This Golf corresponds to the category of Public golf course.
Beautiful course looking out over Rice lake. Fair prices
Customer service was excellent and welcoming. Resort facilities are family friendly, very clean and tidy. Cottage unit Alexander 5, that we stayed is well cleaned and well managed .Thank you so much to the owner Lindsay Medieros and to the Great Blue Resorts. We'll definitely come back and would highly recommend, one of the best place to stay esp.for a family.
Challenging course. Especially for beginner golfers. Stunning scenery. 10th hole is the best view outside Muskoka.
Only played the golf course. Had a lot of fun, very forgiving course. Good course to score on if your a long ball hitter. Very fair rates also
Great track. Well designed. Tough greens. Not a course for casual and high handicap golfers. Course is drying out under the hot, humid conditions, so frequent brown grass evident. We played in 4 hours, 40 minutes. Slow pace. Tee times should be increased from 9 minutes to 12 minutes. We'd play this course again, even commuting from Toronto.
Nice course
Stunning views, great staff was slow due to groups but very nice. Will go back!
nice view of the lake
An amazing resort just 1.5 hour from the cities hustle bustle. The resort have great amenities.
We were there looking to buy a cottage. Facilities are great and very pleased with Christina who showed us around and explained to us everything. Thank you!
played back to back rounds summer 2018, and found the course to be quite nice, challenging, and good value, but an absolute ball swallowing machine. I'm an everyday player at home, and found this track very disconcerting regarding distances off the tees and unable to track your ball over rises etc. Even using the laser at every opportunity. Lost more balls in 2 days here than the rest of the summer at home, and my buddies who don't play as often, literally stocked up on cheap balls before hitting this course.
Beautiful course. Challenging holes. Well maintained.
Decent course for cheap but pretty far out, don’t buy a cottage in their park though it’s horrible service and a waste of money.
You got a great view from some of the whole you teeing off from..the staffs are friendly an make you feel welcome....
The resort is beautiful but the staff aren't overly helpful. Their idea of winterizing your cottage is to put the barbeque inside it...to attract colonies of mice
Decent place. Clean, updated cottages.Nothing on the TV though, other than a DVD player without DVDs.
Awesome golf! Nice and friendly people.. be back as soon as golf season opens. Just need to fix most of the cart paths.
Lovely little cottages, nice little beach and dock for boats and bit of fishing right nearby, heated pool for those days when the lake is a bit too chilly, playground and splash pad for littler kids, basketball court and golf for much bigger "kids" and fire pit in front of every cottage - what more could one want for a perfect cottage weekend?
Its beautiful
Amazing golf course, beautiful scenery.
Awesome golf course very challenging with huge greens excellent fairways and outstanding views. Can't beat the views from the deck after a round with a cold one. Outstanding value...It's a must play every year...
Nice course and stunning scenery overlooking Rice Lake.
Golf is great - cottages are okay.
Much challenge courses for every golfer. But the beautiful lake scenery might attract golfers to try. I like come back in the future. See you again.
Nice course and layout. Greens were a little beat up and could use some work. One younger employee wasn't the most helpful/polite, but others made up for it.
Service was decent, staff was very nice, and various activities are available.
Good amenities, great for a family weekend getaway
Great views, challenging course and well worth the money. Can’t wait until they open for the season!
This place has an awesome trailer community going on. They are all modern and basically are little homes!
To celebrate LABOR holiday, 4 of us stayed & played :) staff's warm, friendly and amazingly supportive. Our cottage on Glen Abbey was perfectly well maintained and clean Impressive!!!!!!
Great views and challenging course
Great location with an excellent golf course.
It's a perfect cottage getaway. You have a pool, a cosy house, the beach, the sky, a golf course, a playground for the kids, a basketball court etc. The only drawback is that we didn't own the cottage, which means we had to shell out alot of money to stay there. Haha
Over crowded, poorly run, disorganized, very disappointed.
Very wet
First time out there and its challenging the greens r something it was a great time
Great place
The cottages here are great
Went golfing. Love this course. The views are awesome.
Great cottages, clean and lots of fun activities for family's and non family's
Nice golf course and small cottages for summer rental and sale
Great cheap nice day fun had by all
Great golf course
Barely air conditioning work barely wotah work. De golf is good driving is fun. If u want Ac and wotah this place does not give u much.
