Three parts to my review: my thoughts on the value of the program, the service itself, and the support. I was a user of VIP in 2021 and will not be renewing next year. Value of the program - okay. You need to pay $500 up-front, and savings can range from small to large. You need to golf a lot to save the $500 you spent up front. At that point, you might be better purchasing a membership to a club (that was the case for me). Service itself - quite janky. You have to book a time at the golf course you want to play and on the app. If you forget to book/change one or the other you are hooped. Each course has different requirements so it's really a pain to manage. Support - I found them quite cold. You can't make a number of changes in the application which forces you to call their call center. They do answer promptly, but found them unapologetic in their help (i.e. sorry, but you need to pay $50 for the round you missed).

Probably the best discount program around, it’s saved me tons this year. It would be nice to see winter savings from indoor golf simulators added. The only complaint I have is that you usually have to phone the courses for a tee time.

Have had this card for the past 5 or 6 yrs. It saves me tons of money as I use it every Saturday and Sunday. Nice to golf the nicer courses at a reduced rate. Have never had a problem with admin regarding cancellation, rain out or booking another round the same day, they have always been nothing but helpful and courteous.

Terrible customer service, and no refunds when it rains or tee time is cancelled outside of your control.

Been with VIP for over 10 years. Recently had to cancel a reservation for a mountain course with pretty strict cancellation rules. VIP was great and were able to help us out. Have golfed alot this year and VIP has saved me a boatload of money.

Unless you strictly golf prime time Saturday/Sunday, do NOT get VIP. You cant get rain checks, cant cancel your tee time after 530 the day before. And if your golfing after work on the weekdays, the twilight rate most courses give is the exact same price you pay on VIP, the only difference is if you dont feel like going you can actually cancel. ITS A BAD DEAL - WASTE OF MONEY
