We have the opinions of people who are purchasing the services of Serenity Golf Club (Golf) in Alberta (Canada).
Right now this firm receives a score of 4.2 over 5 and the score was based on 126 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is quite high, and it is founded on a high number of reviews, so we may be quite sure that the score is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf corresponds to the category of Golf course.
Great daily specials and twilight fees. The course is in great shape considering it's not even 2 years old. Friendly atmosphere and overall a great prairie course.
Needs a little time to grow in.
Nice course with a decent layout...green fees are pretty steep for a course that has fairways with divots all over them...I'll come back when it's matured for a year or two
Great Layout
Beautiful for not being fully developed. Looking forward to completion.
A similar course to Blue Devil (same ownership.) But a MUCH more fun layout and slightly better pricing.
Played Serenity for the first time today. I thought the course was in exceptional shape given it just opened this year. Greens were fast, fairways and bunkers in good shape, cart paths fully paved. Lots of nature and no houses to worry about. Despite being out along 22x, the course itself is fairly secluded. Good mature tree growth on the back 9 and new trees in on the front. The layout of the course was fun and challenging with great risk / reward options. Many different ways to attack a hole. Not just a flat farmer field track. Paid $90 for 18 and cart which I thought was completely fair. This will be a fantastic facility once the other 18 is complete. Will be back.
Played Serenity last week for the first time, and I'll be back again! Man did they ever nail the course. Great layout, and diversity of challenging and fun holes. Greens are fast and run true. Just east of Calgary, it is easy enough to get to, and it offers some of the nicest scenery around.
Staff was great. Marshall was driving around asking for players if they needed water. Really good food options, and really great customer service. - Great course layout and design - good sand in bunkers - tee boxes and signage are really good - really nice short game practice area Greens are way too firm!!! Not a pitch mark in sight. Seems to be the case every year at every play golf Calgary course. If you like to hunt pins, not the course for you. Even a super high spinner SW from a 100 yards out will just roll off the back.
Very open, well maintained course, no serious obstacles or hazards. Minimal food services, final clubhouse not constructed yet. Significant investment, developing business.
Nice challenging course. Still working on opening the driving range, clubhouse, etc.
We played here on October 15th, and the course was great and each staff member we encountered was very nice, full of information and the day was awesome. I did wish there was more accurate information regarding the practice facilities and lack of driving range. I had messaged them via their website with no answer back regarding the availability of a driving range. The website did not confirm or deny the presence of a range. The email confirmation we received a few days before our round, indicated the range will be open 'later this summer' Since summer is over, we figured there would be a range to hit full shots. I suggest they add a net to hit full shots into in lieu of a full range. Practice green was great, and offered chipping which you don't find at most golf course practice greens. The course was very well maintained, and the greens were great, we found the service to be top notch and the design of the course in the top tier of courses in the area. The temp. clubhouse and pro-shop were very well stocked. Along with the great service was a well managed frost delay the staff were great a communicating the revised tee-times. Plans for the new clubhouse look amazing and I look forward to seeing it all completed.
Really enjoy this course. Some challenges with a few narrow / treed fairways, but do love the course.
I joined Serenity as a member for the 2018 golf season. I took a leap of faith, as I didn't play the course before joining. Upon playing the course for the first few weeks of the golf season, I must say that I'm very impressed with the course currently, and even more excited about what is to come. The course offers a great test of golf. You can score well on this course, as it has some reachable par 5's, but the course can test you in other areas. Certainly it needs maturing, that goes without saying. However, they continue to address needs and concerns as they arise. The staff at Serenity is there to make your day enjoyable and are always interested in your feedback. If a membership is what you're looking for, you need to consider joining Serenity. It already is the best deal in golf surrounding the city, but I believe in 5-7 years it will be the best hands down with 36 holes, full practice facility, and new clubhouse. They're building a great membership and community out at Serenity. If you're at all interested, don't hesitate to reach out to them.
I just love that golf course.
Best greens in the city. Great course and staff. It's a perfect getaway; can't wait to get out there again.