Great cottages great location and amenities
Very nice course with great views of Rice Lake at almost every hole. Course is in good shape. Greens are very, very, tough. Would be nice to have a pin sheet available before your round. You definitely need to be below the hole on this course. Staff are always friendly.
Golf course is great. Challenging. Beautiful scenery. Fall colors just changing as we were there.
Love this golf course
The views from the course over rice lake are beautiful. The golf course front 9 holes very challenging back 9 wide open and the winds yes this course lives up to its name.
Very nice course! Unlimited golf if you're an owner of a cottage here! Great scenery and no hassle golf course!
Excellent course
Great place. Amazing view. Service was impeccable here. Day well spent!
No WiFi in cottage 82. Beach is very small and quickly occupied. Lovely lake view especially as we approached the cottages from the office building! Salt water pool is small but nice for the children as the deepest end is less than 5 ft deep. Four umbrellas to shelter under. Very nice gym room but it was closed for the 3 days we were there. Three modern washer and dryers. Upon checkin, the young man was friendly but not very knowledgeable as he was covering for the regular front desk staff who was getting the cottage ready. No receipt printout only email... Not sure if that is because we booked through a third party. The gas range, fridge and above-range microwave were large and functioned very well, however, the range hood (in the microwave) vented the steam and heat back into the kitchen which did the cottage extremely hot. It was very nice to have the mosquito screen around the gazebo! Kitchen was stocked well with cooking pots and pans, however, it was missing a potato masher. TV remote was missing a battery. Tip for the cleaning staff: vacuum properly under the sofa bed and under the chair cushion please. I will not be returning as the resort does not suit us. Everything looked larger online. Best suited for families with younger children and golfers (lots of golf carts!) and maybe people looking to fish by taking a boat out on Rice Lake. Using two appliances (like the toaster and coffee maker or coffee maker and kettle) trips the breaker.
Nice place
Tee times are booked 5 minutes apart and the staff pressure you just about as often to hurry up along the course. If you have kids or new golfers with you it makes it a miserable experience. The only good thing about it is it's conveniently located
great hidden gem
Very challenging golf, which is in great condition
Will try again in a couple of years as it matures. Other courses in the area are green where this one was very Brown and dry.
Can be great.. Need the fairways to be fairways not roughs. Too long
Beautiful course, not much for a club house/food. Staff was pretty mixed, some nice and friendly and some just horrible.
Unbelievable scenery and a course that is always well kept. Brought a bunch of guys from work out here several times this season and always had a great time. Staff were always excellent to deal with, and if we were better golfers the cart GPS would've helped the score, lol. Overall my favorite course this season by far!
Highly recommended. Connect with Great Blue resorts and rent a cottage and play a few rounds.
Used to love it but now it's surrounded by trailers and packed with the residents of those trailers. You can't play a single hole without waiting. The formerly gorgeous view is in many places wrecked by trailers and storage containers. The sound of birds and wind has been replaced by construction and screaming children. Progress has destroyed another beautiful place.
Nice place great elevation with scenery. And water front as well small village of recreational cottages right on Rice Lake /Trent Severn Way!! Good Golf course and amenities. Pools fitness center.
Play often and since it opened. Course gets better every year. Am there but because of golf not the extras.
Great viees
Nice place
It was my first time visiting this place and the experience was amazing catching fish and eating it riding the bote and enjoying it
I can't wait to go back and visit
Beautiful views and doing alot of work to spruce the place up with all the new cottages
Beautiful course with great views. Well maintained (especially considering the delay with COVID). Multi-level holes made for some beautiful views and shot making. Was challenging and enjoyable. Only issue is that they were having some troubles with the GPS unit in some of the carts and I happened to have one that did not work but the marshal at the first tee offered me the chance to grab a new cart after 9th hole. Should also mention that the marshal at the first hole was very friendly which makes for a good start to your day. Will definitely return again.
Very challenging and very picturesque. Love it and will definitely be going back.
Great course in great shape $ price was a little on high side !!
Nice course Fall golf at its best
Amazing views of rice lake. Great staff. Great course!
We visited here the past few summers, and have been very satisfied with our stay. Rice Lake is great for fishing and swimming or boating and jet-ski. Is a ton of fun and the resort is safe and kept clean and organized. The resort has been improving with a new gym and laundry room. Bring bug spray, and sunscreen, the Kawartha's are beautiful but deadly with regards to insects.
Great golf course.
Golf course, nice view
Great spot unfortunately we booked late and some of the trailer areas are spaced pretty far apart. Our group opted to stay in the one trailer versus shuffling between the two.
