This golf course has a nice layout, and views, with all the amenities, and will certainly be worth playing here again. I am not a big golf player, but I did play with a few of my friends. I think I won, at least I should have, I had high score, LOL.

Beautiful Course. Easily one of the best bang for your bucks in the GTA. A mash up of a links style and treelined, this course challenges you off the tee to be precise. Greens run true, and fairways are cut nicely. Lots of course maitiance right now on numerous fairways but didn't affect the play to much. One of my favourites in quality, overall layout and location.

The staff is very friendly, and very welcoming. Decent value just outside of Toronto. They have a couple wonky holes but for the most part offer a good mix of links/valley style holes. The course is in good shape this year (2021). We had an over long round the one year (bachelor party) and they tried to accommodate us the best they could. They were very apologetic and gave us a rain cheque after we finished our round. TLDR version - great course/better customer service.

Was part of a wedding there recently and was so impressed with how efficient everything was run. Jess, their coordinator, is a superwoman. Handled any issue that arose and made everyone feel calm and confident for the big day!

Fun course. Conditioning is good, greens, fairways and tees are good. The layout is fun. Some awkward target type holes on the back nine but very picturesque. Price was right as well! Will be heading back.

Gorgeous course that you have to play, not hit and hope. You'll use every club in your bag and work to find scoring opportunities. Beautiful view of the course from 11th green/12th tee. Must try!

Made it here for the first time of the season in August. By comparison the shape of the course start to finish is top notch. Challenging as always with tough greens and some unforgiving fairways. The people were also very pleasant and helpful, adhering to the the 2020 protocols. Overall great experience, hoping to get back at least once more this year!

The greens guy was very angry last weekend lol! Never seen hole placements that bad before, impossible to make any putts, all holes on crazy side hills at the edge of the greens, took a lot of the fun out of the game!

I've always liked this course. Interesting layout, nice challenge. Good value. I like how they re-routed the 9s a year or two ago. It gives a bit more balanced experience. I'd give it four stars, but my only issue is that the last few times I've played it, they have the pins in really really dirty spots. Like 8-9 pins within 5-6 feet of the edge of the green. I'm a scratch golfer, so I really don't mind a challenge, and I get frustrated with people who blame their bad play on things like pin placements, but this was a bit extreme. I don't mind tough but fair, but this was a bit beyond that. I said something to one of the staff, who said "sounds like someone didn't get laid last night," and someone else chimed in "good golfers never blame their bad play on the pins!" I mean, c'mon, guys.

Tale of two nines. The front plays very different the back. The front is open and much more forgiving. The back is tight in places and I find there is a number of awkward placement / lay-up required 'blind' type shots where it almost feels like they ran out of space to properly finish a hole. If you're not playing with someone who has played the course before, you're at a disadvantage! The back 9 does have some beautiful views though. It's a fun challenge and it keeps me coming back.

I've been playing this course since it's been open and it's a favorite, HOWEVER, there is a lot of fairway winter kill damage this year. I've never seen it so bad. I'd recommend calling the course to see how things are going before playing, as I doubt it will be better much before mid summer, and possibly next season. Greens are in good shape, which is one of the best parts of the course. Disappointing that they don't have some type of reduced rate given the current condition of a few of the fairways. #3 is badly affected; as you crest the top of the hill and head down towards the green (typically where you hit down to on your 2nd or 3rd shot.

Cant say enough good things about this golf course. Haven't had a chance to check out the food or amenities too much, but the course itself is top notch.If you like a golf course with undulations and elevated tees etc, then this is for you. this is as far from a straight up and down farmers field course as you will find. Thank you black diamond for making me use every club in my bag and having to think about every shot. AWESOME!!!!!

Great place to play a round of golf, four or five holes are links-style while the rest features great variety of elevation change and curvature. Score well on the links holes because you'll need the boost of confidence when you head into the forest to have your game tested.

Attended the Mother’s Day buffet brunch at noon today . Very disappointed in the lack of service and the taste and temperature of the food. Definitely could have had a better tasting, cheaper, hotter breakfast at the cafe in town. We were all looking forward to this buffet due to Our Anniversary dinner in September which was delicious and the cheesecake dessert that was amazing there certainly was no comparison today. I frankly was embarrassed especially watching people try to cut there meat. Probably won’t be back, which is sad as it is our hometown ☹️

Been meaning to leave a review for a while.....We got married at Black Diamond in Sept 2018. It was a perfect day all thanks to Jessica the wedding planner and the decor company they hire. Through out the year of planning Jessica was always available for questions. There was no request of ours that was turned down. She made the day so easy to plan. Thank you Jessica. And the golf course is beautiful!

I only gave it two stars because of the staff. Other than the two guys in the pro shop, they were cordial but certainly not friendly. The main complaint is that there were grounds staff all over the course at one o'clock in the afternoon. Clearly they don't start early enough. On the 12th hole, as soon as the group in front walked off the green and we were ready to hit, the maintenance employee walked on the green, removed the flag, walked back to his machine, got on and proceeded to do his work (he never even waved or acknowledged that we were there). A few minutes later, which seems like forever during a round, he put the flag back in and moved to the fringe!?! We definitely could have beaned him where he was sitting. When we finally got to the green he argued with our handicap flagged companion that he had to stay on the cart path (he was no more than 10 feet off on hard ground, and it was further than that to the green). He said the flag didn't matter he had to stay on the path around all greens. We asked what is the point of the flag? He just kept arguing so we said "you're right, we're wrong" and tried to ignore him but he just kept going. He was still talking at us as we were driving away from the green. I have never experienced either of these situations at any other club. Although it is a nice course I doubt I will go back as there are plenty of other good tracks around that understand customer service... price isn't everything.

Nice day of golf. The course was in really good shape, particularly the greens. There are a few 'head scratching' holes that zig and then zag but we were with people who had been members previously so they showed us the way around the course. Several holes are best managed with a 4-iron off of the tee; hitting targets is much more important than distance in these cases. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to play there again, it was fun!

We were driving by from cottage and decided to play. Course is very nice. We booked round for two players and paid fee for our wifes as a non playing spectator. After first shot starter on par 5 drove to us and told that person from pro shop told him that our wifes are playing. It was foulse accusation. We would never do something like that. This was really insulting. We didn't get any apologies. We can't get any names because employees don't have name tags. I will never spend $1 on this course. Marshall was hiding in bush an showed gesture that he is watching us few times. He should have pushed slow players because pace was slow It was total embarrassment.
