If I could afford it (and get a tee time) I would golf this course every day. Never gets old! Great food, great people!

Anthony Siferd

Great shape, kept the pace and was humbled by Lorrett once again.

Craig H

This is a SPECTACULAR golf course! If you get the opportunity and privilege to play DO NOT PASS IT UP!! It is absolutely outstanding! Kananaskis Mt. Lorette, & Mt. Kidd

Andrew Murney

Premier golf course in Alberta. Was in fantastic condition this fall 2018. Some of the fairways were recently opened to carts. Greens were hard and fast and consistent. Play both 18’s if you can - totally worth it. Staff was friendly. Use valet parking!

Albertas best scenic course, 36 holes of great golf and views. Still one of the great golf destinations!! Clubhouse open for meals, and it was very good "clubhouse grub"

tom twells

Awesome Track and great staff, Keep up the good work guys ???? ????

Shel McDonald

Such a beautiful golf course, but it's a shame that they are treating their good customers so poorly over their gift card scheme, and not telling people about their cart path only rules until after you've paid your green fees and get to the t-box, where most people aren't going to cancel at that stage!! Very disappointing!!

Jillian Elle

The views are absolutely breathtaking and the greens are kept in fantastic condition. Staff was very friendly

Nestled in the Rockies, amidst lush green; and rows of Pine split by a river - by which it gets its name - Kananaskis is a must for any golfer of any grade An experience so memorable - the charm stayed on after my first round here some 10 years ago At an altitude of 5000 ft and guarded by Mt. Kidd, wind is non-existent and the ball really flies through the thin air…so club down!! And slow down between shots as you take it all in…!!

Young hoggY

Views are great! Played Kidd course. Greens were freshly sanded so that wasn't great but still enjoyed, even met a bear on course.

Dave Woeckener

Staff were amazing. We couldn't have asked for better weather either (which we know isn't up to the golf course at all.... But hey with views like this how can you not be impressed ). Covid was handled really well, have a great system in place. The only annoyance is the ball retraction system on the green. Otherwise a perfect 10/10

Ivan Sierralta

Fantastic golf course. Alberta's best value for money. The curse is in great conditions!

Rachael

This golf course is amazing!! Love both courses and they're kept in such great shape. Also everyone who works at Kananaskis is so kind, friendly and helpful. Best experience

For Alberta residents there most likely isn't a better deal in golf than Kannaskis Golf Course. Two courses totaling 36 homes of picturesque sceneary so make sure you have a fully charged device. The staff are friendly and helpful and be sure to get a hotdog at the turn, they have serious toppings. Even if you are from out of province or country the course is worth golfing and still one of the best bangs for buck in this beautiful part of the world.

There’s really little comparison to other courses around. This one is amazing! I was especially impressed with the course staff, the restaurant staff and the check in staff. COVID has put lots of people out but they made you feel important.

Peter

Played Lorette yesterday. Awesome day. Hadn't played the course in a while. Won't wait as long to return. Every hole a postcard

Tyrell Scott

One of the best golf facilities in all of Canada! Beautiful views, amazing course condition and wonderful staff make for a very enjoyable day. The clubhouse restaurant has pretty darn good food, drinks and service.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Mount Kidd finally opened this weekend after having to rebuild all 18 holes following devastating floods and the course was in amazing shape. We were treated like royalty right from the moment we drove up to the bag drop, the valet, the pro shop and the starter. Then there are the amazing views. We found it tough to keep pace because of the number of times we stopped to take killer pics. One of the most memorable moments was the level of after care. I had made a few purchases in the pro shop but left a $2 felt market behind. The pro shop attendant ran up to the clubhouse (not a short distance) to give it to me. I can't remember her name but we were there at about 5pm and would love to see her get recognition. My only regret is that I wish I could golf this resort more often.

Having a place like this at only one hour drive from Calgary is a privilege and a treat for us golf lovers. Course is in impeccable condition

Scott Koyich

An absolute GEM in Canada. Breath taking vistas and an amazing 36 holes of golf. Service in clubhouse is great and food is not disappointing! They have adopted the famous Briggs burger from Calgarys award winning Briggs Kitchen and Bar. A must have in both Kananakis and The Calgary area. An amazing experience all together!!

