Course was in really poor shape . Very sad. Weeds everywhere bare spots on the tee boxes and greens . For the condition of the course I think 42 dollars is expensive also. Cart path is in terrible condition in multiple places. Actually very disappointed in the course and its supposedly maintained by a lawn care company

The staff is super friendly! The new greenskeeper has tuned this course into something truly beautiful and Dale is just wonderful with my kids. I play here twice a week and I have my kids signed up for Dale's golf camps all summer long. I am so thankful to have the group of people who run this course! I don't have the membership but I will for sure next year.

Greens in excellent shape, fairways not so much. I've played here many times over the course of the last 4 years and they continue to make small improvements. The greens are in excellent shape and well maintained. The fairways on the front 9 are in poor shape and in need of some reseeding. The fairways on the back 9 are better except 18 which is in horrible shape and in the process of being repaired. Finally, the carts and cart paths are in poor condition. They needed to change the carts several years ago and the paths are all falling apart with lots of pot holes. This course remind me of a place that does the best they can with a limited budget. It's in the best shape that I've ever played, but it needs lots and lots of improvements. It was a great value and if you haven't played it in several years, you should try it again.

Vastly overpriced for the rate charged. Greens were the worst in 5 years and it was the easiest summer for maintaining. Putting green has little relavance to the speed on the actual greens. Tee boxes so hard you need a hammer to set tee and ruts in fairways.

Not a bad little course. Pretty good shape BUT FOR CHRISTS SAKE GET A RANGER OUT HERE!!! FIVE GROUPS ON A HOLE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. If you don't mind waiting..and waiting...knock yourself out and enjoy.

I enjoy playing here, but the course has been in rough shape for the past several years. Several of the fairways are in poor condition and are mainly dirt. The fairways on holes #1, #4, #5, and #18 especially are in very poor condition. You are better being in the rough then hitting out of the dirt on those fairways. How hard is it to spread grass seed and water to repair these?

It is a nice layout and when I was there the staff was very friendly. The fairways were in horrible shape. Very dry and tons of dirt spots. Price were $20/18 holes w/cart at noon. I think if the greens and fairways were in better shape I would have enjoyed it better. Oh and other golfers there, wether they were residents or visitors, were friendly and considerate beings my game does drag a bit at times.

For Ill.??.... I'M a Michigander , it was hardpan... Could not get the tees into the ground !!... Sand traps only half inch of sand...greens hard and but speed was good.. course needs watering. .. fairways - hard to take a divot..

Staff is friendly and greens have improved tremendously over past four years. Have been playing there for 20 plus years and it has changed ownership a few times. Current ownership has continued to invest back into course and make improvements. More than anything, the current ownership inheirited a course that needed a lot of work and they seem committed to getting it done. The fairways as noted in other reviews need a lot of work on five or six holes and my bet is that this will get done over the next two years. It's a tough business to be in and I give the owners a big thumbs up for reinvesting.

The fairways were in very rough shape in some places. About 1/2 of the holes had an unmarked drainage ditch across the fairway (often hidden behind a hill). The course is in a somewhat beautiful setting and the service from the staff was good. This was a challenging course. Most holes are straight but narrow corridors without another hole on either side. Instead there are houses on one or both sides of most holes. If you slice or hook badly, be prepared to hit some houses.

Absolutely horrendous!!! Worse conditions I have ever played at this course. This used to be a premium course to play and one of my top five favorites. Either lack of effort or money or both have degraded this course to absolute garbage. It will take years of solid effort by management to bring this place back to playable shape. I for one will NOT be returning for some time or hear that drastic measures have been taken to show improvement.

I really like the clubhouse! They have made drastic improvements with their golf course! The simulators are awesome! Pro shop in good shape. Simulator upstairs is just golf, but downstairs, has multiple sports such as football and soccer. The concessions are a pit pricey with $2.50 for a small soda. As a neighborhood resident I will be returning for years to come! Also on the 18th hole, there are always free golf balls a little into the woods about 100yds from the green.

The food is good quality, nothing fancy but decent. Prices for most of the menu are typical of a golf course, $8 for most sandwiches and about 11 or 12 for a small personal pizza. The fish fry on Friday nights is ran by an outside catering service, and that is not worth the price at all. I attached a picture of what approximately $23 will buy you for fish (to go). With the plentiful amount of VFWs and other organizations doing fish events, absolutely a terrible deal. The in-restaurant buffet is also not all you can eat fish, as the sides are unlimited but if you want more fish than the initial plate you are charged per plate. Also, kids under the age of 11 are $8 a person and if your kid is under two and you complain they drop it down to $4. I am guessing this is due to the fact that the average age of people in this housing area is 75, because that is an insane price for a child who will eat 2-3 pieces of fish if you are lucky (specifically the under 2 age). Much better options available close by.

Played for the first time and really enjoyed our round. Tee boxes,fairways, and almost every green were in great shape. Only a couple of bad spots on a couple of greens but considering our crazy summer weather,not an issue. Definitely recommend this course for all handicaps.
