Extremely poor course conditions. $100 for 18 holes with a cart was very expensive. No GPS on carts, goose poop everywhere on back 9. Would not return. Smugglers Glen is a much better deal for the same price.

Golf course is in excellent condition. Beautiful club house. Cost of a round of golf is a little expensive but they have specials which makes playing affordable. For example check out their Monday afternoon special, round of golf including cart and includes a meal from a selected menu. Great deal!

You pay 22 dollars for 1 cart but if you have 2 people it’s 22 dollars per person for 1 cart so if you have 2 people it’s 44 dollars per cart which is such a rip off

Played with my wife. They made us starting the back 9 (not sure why, no explanation was given) to find out they were servicing all the sprinklers. Made it to the front 9 and had to wait for our tee off (2 groups ahead of us). Most of the fairways had just been airated and were full of plugs. They were unplayable in my view. My wife stopped playing due to conditions and we ended up just leaving. The course should have been shut down for this type of maintenance.

The service is always good at Loyalist. I played the course earlier this year and was not impressed. Played it again today (Aug 8 /20)...the course was in great shape. Greens and fairways well maintained. Pace was excellent. Thank you.

Amazingly beautiful grounds for a wedding

First time and last time. My partner and I booked for two players, we are self conscious amateurs trying to get better at the game. We had heard the course was well maintained, which it was, so we thought we would try it. When we checked in to play this afternoon, the person at the clubhouse didnt bother telling us they were making it a foursome with two very good golfers, we found that out when we went to the tee off. Of course things were very embarrassing for us because two very good golfers had to wait for us to flubb our way through the holes. I still cant believe we weren't asked or at least warned. To top that off was Paul Blart the mall security guard following us around the golf course. If you want to pay money to have a wannabe golf cop shadowing you, loyalist is the place to go. If you are an amateur golfer, loyalist is not for you, unless frustration and disappointment is your goal.

Nice course, it's a difficult course to play. Staff is courteous.... but the houses are built way to close to the course. A window was broken ( not due to irresponsible play) and it is the responsibility of the golfer to pay for the window . An extra unexpected charge that will leave a bad experience. My self I would play somewhere else next time.

My wife and I got married at Loyalist Golf and Country Club in June 2018. The venue is beautiful and all the staff were beyond amazing. The day of coordinator was wonderful to work with. She ensured all of our questions and concerns were addressed prior to the event. She was extremely easy and always available to communicate with. I felt like she genuinely wanted our wedding to happen just as we wanted it. The staff working that day were so accommodating and friendly. All of our guests were extremely pleased with the service they received at the bar. The food was delicious. All 3 courses and the hor d'oeuvres were enjoyed by everyone. We had guests with severe allergies and the kitchen staff was very professional in handling our request to exclude all allergens from the kitchen. I would highly recommend using this location for your event.

Just played, on Saturday Aug 25th 2018, in a 2 person team family event at Loyalist. Lovely course. Very well organized event. Fantastic job done by Nolan, asst. pro, and his vey friendly staff. Talked about it for a few days now about what a great, well organized fun event on a lovely course with a lovely club house. Met several members and they were super nice. Well done Nolan and big thanks Loyalist from, 2 dads / 2 sons, Dalewood Golf Club members in Port Hope.
