Beautiful scenery ... Wow! I helped for a golf tournament and definitely enjoyed my day there. Steak dinner was delicious ????
I have golfed here many times. I have actually been knighted on hole 18 by the General manager(Ask Murray). This is a challenging course, but I find it in great condition all the time. They always treat me like gold when i am there. Love this place
Nice course wirg good amenties
Great course. Great staff. Was in good shape in 2016
Tournament-heavy on weekends, which at times impacts playability and pace. However, for the price you will not find a nicer track. Easily the best mix of interesting features, difficulty, and playability in the Edmonton area as far as public courses are concerned, and I have played them all.
Beautiful varied terrain. Superb chicken wings.
Great shape.
most over rated track in Edmonton. not worth the $$$. they didn't honour my VIP golf because i booked online..... because the pro shop wasn't answering the phone. outside service staff and the starter/marshals were all friendly.
December 9, 2015 To Murray McCourt and the Staff at the Ranch Golf and Country Club, We chose the Ranch Golf and Country Club to hold our 2015 Company Christmas Party at. We absolutely loved it! A big thank you to Shauna for helping us choose our events and select our meal. We decided to go on a sleigh ride and to do the tobogganing. We stopped and had a delicious Turkey dinner and then went out and enjoyed a large bonfire with smores and hot chocolate. This was the first year that we had invited the staff’s children to our annual Christmas Party and we had lots of fun watching the kids take pleasure in all of the outdoor activities. Some of the comments from our staff were: “Best Xmas Party ever!” “ OMG, that stuffing was amazing!” “That toboggan hill is killer ~ literally!” “It was so nice of you to include the kids.” “Are we coming back next year?” I would not hesitate to recommend the Ranch Golf and Country Club for a Company Christmas Party or for any other Winter Get together. The staff is all very accommodating and friendly, the food is wonderful, the venue is beautiful and the activities you offer help make any occasion very memorable. A sincere Thank You, Leona Cook Partner Touchwood Flooring Ltd.
Well-maintained course with reasonable rates and nice practice facilities.
well kept grounds. friendly staff . good food covid practices in place
such a beautiful golf course.
Amazing selection of food, great prices, friendly people and staff, nice practice driving range and greens, and the course is great! Lots of nice sand traps and water hazards, just the way Golf should be.
Very beautiful scenery and wonderful service. Easily the best golf course in Edmonton.
Favorite golf course to play. My opinion the best course in Alberta.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice course fast greens and friendly staff
Course is in nice shape. It's a great 15 holes but the last few (3 or 4) are kind of a gimmick.
The course is a good challenge and always in great shape
Challenging course, very expensive for what you get. The cart rental is mandatory and you must stay on the cart path. If you drive off the path your carts GPS will give warnings and will limit your speed. Since you cannot be anywhere near your ball the distance to pin feature is useless. In addition to this, the GPS is riddled with ads. Course was in good shape for the most part. Some of the greens were a bit chewed up.
Atmosphere stiff. Golf course was challenging and in excellent condition. Greens not as expected for price but overall good.
Always have been a fan of this course. Some really nice holes and a few tough ones. Will always come back a few times a year to play
Great place and great people. Really enjoy using their driving range but the driving range is closed on Mondays.
Golfed the ranch with my family last night on their $44 appy-hour deal. This course is doing everything right, I was very impressed with the experience they provided.
Facilities was good, but food and service was amateurish. It was bland and there were no cutlery when food was served. Someone ran to get some. There were no dessert spoons had to use dinner forks to have dessert.
We had a team building event here and the service was very good. Nice lunch (Thank you Tammy). After the lunch we had a basic group lesson with Tyler - the course instructor - who showed lots of patience and gave us some great tips. All in one, a very good experience.
Really great golf course that also catered our company tournament. Definitely want to come here again in the future.
One of my favorite courses in the City. Tournaments are well organized and run smoothly. Course is beautiful and well maintained.
Great course, well kept and staffed by great friendly people.
Great course, those GPS carts lose 2 stars.
Incredible experience today. The course was in fantastic shape, the staff were professional and attentive. From top to bottom, this is how a golf course should be. Go play it!
Beautiful club with quality cared for courses and excellent greens.
Golf course is in great shape and challenging but the day we went it was over booked and we waited almost every shot.