Great course, very challenging
Beautiful ..scenic place with golf..paid yearly membership to own cottages and golf
A great course on the Lake with amazing views. Course is in great shape and the pace is usually not bad.
This place is amazing. This is our second year golfing here and we love it. We stay there for a night and golf 2 days. Your going to love the tenth hole.
Amazing place to visit whether my friends
Beautiful and large golf course. Nice sports play area as well. Buildings were relatively spacious and clean.
Beautiful park right on Rice Lake with an 18 hole golf course that has some of the best views you can get of the lake. We own a trailer in the park and all of the trailers that are rented are owned as well so they are taken care of in such a manner. Direct access to the lake, boat launch is 5 mins down the road, and a dock with slips for rent. There is also a beach area that is groomed daily. There is a pool area with seating and umbrellas as well as a sprinkler park. Basketball courts, workout room and laundry room are located near the pool area. We have a great time at Bellemere and spend almost every weekend in the summer at the park.
Very enjoyable experience, good course, challenging and well spaced out. Almost Ran out of beer though on a weekend.
Great fun for the family
Awesome vistas
Great property for a golf course , maintenance fair. Carts and paths brutal bring your back brace. Don,t maintain traps.
Great course, most holes have views of rice lake
Long golf course, not recommended for children
Nice views, well maintained greens, good prices. Nice to play here once or twice a year.
Quiet place.
Great cottage time away from the city. .any listed on Airbnb. Splash pad, pool, basketball court available in the facilities. Canoes, paddle boards available to guest of the resort. Golf course is good with great views of Rice Lake.
Great greens. Cart paths are not surviving this years heavy rains very well. 72 new carts.
Great relaxing with the family
We had a nice get away renting a unit here. AC worked pretty good, but needed the interior doors open for return air flow. Price was not cheap, but not too expensive for a whole park model trailer. But the amenities were a joke. Had to pay extra for my son over 18, ridiculous! Canoe and kayak loan was the only thing we used and they tried to close it early on us. Had to call mgmt to get them unlocked at 3:00 on the afternoon. One medium pool that was way over crowded, and one shallow kid pool on phase 2. Oh and the golf was great. Nice course, good challenge, fast greens. Clean except the rock (er I mean sand) traps.
It's great for golf buffs, Rice Lake is great. Nice and relaxing. Would get 5 star if the cottages were better.
It's great for golf buffs, Rice Lake is great. Nice and relaxing. Would get 5 star if the cottages were better.
I love this place
A new favorite on our Ontario golf course list. Beautiful views and challenging holes and bet it's stunning in the fall too!
Played here many times. Course is always in really great shape and is very well designed.
Course was in great shape today.
Awesome , love it for relaxing and spending time with family, my daughter sharda Ram and grandkids
We held the Rotary Club of Peterborough Centennial Golf Tournament (Grady Shoes, a major sponsor) and the entire staff was all exceedingly helpful, courteous and experienced hosts. Thanks to Perry Marshall for his tremendous support and advice before and during g our tournament!
Beautiful and breathtaking views. Great course. Fun times.
(Translated) Every hole in the stadium can see the lake, the design of the fairway is ulterior, the designer adds a lot of difficulty, the trees... the difference... the pond, especially the 10th hole, the drop is very big, the wind is blowing, and the gun is fired towards the lake! Unfortunately, the ball lane is too rough, water is accumulated when it rains, and dust is on a sunny day. There are also bunkers that are too bad to basically function properly.
Love this course.
Tad pricey for the course. Biggest issue is that good shots are not rewarded on this course. If you stripe one down the middle then on several holes you will have a bunker directly between you and the green If your Tee shot is to either side of the fairway, you get a clear shot. Nice view on most holes though, and the people are very friendly.
Great people and service. The resort was clean and professional. Golf course looked amazing hopefully i can play a round next time im there.
Lots of parking for larger vehicles and great view. Course was well rounded for all skill levels.
Have fun...beautiful scenery
Under construction but it's a nice peaceful place to stay. Time to edit. Very scary if you have bought a trailer here. Your $90,000 unit will get you a $40,000 lumb of coal when you want to sell. They have owed me $1000 dollars and will not respond to requests for a refund. Kaillie and Jason are both in way over their heads. Staff always changing. What I said at 1st was a couple of weeks in, 2 years later and I was so wrong. A travel trailer is still the best bet. Not happy with the park? Tow trailer to different park. Shame on BWGC.
