf in March, what do you expect?
Not well kept
Horrible service. No carts available and horrible Pro Shop associate. Cheap!
You get what you pay for...And this is the lowest price course I have seen anywhere. I would only recommend this course for a beginner on a budget who is looking for practice that isn't the same old driving range (a walking round is priced pretty close to a large or extra large bucket at a well kept range).
lots of potential here. long track, with some cool quirks. looks a lot better this year than last
Amazing service.
The worst owners/employees ever. We accidentally drove in the wrong area because they don't outline the trail properly. Then the owner comes out swearing and cussing us, asking us "what are we smoking/ drinking?", And dropping "f-bombs galore". Don't even bother. Absolute worst experience ever. Would, give -5 stars if I could. I would pay for your day to not come here, given the opportunity.
Not the best and not the worst. Prices are a bit high.
This is the worst golf course I have ever been to in my life. The grass was far too long, the marshall was probably the most disrespectful person that I have encountered on a golf course and we ended up getting into an argument with him. Essentially he said we were not going fast enough even though there was nobody behind us as far as we could see. Then I he just sat there and watched us play so that he knew we weren't goofing around. I will never go back!
...horrible
Friendly staff. Long par 5 holes for $20.00. Course in desperate need of some TLC and maintenance.
Decent course but jot well kept.
By far the worst golf course to go to. The staff are not very helpful . The greens are mostly dead the fair way is patchy mostly dead grass and dirt. They don't speak much English .and the guy driving around watching you play is so rude .. not worth the time or money
Poorly kept potential jewel. The fairway had so much dandelions, it was like hitting from the rough. A long course but would go faster if you didn't loose the balls on the fairway. The greens are very slow and sandtrap is covered by vegetation. I felt cheated for the price I paid.
This is a pretty bad golf course, all things considered. They don't seem to spend much on maintenance, it is entirely surrounded by trains and industrial parks, there are an enormous number of weeds, the water features look polluted, the sand traps are entirely overgrown, the greens are basically fairways, and many signs are falling apart. That said, it can be as low as $12/person with a Groupon to golf 9-holes, so you're really getting what you pay for.
Not in bad shape. Some areas a but more muddy than others. Also really surprised greens were fairly good too. Good to just use as a quick 9 or practice round. Played it in 1 hour and 57 minutes
Grounds and greens need work. It's long but even a good shot could lead you to searching for your ball
A lot of golf for the price. Course is not in the best shape, but it's an excellent practice course.
Get what you pay for. Great for practice
Horribly maintained, unnecessarily hallenging and honesty its a waste of money.
Honestly garbage course used to be cheap now 50$ for 9 and a cart weekday.... I can pay 56$ for 18 and a cart at centennial..... brutal course maintenance, doesn't look like the carts are even wiped down. No rush to come back at all.
Has all the potential in the world to be an excellent course. Bunker placement and water hazards are all in challenging locations. Long fairways, big greens. Course is in need of some TLC. Some properly invested time and money and this place is a hidden gem. Price is Right. Got around in under 2 hours walking by myself.