Great staff and nice course to play! For the beginner and average golfer this course offers enough challenge as well as forgiveness with ample fairway playing room. Advanced golfers may not be as challenged by Dancing Bull. The newest Suncatcher 18 has the first 9 holes open with the remainder set to open this June. Dancing Bull is available on Golf GPS apps, yet Suncatcher is not. Seems once Google satellite imagery is updated golf apps will then be able to integrate this second course as well.
Had a great round here last night. Quiet, peaceful round with a well laid out course. Easily enjoyable for golfers of all calibers. Can't wait until the next 18 and rest of the facilities are done!
The tee boxes are not level and rough. The fairways are hard to distinguish from the rough as they don't even seem to be the right grass. The horse flies are terrible as it is in swamp country (anything East of Calgary, think Langdon). They are charging basically the same as Heritage Pointe with no facilities. You can see three holes over on the majority of the the course. Too many moose logos and hype, so you saw moose...cool. In poorer condition than a City of Calgary course. I only gave it two stars because the staff were very polite and happy you came....almost like they know how bad it is and can't believe you paid $100 to play it.
For a brand new course it is in surprisingly fantastic shape, love playing here. Everyone makes you feel so welcome!
The course layout is great and challenging after playing twice in Sept. We played twilight yesterday and after 9 holes we were backed up to 3 groups on 10. With the front wide open, we played it once again. After 18, we went inside and told the clubhouse we were heading out on the front 9 again. We were enjoying the course until the “starter” “guy managing the carts” approached us on the 8th green, walked across my friends putting line and pulled the pin. He asked if we told the clubhouse we were playing again, we said yes, he said who did you tell, we mentioned a women inside the clubhouse and he told us we informed the wrong person. He was extremely rude, passive aggressive and took the pin and drove away. At the 9th hole he did the same thing taking the flag. We looked at the 6th hole and others and the flags were still present so we knew we were targeted. The overall “customer experience” was a 0/5 but I rated the track a 3 as it is a nice course. Those who start new businesses focused on attracting customers and creating a positive experience must hire the right people. We likely won’t be back or recommend after this experience
Sun Catcher - Great course, great condition, poor marshalling. We played our family golf tournament there on August 28. I thought I was done with five hour games of golf but that is what happened. Bill the marshall, is a very amiable fellow but could not control the course. We could see groups ahead of us that were partying but nothing was done. One of our two carts made it to the second hole before it ran out of power. I called back to the club house and was put on hold for five minutes. A new cart did arrive shortly after I got through. I won't be back. I always appreciate when this owner/manager responds as in this case. The GPS asks to rate your round about 1/2 way down the 18th fairway. As I had nothing else to do while waiting for the group on the green I did so. I could see that the round was tracked at 4:45 but it was another 10 minutes or so before we putted out.
Played Dancing Bull. This will be a gem of a course once the course matures. Conditions on the first 4 holes were not very good, which is expected right at opening, but the greens were fantastic! Staff were fantastic and very welcoming(everyone). Very walkable course. Looking forward to coming back when the course matures a little and the sod settles. Was disappointed that the range was not ready yet, despite the website implying that it was. Will be back later in the season.
Great experience and well maintained greens and fairways.
I have to start by complimenting one of the most friendly staffs I've run into in a long time. Big thumbs up! The track currently has 27 holes but should have 36 by next year from what I could see. Dancing Bull is the 18 hole track at this point with Sundance being the future 18. When we were there they had us play the 3 9s independently for our 36 hole day. Dancing Bull is an interesting lay out with a fair challenge as long as you play from the correct tee box. Sundance is my personal favourite and seems set up better as a resort style course with large fairways and large greens. Makes for a quicker round, once the full 18 opens up. Well worth the short trip out of the city.
Well kept course; somewhat challenging bunker placement.
Serenity is a great golf course!! Very mature for how young it is. The front and back are both completely different and unique. The greens are in great condition and roll very true. Very fair golf course with some tricky shots. It is a very walk able course and I can't wait for the next 18 to open along with the driving range.