Very nice course Well kept
Pace of play hindered by an issue with golf carts, and the group in front who would refuse to let others play through. Marshall was no where to be seen. Other than that great course.
We just purchased a cottage, and looking forward to rest and relaxing with family and friends
Amazing
Nice course. Great views.
Great time, great place
Great views. Great value. Great course.
Clean modern cottages, friendly staff, scenery unreal and awesome amenities.
We do all the decks there
Enjoyable, but very dusty.
Terrible service here.. booked a tee time for 4:20pm on Tuesday and we get there and there’s over 20 people waiting to tee off because they are so behind. They never once offered us a better rate or anything. Just said “oh we are backed up” yet there were no marshall’s speeding up play or anything. They had over 10 damaged carts sitting there that weren’t working and they didn’t seem to care at all that a boat load of us are just standing there. Now we won’t even get 18 holes in but yet are still expected to pay. Won’t be returning and will be telling everyone about this.
Great golf course and beautiful views of the lake
Nice course
Way to expensive
Played on June 20th. Upon arrival I was confused on where to go as there were small homes all over the place. The golf shop was very small but well maintained. Golf price was a little bit over priced but they did not charge green fee for 12 year old. For a first time golfer, I did not know where the 1st tee was and had to figure it out on my own. Overall the golf course was in good shape. Greens were rolling well other then a handful of greens healing from aerification. The worst part was the cart paths as some were in extremely bad shape. I lost my drink from the cup holder on a hole. Overall, the course was fun to play and everyone enjoyed the round. I will say that the sand bunkers were well maintained and trimmed. I would come back to the course if I return to the area. B average
The course is simple amazing. Completely overbooked tho everytime I go.
Looking at buying....very beautiful spot, looks well maintained
Looking at buying....very beautiful spot, looks well maintained
Very rude, poor service and severely reduced our parties enjoyment and stay. Will not be going back and wouldn't recommend to others. Especially people of colour
It is a beautiful place with excellent greens and well looked after
Great place
Booked a one night stay here for my family. Our 2 bed cottage was up in the newer section of the park and was said to come with bbq, patio set, tv & DVD player. When we arrived we found that whilst we did have a bbq (which is in serious need of a clean) we did not have any patio furniture. I called the office and left a message asking for some to be provided. By 7pm we hadn’t heard anything so I went to the office to check. They guys in the office at that time (I assume just golf course staff) didn’t know how to resolve it but said they would have someone who would, call me. At 8pm they drove up and said we would have a set ASAP. Just after 9 they appeared with 4 ridiculously dusty chairs (there were 5 of us) and a weird box that would be a great table for a cat. The TV provided had legs missing so it wouldn’t stand up and there wasn’t any sockets to actually plug it in. The whole cottage as seriously lacking in sockets - with the master bedroom having none at all. The kids really enjoyed the beach and the newer swimming pool but that’s the best thing I could say. For the price I paid I had much higher expectations of the Resort prior to arriving there.
My family and I had a wonderful experience. The units were clean and equipped with all the appliances you need. I personally enjoyed the tranquility of the place, sipping coffee early in the morning with the wonderful view of rice lake. My brother and his friends enjoyed playing Golf. The splash pad/kiddie pool was also a hit for the kids :) will definitely recommend for families.
Great resort, great golf course, great people like to serve you. If you want to buy a cottage, talk to Austin, a great sales person.
The views of Rice Lake a stunning. A beautiful well maintained course and I have golfed there many times. Unfortunately, recently their limited menu has been reduced to NOTHING. No sandwiches or even hot dogs; they have NO food available. Our lunch last round consisted of a bag of chips. This is unacceptable especially when they are serving alcohol.
Great course. Need some work on the cart paths. Beautiful views of the lake. Well looked after.
Great place to live in the summer, lots to do like golf,go fishing go swiming boating on the lake meet new friends at a camp fire etc.
Very clean location, staff is exceptionally helpful. The new cottages are not completely built, but will be gorgeous place once fully completed. My only concern was the tiny beach. You’re better off just using pools.
Excellent course
Great course with great view!
Fabulous place, has everything you could hope for. You do need to drive to the Rice Lake, but worth it
(Translated) Lakeside golf course, beautiful scenery. (Original) 湖边高尔夫球场,风光秀丽。
nice location with great view. food service is okay
Nice golf course
Great greens and fairways. You won't be disappointed with the many one million dollar views and of course a challenging game golf.
