Excellent facilities, great conditions. Quite a few scenic views that will only get better as the fall colors come in. Greens roll very well. The staff is exceptional at managing a very busy workload (especially Alexa and Sarah) Look forward to playing again.

This summer is my first in retirement so I decided to join a golf course. I had many choices but decided to investigate Vespra Hills as a recommendation of my son who knew Kenny Dye the Director of Golf. What an easy decision it was after meeting with Kenny and his staff. I didn't know a soul but soon met a few of the members and after joining the men's night getting hooked up for a game was easy and feeling a part of the course didn't take long at all. The course itself is amazing. The condition of the greens and fairways is as good as it gets. The only knock I had on the course was the condition of some of the traps. That will soon be short lived as they are spending a great deal of time and expense on addressing this. I have never heard one complaint about t-off times ( not being able to get the time you wanted ) or about slow play. I would put the dining experience at Vespra up against any of the 'fine dining' establishments in the area. With the membership being maxed out ( because of all the reasons I just cited ) I assume now there is a waiting list to join which speaks volumes for this establishment.

I don't mind this course, not the best in architectural design but it was was in good shape. Website states, 'We believe golf should be affordable". However, not the case, The Nest, Cobble Beach, and Oak Bay are far superior and are definitely more 'affordable. Think twice. It's not the best of value for architectural design.

I played this course as part of an "Open House" shortly after it opened and wasn't overly impressed. Before starting my round, I felt like I was an unwanted guest at a private club. The rest of the day didn't get any better. As an avid golfer, I wasn't excited about their setup of the membership package either. I was invited back last year by a member and I am glad that I gave it another chance. The customer service was great all day! The driving range and practice area are in excellent condition. We played a very challenging nine holes that weave around the valley followed by a much easier nine on the other side of the property. I didn't play very well, but enjoyed the variety. We saw other golfers regularly, but still managed to easily in less than 4 hours. After the round, we had lunch and a drink on the patio overlooking the golf course and surrounding area. What a view! I've been told that many of the positive changes came with the new Head Pro, Kenny Dye. Keep up the great work!

My daughter decided to get married just before Christmas, during CoVid! Sarah, Chef David and all of the staff went to enormous strides to put her wedding together in 3 weeks! It was a wedding that dreams are made of and Sarah, the wedding planner at Vespra Hills, made it appear seamless and elegant. A warm environment where everyone was made to feel special and welcome. I would highly recommend the location, the food, the staff and the pricing. Thank you so much to everyone. Our guests are still raving about it!

I may be the only member that has joined the club twice (and paid the initiation fee twice!) I joined Vespra Hills when it first opened in its maiden year, it didn't even have a club house back then and it had only two nines. A few years later I quit to join National Pines because it became a private Club Link course and I couldn't imagine never playing National Pines again. What a mistake. A few years later I quit Club Link and re-joined Vespra Hills. Vespra has matured into the best kept secret in Simcoe County. The three nines are always in amazing shape, the practice area is second to none, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. And what a beautiful clubhouse! The club is fully private but without feeling pretentious. For many years I never called ahead for a tee-off time because the course wasn't too busy and I could just walk on. I recently heard that our membership is full now and there is a waiting list to get in. I guess the secret is out - congratulations Cinder and Vespra!

I have been playing at Vespra Hills for almost 10 years and a member for 2 now and as long as I am in Barrie, it will be my club of choice! 27 holes makes getting a tee time very easy and pace of play is never an issue! Course is always in great shape, the staff are always very nice and the beers are always ice cold. 10/10