Sorry Serenity course was not bad, but it's a 3 charged as a 5. The sand traps are really nicely laid out and fun to play out of. The tee off signage and benches are a 5. Tee decks are poorly graded with no sand capping. The landing areas seem to be in the proximity of another tee deck. The greens are brown, seem to be cut too short. GPS is minimal. $90 for a round is pricey.
(Translated) A golf course built in 2017. 18 more holes are scheduled to open in 2019. Basically a gentle course. Even blue is short. The green is early, but there isn't much swell, so I think it's important to have a sense of distance. (Original) 2017年に出来たゴルフ場。2019年には更に18ホールがOpen予定だとか。 基本的には優しいコース。ブルーでも短いね。グリーンは早めですが、あまりうねりはないので距離感重視かと。
The staff were fantastic and the course is fine except for the price. The front nine is open with new trees and reminded me of Boulder creek, the back nine had more trees and should be beautiful once the leaves come out. My main issue is what you are getting for the price, more expensive than Boulder creek or Heather glen but no club house, no driving range and not a single ball wash station on the course. If you want to use your Play golf Calgary card I suggest you just go to Heather Glen instead.
Good pace, staff friendly and course in good shape.
Played for the first time October 3rd. Took my 4 some 6.5 hours to play 18! No marshal, group in front of intoxicated young men leaving clubs behind, coming back for them mid tee off on my group.. insane! I should of walked off and asked for my money back after the first 9. Won’t be back.
This is a nice course, it has not quite come into it's own, but definitely has the potential to be a great course. There is no driving range, but will be soon along with another 18, that will definitely add another star. The greens are very fast, but roll very true and there are a few holes that make you work for your score. I will be back next year.
This place is what the name says, serene. It is in the middle of nowhere and you get to look at the beautiful trees and hear birds and nearby cows and dogs. There are even lamas across from one hole. More than anything, the course is well maintained and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Take a little drive and enjoy this beautiful course!
Really enjoyed our first experience at Serenity Golf Club. The "Dancing Bull" course is going to be something special as it comes into its own. Challenging but fair - it's going to take a few rounds to figure these holes out. Also, the greens (I would guess between a nine and a ten on the stimp at the time of our round) were some of the best I have played this summer. Looking forward to playing here again!
Played today and had a great time. greens were really really good. THe back nine is best holes I played. Loved it
I hadn't ever played Serenity until this year, and I've played twice in the last 3 weeks. First time was Dancing Bull, and then yesterday we played Sun Catcher. I really enjoyed both courses! Dancing Bull is the older more mature course and has no restrictions. Now that the COVID restrictions have loosened up we were able to pull the pins and rake the sand traps again... amazing how much we had missed that!! Hearing "that sound" of the ball dropping into an empty cup was great! Course amenities are great, lots of choice for food and drink. The "beer carts" were around often, etc. We felt very taken care of! Sun Catcher is still very new and the grass hasn't matured yet, so there's some rules in place about carts on the path only for the front 9, and 90 degree rule on the back 9, max 2 putts on hole 6, etc. Greens are very slow because of that, but the starter gave us fair warning. This is all completely understandable, so kudos to course management for doing the right thing and not letting people have "free reign" yet. I'm excited to see this course take shape in the coming years. We played a twilight round starting at 6pm (price was right!) and made it to hole 15 before we couldn't see anymore. Overall this is a great course and I'd highly recommend it! One of my new favorites in and around Calgary, and I'll be back for sure. *edit 2021-08-25* It's official, Serenity is my new 'go to course' around Calgary. I've played another ~6-8 rounds here since I posted this, including Sun Catcher again, and yeah, I just love this course and staff! Such great service, great conditions, and challenging (but not so challenging that it's frustrating) courses. AND they're completely walkable.. which I love. Did I mention the 'poker chip' style markers they give out for birdies, eagles, etc.? THAT is a cool 'perk' too. My buddy and I usually haul 3-6 of them per round and it's been a blast trying to 'collect as many as possible'. Keep up the great work Serenity!! I'll be looking into the Monday Mens Niight for next season!
Very good course !
Played Dancing Bull, front and back play completely different. Will give 5 once the course is complete. Needs some time to mature.
