At the moment the firm gets a rating of 4 over 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an reviews average is good, and it's founded on a large number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to place reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is classified in the category of Golf course.
Friendly staff but the layout of the course is terrible. No beverage cart on a day that topped 40 degrees C with the humid ex.
Layout of the course is ok...sand traps are more like clay traps on a dry day and like a pond/mud trap when it rains or has rained in the past 1-10 hours...the majority of the tee boxes needs a lot of work [elevated and leveled out] as does the club house. You can shoot a really low score as the par 5's really play like par 4's and a few of the par 4's are drivable. Also the island green on the front [hole # 4 is a real treat]. While Management has been promising to improve the negative areas for the past three years, nothing has been done so far. Staff are friendly, but a high turnover rate....to play a one off round with friends is value for money especially when you have no expectations and a vigilant official [seldom] that ensures proper pacing. Make sure you warm up before going to the course as there are no driving range and the putting area is way too small. However if you intend to negotiate a membership, compare prices with Cardinal Golf course...you may conclude that rates else-where are far more competitive and what appears to be reasonable, is in fact not quite so. While this gold course has the potential to be a real jewel for that geographic area...management needs to share that vision. 3 stars really is a D.
Was looking forward to my first round of the season at Innisfil Creek but Mother Nature had other plans. I will be back though
Good value. Short course. Twilight is cheap. Still have to make your shots on small greens.
Probably the best grass i have played on all year, beautiful layout and a pretty challenging course. Best value i've experienced golfing in/around the GTA and Toronto, coming back again soon
Clean groomed grounds and clean washrooms. Food is limiting especially for the beautiful gold course it is. They would definitely benefit from new menu items. We had a great day of golf
I am recently retired and use the sport of golf to get in my exercise. At first I was a bit hesitant to golf at this course as I feared the noise of the 400 highway would be distracting. As I got out of my car and walked towards the clubhouse the noise dwindled to be barely noticeable other than the odd loud truck. I walked the full course and once I got past the first hole I never heard the sound of the highway.
surprised at how nice it was...I went there a long time ago and it has changed significantly for the better. we'll definitely be going back...
Good
For the price, the track can’t be beat! The pace was a little slow, but not like others where you wait and wait and wait every hole. Greens were awesome. Fairways were a touch wet due to fall dew point, out of their control. Rough was very playable. A completely enjoyable round of golf to be had each time here!
The course was very nice. Had been a few years since last time I played. 200% improvement. Was very enjoyable.
Good price
Great round of golf at a fabulous and well kept course. Ideal for beginners to experienced players. Staff is constantly working on course to keep it in tip top condition. Can't wait for my next round
Great course
I had a lot of fun at this course.
I have recently played three courses in the Barrie area (Bear Creek, Innisfil Creek and Innisbrook). I currently live in Vaughn but will be moving to this area in September. I'm an avid golfer and thought I would write a review for each course hoping to get some responses from members/public players to help make my decision. Obviously my review is on one round of golf at the course. This is my second course to have played in the area. I played this weekend on Saturday. I have seen the course from the highway and was quite disappointed. The proshop is in a tent structure which didn't bother me as its well kept inside. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The fee was reasonable but without expectations due to lack of experience playing this course. From here it went a bit down hill. We got a cart that struggled the whole round and was extremely slow. The course has a neat layout with different yardages that allow for different options off the tee. The fairways were well kept and the greens rolled good. However there are a few greens with burn marks from what appears to be hydraulic leaking and one with a butchered patch job. Bunkers were flat out embarrassing. 70% of which were filled with weeds and one that was incomplete and filled with water. I started to feel like the reasonable price was actually a rip off. I did read reviews from over a year ago expressing the same concerns and thought it would be cleared up. This was not the case and the management of this course need to take a different direction on their focus. I give the course a " B" for layout and a "D" for how its maintained. I give the food an "A" as I had a decent western in the morning and it was fresh. I would likely not play the course again without a substantial discount to green fee
Nice course, looked great considering the heat we have been having. Paid only $42 for two with cart found on GolfNow app very pleasant people , had a really good time
Nicely kept course.
Price and course condition are on point and worthy of a 4 star, overall though a few things were missing for me. With only 12-15 groups there today for some reason they needed a marshal and a starter. However no beverage cart person, club house had a lackluster selection of snacks but will re-grip your clubs(also I thought it was funny they have no chips because owner doesn't like them). All in all if you don't expect much other than the golf it's not a bad place. Shorter than average and not overly challenging it's good for beginners.
