Decent golf course for the area. I think Barrhead is a bit nicer (greener, better challenge), and both have an RV park, but Westlock's is pretty sparse (no trees) and Barrhead's RV park is really green and more space between spots. Downside is that it's a bit of a drive from Westlock.

What a gem! Can't say our day could have been better. Course offers some wonderful holes, both on the older 9 and the newer holes. Pros: - tees and greens were immaculate. -Sandwich at the turn was incredible, and for the price of a hot dog at most courses. -Range is fabulous. Grass tees. Free warm up bucket. - Fun little bridges all over. One Swilican bridge clone. - Brand new clubhouse. Seemed perfect. Cons: - some weeds on the fairways and rough. Can't expect perfection in my view. All in all we had a great day. Super friendly staff at the proshop desk, food counter, and on the beverage cart. Thanks to the management for doing a great job.

Good and fun course. Stay clear of sand traps they can be hard, looks like they are trying to make them better. Some long standing members can be rude and entitled. Lots of players do no fix ball marks unfortunately, some members some not. Making steps to have cart paths through out the whole course. Course is gorgeous and challenging. Doesn't always feel like you're hitting the same shot over and over. Really good quality for the dollar. Limited signage but hadn't had an issue of knowing where to go. July 2021 New club house fully open. Kitchen is open, has fantastic food and staff.

While visiting family in the area, we decided to hit the front nine of this course. We were very impressed with the well-maintained and varied links! There are a variety of levels to the course, with a few tee boxes that are raised several feet above, creeks running through certain holes, and a great balance of sand traps and other water features. Green fees are very reasonable and easily booked online; we had to make a change to our tee time because of the weather and the staff was extremely accommodating. At the time of our visit in August 2020, the course was quite wet, with some impromptu water features in several spots. Power carts were not allowed that day due to the recent rain, so check ahead if you’re counting on one. Although we visited on a Saturday, it wasn’t very busy, so we enjoyed taking our time through this beautiful course.

Staff was extremely rude. I am not an experienced golfer and they shamed me for taking longer than most. Drove 2 hours to play here and was most unimpressed by the sheer disrespect of the staff. This place will certainly never see my money again.

After driving 2 hours to westlock they rushed us before we even played a hole because we were the only people golfing at 4:30 and they wanted to go home early. Golfing is expensive and I do it to relax and have fun, neither of wich I experienced at Westlock.

This course seems to get a bad rap for the customer service side but I've had nothing but good experiences here. The course is in great condition this season, one of the carts I was driving had a ball joint failure and they didn't accuse me of anything, they just brought the cart out and replaced it. Very challenging and great conditions at this time.

Great little golf course. Worth trying out. "Typical" prairie golf course (a) old nine and (b) new nine. Challenging: you need to be straight. Greens: pretty good for early season golfing and they are "guarded" (sand and water!!). Signage: a wee bit off. As someone else mentioned it is not crystal clear the direction to the next tee box (a pretty easy fix folks). The hole signs on the tee boxes (a great number of them) are on the wrong side of the tee box!? A couple of small and easy fixes. Worth the trip. Pricing if fair. Did I mention there was water.............

Course was very beautiful. On hole 10 there are no signs to say which way to take your cart. I went left because my ball was on the left side of the green. I then heard someone yelling and screaming and swearing at me. This employee used very vulgar language and said very hurtful things. I have never played on this course before so I had no clue which way to go. I do not like being treated with such disrespect. All employees need to work on customer service skills. And maybe higher management needs to take a closer look at who they are allowing to run the course. Absolutely disappointed by this and I will not be returning to this course. Especially when I paid 65$ to play 18 and I didn’t even get to finish hole 10.