Great course, fast greens and great staff.
Played on opening week and had a great time. Course was surprisingly in great shape for a new course. Some bits and pieces need to grow in but overall its a really fun course. All the little touches with farm antiques and we met Monty the Moose really adds to the day. One of my new favs.
Course Looks awesome. When are you open?
Fun layout that is very playable, yet provides a challenge for players of all skill levels. Greens were very good, especially for a brand new course and the staff was friendly. Will definitely be back!
Good course, wide fairways, user friendly and great staff. Needs maturing tho
Great course. Good condition for this late in the year. We'll be back next year
$93 round at a course with no range, iffy conditions on the first few holes, a temporary clubhouse and oh yeah, the GPS on both carts wasn't working. It's just not worth the prices being charged. It has potential but my foursome won't be returning as there are much, much better values to be had in and around the city. I tried to leave feedback on their website under "golfer feedback" and it linked me to a nice story about how this overpriced course was named; no room for feedback I suppose. What will they charge when they have a second course completed and actually have some typical golf facilities in place?
Never played here before. The fairways and greens were some of the better ones we have seen so far this season (heatherglen, fox hollow, nanton). Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint was it was slow. The group ahead said worst they had ever seen there before. Was twilight and we finished 9 in just over 2 1/4 hours. Finished another 6 in under an hour when not waiting (2 person group due to covid restrictions).
Great service super friendly staff overall a great experience.
I selfishly do not want people to find out that this is a nice place.
Nice course.
I was super excited when this course opened up as it's only a few min from my house. The staff is super friendly which is about the only good thing here. I have been here a few times and it's not worth the money they charge to play. It's a new course so it's understandable that everything isn't perfectly set up. However, they have been open all summer to get things organized. Our GPS on the cart was not functioning today.. we could have switched after we tee'd off however there was only a few carts left and it seems like every time the cart GPS does not work so why even bother. There was no washrooms on the back nine ... very unacceptable being a girl to not have any washrooms for 2 and a half hours. No beverage cart on the back. No driving range. Never any food left. The sandwich I did get was made on Wednesday and it's Sunday.... Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here again as a regular green fee is $90 with a cart. Might as well go to a more established course and have a better experience with all of the amenities that you would expect paying almost $100.
First visit there and will go back again. Several different tee boxes to choose from to challenge every skill level while allowing higher handicap players the opportunity to hit some lower numbers. Staff was nice and friendly and their COVID19 measures go above and beyond.
For a course that is going on a year and a half old ... not bad! Staff is friendly and attentive. Price was right. Will definitely tell my friends to check it out!
Great course and the friendliest staff. Would recommend this course to anyone
Played Serenity for the first time last Thursday and really enjoyed my round. A quick drive from south Calgary and the course was more grown in than I expected for having just opened recently. A couple great views of the mountains on the back 9 as well, I will definitely be returning for another round there this summer.
I have played Dancing Bull a number of times. It is a very walkable course. Fairways are fairly generous Greens are large & fast. At $64.00 for a round I find it reasonably priced. The down side is if your keeping a handicap and playing any tee box other than The Black & Silver your handicap cap will not be accurate. There are holes where the whites are really on reds where a par 5 of 530 yd becomes a 490 yd a 160 yd Par 3 becomes a116 yd par 3. For the most part there are 4 tee boxes & 5 sets of markers this is similar to the Blue Devil course for the live of me I can not figure out the reasoning behind this. They should do away with the Silver Markers & or build a 5th set of tee boxes Hole 11 is a really short par 5 from the whites were you can be putting for Eagle. The only holes with Yardage markers on the tee box are the par 3's, so the only way to actually get an idea which tee boxes are correct is to count the number of tee boxes starting at the back (black) . Playing the combination blue/white or other combo's is a good idea &'would work well of Handicap purposes only if they sort out the actual yardages of the course
Love the course layout, greens are immaculate, bunkers well placed and lovely sand, staff are amazing, cant wait to watch this course mature over the next few years and once they open the second 18 this will be an outstanding facility.
Great, clean course.