The course, and the amenities are in great and excellent condition But I suck!!!
Good
Great walking course, challenging narrow fairways and small greens make accurate shots a must. Very welcoming staff, good pace of play.
Great place always in good shape and a pleasure to play
The course has matured nicely. Some aspects missing that could make it a 5 star. Slope is pretty accurate but too high for the cost and caliber of most golfers. I played many courses similar in Hilton Head where this track would fit in nicely. This isn't Hilton Head island. More yardage markers, better trimming of brush areas around greens would help players enjoy the game more. I usually lose 1 or 2 balls. I lost 8 today and my partner the same. Zero forgiveness along fairways, stay in play or else. Inconsistent tees. Some were perfect, a couple we needed a hammer to set the tee. Fairways were equally great and not so great but overall good condition. As I mentioned, off fairway and it's trouble. Greens were good and bad. Hard to read due to long grass and not in the best of shape. It was like there was a tournament the day before! Clubhouse upgrade such as showers and proper washrooms would likely add a few golfers. This wasn't impressive or suitable to the course. I'll be back, knowing the course is crucial with so many hidden approaches.
Great course for the money.
Nice golf course. The course is in good condition. Lots of water and well placed traps so bring some extra balls!
Nice course ,good price and friendly staff ,Have play there with wife and friends and we had fun and also good food service. Thank you
Lovely course in great condition. Played here while on vacation from the UK.
Nice place
Hands down best value course around. Course is always in good shape. Great location. Staff always friendly.
We drove from King City area as my friend lives in Barrie. We played the weekend of August 9th, 2013. - The greens rolled ok but had some died and dying areas that need repair. Need proper flag indicators! Either colored flags or mins pin sliders -The clubhouse is a tent definately not appealing! - Staff were nice. - Bunkers were terrible! the some had no sand and lots of weeds. Others are filled with what appears to be beach sand and impossible to hit out of. - We decided to go elsewhere for lunch as the kitchen options were minimal so I cant speak to the food. - The course felt crowded as tee times were to close together. I have played many courses in the Barrie area and this one is one of the lower end courses on the area. Its cheaper to play which makes it appealing but as an experienced golfer I'm seeking a better experience.
The course is in great shape and the employees very accommodating. My partner was an hour late due to horrendous traffic on Hwy#400. The young man in the starters booth said not to worry and worked us in no problem.
Picked the warmest day of spring at the end of April on a beautiful sunny day to play. Figuring I’d be a bit rusty since I last played, thought I’d do 9 holes. I was talked into upgrading to 18 to get a free round in the future. Thought it was a great deal until I finished the first hole and my shoes were soaked through because the course was so wet. Oh well, I thought, maybe it’s a low spot on the course and continued to play. However it got worse and by the time I finished the 5th hole, my feet were even more wet (if that’s possible) and the bottom of my pants were spotted with mud. Almost every 2nd shot landed deep into the wet grass making it difficult to shoot out of. The 8th hole was like walking thru a shallow swamp it was so wet. By the time I was done the 9th, I’d had enough. In my opinion, I don’t believe a golf course should be open before the conditions are good for play, or at least warn people that it’s very wet and that they should probably wear rubber boots to play because you’ll ruin your shoes. :0
Challenging Holes with various distances. Lots of water hazards to avoid. The layout is a little confusing as there are several holes where you tee off and then must come all the way back to the sane tee area for the next hole's tee off.
Nice
Beautiful course. A great challenge between friends
Had a great round yesterday. Can't believe how nice the tee boxes are and the fairway greens are great! Looking forward to next week!
I recently played this course with some friends. overall condition of the course was ok. greens rolled nice except for what looked like some burn marks from oil??. couple of the greens had dead areas which need to be repaired. Not impressed with bunkers at all. More then half of the bunkers were unplayable with rocks, weeds, and no sand. The bunkers that did have sand were very hard to play out of as it was deep and like beach sand. course seemed to be dried out and needed water. very open are course with very little trees. Did not see a beverage cart at all and it was very hot and humid. would suggest having water jugs for players on the course as its very open to the sun and humidity. Staff was very friendly no issues there, but no clubhouse (basically a tent) or much to offer with food. This course definitely has a lot of potential and its tough and has a decent layout other than a few holes having to walk backwards. Fix up those problems with the bunkers and greens, build a clubhouse, have water on the course and perhaps have seed for the tee blocks and you will see a major difference
Very narrow course that is not maintained all that well. Customer service was good except for the supervisor/marshall who was very rude and continuously followed us the whole course forcing us to keep moving. Would not recommend this course
Short course but challenging if you cant keep it straight. Course conditions are above average but not amazing.