Today was my first time golfing and I had a blast. I loved the different stages where you could tee off from depending on your experience. Facilities were clean, staff was friendly and food was great. I will definitely be returning
The ranch golf and cou trh is a cool spot to have a wedding or a party together. We visited here today for a wedding ceremony. The atmosphere was serene and very romantic. The golf courses were clean and inviting. The surrounding tree were natural and captivating. The bar and the restaurant were cool. The staffs were smartly dress and were helpful.
Beautiful course, great staff.
Love this course. Golfing with dogs is such a great idea and we had a great time.
This course is gorgeous. Challenging holes, quite, carts are easy to use and delicious food
The ranch golf and country club is a beautiful golf course and is an ideal location for a tournament or wedding! Muray can help you set up your next big event!
Course is in wonderful shape and pace of play is good. Greens were ture and fast.
Excellent food. Very well maintained course
Excellent food. Very well maintained course
Great course and staff
They had fast greens from early April until closing day in October. The conditions across the year were also excellent. Most consistent of any public Edmonton golf course. Remarkable, keep up the great work! Area for improvement: pace of play is on the slow side. Expect 4h15 to 4.5h rounds. 4 hour or less rounds can sometimes happen, but they are the exception not the norm.
Wow it is so scenic...
Good course. A little odd as they had to cram it in to available space. Not in the best of shape but still ok.
Nice course. Didn't help my game though. Definitely will come back.
This one of the nicest courses in Edmonton. Considering this was the first course to open, it's amazing how good of shape this place is in at the end of May. From flat & lush tee boxes to manicured fairways and fast greens - this course is well maintained. Every hole is distinguishable and worthy of a twilight picture. Had the pleasure of playing there on one of the nicest evenings of the year with a twilight loyalty (download the app) rate. I'll definitely do that more often. Overall the layout is okay and has you using your head more than your driver, which is golf. We walked and found that its definitely a very walkable course, however there is occasionally some distance between holes. They counteract this by including a cart in your rate, so unless walking is your preferred method of course transportation (as it is mine), then there is no benefit to walking...besides golf simply being better when you walk. I'd rate this course a 4.5 for a Northern Alberta course in May, but I can't select half stars so I guess I'll round up.

Course is in excellent condition. Carts having GPS is very handy
Great greens loved it for the time of year and one of the only course out there that you pay for the time of the year thank you to "The Ranch". Can't wait to play in mid June when your fully green and trees are bloomed
I highly recommend this golf club. I have been going here for years and I never had a day that I didn't think the course or the staff were top notch. Excellent driving range, course, restaurant and pro shop. I'm not a pro golfer by any means but this course keeps me loving the sport. Best golf course in Edmonton!
Great course, greens in good condition.
Went in summer 2020 for the first time, and what a deal for the price you get. Excellent golf course and great clubhouse. Would recommend it VERY highly.
It's always in great shape!
My new favourite course in Edmonton! There were a lot of people telling me how much they like The Ranch and it really lived up to the hype. The views on the course were beautiful, the layout was unique and interesting (loved the pit) and the quality of the greens were by far the best I’ve seen in Edmonton this year. After our round we went to get food at the clubhouse but the waitress ignored us, so the service could be a bit better but other than that it was perfect. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back!
Great course for all levels. Staff were kind and very accommodating!
Lots of fairly forgiving fairways. Grounds in excellent condition. I actually had a peaceful round of golf instead of the usual aggravation I have at other golf clubs. Golf cart has screen and GPS.
Really nice course
This golf course is pretty ample with good, long courses. Lots of challenges. The club was pretty nice and the staff very friendly!
Very nice golf course... ⛳????????????
Course is in great shape this year!
Great public course. Early season gem
Course is in great shape! Just don't miss the fairway ...
Great course, staff were helpful. The beer cart was around every 40 minutes which is good! The fescue or tall grass can become a little much if your not a professional. You may think you know where your ball is but you don't.

Greens are sweet and so is pace of play
Amazing course, Friendly staff, delicious food. Absolutely love it here!
Fantastic course. Great for any golfer! Very clean, professional and well kept.
Course is in amazing shape as usual the staff was friendly and the green fees are fantastic for the price.
Greens were awful. You have to get your own range balls. Cart GPS is mostly advertisements. Way overpriced
Everything from the staff to the course is world class. This is the perfect course for a weekend outing or a tournament!
Love it . Nice golf course.
