Not worth the price for the poor condition of the course. Greens were some of the worst we've seen all season.

AC87

Such a picturesque course. I feel 8 minute tee times is too often. Took us 5 1/2 hours to play 18. We were waiting on every hole on the front nine. Play speeded up a but on the back. The speakers on the carts are a nice feature, but was really disappointed that there were no GPS on the carts. Lastly, snacks/drinks are far to expensive.

Connor

Absolutely stunning course. There's a reason it's rated as top five in Canada and certainly lived up to it today.

Jim Lochhead

Challenging golf in a beautiful setting.

DJ B

Beautiful course. Great service and kind helpful employees. No cart gps, water, tees or starter announcements were a little disappointing for the cost/caliber of this course. Extremely expensive on course snacks! Still is a must play for traveling golf enthusiasts, just throw a few drinks and snacks in your bag if you're on a budget.

Awesome staff for a Awesome course

Great condition, senic views on many holes!

The course is in fantastic shape. Maybe paring the 18th influenced my rating I don't know.

Played here this past weekend, stayed at the resort all weekend long. The course is a beautiful sight to see, they offer championship tees which make the course more challenging. I have golfed all over the country & I was really disappointed in a few things which is why I can’t give this course a 5 star review. I use a Garmin approach s60 for my GPS at all course but to see the cost of this round & no carts equipped with GPS was mediocre as even some municipal courses in Alberta have them ????.

Great course with all the amenities.

Love this course, the scenic backdrops, how relaxed the feel is and the fact that you’re almost assured to have your round interrupted by some picturesque wildlife ????

This has to be one of the most picturesque courses I have ever played. I've been to Banff and Highlands Links (I love Stanley Thompson designs), and other Thompson designs. That being said the golf is really what matters and this is a very busy course which can cause some delays but you are pre-warned of this and the 4 1/2 hr rate of play should be expected. The fairways are receptive and the greens are also very playable and fair. One of the par 5 (13 I believe) has a significant ground hog problem and even makes some of the area (two of the bunkers) fairly unplayable. Not sure what can be done to correct this but in the end it did detract from the experience. I was lucky in that I managed to get the Alberta resident rate and played here for just under $200 (yes $200). It was a golf bucket list course for me so I had to make the trip but at that rate it will be my only visit. It is a 5 star experience but not at that price (or even more for out of province visitors) If you can afford it it is a must play.

The best one

A great mountain golf course to test your skills, set in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Customer service is exceptional today. And the course plays generous off the tee, and demands a good positional game. Have fun

A Thompson classic, excellently designed, in a picturesque environment. Tough year for weather so conditions were so-so, even at end of August, but the views and overall playability will leave a lasting impression on all levels of golfer. Expensive? Yes. But it’s a worthwhile, memorable experience.

Cal Caldwell

Beautiful course with great after 4pm pricing for 5 or 9 holes.

Another Stanley Thompson GEM!! One of the best courses in the country. Conditions are always amazing and the service matches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great golf trip!

Exceptional all around golf experience ???? iconic Stanley Thompson design (#1) in superb condition. Friendly staff and locals made our day so enjoyable. Thanks to Tahlon,Troy and all your team.

Eight of us played JP on the weekend for the final round of a golf trip and we couldn't have been more disappointed. The scenery and views were of course beautiful and the staff were all good but the course was in horrible shape with some of the worst greens we'd seen all year - and the round took more than 5 hours to play. We all agreed afterwards that it was easily the most overrated and overpriced course any of us had ever played. I would say that ALL of the other premier mountain courses I have played (Kananaskis, Grey Wolf, Stewart Creek, Talking Rock, Tobiano etc.) are significantly better courses. Super deflating experience and would not recommend others to play it at its current price point.

Matt Murray

Christina out at the 7/11 hut on the golf course provided great service!

Kyle Pisani

5.5 hour round with very poor course conditions. Not worth the price.

It was good. Not challenging at all

Very friendly people, great place - absolutely inviting.

Jim McMahon

Unbelievable track with spectacular scenery everywhere you look. Great golf course

Daniel Martin

Terrible conditions. Not worth the price

Nathan Douglas (Naterade1333)

One of the nicest courses I have ever played in my life. Would have been a 5-star review if not for the host at the entrance to the clubhouse. One of the rudest people I have ever experienced at a golf course and left a real negative impression of my visit. Everything else was top notch except for him.

Matthew Brame

Great place

Six of us played two rounds of golf. Not impressed overall for a variety of reasons but on July 18 we were behind EIGHT golfers participating in a tournament. We were backed up with a number of other golfers. One of our groups were told by Troy they were 40 minutes ahead of pace. He also told them we should be charged the Alberta rate of $159.00 instead of what we paid $179.00 (twilight rate) but the manager said that was not correct. We will not be recommending your course to anyone.

This course and Banff Springs are iconic Stanley Thompson courses and they’re both beautiful but they play very differently. The one in Jasper has more generous fairways and is far less stressful but also has less wildlife on course. The service is amazing and the views are incredible. Don’t skip this one, thank me later.

Paired with an awesome couple and had so much fun. Only went for 9 holes as it was out of our budget a little but then saw a bear on Hole 9 so they let us finish up a few more! Beautiful course.

Thank you to Tahlon and his team for exceptional service. Staff are always professional and super friendly. Looking forward to the 2021 golf season.

Best resort in Canada

We were very excited to play Jasper park Lodge. Most of the staff were excellent, but the pro shop workers were extremely rude. They were unfriendly and impolite from the moment we walked in. Then they tried to tell us we had only booked for 6 players when we had booked for 7. Thankfully we had the emails to verify our booking. From start to finish, our experience in the pro shop was unpleasant and uncomfortable. It's too bad because it set the tone for our experience at the course. Otherwise, the course was in good shape and all other staff were wonderful. Just quite shocked to encounter such bad customer service at a high end, expensive course. Would recommend keeping all emails in case they double book you and try to fight you on it.......

Fantastic golf course. Nice view. Well maintained condition and friendly staff. Definitely will come again.