Great course. Reasonable priced
My husband and I golfed at Innisfil Creek Golf Club when we went to visit our friends who live out that way. Our foursome was composed of golfers of varying skills, myself being a beginner, and I found the course was suitable for all of us. The course was easy to navigate and for the more experienced golfers there were some challenging holes too. The golf course was very well kept, the clubhouse was clean and staff were friendly. The beer cart girls provided fabulous service too. We can’t golf without ice cold beer so that is a must for us! It was nice to check out the Innisfil Creek Golf Club and we definitely plan to golf here again.
Beautiful course
The course is tight, especially the front 9. Water hazards and bunkers are NOT scarce, and there are also "natural" areas to watch out for. Greens are on the small side. Course conditions were quite good and the property is well maintained. The layout is odd for the first 6 holes, after which it's a good layout, albeit short. Find a deal, and it's good value for the money.
Had a mini tournament here saturday all the guys and girls here were awesome to deal with would play again!
Convenient and clean
I have been playing this course for 8 years now. The entire golf staff has treated our group with the utmost of professionalism. Over the 8 years, the course has matured, the greens have become some of the best in the area, and as much as it is not a long track, it takes a deft touch to put the ball in the hole. Under new ownership, the changes have been noticeable over the years. There was a time where I, and my playing partner, would travel around to play. In the last 5 years, this has been our go to spot. Admittedly, the track takes on water in the shoulder seasons, as will every course. Regardless, if you are willing to play in April/May, be prepared to take on some water yourself. If you have not played this course, it is a must. From Owner, to Pro Shop, to back shop, to course staff, and the maintenance crew, well done. As long as I can pull the trigger, I will be playing here. Thank you to all.
Short but quite beautiful and well maintained. I was surprised how little highway noise there was. Good price for walkers but 40 bucks for a shared cart it incredibly excessive.
Excellent and challenging course not all long holes, some short par 4's but you have to sometimes keep the driver in the bag... course is in great shape and I have played this course a few times and I shall be returning
Just FANTASTIC shape. As always. Brilliant. Glad I left work early. Trim the tee boxes a wee bit would be a big + tho. ????????
Great but challenging course and a confusing layout otherwise a good course to play
I almost want to give this place an extra low rating to keep people away! But honestly the price is very good and the course is walkable for any age range. It does advertise ad a premium course but it isn't to that level that's why the 3 star rating. If it advertised more to what it is it would have 4 stars. It's a shorter course par 71. The front 9 is in great condition wide variety to play to any skill level and can be challenging and fun for all skill levels. The greens were consistent and the people were friendly. The back 9 is not as well kept. It's a boring back 9. Nothing special nothing really different. For what the course is It's worth checking out. Friendly staff and always a good day of golf. The course is far enough out of towns to be less busy than most courses.
I went to this course last year with my 2 other friends. It wasn’t until the 3rd hole when my friends & I were deciding which club to use on the hole when one of the employees came over to us and told us that we can’t be taking ‘selfie’s’ out there and if we wanted to golf we could stay? We were all extremely confused by his comments as we were doing the exact opposite & just out there golfing. If I could give them 0 stars I would but ladies avoid this misogynistic place clearly female golfers aren’t welcome..
Coarse was in great shape. Challenging but fair layout. A great day of golf.
Course a little wet after heavy rian, but layout is good. will go back and play again.
Most confusing course ive ever been too . So many paths and zero signs or direction anywhere . Wont be coming back . Try putting up more signs on the million paths you have here holy actual &$#@ .
Got my gloves and clothes ruined with their pesticide spraying throughout the course during our round. I don't know when they're not spraying this blue stuff but best avoid for health.
Poor course layout, very choppy greens, and all of that could have been overlooked if the Marshall had some sort of decency. We were rushed between holes and when the Marshall told a group to go ahead of us we then had to wait behind a group of 4 for 15 minutes each Hole. We will not be back, worst course in Barrie and area.
Course is just too small. Front 9 is rammed together and you’d be lucky to not hear a fore call on every hole on the front. Back 9 is much better but that start to the round really is hard to get over
First time this year that I have gone to innisfil Creek. The fairways and greens are in great condition nice and lush areas around. It was beautiful to look at and play on
This is truly a hidden gem!! The staff were friendly and provided great service…you haven’t seen the last of me Innisfil Creek!!
