Here you will see all the opinions of real people like you who purchased the products of The Legends Golf and Country Club (Golf) in the area of Alberta (Canada).
Right now the firm receives a rating of 4.4 over 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is quite high, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the rating is quite accurate. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Fairways and Green were in great Fall condition, the tee boxes were a little rough today, but still a good value!
Always a good course to play.
The course was in good shape except for the tee boxes. The was no grass on most of them and there was not a level spot on the majority of them. Maintaining tee boxes shouldn't be that hard.
Would have been a 5 star review, the course was very nice we played on good friday but we were lucky to see the beer cart once in 9 holes, absolutely unacceptable.
Very nice, well looked after course. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the club house is excellent. Try the platter for two; there is plenty of assorted snacks for four ladies!
Good value for cost. Course condition is dry but overall good time playing
Very nice course that is well maintained. Had excellent service and everyone was very friendly.
Great golf course. Go here all the time.
Course was in great shape. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was certainly upheld. Played Traditions & Champions... layouts were fun and required some creativity/thought but not punishing. Clubhouse could use a facelift but honestly could not ask more from a round around $20 cheaper than the going rate these days.
Really surprising, almost perfect greens and very well maintained. Highly recommend...
Great course good price
Wonderful 27 holes of golf. Great rates
Great service. Friendly staff. Course is well upkept. Would recommend this place.
Absolutely packed. Should never wait this long or have them jamming up the cours . Arent we supposed to be social distancing?save your money . There are a lot of courses around edmonton to play besides this. Way to many people and jamming groups in so wait times are very long Very disappointed in management when we are supposed to be be careful. They have way to many tee times booked for what course can handle. Never gonna play here again Absolute joke
I haven’t played 1 one the nines, course was alright, clubhouse a disappointment (needs help), meals served on plastic, another disappointment. The driving range? Got to get back in your car (give up your cherry spot) drive to the range then beat it back only to park way back. They could do a lot better here. Oh yeah and hungry? All meals served on plastic plates, which is pathetic after spending good money to be there. Shameful clubhouse management really.
Large well kept... Lot of small flooding but with all the Rain recently to be expected!
Well kept grounds. Lots of variety. Fun club house.
I really can't recommend The Legends as there are just too many options out there that provide a better experience. I was there July 2021. After a record breaking heat wave. But we recently had a couple small showers. Somehow the course is swamped. You couldn't get from the cart path to the green without getting wet feet on the Traditions 9. The Champions nine is nicer, but the Traditions nine is exceptionally boring, bar the last hole. Wide open fairways. The greens are super soft, so they are badly marked up. They were not very smooth. They really need cutting as well. Worst examples was 1st green on traditions. The previous hole location was sitting 1/4 inch proud. I've never seen something as bad done by the guy who moved the holes. It was ridiculous. (I wish I took a picture, but I had to putt over it) Thanks to COVID-19 still no rakes in bunkers. And they certainly weren't raked in the past 48 hours. I think most courses consider raking greens to be a daily job. Last complaint... 5somes. Yup. I don't know if this is condoned, or a lack of marshalling. But it made for a slow finishing 5 holes. I like to also point out the positives. Staff were super friendly and professional. Price was good (we started at 5:24 so maybe it was a twilight rate).Fairways were mostly lush. Again some needed cutting. Overall, it was ok, but really appeared to be lacking basic maintenance.
Nice! And they have 27 holes. Not too far out of Sherwood Park/Fort Saskatchewan.
Champions 9 was in great shape August 8 and beer cart girl was keeping us well hydrated????
The course is in awesome condition...greens have never been better!
I love this golf course especially the first two nine's Traditional and Champions staff is quite friendly and accommodating ????
Course is in good shape. Woudn't suggest it for hosting a tournament though as we had 80 people and they wouldn't do a shot gun start and instead was individual tee off times. It meant the first to tee off waited a couple of hours before eating...became very long and drawn out.
Water on the fairways on the Traditional course. Like playing in a swamp. Bring boots. Champions course was nice though.
Very nice golf course. I like the layout.