Beautiful view of Rice Lake and the course was challenging although in average condition because the fairways and tees very dry as well as sand traps were more like clay but the greens were in good condition. The cart paths were dusty and rugged, thus we were very dusty at the end of our round. The clubhouse, parking and washrooms were below average.
Nice course. Always in great shape.
The well maintained course with challenging design will not disappoint you. But disappointingly, both times our two foursomes were greeted with little to no hospitality. The course appears to be trying to move to a higher end resort experience. Unfortunately, customer service training is required.
I have been playing this course for over 10 years. The condition of the bunkers and cart paths are the worst I have seen. Bunkers are unplayable and the cart paths are more like atv trails. Shame on the grounds keeper.
Cool cottage resort on Rice Lake with an 18 hole course and somthing for everyone.
We rented a cottage privately for a 3 day weekend with friends, great location, clean and lots of fun. Would definitely recommend
Very good facilities and reasonably priced.
This course has a lot of potential . Be prepared for long waits as it is very busy with more people looking for lost golf balls than I have ever seen . The views across the lake are amazing.
The best value I've ever gotten from a golf course, by far. $45 for 18 holes, including a cart - $35 after 3:00. And yet the course is in better condition, is more scenic, and most importantly is more fun then courses that charge 2-3 times as much.
Enjoyed the course and they have done a commendable job keeping the course in good condition The staff are cordial and supportive . They have experienced a bit of winter kill nothing to impede play. Definitely a deal considering the increased prices being charged due to covid 19. The view is terrific looking out over Rice Lake. Definitely a worthwhile experience.
Very nice and reasonably priced
Course was fun, view was great but the guy who works at the front (Jason?) was awful. Terrible attitude and no people skills what so ever. Highly recommend you avoid any interactions with this guy.
Beautiful place
Very scenic but expensive and slow.
Hundreds of cookie cutter mobile homes (with what looks like another 100 to be built based on the forest area cleared...the one we got was 2.8km to the so called beach. Invidually rented, so it depends on which one you get. Ours had no water...called to have that rectified...then no hot water, ???? and we had to get someone to come fix the air conditioning. Very poor internet reception, if that matters to you. We arrived around 2 p.m. then high tailed it out by 830 the next morning.
Interesting course, beware the higher tech than necessary carts that will stop you from forbidden areas of the course... I'm my case, retracing route for an emergency bathroom stop from hole #13... It was a stop and go experience trying to navigate invisible carry killing zone... Sky Net is upon us! Good golf though!
Exceptional golf course with a fantastic view of Rice Lake
Great location and amazing views. Just love it.
Great place to work
Gem of a gold course. Scenery is 2nd to none in the area.
Challenging course. In great shape.
Amazing resort!!
Great people great course
we looked into owning because of an ad in 4th Line Theatre programme - it said this "resort" was in "muskoka" and on a "pristine lake" - we checked it out - Rice Lake is a shallow, weedy lake. The "cottages" are prefab trailers spitting distance from each other and the beach is TINY...i can only imagine how people share the amenities when all the poor owners are there! #falseadvertising
Summer destination.
Great bang for buck!
Great scenic course. Excellent value as well. Leave the pull cart at home. It is a very hilly course , particularly the front nine and the 18th hole . if they would improve some of the cart paths this could be a premium course.
Try calling to book a tee time, they dont answer the phone. I bought a coupon in January 2021 good only Monday to Thursday expires end of October what a waste of $90 Beware of Underpar coupons for Bellemere Winds
Good condition. Great greens. Awesome lake view
Hi great place to have some fun
Always good!
Great resort
Challenging 18 hole course. Front 9 has many elevation changes and great views over Rice Lake. Back 9 is flatter but still a good test. Greens require a careful read as they are all over the place. Clubhouse is basic trailer with little food choices.
Nice golfcourse
Fun golf course & some challenging holes
First time at Bellmere. Starter was friendly. Course was in excellent shape for late October. Greens were not fast but consistent throughout the round. Would definitely return to Bellmere.
