My favourite “second” home course that I play with friends almost every Sunday am. I would give this a perfect rank - I find conditions mostly excellent and since we play early pace of play is very good.

Course is in very good shape this year. Good service from the clubhouse and the cart girl was prompt and had lots of nice cold beverages.

Great course! Well groomed greens, fantastic fairways. Well worth the short drive!!

Al safayat

Very quiet and calm place. You can enjoy the nature passionately.

Rocky Volk

Staff was unhelpful and not friendly and threatened to charge me for 4 people even though we were only 2. Starting marshall that was getting us going was disorganized. No cooler for drinks unlike the willows. It was packed. Group in front of us was slow. Course was in great shape. I love playing this course but they are trying to cram as many people as they can during covid season and staff can't keep up.

Chris Lloyd

Besides shooting a terrible round....the course is in awesome shape. Greens and fairways are spot on and the surroundings are perfect for a relaxing round of golf, which is why it's my favorite course to play!

I’ve been playing here for a few years now and I’m sad to see the course slipping this year. I’ll start off by saying the course itself is beautiful and in amazing shape! However the ridiculous cancellation policy needs to go. For a course that charges $90 a round there’s no need to be so aggressive with that policy. Also for paying that much of a premium you’d expect marshals and a reasonable pace of play… unfortunately moon lake does not have marshals and the pace of play is abysmal!!! The most recent round I played admittedly did have a tournament going on, but it was a 6 hour round. Six hours!!!! Management needs to funnel some money into hiring marshals instead of lining their own pockets. Also chill out on the cancellation policy. Charge a fee or something per golfer that doesn’t show up. Don’t charge full green fees, it’s greedy and unnecessary.

Chris Mills

Always enjoy shooting the moon.

Tom Wiggins

The course is in great shape! Excellent service within Covid19 guidelines. Moors 9 greens are top dressed so slower greens. Over all a solid 4 out of 5.

Graham Renny

The course looks good but it’s poorly run. It seems as if management has given up. There are delays EVERYWHERE, people blasting their music and not a marshal in site. At first I thought it might be that particular day but Ive played 3 rounds there now and each time it was the same gong show. If you enjoy dropping $100 and 6 hours to play a round of golf this place is for you. From a value proposition Moon Lake doesn’t offer a good bang for your buck. Better value can be found at other courses. On a positive note, the course is in great shape. Credit to the grounds keepers for doing s great job.

Best course I've played in the Saskatoon area so far. I was a bit skeptical at it's claim of being a links-style course but the story checks out. There are 27 holes in total with links called Moor, Rannock and Highlands, harkening to Scottish roots. All are prairie flat, but they did a good job facsimiliating the undulating greens of true links courses. Main challenges lay in the abundant bunkers, especially the large fairway hazards. Good effort. Full round with cart cost $98.

Beautiful condition, one of the best courses in Saskatchewan!

Paul Boyce

First time playing here. Booked over the phone for three of us. One of us is a surgeon on call. Called in the morning of the game and they couldn’t make the round. Get to the pro shop, very unhelpful despite letting them know and if we want to play we had to pay the third persons green fees as well - an extra $80 - we weren’t warned of this on the phone. A cancellation fee I could understand, as they really haven’t lost anything by just the two of us playing, so an $80 fee effectively was extreme and haven’t had this at any other course. Anyhow, we won’t be back, and we won’t recommend to anyone. The city courses or Dakota Dunes are just as good, the staff are friendly and they are well priced. Moon lake isn’t worth the drive and cost.

Course is in good shape, birdies are there for the taking

Very nice course. The grass was great and so are the greens. The course is split into three 9 hole courses. Very well maintained and the food is good.

Geoff Brand

Great shape for this early and how dry it's been

Peter Morris

First time played here and it won't be the last. Very tidy well maintained course.

Played there today. The workers had all the covid protection they needed. We teed off on 1 were in middle of fairway, group behind us were standing on the tee. Signs in clubhouse stated 10 mins between tee times. Not here, pushed the entire round. They're protected but could not care less about golfers, very poor during a pandemic.

Roy Sondershausen

There was a 40 wait between front and back 9. They ran out of carts. The play was very slow. Seemed to be too many tournaments there mixed in with booking. It was not worth the $90.

David Veilleux

Theres no marshals, so you'll want to leave yourself about 6-7 hours to play 18 because it becomes a congested, absolutely lawless swamp, but its a fun challenging course.

Bernie Lanteigne

Impeccable greens, grooming and maintenance. Outstanding service and hospitality. Great facilities and dining! Nicely done!

Brad Lisowik

Have played a few dozen rounds a year there for many years, nice lay out, but the poor management and rude service is too much, we're done.

Nice course! Some challenging holes. Like The Moors!

Very disappointing experience playing moon lake this weekend. One of the slowest rounds I've ever played. We spent over 5 and half hours playing 18 constantly waiting behind slow groups, at one point there was 4 groups waiting to tee off on one hole. The starter did a very poor job of pacing groups and there wasn't a Marshall on the course. There were even groups of 5 playing together on the course. Only positive was the course was in great shape and very well looked after! Overall not worth paying the premium price to play this course