Beautiful course , but I won’t go back and it’s unfortunate because it’s somewhat close to my neighbourhood. I though I’d take my oldest son out golfing tonight as we don’t get to spend much time together as it is , clearly thinking we had enough time because the website said “Open until 10:pm “ . Then I find out as we were about to play the last hole at 8:23 pm the course Marshall tells us that it was done at 8:15pm !? Spent over 100$ to play 9 holes and had plenty of light to finish the last hole. It was hard to bite my tongue at the old fella but I did not want to cause a scene in front of my son. Clearly just update your website and this could be avoided instead of us driving all the way out there and then finding out after !! Am I wrong feeling this way. Lol
My home club! Excellent management and great course!
Great people. Sometimes over booked and slow pace.
I can't believe it's been such a long time since I've played here. 27 holes of great golf, from tee to green. This is a fantastic golf course for players of every level. If you have a chance to play this golf course - book it!!
Great course, and excellent conditions. All around great club.
Nice course but high priced.
Beautiful course I will be back it is challenging. But forgiving... Thank you
Good track. 27 holes. Champions 9 is nice.
Champions nine is really nice. I would rate Hickory as a second.
Great 27 hole course. Has everything from easy to tough holes. Usually busy all the time
Beautiful course. Fairways and greens are well groomed. Love this course
Great course. Nice ppl. Lots of holes.
I golf here weekly, love the course and the care they put in to it, reasonable prices and mostly good staff minus a grumpy restaurant manager...
A bit out of the way, but worth the drive
Ok golf course. 27 holes with 3 nines. Can be a challenge depending on which 9 you play. Decent clubhouse and prices.
A good golf course, very enjoyable.
One of my favorite courses to play on, there are 3 courses all rolled into 1 so you can have some variety. Champions course is a well designed course with lots of water to keep you honest. Probably one of the best kitchens in Edmonton
Course is in very good condition and presents an honest challenge. Staff are friendly and helpful. Green fees are reasonable, especially on Fridays. Restaurant is now open. Food is just ok.
Great course, my wife and I came here for our first time. Probably not the correct place for beginners but was fun nonetheless. Course was pretty soggy but we had just received a lot of rain. Course staff were very friendly and helpful. Only reason there's 4 stars is because the layout was a little confusing with very vague signs
Nice golf course, green are in great shape, fairways great a bit wet due to a recent storm.
Course was great.. ..service inside not so much
The staff is great and the course a little forgiving. Condition was really nice this week.
Traditions was in great shape . A couple of wet holes but the greens are in great shape.
The staff are great, the course is fun and they have a great facility for company tournaments.
3 separate courses, lots of golf.
Great course! It's fairly priced, too!
Great Texas scramble location. Friendly staff, well maintained course.
A fine course.
Prices were decent. They have 27 holes total separated in 3 courses (Old hickory, Traditions, Champion). The old hickory nine holes were great. The traditions nine were a little long and boring. Well have to try the champion nine next time. They also don't give you a map on the scorecard which isn't great.
Very well maintained. Difficulty would be considered a 6/10. Great place for a relaxing game of golf
Great shape, very little winter kill
Amazing golf course. The greens are amazing and the fairway doesn't have any holes. Their prices are outstanding for the amount of golf you get. I highly recommend this place.
Love legends, everyone is helpful from the clubhouse to the golf pros and beer girl! Beautiful greens and challenging pars.
Awesome experience beautiful area nice course!! Most of the staff is awesome!! Will be going back in the summer!!!
Great course
The course was pretty decent, except way to open (maybe 75 yards between trees if any at all). The food was Ok, I like the free ice water jug that I can fill on demand. The problem is the owners, so concerned with money it's booked up back to back real tight. It's also impossible to play anything less than a 4 some, which socks cause when I golf it's a way for me to catch up with friends as I live out of town and is not the same when with strangers. Once we had a foursome but one canceled at the last minute and the pro shop was up set with us!?!? I prefer a course that has a balance between customer service and profits. There driving range is Ok but you have to drive to it and they have no tees, plus don't take debit. But the putting green is absolutely terrible. Ripped up, one hole, and a couple minute walk from the range.