Needs a couple of more years to mature . Tons of mosquito bites
I have just finished another round at Serenity, have been out there since the course opened in early june. The course is in fantastic shape for a first year course, The greens are running around an 11 and they are running true. They have some sneaky breaks on them so you have to watch your line. I am excited about being a member and look forward to many more years there as the course continues to mature and fill in the few places that are still not quite there. I find the course, the staff amazingly friendly and inviting ( ok a few holes are not that inviting) over all well done
I had a great time playing Serenity with a couple of my girlfriends! The course looked great for being brand new. The layout made for a lot of fun and just enough challenge - I love the back 9. I even got my first hole-in-one! Yay! I am looking forward to getting out there to golf again soon.
Fun course...needs a driving range...that is coming
If your tired of Golfing beside Deerfoot and Stoney Trail and if you truly want to drive a short distance for a great round of Golf, you have to give Serenity a try. The Serenity Team has done an awesome job to open and bring this course along since early June to where it is now! This course is decievingly tough and very fun to play. Once completed this facility is going to be one of the top facilities in the Calgary area. I have golfed it many times this year so far and enjoy it more each time. Looking forward to next year when it is in top condition.
I have played here 4 times in the last 6 weeks, only once did we finish the round in under 5 hours. The wait times at the T boxes are unbearable. Some holes had 2-4 somes waiting to t off. Sheer Boredom sets in on 14 and you just cant wait to get out of there. Not a pleasant experience to be honest.
Greens we're VERY fast, but true and well maintained. Course layout was good - cut into existing brush and trees, so feels much more mature than only opening this year. Only real complaint was tee-boxes - SUPER hard could literally not get a tee into some of them; broke tees scattered everywhere as a result. Value - there are nicer tracks for the money around, but let things develop for a couple of years and Serenity will be right there - especially when practice facilities and range open up.
Customer service has been amazing each time i've played at Serenity. Lately i've been getting poor customer service from some other golf courses so it has been refreshing to see a place provide consistently good customer service. With that said I would come and play this course more often but i find the price isn't quite competitive enough for my liking. The course is fairly wide open and there is really only 2 or 3 holes that really pose a challenge. I'm sure if i move to the tips that may make it more challenging. The greens are some of best in the Calgary area. You do need to keep in mind that they are firm and a higher ball flight is more ideal. All in all, when i find a deal to play this course it shoots up near the top of my list of courses to play
I would like to re rate and review my experience at serenity. As I said previously I thought the course was great I can appreciate all the hard work put into making it happen but I had quite a poor customer service experience while golfing here. I posted my review and within a couple days I received a response from Slade King. We exchanged emails expressing my concerns and Slade was extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to make this situation right and I really appreciate that. I would like to say thank you and we will be back out there as soon as possible.
Love this new track. Serenity is an appropriate name for this quiet park like atmosphere. A nice leisurely drive out 22X winds you down from the big city and as you approach the course you are greeted by some beautiful horses and their new arrivals that are growing so fast. The course is a great layout with a great choice of tees that can test your game. The greens are quick and very true and the front nine and back nine compliment each other while being quite different from each other. The putting green is now complete and a chipping area and driving range aren't too far behind. Keep up great progress and the course is improving each time I play it.
Great course !!! Staff is awesome .
Played on a Saturday and whoever placed the pins needs his head checked. Several would have been right at home in an ironman event and didnt help the pace of play. We also had 2 carts die during the round. Decent course disapointing day.
I played the first day and again today. Wow, I loved the course before but it was a little weak condition. But now it's awesome. Greens were fast and smooth fairways are getting thicker. It's a great play. Can't wait to see what happens in 3 more weeks!