Nice course. Friendly pro shop staff
One of my favorite courses in the Edmonton area. Friendly staff and great grounds keeping
Lovely course, good service. Can get busy it seems at peak times.
Playing very well this year. Greens and fairways in great shape. Soft landings on both. Good golf course for intermediate to advanced rec golfer.
Beautiful course. Challenging but still enjoyable. Could use a little more signage to direc, those not familiar with the course, to the next hole.
Excellent track for golf. Fairways, greens and bunkers in great shape. Friendly staff add to the golf experience. Definately worth a look for your next outing.
The ranch is always a gem to golf at, one of my favorites year round. This year we got the added benefit of bringing our pups out on speciality nights so that was a bonus!
Nice place lots of long holes and water.
Very quiet course well outside of the city. Some of the holes have tough blind shots, tight doglegs and other fun features. GPS-enabled golf carts make ranging your shots to the green very convenient.
I've golfed at the Ranch Golf & Country Club for several years and have always had an excellent experience. The course always in fantastic shape, staff is very friendly and the facilities are perfect for any type of tournament. Highly recommend.
Food is great and course is in very good shape.
Amazing lol place to play golf with buddies! The greens are well maintained! No rentals so as a travelling golfer I had to find an alternative but that has nothing to do with the fairway!
Very nice
In great shape this year.
Great service and a wonderful golf course!!
Had an excellent golf day today at The Ranch! The course was in excellent condition, the staff were excellent and the food was great! The greens were a challenge as they were fast and rarely was there a flat putt! Overall an excellent day of golf!
Beautiful course, incredible staff! Murray is awesome!
Great conditions. Excellent staff and food.
It's beautiful country while you are golfing.
The best greens of the 10 courses I have played this season. I forgot how much I like this course. Only issues 9.25 for a Guinness and the 18th hole with the tees on the right you have to lay up with a longer second shot than drive I call this a Jagare Ridge hole. Hopefully it winters well and I will play it more next year
Very good green
Gorgeous course, well maintained. Love the donut balls and Carmel sauce!
Very fun place and very clean.
Great track, will test your patience. The staff is great and the pro shop is very well equipped.
Thumbs up for the course superintendent. Thumbs down to the front house staff. If you are an assistant or an associate pro and you can't correctly tell people your rates over the phone, there is an issue. Either with the quality of people hired, or the training they receive. Fun course to play--a few quirky holes--and they've fixed the worst issued of the course (being the 9th and 18th greens). Go play, but if service is important to you, don't expect much help (or correct info) from the pro shop.
Very nice shape this season! Food is good, keep it up!
Definitely my favorite course in Edmonton! Have played numerous times, and will continue to play.
Course was I great shape even after the rain staff was awesome had a great round
One of my favorite golf courses in the region. Fantastic conditions. Great staff.
Great afternoon at the course...in great shape..thx for having us all????️♀️????
Been coming out to this course for few years and always excellent course and services every time.
Had the most overbooked round of my life with no effort from the Marshall's to keep pace. We managed to get in 11 holes in 3hr and 50 min. After waiting another 20 min on the 12th tee we decided to quit as it wasn't even close to enjoyable. Extremely disappointed in what they see as acceptable tee times/play. As someone who got a 10-pack voucher as a gift I can't even convince the friends I was with to come back and play for free as this wasn't their first time experiencing this at The Ranch.
Love this course. So beautiful yet challenging.
Good but many holes was Cart psth only which made it very long
Excellent golf course.Good food at club house.Friendly staff.
Great track ... last three holes were beasts! Will definitely return!
Great place
One word to describe The Ranch right now...Mint!! From the phenomenal golf course condition to the great service from their staff, this is THE must play golf course in the Edmonton area.
Greens and fairways are in great shape
A great course with great customer service! Will definitely play here again.
Amazing shape. Great coarse. Well worth every penny. Class act.
Great conditions and course! Greens were excellent!
Great time, clubhouse food was very good. Service exceptional
Nice experience
Great driving range, did not golf on the course yet.
The course is in great shape. Greens run true but are slow. If they cut them down this is a 5 star course all day long. Great course for players hitting off the red tees. My wife was 4 over after 9 and the lightning and rain started. She’s only broke 90 once and was on her way to the game of her life. Just her luck lol.
The course was well groomed but most of the greens were in poor shape. They were freshly seeded and aerated, still some winter kill. This wasn't relayed to us and we were charged full rate. Poor business practice if you want repeat clients. We will not be back this year!
