Our company Christmas party ???? was hosted here! Great time, nice place, clean, the female bartender for our event wasn't great, unfriendly, kinda rude, sucks to be her I guess. Doesn't matter, the prime rib dinner was memorable, great presentation. ????

Beautiful modern building with high ceilings. Large conference and dining rooms, good food, courteous staff. Great parking and spectacular balcony with stunning vistas of the golf course and surrounding wood lands. Outstanding spot for conferences and training sessions.

This is a beautiful venue. Staff is friendly, and they are helpful. The included AV systems kind of suck, if you’re planning a conference, bring your own sound board and projector system.

This is a private golf course, but if you're lucky enough to be able to play, you'll thoroughly enjoy. Sand traps are nice to hit out of, and the greens are fast and flowy.

Went there for a meeting, I had to pay for, and we were crammed in on very uncomfortable chairs, like little bistro chairs, to fit 10 to a table. I was so uncomfortable I did not enjoy my experience. I Would not pay to go there again, I'll watch the webinar from my desk next time .

Had a function there the other day. Probably the worst food I've ever eaten, and I'm not a picky guy! All I ordered was a BLT with onion rings. Didn't get the rings, got half cooked fries instead. The BLT was greasy on the outside (?!) and was full of black lettuce! I was offered a coffee after eating (which IS great service, thank you), however, said coffee had grounds in it and was obviously burnt. When golfing, the club house is rather important to me. As I spend time there before/after my game. I was honestly looking at getting a membership. But I can say, without a doubt, that will NOT be happening now!! (Side note, this is one story of 2. My other experience was just as awful.)

A hidden gem as it is a private course. Despite the dry time of year Barrie G&CC was in top form. A shot makers course that makes any golfer use every club in there bag. Great 18th patio for 19th hole pints as well.

We were married on October 28, 2017 at the Barrie Country Club. Everyone at the BCC were very professional and personable. Each player had a part in making our day absolutely perfect! From Christine’s personal touches and attention to detail, to the prompt and friendly servers and attendants to Winston’s exquisite food, not to mention the spectacular view! Ourselves and our guests were beyond pleased! It was truly a fabulous event! They definitely helped make it memorable and problem-free!

The cream of the crop for golf clubs in Barrie. Staff are amazing, the grounds are pristine, and the amenities are top if the line. While a bit pricey for the average golfer, still very much worth it to save up for a round.

We got married here in August, and it was the most perfect venue. Christine, the Coordinator, literally thinks of everything. On the day of, they had a water station and brought snacks out for us and the photographers, after the Ceremony, while taking more pictures. This did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. You went above and beyond. The day turned out perfect and we were so pleased with your services. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We rented this venue for a private function. The grounds are gorgeous and the banquet hall includes a large terrace which overlooks the golf course. The staff were very polite, helpful and attentive. It was a great experience, and we'll definitely be looking at this venue for future events

My club. Great course, food , service, pro, and facility and staff. Still can't stand ranger marshals who have no place on a course of this caliber. The members are particularly friendly, which is good if you are looking to relax. I love this place. Hope to be able to play here for a long time.

Uggg...ate their last nite feb 2/18) and it was not a good experience for the first time. The waitresses first off did not know the menu very well. To order wine, we went thru three people to get it right. Ordered soup and steak. The soup had no substance, by that I mean, almost the watered down taste. The steak was only warm. And after it was dropped off at our table, by another server, we never saw our waitress for 40 minutes!! The potatoes were too hard, and I would have loved some butter. No server!!! Then all the empty for plates sat in front of us for 15 minutes. I finally grabbed another waiter and directed them to take the plates. Amazing!! $247.00 later, I am anxious to get out of there. Bac to the keg for us. Never go wrong there. I tipped 10.00 last nite, and I'm mad at myself for tipping even that much. I think this restaurant is best to stay with finger foods. Or at least hire someone that knows the ins and outs of fine dining. If your going to charge,.... You have to deliver!!!

Was a guest for dinner last night. Was so looking forward to it. Extremely disappointed with the food. Soup was 5 star. Steak very tough , potatoes were raw and cold, butter should have melted didn't. "Wild carrots" could not be cut with a knife so hard. 5 star setting 1 star food

**Updated** Ok, so our wedding isn't until next weekend and I'll update after with pictures but I needed to say they have been amazing thus far! The food is so good, the staff is always polite and we have never gone more than a few minutes without staff checking if we've been served or helped. The venue is gorgeous, the only season I haven't seen it in person for so far is summer. Gonna shout out Daniela in the events department for her great customer service and overall manner. She has been a pleasure to work with. Update! Everything was gorgeous. The staff was impeccable. Sandi, the head bartender, and Jason, the head server, were excellent, friendly but professional at the same time. Daniela kept us updated, ensured that during the cocktail hour while we did our photos that the wedding party still for appetizers and helped make our day a great time for everyone. Maralea, took over upon Daniela's leave to go home and she was just as lovely to work with. I would absolutely 100% recommend the Barrie Country Club to anyone with an event coming up.

Room was packed. It felt as though too many people were seated at the tables. Chairs were cane and very unstable. One chair even broke sending a gentleman crashing to the ground. Very disappointed as this venue normally delivers exceptional service, food and decor.