Awesome. Had lots of fun and beer. Course is great.????????????????????
The course is in good shape. The fairways are a bit dry but it's been a hot summer. Greens are looking good but they are pretty soft and slow. Lots of divots but that's players and not the course's fault. I would recommend it.
Nice golf course, well maintained, friendly staff, 27 holes so good variety. Fair price.
Very enjoyable place to golf. Course layout provides a good mix for a leisurely approach to golf or risk and reward to go low. Either way lots of fun!!
15 min drive past Sherwood Park ..East fast on freeway..It was easy to get a tea time in the afternoon...Beautiful course.. However bathroom..need a upgrade.. ..at least they do have a few on course * .bring your own sanitizer.. .price was around $100.00 for 2 seniors and a driving cart ...Will go back this summer T&G
Fairways and greens are in very good shape this year - everything is lush. Unfortunately some fairways get very wet and soggy after prolonged rain, but overall great course for the price.
Great course
Beautiful course with views and wide fairways. You have challenging water plays which aren't too bad once you learn the secret. Only negatives are the oil refinery smells close to the club house area, but those go away once you're a hole or two in.
We played all 27 holes the other day and found all the holes to be in decent condition. The greens on the Old Hickory and Traditions where much slower than the Champions 9. There were some patchy spots but for the most part the ball rolled well with few surprises.. The fairways were in good condition as well as the tee boxes. They have a good weekend twilight rate of $45 w/ cart starting at 4:30.
Good place for golf!
The course is in great condition. (2017)
My dad and his friends were harressed at 7 of the 9 holes done by an employee to hurry up.. Clearly this golf course just cares about making money and will rush you! Do not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere who cares about their customers.
Great course. Super fun. Beautiful views.
One of my many places i visit here in Alberta
First time i broke 80!
All the tee boxes are sloped! They need to be levelled off!
Management & Staff are Great. Brian & Shawn are treat to deal with.
Course is in great shape. Good staff!
This course has a great variation of holes to play. It's nice to experience all 27 holes in one day. I wish more courses would invest in GPS on the golf carts though. Yesterday there was quite a few holes that were waterlogged, understandable with the amount of rain we've had lately. The staff is very friendly. I like this course. I would give 5 stars if the carts had GPS. Just my opinion
$45 dollar twilight starts at 430 pm. Includes cart. Golf until 945pm. 27 holes is possible.
Nice course, good shape, good price, good people. I will be playing here again and recomend it. Only issue i had was the pace of play. This is not enforced at all. I understand that there are some slow days but my latest 9 holes there were played in 3.25 hours and we almost couldn't finish because it was too dark. This is one of the slowest (pace) golf courses i have played. I will re-review when i play here again, hopefully this is addressed.
A really good country course that is busy but that is due to the value and tee availability. Course is well manicured and the greens were in good shape. We golfed 9 holes as a family and really liked the layout and challenge for all of us.
Enjoy playing the golf course the staff is excellent,I well continue to golf here
Golfed with my three nephews Saturday,18,July and had a great time.this course was in better shape than I thought it would have been due to the dry weather of late.challenging, with lots of hazards, and a few really long holes.staff very courteous and you could tell they are invested in their club.
The marshalls are terrible. Don't pay any attention to the slow groups but want to kick you off the second the sun starts lowering. One of the worst run courses I've been too. Course is decent, holes are decent. Terrible Marshall's.
3 of our last four rounds at the Legends have been 5 hours plus including yesterdays 5:45 on a Tuesday. We kept giving it one more chance. Never again. 2 hours for the first six holes yesterday The "Players Assistant" said "sometimes you have to turn a blind eye" as he allowed the 5some with what looked like 3 beginners to doddle along in front of us. And they weren't the slowest, they were waiting for an even slower group who had 3 open holes in front. No slow-play policy so no enforcement.
Great course and staff. Be back again.
We haven't gone back for 4 years but still a very nice course. Need some maintenance around the bunkers and some fairway though. The course used to be well maintained in the past.