Brett Pawlak

First class!!! From the greeting at the valet parking to the pro shop and the cart/grounds crew, everyone was absolutely spectacular! Didn't get a chance to try the lounge this time - I'll be back for sure!

Kyle D

Truly an amazing experience for the avid golfer. The only negative seems to be when scheduling more than a 4 some, they got it wrong for the group I layed with . That and also CART pATH only. …

Marshall Strong

Absolutely amazing course! Assume to play slower as every time you hit a ball you’re left in awe for a moment! Very affordable local rates as well!

Sanjiv Save

Well..best place on the planet to play golf..especially if you are Albertan..its a bargain. Both courses are excellent..they do brilliant job to keep course well.. will sturggle.to.find a flaw

Mike Hoyles

I'll never get enough of this course. It's the perfect balance of enjoyable and challenging, in a world-class mountain setting. The scenery can rival any course on earth. The service is a 10. Just a fantastic golf getaway for individuals or for groups.

Brett Noiles

Not only was the golf outstanding, but the food was the best food we had on our entire trip. My wife and I are still dreaming about the beef dip and crispy chicken sandwich + hot sauce, let alone the patio views.

Pete Florchinger

The booking for 2021 is absolutely terrible! I've tried time and time again. I get to the booking section only to have a message appear that the booking has been cancelled by the user! This is absurd! Can't get through to anyone on the …

Aimee Lim

Design by our very own the late Bobby Jones of Georgia. World class. The mountain as backdrop is very scenic. Highly recommended.

I really hate doing this because the K is phenomenal, but today's round on Lorette was painfully slow. 5+ hours. While the Marshall apparently spoke to the group in front of us three times, nothing changed. Every par 5 they had nothing but a wide open hole in front of them. While we sat and waited watching them tee off. Just look at the photos. You'd think the Marshall or they would have us play through, but nope. Anyways I expect 5 hour rounds in the city but today was disappointing. I get its not often like this out there but someone needed to move them along.

Evelyn Squires

This is a beautiful course!! Staff were eager to help and friendly everywhere! We had brunch before we started in the restaurant and it was fabulous as well. Stunning scenery...hope to get back again one day!

Jastaig Chahal

Gorgeous! The course is public and discounted to Alberta residents. The course is well maintained and the views are incredible. A gem and an important part of Alberta parks.

Nightsofneep

Great golf course in the mountains. Not cheap for Alberta residents $130. I like the course. 5 tboxes at all holes. Food is good at the 19th.

Blair Norton

It was unfortunate that there was smoke from the fires in BC that hid the true beauty of this golf course, just the same this course should be on everyone's list of courses to golf. There are some long holes depending on which tees you golf from. Having said that, this is not an easy course, there is no shortage of sand on this course and there isn't a hole that doesn't have a bunker.

brian dale

Awesome course, and service. Pace of play was excellent.

Doug Spensley

It's back. We had a great experience today. Very impressed by the service and courtesy of ALL the staff. The course is mostly in perfect condition, with some rough being worked on. The scenery, of course, is the best anywhere. Only 2 really little details, that might fix themselves soon - no visible menu at the halfway house, and no craft beer in the clubhouse. Again the best deal in golf for Albertans.

Spliffrite “Spliffrite”

I’ve photographed a couple golf tournaments here, and I am absolutely astonished as to how amazing the staff culture is. The team that they have built over there is incredible and everyone is just happy to be there, which of course (hehe) reflects the overall quality of the course and service you receive! This goes without saying that it’s one of the absolute most beautiful places you can golf in Alberta.

Jerin Soman

Gorgeous looking golf course

Brad Randall

World class facility and staff. Epic backdrop on every hole. A must play when in K country.

Eric Kroetch

Wow! This is a first class golf course. Staff, course condition, and the setting is hard to beat. Worth the drive and every penny. Get out there and play it, you won't be disappointed!

Ian Baker-Finch

Wonderful golf experience !! 2 Great courses with stunning views all day. Friendly staff, Awesome golf shop, F&B ideal.