This course is fantastic. It was in such great shape, despite the crazy amount of rain during the summer so far in 2020. The layout is fun, and challenging without being too punishing on missed shots. The staff was very friendly, and accommodated us even though we showed up late for our tee time. The practice range is good, although it looks like they have you hitting off practice mats all year round - not entirely impractical, but definitely doesn't have that 'luxury' feel of other courses within the same price range. All around this is a great course, although it will cost you a pretty penny to play here
A surprisingly challenging, well maintained course.
....as a customer paying green fees at the Ranch. We booked a tee time on Friday over the telephone for two people at $95 a round At 10:58 AM.There was no mention that there was a shotgun tournament starting at 2:15. When I went in to pay ( and of course they took my $200 ) there was still no mention about a tournament! When we got to #1 still no mention from the starter. At #10 when we arrived we were told that we could not T off and needed to wait as there was a shotgun tournament starting at 2:15 and didn’t want us to get to #15 until after that...This was at 1:00 So the golf course intentionally booked us a $200 round of golf knowing full well that we were not going to be able to complete it before the tournament started ....and expected us to wait until eight people at each hole teed off before us. Luckily enough when we got to #16 the tournament players were extremely courteous and let us play through. When confronted at the clubhouse the manager could not have cared less! We were able to play a decently fast round ONLY because of the courtesy of the tournament players otherwise we would have had to wait for 8 payers at each hole ahead of us. If The Ranch would have had the courtesy to properly inform us we would have definitely played another day! All I can say is buyer beware... the Ranch will take your money ...but be forewarned that tournaments take precedence over green fee paying customers...awfully disappointing finish to an otherwise good day...let’s just say we didn’t stop for beers and a bite to eat .
The Ranch is awesome on all front - the course, golf lessons and facilities! First off the course immaculate and beautiful. It is one of the most well maintained courses in the city and it is fun to play, challenging and rewarding. Scott Westman is also an amazing golf pro. I took three lessons with him and as a beginner golfer, he helped me improve my game in such a short amount of time. He is kind, knowledgeable and an incredible teacher! Food, service, staff and pro shop are all great too! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for lessons or a round of golf!
Great course
Course is in fantastic shape each time I’ve gone this season. The Ranch is always fun to play and have some scenic short par 3s and a few challenging par 5s. There around 3-4 water holes if you want a challenge and some tree lined holes along with a few elevation challenges. The greens are excellently kept and it’s been a pleasure to play here this season. I’m loving the twilight deal and have been out several times in the evening to catch 14-18 holes if I can squeeze em in The staff are friendly and always help me get a good round in - really a great group of folks!
Good course.. expensive one the weekends but when the conditions are good it's a truly challenging course with no similar holes. Have played before and will play again. Never eat here but food looks really good.
Beautiful course. But when I informed the 1st hike staff I needed a handicap flag. He hestitaly agreed stating he wanted to see my placard. Then told me he would un-restriced my cart. But he didn't un-restriced my cart. Then when I called in to ask him to he told me it was. But my cart was as restricted as my teammates. My thought is he didn't believe me and just didn't care. I have arthritis in my ankle which isn't noticeable until I stop moving. All I needed was that little bit of help so I wasn't useless for the rest of the day. But I could barely walk after I got home. Terrible customer service.
Just a nice and relaxing day. Good times. Awesome fairways and greens. Really good shape.⛳⛳⛳????????
Outstanding day for golf ... shout out to all the staff . Great job
Nice, challenging course. Maintained immaculately. GPS carts, with a bit of an annoyance as you lose forward power in zones you'd normally be able to drive a cart on. Other than that, highly recommend.
In great shape, finishing hole is not my favorite, they need to open it up enough so a person could challenge the water if they wish to risk it, you pretty much can't so it leaves a tight landing area and a long shot in.
Great golf course but way too hard to have a scramble there with people who have never/barely golfer. Forgot how good this track was
One of my most favorite golf course out of all courses in Edmonton and Alberta. Even if I moved away that is 1.5 hours drive each ways, I still come for a round of golf.
Course is in immaculate condition. Beautiful setting yet challenging enough for any golfer. Thanks for the friendly staff and tasty platter.
Beautiful course - gps carts
Beautiful course. Highly recommend
Beautiful Course and their food is good.