We stayed at this place between June 25 and June 26th. First off, I'd like to say this is one of best place (location wise) to stay in a cottage. Well maintained resort, very clean. Basketball court and pool are a great add-ons. However, I have given only 2 star review due to their pricing policy for renting the cottages. We had two more families staying in different cottages at this place in different cottages. All of us paid the same price for renting the cottage, however, the type of cottage they got and what we got was different. Our cottage didn't have a deck shade and was smaller in size compared to the other two cottages. There were couple of other minor issue not worth mentioning. Unfortunately, it rained for almost the whole time during our stay at the resort and since our cottage didn't have the shaded deck area we had to stay inside the cottage. Not the kind of experience you want to have on a family outing. I brought up the issue with their customer service, they couldn't explain why they charge the same price for cottages that have lesser amenities.
Interesting spot
Best Views in the Kawarthas
Haven't played here in a while and I thought it would be great to make the track there again. I do not know why, but the greens are in extremely poor condition. Quite a few have little green left in them and yellow seems to be the colour that is left. In its current condition, I would not go back and I certainly can not recommend it to others.
Love this amazing cottage always. Fun outdoor activities and Cloe to the lake.
The Golf Course is beautiful! Front nine is challenging, and the back nine is a little easier, with a fantastic view off the tenth hole! The staff is always friendly as well. Great place to golf
Nice "but" tuff course!, you got to be able to place your ball or else, not for beginners. Very picturesque off of Rice lake
I stayed with a friend whom owned a cottage. After my visit I would consider owning a cottage there myself.
Fun place to be
Booked a stay here before the covid started and the weekend was cancelled, the manager said that we could rebook later on, we have prepaid for our weekend stay and now that everything is opened back up i have gotten no response in over a month, we have sent several emails and no response, have left several voicemails and no response. All we want is a reservation for October and we are being ignored!
Absolutely the best!
Friendly reception! Golf course has amazing views and has a very good layout. Will definitley be back!!
Lovely place to spend time with your family. Staff are very nice and helpful.
Really nice course. The view of rice lake is amazing. If you haven't played the golf course since there newer GPS carts it's really cool to go and check them out. Tee blocks could have been more level
Very unpleasant experience invovling every single thing going wrong.
A little crowded but has a lot of nice amenities, especially for children
Good greens and management, patio was sunny and beer cold .
Had an amazing time here earlier in the week , the views are incredible nothing like having the sunrise on the left side of the lake and sunset from the right . The course is a must play , the design and set up is beautiful. The only thing my company and I didnt agree with is how they book cottages to u that dont have cable or wifi , it's the year 2020 nobody should be getting a cottage thst doesnt have either wifi or cable, we came back from our day of golf hoping to relax eat some food have a beer and watch the chiefs football game to our astonishment of not having wifi or cable , the moment we foube that out we all said we wouldnt be back til this has been changed, It should be mandatory that anyone who buys a cottage there should also be providing wifi or cable, hope to whom it concerns reads this and takes it into serious consideration , other then that thank you for allowing my group and I to play such a nice course , cheers
No air conditioning in trailer, being harassed by employees who were cutting the lawn. Pace of play very slow
Great pool and great staff
Excellent golf course, cottage kinda small - but only there to sleep so no issue
This was our 3rd and final stay at Bellmere. The course is in mid to under condition with not one playable bunker. The gentleman in the pro shop was super friendly and accommodating to let us out earlier then out tee time but was over ruled by a totally rude cart guy. Cart guy even said, well he does dictate when carts are ready, which there were plenty. Course was way over booked, we played a 5 hour 18. finished at 3 pm ish and couldn’t get back on for another 9 until 4:30 and after 2 hours we quite having only got in 6 holes. On day 2 we teed off at 9 am, which the same lovely pro shop guy arrange an hour earlier start time for us, he told rude cart guy to let us play….However, after 3.5 hours we gave up and went home only playing 12 holes.. As for the accommodations, we couldn’t get our trailer until 3:30 pm and when we entered it was very warm. So we let the air con do it’s thing and at 5 pm we called to tell them the trailer was at 84 degrees. They replied that the maintenance guys leave at 5..After my insistence they offered another cabin but needed an hour for cleaning…we said we are headed into town for a 730 reservation and we were told we had to be back by 9:15 or we were out of luck. The second cabin was half the size but at least cooler. We got a nice $30 surprise for parking a 2nd vehicle. All and all a rotten experience with the exception of the pro shop guy and the beverage servers…I truly hope for the next golfers that the cart guys employment at Bellmere ends soon.