Modest 18 hole course north of the city. Tuesday they offer a great rate.
The course itself was great, you can tell there is a lot of work put into the greens, fairway and even the rough just beyond the fairway as the grass was cut perfectly making for an enjoyable golf experience. I would have rated my experience a 5 but the the starter managing everyone’s initial tee off was Grouchy and RUDE which actually through us off on our first two holes as we were a little taken back with his attitude, needless to say if it wasn’t for the well kept course my rating would have dropped to a 2. Anyway, if you’re looking for a great place to golf Innisfil Creek is a great spot, just ignore the guy who starts you off.
Definitely one of the better courses in the GTA. The service was great, the staff friendly, and the course layout fun without being frustrating. There are just enough hazards to keep vets interested, but not so many that novices (ie my nephew - he still swings like he'd holding a baseball bat) are put off. Innisfil doesn't break the bank, either, which is a big plus for golfers on a budget. Highly recommended for local or out-of-town golfers.
First time here with 2 other friends, a few holes feel compact as they are close enough to others but it flushes out on both sides. Some extra signs might help as it has a old school feel to the set up but the course plays nice and the staff were top notch. Definitely going back next season
Golfing here is also great. Course is in good condition, and staff ia friendly
The course is not that long but a good course. Quite a few holes water hazards comes into play. Greens are in good condition and the best thing is price is always right. Got 3 birdies theses season. Would play there again soon.
Greens and fairways are in excellent shape. You do have to be very accurate with your drives hense that is why I choose irons to keep my ball in play. I love the challenge that this course provides. Kudos to all the maintenance staff.
Course marshall is a joke. They need to book tee times properly.
Have played this course many times in the past couple of years and have had an amazing experience every time. The golf course is a real treat and offers many fun and rewarding holes. The indoor and outdoor staff were all very kind and provided very good service from when I entered the golf course and left. I very much recommend taking the time to play this golf course as it is very accessible as its just off the 400! Can't wait to play for years to come!
Was pretty good, the boxes are poorly taken care of and Marshall has no control of players. Waited to long to see off
Friendly staff. Course was challenging and well maintained. I'll go back
5 and a half hour round on a Saturday in September.... Yikes! Lots of greens and fairway in need of repair. I wouldn't go back.
It was a great course
Beautiful golf course and very friendly
Course is a bit underwhelming considering the cost. Marshall kept hounding us to speed up ruining our experience. Lacks proper signage to next hole, as the tees are not placed intuitively. Wouldn't recommend for players with higher handicap or groups of four.
Had heard some really good reviews on the course so decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint. Course is in great shape; fairways, greens, tee decks. Challenging but fair. Friendly staff. As a first timer it was a bit of a challenge sometimes to find a few holes (had to double back) but again, staff was helpful. Lots of water, which I don't mind at all, just need to plan your shots accordingly. Definitely will be back!
If you are a novice I suggest not going here. The Marshall will push you, follow you, and give you the stare if you are slow. In our case he yelled at us because we decided to take a few extra shots.
Pro shop girl rushed us off the course way before dark. Also chased us into the parking lot to rush to grab our cart so she and the back shop guy could go home. Very unprofessional.
Nice little course. Could use a map showing hazards and water or GPS in the carts.. Played Blue tees, and had many shots finding trouble. I played with a member who told me I was safe, but balls went to far, and often were gone.
Great coarse awesome staff, toch wet at times but coarse is real gem, would suggest better signage for whole direction for 1st timers, this was my second time playing and enjoyed it.also if construction is still present for anyone reading this coarse can not be accessed at 89 and 400 you have too access off of 10 and second line.
Played our first Ladies day Thursday. Course in great shape! Fairways well groomed and greens good for this time of year! Wonderful course!
1st time playing here we had a good time. Friendly and informative at reception. Course in nice shape, greens got quick as they dried out. Pace of play was good. The creek that meanders through the course adds a challenge in shot making.
staff at the entrance and starters and cart girl were great pace a play very slow 4 groups at one tee box not acceptable telling the marshal about slow pace did nothing but get comment form him that group holding everyone cannot hit the ball very far and drove right pass us not talking to group in front about their place of play bring my complaint to club house and talking to a gentlemen i believe his name was Chris seem not to concern about my complaint i told me that marshal talk them which i correct him told he just driving past us for my first experience at this golf course was disappointment
My favorite place to golf.
Nice golf course to go for a round with friends