Amazing views considering this is only Edmonton. It feels as if the course plays long, but I was walking, and forgot my push cart, so that might be my feet talking
Course in great shape always a good round here
A beautiful golf course, with fantastic personal.
The Golfing was awesome! But my only problem was the players assistant, as he was trying to rush us along while we weren't slowing anyone down.
Great and beautiful course!
Staff are very friendly and helpful and the course is in excellent condition. This course is a hidden gem.
Course is in really good shape.
Played a round in early June 2020 after the course opened. The Traditional 9 should have been closed and was basically under water. Not sure why they had it open as the quality just wasn't there. At least I got to spend an hour cleaning all of my gear after...
Course is pretty well maintained and the price is reasonable. I enjoy playing here every Thursday.
Fairways bit hard and not having driving range on site is a bit dishearting Jump into your car and drive down the road to it....really!
An excellent 27 hole golf course.Well priced. Good value.
Love Champions
Conditions were surprisingly very good for this time of year. Speed of greens was different on the two different nines, but they were in good shape.
It's a good golf course but needs some improvements
Although the course was wet from the rains last night, still awesome greens and fairways. It's become a default course for me. Friendly ProShop and Cart staff.
Staff is very and helpful
Golfed here many times and have always enjoyed the course and staff. Having 27 holes is great especially the new 9. Going their way tomorrow with 7 others.
Excellent golf course
course was in good shape
Best Value for Golf in Edmonton area in my opinion. Great course, well kept, fun, playable with a few challenges.
Nice courses
Good
The course is in great shape. Well worth a round!!
Beautiful Course. Greens were slow
Nice place
Course is in great condition early in the year. Staff is excellent. Every time I play here the people are so nice and accommodating. Strongly recommend. 27 holes challenging track. Like Champions the best.
The course was in fantastic shape.
Great course with very friendly staff.
Don’t get me wrong the course is a 5 star. Was not happy with the guy who was the Marshall and staff. The Marshall was rude and ignorant because we were held up by people infront of us. As we finished the course it was still light out and golf teams were even behind us. He Embarrassed us in the parking lot shouting and would not listen to reason or acknowledge what was going on. Then yelled at the group behind us even louder. I don’t know what to say when you pay the price they ask and the staff that lets you on and says we were the last group. Allows another group to proceed then causes a scene. It Is unsportsmanlike and unprofessional as a representative to the owner of the course. Sad part is we were not even asked or leave as the sun was going down. Just broad sided in the parking lot as we were loading our clubs. Golf is supposed to be a mature game and a respectful game. Plus correct communication from time of payment to ticket - to time of last hole should be more communicated prior to purchasing and supply better understanding. Also if people are running later then politely ask them to leave and or possibly compensate them like others do. Sorry I respect my elders but when they are childish and don’t preach what they sow then. Sorry I think the owner should put someone one else in that position
Tee boxes could use some work. Oddly sloped in some places. The rest of the course is in good shape.
Super slow rounds on the weekends
People friendly, course in good shape
Good shape
Great Course
Staff very good. Greens and fairways in nice shape. Some tee box's could use a little work. Marshals kept pace of play well.
Few bad spots otherwise in good condition
The new middle aged woman front desk seems do not like the service job. I only met her service twice. First time, she double charged the cart fee. Second time, when there was obvious empty-first tee places, and not-full park lot, she refused walk-in customer(around 2 PM, 09-05-18), by claiming there is a league going on in all 3 9-hole golf courses, which was very suspicious.
exquisite
Great golf course and economical
Consistently fun course that's always in great shape at an affordable price. Definitely recommend this course!
Company tournament. Kelly Anderson memorial. We all miss that guy. Course was pretty good i thought considering rain etc.
2nd time there. Great course and definitely can be challenging since I don't golf often. Will always come back.
Decently challenging course that is fun for all skill levels. I played the Champions 9 and Traditions 9. Champions 9 fairways were pretty well manicured, the greens however were patchy and pock marked with divot holes, which was disappointing. Traditions, however, was a very well manicured course all around. I would say this course is more of a 3.5 because of the green play on Champions but overall I really enjoyed the course!