The Good: Cottages (trailers) are new Easy access to rice lake Newish Facilities The bad: Trailers are extremely close together (about 15' apart) Most lakefront cottages sit on a rocky drop About 50' of sandy beach for 175 cottages One average park size play equipment for 175 cottages One average size backyard pool for 175 cottages Laundry services not yet available Some cottages have wifi, others do not Some staff are awesome, some are clueless Facilities (boats/pool) did not open or close at the posted times Summary: While not a horrible place by any means it is expensive and a bit disorganized. If you went on a busy week/weekend it's gonna be packed! Some fire pits were literally feet from the road. The speed limit is 10km/h but the staff golf carts go about 25km/h so watch the kiddies. The water at the beach is very rocky so bring water shoes. The basketball court/tennis court is really nice but the resort supplied balls were flat so bring your own. I don't regret going but there are other places I'd rather stay for the price.
One of the most disorganized and shoddy operations I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Management doesn’t care. You can tell some of the employees do,but they have no proper direction. They continually block and delete my one star reviews from their personal sites. It’s apparent they can’t handle the truth especially Paul Johnson who has threatened myself and my wife with not allowing us our cottage site for telling the truth and is trying to extort us by telling that if I don’t stop writing truthful reviews we will be dismissed from the resort. As an owner I’ve already had to stop family members and friends from purchasing here, basically I would give them a tour so they can see with their own two eyes the lies and deceit we have received since our arrival last August would never recommend this place to anyone. On the bright side at least they didn’t sell my dock spot to someone whilst I was fishing this week but hey there’s always next week. ????????????????????five thumbs down way down
Hidden gem..fantastic golf course .
We had a coupon,great value
Amazing scenery and definitely a hidden gem golf course
Beautiful yet challenging course, always green and gorgeous
Unable to get information from management. Tried several methods such as email, telephone, and the chat on the website. Good luck on getting service. However if you do, the rest of the reviews look like this place might be fun
Always good
My father owns a cottage here, and the cottage itself is beautiful. There's a nice view and it's great not needing to worry about taking care of the lawn or other chores. We rented a boat, and the driver was kind and fun.
Great course. Comfortable and clean rentals.
Great views
Nice place to bring kids. Pool, playground beach, tennis court, splash pad keeps em busy
The view from the top of the hill is gorgeous! The golf course is very well maintained and i really enjoyed the beach!
Cabins were very nice but the golf course is in horrible conditions. Bunkers literally filled with weeds, cart path was the worst I have experienced. Easily the poorest kept course i have played in decades.
Incredible staff. Golf course beautiful and views are awesome
We have stayed at a few Great Blue Resorts, and this was by far the worst experience. All other resorts were pure bliss. However, Bellemere Winds Golf Resort is in one word a Disaster. We booked for 5 nights. We called and emailed about 100 times in the two weeks leading up, to ask questions etc, and i kid you not, not one call was answered or message returned. We get there, first thing we are told is their phone lines have been down for over 4 weeks, and this lady helping us was specifically hired to fix this phone issue, i can't make this stuff up! What kind of business doesn't have a working phone?!? As we made our way to our cottage we met some of the resort's residents who actually own some cottages and OMG the grumpiness and just unhappiness was strong with these people. While one was telling us how much they regret buying, the other was trying to sell us his.like i said i cant make this up! The 3 bedroom cottage was more like a one bedroom with two closets. No joke, all we could use the "2" rooms for were for clothes so we did that. Upon entering we found the AC didn't work, BBQ didnt work and no hot water. No big deal someone will surely come help us. And so begins the calls and messages again with no return calls or messages. Noone answers the security line, since the office was now closed (check in at 3,office closes at 4?!?!) so night one begins with no way to make food or shower and our cottage at 29 degrees C. My favorite part though was the one boat rental they had for a whole resort of 400+ people. Obviously the Karen of all Karens rents it for a week and never used it once but making sure noone elae can. So much more but ive let this crummy place take too much of my time as it is STAY AWAY
Needs food
No hot water
Did the stay and play. Great deal on underpar. Cottage was great and the golf is fantastic. Views of Rice lake are incredible
i love this course great views of rice lake
We were enticed to see this place given the ads we had read and the outreach they sent to us at our request...do not feel pressured to sign...there is lots of time....if for your family, like ours, this would be a big decision and use up your vacation budget for 20 years!! We have learned from friends that kids get bored of the same place and same opportunities pretty quick and after seeing how crammed in the trailers are to each other and the lack of privacy this creates we have opted for booking at different places each summer....giving us more variety for so much cheaper that we can afford a sunny winter get away too! good luck - make sure it is what you want because what you see is what you get there and it ain't enough for what they are charging and locking people into, in our opinion.
