First off, wow, what a pleasant surprise though it shouldn't have been with how many people have started it as of late. Truly friendly staff and everyone we met that had a lot, seemed to be more then happy to tell you about there "happy place". Course is in my books a championship lay out with fun tee shots, demanding approaches and super interesting greens. About 40% of the greens on the back suffered winter kill, shaggy mixed with sand makes for jumpy putts, having said that, the rest were rolling beautiful. This course like all new courses is going to be spectacular after a couple years of maturing, it will feel far removed from the bustle of the city with the only noise coming from the smiles and laughter of the residents:) Well done Trestle!

It's about the journey

Most may not know this but they have stay and play packages available on lots that have not sold yet. We went for a week and had a great time. The water park was unreal, golf was spectacular and the restaurant was great. You should check it out, your kids would love it. Only downside was wifi was terrible.

We were recommended to go to this Resort and am I ever glad we listened. Service was incredible. Ask for Blair, he was so kind and Respectful. Fun and encouraging for average golfers at a beautiful place. Greens were in meticulous shape. Every hole was different. Golf carts have videoGPS to help you stay through course. Food was incredible!!! Hands down will be our new favorite.

One my favorite courses in the GEA. The staff are great and the restaurant is really good as well. Fantastic deal for seniors Mon to Thurs. If you haven't yet, ya gotta play Trestle Creek.

The course was not what I was expecting for the price we had to pay. The snack shack was overcrowded & understaffed. The grass driving range was dirt. The greens had so many divots it was like playing Plinco & the carts had GPS I think they never did work. We we're charged $82 for 18 and cart Cougar Creek $75 It will be Cougar Creek from now on.

I've driven by many times but first time staying here Simply put this place is really awesome Lots of well serviced lots in nice locations The golf courses I have not tried but freinds have said they are great and they look amazing:) (9 hole par 3 and 18 hole championship course) These are beautifully manicured courses I'd love to play them :) There is a waterpark for family's with 2 big water slides and 1 kids waterside I heard these came from sylvain lake they are a blast :) There is a giant 200ft long slip and slide down into the lake and a lake with a great beach and beach volleyball nets .... We came for a weekend and had so much fun here .... I'd reccomend this place to anyone who can make it out here :)

Trestle Creek is an amazing world class golf course that is slowly garnering the attention it deserves. Amazing difficult greens. It is slated to host amateur and APGA tour events this year. Once the 3rd nine goes in through the trees, the sports fields, recreation centre and new clubhouse, this will be one of the finest 27 hole golf and recreation facilities in W.Canada.

This place is awesome. If you have friends that own a lot out there, I highly suggest taking any invites offered to go out for the day or weekend. Not only is the golf course challenging, fun and kept in pristine shape, the resort itself is beautiful and the water park is insanely fun.

My husband and I have been out to Trestle Creek a number of times ofverthe last couple of years. We have never had anything but awesome to say about the golf and restaurant facilities, however, today was a different story. We arrived early so that we could have breakfast,prior to golfing. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly, that is where the service went for naught. We waited 35 minutes to get two orders of bacon and eggs. When my husband mentioned to the server that he was not happy about the wait, she basically, shrugged it off and walked away. We gulped breakfast down and he went to pay. She did not have any change and started digging in her purse. My husband got so frustrated with this that he told her to just keep the change, he felt that this was a ploy on her part to get a tip not deserving. We would give the proshop and golf staff a 5 but the restaurant and staff a 3 (the food was very good once it arrived, and we would have very much liked to have the time to actually enjoy it rather than gulp and run)

Updated: 29-Jun-2020 Trestle Creek is always worth the drive. The course is in good condition with the exception of a few rough spots on some of the greens and fairways. The course is not very old and is still maturing but very playable. The speed of the greens was quick but sticky, you had to give it an aggressive stroke as the ball came to a quick halt if you did not hit it firm enough. But be careful, too hard and they would run by quite a bit. Kudos goes out to the pro shop staff. We had a 9 a.m. tee-time but had flat tyre on the way out to the course. They were very accommodating and were able to get us out when we finally arrived 3 hours late. It was greatly appreciated and made a frustrating morning in to a pleasurable afternoon.

Took over 90 minutes for them to deliver our meals earlier today...the family beside us showed up 20 minutes after us, ate their meal paid and left before we even got our food.... we had steak and eggs 5he steak wasn't cooked properly same as the gentleman beside us who also complained about his steak....food was also cold when it finally got to our table after asking the server 3 times where our food is, as we are watching nobody come in after we had placed our order....terrible communication skills...we also had a reservation for the 4 of us....will not be going back

The golf course is amazing. Challenging and well taken care of. With at least a handful of holes that could be considered "signature" the built in GPS on the golf cart means you can leave the range finder in the bag. There is a hitting net and putting green to warm up on. And the proshop has a nice little selection of apparel. Will definitely be back with friends.

Great golf course. Not too challenging i always put on my list every year. Beautiful course, nice fairway great codition greens though this year was affected by too much rain (2019) the course become saturated with water and some fairways have a little pond created by the rain. Call before you play. Overall it is one of the best course close to Edmonton.

Played today and was very disappointed. Course is in good condition but the food was not as good as previous visits and when I went to put my score in at Golf Canada the course is no longer recognized . For me it's too far to travel for a practice round. I won't be back anytime soon.

This place would’ve been great, if it wasn’t for the poor waitress that insulted me continuesly. My family (9 of us) took me out for my birthday. Brought gifts and all. Was supposed to be a great evening until we met a waitress that brought us our appys. I have a skin condition, called malasma, which leaves dark marks all over my face. Looks horrendous. I’m very insecure about this, and worry about it every day. We sat down, ordered drinks from a lovely girl ( I believe her name was Jody?) very friendly, exceptional service. All was great until a waitress by the name of Vernadette, delivered our appetizers. She approached me, and said “what the hell happened to your face??” As she laughed. I was completely embarrassed, and horrified. I replied, “it’s Malasma, a skin condition.” My adult children of course got upset, and asked her to walk away from the table, and she replied, “ I’m the wrong one walking away from the table!” Rolled her eyes and left. I’m assuming she was meaning myself because of my look. We quickly ate our food and left. I will never set foot in that establishment again, ever. I have called twice trying to voice my complaint and every time I get that same woman, Vernadette. I asked to speak to the manager regarding a complaint, she takes my number and says someone will call me, but nothing. I’m assuming she’s not even relating the message. I know this is the same woman because I recognize her philapinno accent. Such a horrid woman to be working at such a great establishment. Since I can’t get through, I may have to walk in and tell the boss what a horrible person they have employed in person.

Lovely designed course layout. Huge potato chip greens. Good medium and higher handicap course but with huge greens you never know where the pins are located and for good golfers with a 40 yard green it could be three different clubs. It would be an easy fix to have three different flags. So this course is nice but not for serious golfers.

Played on May 6th, love the course but a little dry everywhere. Hot dogs from the snack shack were horrible, looks like they have the hot dog roller machine but they are not using it, just throwing a dog on the grill for 1 minute doesn't cut it. I have had better dogs at K-Days.

Very poor service at club house. Our food order was placed at 6.20 pm and after few reminders our food finally served at 8.15. Worst chicken wings ever eaten. Even the jugs of beer were not served until 6 45 pm . They need to improve the quality of food and service. Golf course was in excellent shape