Had an amazing evening round with our family(pup included!) Great conditions, walkable course and water at every tee box so we didn't have to worry about our pup getting parched. Highly recommend, even if you don't take your dog!
great service, great value and a fun layout for golfers of all levels and abilities
If you're looking for a membership, you really shouldn't look any further than Serenity. With their payment plans & low annual dues, I highly recommend getting in early. Once this course is fully built out with a second 18-hole course, expansive practice facilities & massive club house, you won't believe that you got in for so little. I've been a member at three other courses & there's no comparing the level of service. From the smiling pro shop staff that always know your name to the on-course food & beverage delivery service (just text & your order arrives in 5-10 minutes), there's always someone knowledgeable & friendly available to assist you. As far as the course itself is concerned, it's a brand new track with some growing to do but you can expect: - Vast, complex greens that roll as true & fast as anyone could hope for - Interesting lines of sight coupled with some tight fairways to keep you on your toes from any tee box - Rough long enough to make you think twice about pulling driver - Bring plastic tees or a hammer (Cut myself on snapped wooden tees numerous times thanks to some very solid teeboxes) - Some of the best bunkers I've ever played out of thanks to the Billy Bunker system (look it up, best bunkers out there) placed in some dastardly green side locations - The peace & quiet you'd expect given its location (though the llama farm may give you some laughs on number 8 & 9) All in all, one of the best years of golf I've ever had thanks to the top notch service & attention to detail the Play Golf Calgary group cultivates at every one of their excellent courses
Just played this past weekend. All in all I was pretty satisfied with the experience. We had a very slow group in front on us but were not bothered by it. There were 2 Marshalls on the course that were very professional and assured us they were keeping an eye on the pace of play. It’s good to see golf courses pro-active when it comes to pace. I prefer to walk whenever I play and it’s great to see a new course put together a very friendly design for walkers. Seems to be a dying breed. Tee boxes definitely need work but we are taking about a course that is only a year old. Was impressed with the greens although they played extremely firm. Not overly receptive to good shots. Hopefully they will consider softening them up as this is a big contributor to slow play. Greens should hold mid iron shots landing in the middle of the green.... Looking forward to seeing what they do with the practice facilities and when they will be open. Short game area??? Thumbs up to the staff very polite and considerate. All in all it’s nice to have another decent option in SE Calgary.
Serenity...yup, that describes this newest Play Golf Calgary course to a 'T'. An easily walkable course, it offers challenges to even the most seasoned of golfers, all while remaining playable enough for rookies. The best part about Serenity, aside from the friendly staff, is Monty’s Rut. These three holes on the back nine are unforgiving yet beautiful, and personally reminded of home in northern Ontario. Even though these holes often significantly contribute to my final score, I look forward to them every time, just knowing how peaceful they are. As with anything new, there are always kinks to work out; however, the Play Golf Calgary staff have been extremely receptive to feedback and are constantly working to improve the course each and every day. Keep up the great work guys! Can't wait to get back out there!
Excellent customer service.
Played this course quite a few times since it has opened. Everytime the course is in better shape. Played many courses when they have first opened and this is by far the best. Greens roll fast and true just like any good course should. Back nine has great character as it cuts through the trees that have been on the property for years. Great course that has the ability for the good golfer to score well, while still being consistently challenging. Can't wait for this course to continue maturing and the other course and amenities to be built. Course is very walkable and with their PGC card if you have the ability to golf certain days you can get green fee rates as low as 32$ during primetimes. A rate that is fantastic for this course. Keep up the good work serenity!
Went in the clubhouse after nine and asked for a non-alcohol beer and the girl said they were all out. The manager overheard our conversation and left right then to get some more. He personally delivered a couple to us, on ice, by about the 12th hole. Great way to go above and beyond. Thanks for the excellent service.
Course is in fantastic shape for being brand new. Long, narrow fairways with the odd bunker placed perfectly to give you pause on the tee. Large, rolling greens with ever challenging pin placements to keep you on your toes. Serene is the word that comes to mind by the time you hit the second green (that is, if you don't end up in the large fairway bunker guarding against trying for the green from the tee). Fast forward a few holes and you are faced with another choice - fly the bunker and make a direct approach to the green or lay up (lest you end up in the drink) and flirt with carrying the water and well placed bunker. Turning to the back nine, the gem of the course is Monty's Rut - tall trees with deceptive fairways and no room for error will leave you wishing for more before emerging into a pair of links style holes that offer no protection from a stiff prairie wind. Coming home provides a fleeting glimpse of Monty's Rut as you navigate between thick trees and another pond. The rates are pretty reasonable, $70 to walk 18 holes (plus however many golf balls you lose), and the staff are fantastic - except for the moose. He plays hide and seek with any balls you don't put on the fairway. It's been a hot, dry summer, so some of the greens are a little firm, making them quick if you approach too fast, but otherwise the course has done remarkably well in the heat. All in all, a fantastic course that is an easy walk and offers plenty of challenge to all skill levels.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great course! My favorite course! The new nine is great!