The golf course is beautiful and slick with panoramic landscape. However, it was not easy to breathe because there was too much dust. because .pathway is not paved . staffs are very friendly. pace of play very slow . this was 1 night 2 days deal..price is fair enough. we are #of 4 couples and use 2 units. 1 units is 2 bed & 1 shower. we were shocked when i go to washrooms . there was no toilet paper at all. and not much kichen wear also. so we went to another units to borrow toilet paper to use this unit. this address is ....34 THE POINT DRIVE.IN Bellmere winds. I hardly not recommend to this unit to my friends. and another units we got address is.. 19 THE POINT DRIVE.Bellmere winds. 3 beds and 2 washroom. both have extra of toilet paper rolls. I must say.. excellent excellent !!!!! living room and kitchen open concept I must give six stars if there is any.. in the kitchen ware . have lot of things than we expect. nice smell and neat . even all every corner box of kleenex tissue paper.... I don't know who the owner of this unit is, but I could tell warmhearted and caring person was trapped. but only one thing to must to do. please check gas tank out side. for heating and gas range to use. at night time temperature drop down to 16 degrees. it was too cold. because run out gas for heating ..middle of september is cold night. need heating ..we are all seniors to fight to coldness. It was very difficult to fight the cold and couldn't sleep at all. I think owner made mistake not on purpose .. next time when I go there again I do rather rental 19 THE POINT DRIVE home again.. good luck..!!!
Just played a round for the first time with my two sons. This is an amazing and challenging golf course with spectacular views of Rice Lake. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This course ranks up there with some of the more expensive courses in the GTA for a fraction of the price. I look forward to playing many more rounds.
BBQ doesn't work I haven't got a response about what they are going to do about it when you rent a cottage you expect a Working BBQ I'm upset I stopped by heat office at 10am I still don't know if we well have one for today it is now 1125am
Busy
Love this place
Awful
Golf course is amazing, well kept and staff are very friendly.
I was fairly disgusted this past Sunday morning when we went to the cart that was assigned to us, there was a pair of mens underware sitting in the seat . We were the first people that day to use that card so it obviously was not clean from the night before. Every time I go there it's always something I've spoken to the manager and he just doesn't seem to care about anything always excuse after excuse. I can honestly say if I did not have family in the resort set the golf courses in I would never in my life ever go there again.
Ok
Good course
Great place to golf! Accommodations were good (it was a trailer) had everything we needed. I would return again.
Course is in very good condition already considering the delay with Covid-19 they have done a great job. Each person playing is required to take their own golf cart unless they live in the same household. Staff were excellent at relaying their rules, and providing a pleasant day on the course. A beverage cart was available on the course.
Tough, long course. Fairways and greens were ok but tees and especially cart paths were abysmal. Had to wait 40 mins past our scheduled tee time due to lack of carts. They smirked when we refused to share carts due to covid. Not impressed.
Golfer's paradise!
Went & saw this place yesterday and loved it so much that we bought a cottage there! The golf course is incredible and the view is breath taking! Golf course & the resort is extremely well maintained..Cottages are perfect and all the amenities make this place very pleasurable to be stay at. Something for the whole family at this resort
Tough course, quality has gone down a bit from before the resort was there, but beautiful views and layout . Tons of fescue and wind, expect a long day and some lost balls, can be very rewarding if you're straight
Very nice course and tight. Few more signs would be nice for the new people on the course.
Always in great shape. Always great views. Always cold beer. Great place to play. Can get tough on a windy day, but well worth it. Worth the drive if your not from the area. I've played this course many times and will continue to play for years to come.
Great place to golf
The resort was nice but little overpriced, and the water was a bit far away. But still an amazing cottage
Not a bad track but to expensive for what it is, bunkers were unplayable.

Either there closed or they dont answer the phones 3 different times.
Way overpriced, $101 dollars with cart. Greens are in poor condition, for this price they should be in better shape. Positives, you probably won't find a more scenic course.
Live it here .. so beautiful
Nice course, plays well with some nice scenic views of rice lake. BUT if you are not able to land and stay in the fairway or first cut, chances are you will drop another ball. Fescue is a big hazard here.
Truly a hidden gem! We have been visiting this resort for the past 5 years and conitinue to have a great time. Golf course is in great shape and has great views of Rice Lake.
