REVIEWS OF Lee Creek Valley Golf Course IN Alberta

Tom Richards

Beautiful course and challenging. This picture is from the t box on 17.

Dan Boutwell

Best golfing value in North America.

Neal Shade

This is a challenging course and unforgiving on some tee shots. This makes it especially important that you make a straight 1st shot. The greens are well kept. I have golfed here all my life and have seen the course go from a 9 hole to 18 hole course. Now they are building houses down behind the 13th green and along the 11th fairway. I like that idea, I just do not like the extra stress of worrying about breaking a window and having to deal with a homeowner? I guess I will have to make sure I never hook a shot off the 11th tee box. Which is a good thing, because I usually slice the ball to the right away from the new houses anyway... There was a tournament organized by Floyd Big Head last weekend they had some great prizes and was a good production by the organizer and Lee Creek Staff. They had a hole in one prize of a 2017 Chev Silverado Truck, sadly no one made an ace on that hole. This is a good golf course and will continue to play here next season.

Winslow “GrandpaWins” Davis

Course was nice, kids at pro shop were so unprofessional and course should get people who arent just helping their friends golf where ever they want. They would not honor Canada Golf App..

Tate Leavitt

Beautiful course with lots of elevation changes.

Alan Sabey

Tough course. Excellent condition and beautiful views. Highly recommend the drive.

Bill Heighington

Golfed 36 holes, course was in great shape, staff were pleasant and helpful. Pace of play was excellent. Replay rate was reasonable as well.

Scott Sailer

Had the chance to play this golf course again since high school and It was just as great than as It is now. The course offers a good challenge for all players with a lot of up and downs and some water features but still can make your way around and have a lot of fun. The club house is small and just offers what you need to get around the course. We didn’t have a cart girl the day we played which was to bad because It was very hot outside and would have supported It. The carts are great and rip around the course fast, with not to many holes that say stay on cart path only. I would love to play here again and suggest if you have time to head out and play It. Thanks team.

Ron Smith

A gem

Darren Atwood

A truly amazing course that makes the most of its coulees and the river bottom. Friendly staff, reasonable rates, and a well maintained course. This course is on the edge of the foothills and there’s a good chance you might encounter some wildlife.

Evan Row

Take the carts slow on 8

Dave Lutz

Fantastic course

Bruce Brown

I played this course in the summer of 2019 with my sons and found it to be quite a challenging course. It is quite picturesque and has some interesting holes on it. I think though that have over done the tee boxes that are high up on the rim of the valley. Nice to have one or two as signature type holes but should have stopped there. Also found the pace of play on the day we played to be much too slow at least on the front nine. There is no marshalling and so waited far too long on a few while groups in front looked for lost balls. The signage directing you to the next hole was very insufficient and as it was our first time on the course we did end up on the wrong tee box a couple of times on the front nine. I played this course again 4 times in 2020 and always enjoyed the experience. The clubhouse staff are always great and a pleasure to deal with. The course was in good shape. The pace of play varied this year round by round. Some days were fine but on a couple of occasions got behind some slow players and waited longer than one should have to, but on the whole not as bad as the previous year. One thing that I could do without is the running of the irrigation system during the day. On one occasion standing on No. 8 tee box a sprinkler came on mere feet from me for just long enough to thoroughly soak me before I could even move. Another time it soaked us as we approached the 18th green. Overall this course is worth playing and we will be back probably several times next summer.

Great course that was not busy 70 per person for a day is great

Nina Balan

The clubhouse is a little grubby but the views were stellar and the course was in beautiful shape!

This is the first time my friends and I have ever played the Lee Creek Golf Course in Cardston. What an absolutely fabulous hidden gem close to the US border inside of Alberta Canada. We had heard stories and rumors of what a great track it was, but playing is believing. The tee boxes all the way to the greens were in pristine condition. The course is mature lined with various challenges including water, sand and several elevation changes. There are no trick holes and is extremely well laid out to offer every skill level a challenge. We will definitely be coming back to this place not only for how much we enjoyed it but it was extremely reasonably priced and only about 2 hours south of Calgary.

Rene Jacob

Course in great shape. Working to keep the leaves under control

Mike Durrant

Beautiful challenging course for a great price!

Shem Simmons

Very impressive course for the size of the Town. Lots of variety between holes and reasonably priced compared to surrounding courses.

Elmer Soldier

If you can play Lee Creek..the other courses are easy

Ian Thomson

We normally enjoy this course. Not this year. Between maintenance crew not caring about golfers, but we hear they aren't supposed to, to the point of working greens while we are approaching. Telling us to put our own flags in after they are done sanding greens. Thought we weren't supposed to touch flags re covid. Turning sprinklers on as we approach different greens or fairways. We were dodging sprinklers, not successfully at times and having to rush shots between 2 sprinklers and at one point 4 sprinklers. Really dissatisfied and disappointed in course management of a very nice course. We won't be bringing our group of 12 paying golfers back again.

Tarolyn Aaserud

Very nice course!

David McFalls

Truly a gem

Ken Dahl

Beautiful views from many of the holes easy to see old faithful

Robert Beebe

George

A hidden gem in SW Alberta. Many elevated tee boxes and challenging greens

Nathan Goobie

One of my favourite courses to play. A lot of variety with different elevations and hole shapes. A fun place to play some golf!

Jason Heninger

Chad Fletcher

Fun course and great finishing holes in the front 9. Definitely a track I'll play again!

Robbi Bottle

Windy but fun

Andy Miciak

I like the course overall, the staff are friendly and it is quite scenic. Not a fan of all the blind tee shots but overall a fun course.