Nice course and is surprisingly one of the most affordable courses in the City. They have great golfing specials just prior to the peak of the golf season which is perfect for beginner golfers like me. The driving range is always great since you rarely have to wait for a spot.
Playing here you really appreciate the professionalism of the staff and the outstanding facilities. I play a lot of Edmonton courses and this ranks at the top.
Not a bad course front nine a bit tight back opens up a bit .the green crew need to stop working disturbing golfers at 100 buck come on.
Always in great shape. Great track and greens are mint
I have visited the Ranch twice. Once for a tournament and once as a green fee player. The Ranch boasts their reputation as one of the best places to host your tournament. Our group had a great time at the tournament but as a social event that’s more on the people you’re with and the on course sponsor entertainment then perhaps what the course is offering. Good food was served and the patio was definitely enjoyed. Sadly their reputation as a tournament course interfered with my experience as a green fee player. Teeing off at just after noon we had a very enjoyable time on the front nine before we found out the back nine was going to be off limits because of an afternoon shotgun. What’s hard to understand is how the tee time is allowed to be booked and no notice is given that there would be a back nine to play - when we book the time or even when we check in. Yet the shop is happy to take your full green fee and hopefully rectify the situation by giving you a rain check so the course doesn’t lose any money and can get you back to pay the difference for another 18 holes when you redeem the rain check. I give full marks to the Outside Services employee who tried to fit us in back on the front nine to play a “full” 18 holes but tournament players had already begun to cross over to the front limiting us to 4 holes on our “back” nine. My issue isn’t with the course. Conditions were great both times I visited (but at $95 dollars that’s expected right?) and I would love to come back and try again.
Always a great track....well looked after, great staff, great food. In great shape right now. We'll done!
We were out there for a tournament and it was a great place to play. The golf course is beautiful and well kept and the carts were clean. The staff are professional but the only thing I would critique was that the snack shack wasn't ready for our arrival close to 10am on a Saturday. Considering we had a tournament, you would have figured that their staff would have been on hand to support the loads of golfers who had snack shack vouchers. Otherwise the lunch was delicious, I just wish that they had other options for a main course as I dont eat meat. The facility seemed to handle COVID protocols quite well.
Beautiful course, very challenging. Horrible golf carts though.
Great course! In amazing shape considering its April! one of my favorites in the Edmonton area!!
Great place for a Christmas Party! Had a blast. Music inside and outside, dance floor, bonfire, fireworks and sleigh/wagon rides!
Had a great time. The back nine has some challenging holes on it. Staff were great
Somebody needs to shut down that pet food plant nearby..
Great place. The pro shop had a great selection ????
Course is in excellent shape. Course staff and pro shop staff were first class. Awesome offerings and pricing for golf apparel and accessories. Go play and see for yourself!! Well done ranch golf and country club!!
Good bang for the buck...immaculate track
Great course! Easy to access location.
Our first trip to The Ranch this season was a pleasure. We had heard mixed reviews about the condition of the course and greens. There was still some lingering evidence of a rough Spring just like most of the courses around. We found the tee-boxes to be in excellent condition as well as the fairways. It is always nice to have the ball sitting up as a reward for hitting the fairway. The greens were receptive, smooth and fast. I am surprised that they do not charge more for the great conditions the provide. The staff were great. The girl in the pro shop was very professional and the starter was very accommodating. We showed up early for our 7:00 am Tee-time and were allowed to go out early as a twosome. It only took us us 3 hours to play. We look forward to going back again later this year.
The course was well kept and had a nice challange. Staff were friendly and helpful. The burgers were awesome. And the beer was cold.
Great day. Hot but rained a bit for a couple holes. The course is in wonderful shape.
Course is in great shape. Greens are some of the best around considering the bad winter
I like this course. Good value and it's usually in great shape. The food and drinks are what you would expect from any golf course, and everyone send friendly. It can get a little crowded there though, so budget for a longer round
Greens are pretty rough shape at start of season, but a well designed course. Golfers will appreciate this one.
The Ranch Gold & Country Club is a great place Golf, eat, drink, and be merry! With an amazing course and an amazing staff your sure to have a great time.
Can be a little pricey at peak hours, but for the most part is worth it. It's one of the more visually appealing courses in the Edmonton area. Many tee shots require both distance control and accuracy. I used driver only 3 times when I played this year.