Robert Robinson

Played Mt. Lorette yesterday; absolutely stunning course! The layout is brilliant in its ability to appeal to all levels of skill. The course plays comfortably for your average player, with wide fairways and forgiving roughs. While higher skill players will find the fairway bunkers and water hazards appointed to positions that make you hit your target, and punish mistakes. This is accomplished by having 6 tee box options with the Orange and black tees adding the afore mentioned chalenges. While the blue tees play similar to the whites, they offer a little more challenge by ensuring you need the distance to clear the fairways bunkers. You could play from each tee box and almost feel like you were playing a different course each time. The greens were in great shape and I found them to be on the fast side (which I really enjoy)! The scenery alone is breathtaking, and this finely crafted course takes full advantage of its surroundings. At $98 (for Albertans residences), this course is competitively priced with most places you can play around the Calgary area, which sort of makes it a bargain in terms of what you get for the price! If you haven't played here yet, it is more than worth the trip into K-Country for the experience! Make sure you have a camera with you!

Anyone who complains about this course is not from this universe. Golfer or not, how can you not love this place? Beauty everywhere you look. For golfers, nothing but exceptional service right when you arrive. Great condition!!! Greens are a little slower than I remember before the floods but they did an amazing job bringing Lorette back. Kidd almost be complete with front 9 opening June or end of June 2018???

Fisher Ferreira

It was a light rain day but the experience was once again amazing an absolute 5 out of 5. Ended up having really late dinner at Clubhouse food was great service was good. We are just blessed to have such a gem of a golf course here in Alberta at such incredible rates.

Me Me

We played Mt Kidd with nice people. The golf course is enjoyable, straightforward, with spectacular views, but I still like to play Mt Loretta. The team is amazing. Thank you for your service.

Matt Thibault

Beautiful course! Wonderful restoration after the flood. Easily walkable and amazing views. Looking forward to coming back and playing Mt. Kidd when it opens.

Ryun Kenney

Played Mt Kidd. Amazing course!

Mark Steiger

Beautiful! Great shape. Fast greens. Windy AF. Enjoy!1

Susan Zurawell

Such a beautiful setting. We are so fortunate to have this golf course so close to Calgary. Had the pleasure of golfing here twice last week. Had so much fun. Thank you starter Steve B. Everyone is so friendly and genuinely happy to have people there. We even had the adventure of seeing a bear running along the fairway of hole 5 on the Lorette Course. I wasn't quick enough to capture a photo.

Steve Anderson

Spectacular views. Many choices of tee boxes for fair play. Many sand traps but well maintained with quality white sand

John wall

I played Mt Kidd, the course was great and it was in good shape but it was a very slow pace of play (5 hour round) making it very hard to get any kind of rhythm. You would think for this kind of course that pace of play would be important to them but when we mentioned it the the marshal she didn't think anything of it. I will not be back anytime soon

Aaron Grey

Amazing is all I can say. If youre an Alberta resident, you get a discount. Whether you're from Alberta or not this is a "must play" course. We were lucky enough to see a black wolf on hole #13

John Cannon

Best golf course in Canada, scenic, challenging and in amazing condition!

Jill Stewart

Very proud to be able to golf this beautiful course in our home province. Course is in awesome shape.

S. H

Stunning views all around the course, and well kept! A bit cold in late May (6-3°C)but it won't stop us to play such a scenic course. Good for beginner too. Worth to go!

Patrick Michalko

Beautiful golf course nestled in the mountains. 2 separate courses. The Mt Lorette side plays well for beginner golfers. Open fairways. Course in excellent condition. Price is excellent for the location playing. Carts stay on pathways to protect the grass.

Josh A

Breathtaking views, well manicured course, great hospitality... An absolute must!

Tony Schimmel

Very well kept golf course with beautiful views of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Ben Ireland

Such an incredible golf course. Your day starts off great with a greeting at the bag drop. The starter is well-informed and provides a good amount of information about the golf course, not to mention her attitude was great. The facilities …

Bryan Cousin

Beautiful venue for a golf course. It is great to see this course return after the flood and it is in great shape. Everyone should try to play Kananaskis once in their life.

Spencer Higginson

Played the new look Kananaskis Golf Course in June 2018, and what an outstanding job they did in bringing this beauty back to it's original shape. Tip of the hat to all the staff for job well done. By the way.....stay out of the sand traps....probably the most difficult ones in Alberta to hit out of!