First round of the year and it was in pretty decent condition. Looks like they are putting some money into and should look awesome when its completed.
Great course, a bit on the easier side, we'll kept and had a ton of fun...definitely will be back
One of the nicest, most well kept courses I've ever been to, and they have a bathroom on almost every second hole. Not gross crappy outhouses but REAL bathrooms. I strongly recommend it
A little pricey, but that's only because I'm cheap. Nice course, greens we're mostly in quite good condition, drink carts were fairly common. Only complaint was that our cart was a bit of a lemmon(though it did technically run). Good course had a great time.
Course is in good shape and had a good round.
(Translated) Beautiful golf course (Original) Très beau parcours de golf
Great staff and the course is excellent shape
Really enjoyed there! Great staff. Will go again......
Decent track. Greens were good shape
Golf
Good 27 holes
We are really happy to see you guys are open. The two of us enjoyed the course and the customer service. Thank you
Play at legends regularly. Will be another awesome year once the snow is gone.
Not overly well managed, groups get jammed out in front of you which always makes for a slow round. Have yet to see a Marshall at this golf course actually doing their job unfortunately.
The Legends Golf course has something for every level player from beginner, intermediate to the more advanced. Not many public golf courses can boast of having a grass driving range but Legends does. Great place to have your tournament, practice your game, get a lesson and play some golf at reasonable rates.. Enjoy
Very nice course !! Very friendly staff
One of the best and most challenging courses I have had the chance to play since taking up golf. Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful course with great views. The price is reasonable. It is also very forgiving for someone with a slice!
Nice course for the price.
Friendly marshalls
Great course! Alot of over watered fairways. Couple greens have seen better days guessing winter kill. Parking lot very crowded especially if you're driving a truck but all in all good course !!
the course was in great shape... wasn't rushed to play ..great time
Played the Champions 9, beautiful views down by the river. Course was in great shape, too!
Awesome course. Greens are in great shape.
A beautiful layout with a variety of different holes. My first time playing it and was not disappointed. The champions course is the first nine we played which is located down near along the river, and the other eighteen are located up from the clubhouse. Many elevation changes with a fair share of waterholes that can be challenging. Besides that a fairly open that makes up for the water, doglegs, and elevation changes. In beautiful condition and overall a very scenic course that is fun to play.
One of my favorite local courses, good price, 27holes with plenty of water features and a few elevation changes.
Great course and great prices. Friendly staff too!
First day of the season and we had an awesome time the course is in great shape for April and the staff were pleasant and offered some good tips. I’ll be back.
The golf course was in pretty good shape. It would be better if people would have a little respect for tge greens and repair their ball marks repaired multiple Mars on all the greens we played on tonight.
Nice forgiving course. Greens rolled decently but were very firm on landing. Overall a good time.
Rained all day. Staff let us delay tee time for ~1 hour and enjoy a breakfast while the rain passed. Enjoyed 18 holes with less than par weather. Good mixture of range and features, enjoyable for all levels of golfer. Patient staff is a plus!
Nice round at Hickory Hills and Championship courses. Yeah!
Beautiful course with rolling hills and great water features. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great shape. Was a bit slow paced but expected with a packed course.
What a nice little course. The champion nine is by far the best. Great setup.
Course still in good shape, leaves are blown away from the fairway and greens
It's a decent course for around Edmonton. No matter time of day, day of week. The pace of play is always going to be an issue. It's a go to course if you just want to get round in for under $90
Another hidden gem, it's come a long way from when it first open up, I'll be back
Course is in great shape
Good value.
Great looking course. Gets quite soggy after a rain though. Staff was all great, pace of play was nice and relaxed. It's quite a hike if you walk the course. Some nice elevated tees to bomb drives from. A good challenge but still fair for casual golfers.
Love the scenery while up on some of the elevated tees overlooking the course. Think hickory is my favourite 9 but love the rest of the course too! Reasonable priced as well!
Great course.