There are very friendly people and wildlife at Serenity (it's a terrible photo but there is a moose in there, honest). I'm a member of Play Golf Calgary based at Serenity so I forget that it's not self-evident why I love playing golf at Serenity. It's mostly the people. The course is great too, for players of all abilities, and it's an easy walk.
Dancing Bull at Serenity is a fantastic course and it's only in its first year! The Gary Browning designed course is fabulous as there is a lot of variety in the layout forcing you to test your shotmaking abilities! The greens are the gem on the course! If you have ever dreamed about playing on a PGA course with lightning greens, you have come to the perfect place. You will not find faster greens in the city! I have played many of their other courses (Blue Devil, Glen Eagles) and this group knows how to operate golf facilities. I know I'll be back for many more rounds and will eagerly anticipate the opening of Suncatcher! There will be many great 36 hole days in the future!
Played here for the first time a couple weeks ago, would definitely recommend. Very pretty course and the greens were lightnning fast and rolled true.
I thought since it was a new course they'd offer some incentive pricing to get people out to try it, but this is not the case. It was $90 for 18, but should probably be closer to $70 given its current state. The roughs are knee length grass, and the greens are hard as concrete and very fast. The good news is you won't have to repair a ball divot since it's too hard of greens to make a mark. The horse flies were absolutely out of control on the hot day we played. Got bitten multiple times, reminded me of my days in northern Alberta. I think this course has potential, but I'll probably give it a few more years before I return and hopefully by then it will be worth the price tag. I did however find the staff to be very courteous and helpful. I think the new club house they have planned will bring it up to the higher class facility they are aiming for.
since i joined i have watched the course mature weekly i have been impressed with the effort put in by all the staff and looking forward to the future.
A good, fun golf course to play. Back nine is very exciting, with 3 Par 5s, and a drivable Par 4. Hopefully the greens keep developing!
Not the best day.. Our cart was a jalopy from the 60's and we waited on every hole on the back nine. Unfortunately, the Marshal wasn't keeping people on pace. Two full holes gap.
Great day and the course is in fantastic shape
Not worth the money. Wife and I went there, with no information except the sign on the highway. We expected to have dinner as it shows a restaurant sign. Lo and behold, dried out hot dogs and sandwiches. What a disappointment. So starved. No Marshalls on the course and people in front of us were 3 holes behind as they were teaching their wives and could care less that they fell behind. Greens are green but brutally fast like your on concrete. Tapped for a one footer and it kept going off the green about 15ft away. Take your restaurant sign down. Its misleading. Put a hot dog sign up. Water the greens so the non pros can enjoy it. Course otherwise was nice.
Played it June 8/17. Great staff but the course itself is not worth the money. Maybe should have opened in 2018.
Customer service was great however the course was in terrible shape - our group will never go back. They should have delayed opening until course conditions could validate the higher price tag. Comparable to any municipal course, or worse.
Great new facility, competent friendly staff and groundskeepers are doing a great job. Highly recommend visiting this excellent course.
Play here weekly on the men’s league. Great value, great staff and great times!
Great new course! Loved the layout, it was a good mix of holes that you can go after and that you have to play smart. It's in great shape for a new course and the greens are already rolling true. Staff was awesome, really enjoyed my experience.
Cant wait to play it! looks awesome!
Played a couple of times now, a course with great upcoming potential. To bad grounds crew could use a lesson in course etiquette!! Lots of other great courses to play without the the guy cutting fairway grass 20 yards away while you try to hit without shutting down and then follow you all the way to the green and leave it in full throttle as we all try to putt as he sits there with his arms over his head! Be a while before I'm give it another chance!
