To this day this business receives a score of 4.6 stars over 5 and the score is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is nearly the top, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we may conclude that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is classified in the category of Public golf course.
Beautiful place to golf!
Played the course May 6,2nd day it was open. The course was not in great shape but understandable because of the late spring. Many tee boxes are elevated with the fairway or greens well below. Layout is nothing special but not unfair. Greens can be severe when in summer conditions as they have good undulations. Paid just under $50 per person including cart but this was a special rate. Normally green fees are $99, which includes power cart per person. The course is not worth paying that price. I've played many courses in Alberta, and throughout Canada and USA, that gave better layouts and much cheaper green fees.
Just go, the whole program is legit. Amazing golf course, staff, and amenities. Would give 6 stars if possible
Great Course
Tough course with great staff and food
Very nice course and very well maintained. Will definitely return. Went for lunch in the restaurant after, and the patio and food is amazing! Very reasonable rate as well.
Immaculate course. Very challenging, but every hole is worth it. The course will force you to use every club in your bag. Tons of elevation change. Super fast greens.
Course is in amazing shape. One of the nicest places to golf in central Alberta.
What gem in central Alberta. Beautiful shape fairways and greens. Great layout and very fun to play. Super burger in the clubhouse cold beer. Friendly staff and did i mention a gem in central Alberta???? Ended up playing again with a larger group. We all had dinner after the round and the meals were enjoyed and served promptly with a friendly smile. Nicely done
Tee time was 1:37 on Tuesday. We walked off 18 at 6:47. Not a starter or marshal to be seen. Great course but that shows terrible management. There is absolute no need for this. Probably won’t be back. This was my second round there this year. First one was slow but I blamed it on the Misty rain. No excuse today. Sunny and 23. To add to the disappointment, there were a million wasps. Lady in front got stung twice. My wife once and one lady behind us once.
Nice course in great shape and reasonably priced
Windy as, but course was in great shape.
Beautiful and challenging!
One of the best courses in all of Alberta. Truly a hidden gem.
best course around
Beautiful setting, nice amenities
Went there for lunch on the patio. Great view, relaxing atmosphere, small sandwiches.
All I can say is if you have never golfed this course you need to!! Absolutely beautiful!! Can't say enough about it, but you need to see for your self.
Great course! Very unique and challenging, elevated tee boxes and greens make it fun!
This is one of the best golf courses in central Alberta. 27 holes course keep most of golfers entertain. Challenging but fair, hard to find flat ground...test your golf swing. Must play golf course!
I recently bought a set of Taylormade golf clubs from Innisfail Golf Course in an effort to support local. I was amazed with the competitive pricing to the big box stores. The customer service from golf pro Jim Boomer was awesome. I felt no need to shop around as his price was extremely fair. Just over a year later we found a small defect forming on the face of the Irons, after contacting Taylormade Canada they confirmed that they would cover under warranty, Taylormade asked that I contact the golf course to make a claim. Without question Jim agreed to place a warranty claim with taylormade and replace my clubs with a new set (happens to be the newest model) Jim went a step further and said he would replace my set on the spot to avoid shipping them away and having down time. So glad i made the choice to stay local, I will be a customer for life if this level of customer service is maintained.
Fantastic golf course
Great food and fun atmosphere.
Beautiful golf course
Love it!
Golf course was in great shape for the time of year. No bugs. Food in the restaurant was really good and nice selection of beers.
Excellent course, maybe a bit tuff for me but also very scenic. Made me feel like I was on a professional golf course like the ones on TV. Lots of elevation change. I think if you play it a few times you would get to know where to aim better. All of our group liked this course and would go again as we drove all the way from Calgary to play it as we had heard good things.
Absolutely love this course
Very good lunch menu and quite tasty food.
Hidden Alberta golf course gem! 27 holes, well managed and a true woodland challenge. Bring your straight clubs!
Great course. Clubhouse, Pro shop and Snack shack staff were great. All very friendly and accommodating.
Great condition
Beautiful course, great condition. If your game is off the ego can take a beating but even then you'll want to play it again to try and redeem yourself. I'm still trying! :-)
The course is very well kept and cleanliness throughout the golf club is immaculate! They also had a decent selection on the menu and the food was great!
A beautiful course all greens are amazing.
Great course, great people, great fun
Great place!
The course is amazing and the food is astounding
The course is kept in immaculate condition. Every hole is challenging, unique and beautiful. The new restaurant is a great addition.
Great track! All the amenities you'd need!
I've been golfing here off and on for about 30 years. It's quite a beautiful course no matter which holes your playing. If you get the opportunity to golf here, take it, if you don't you'll regret such a poor decision. The only negative thing i could say is that i haven't been here for a few years now due to the simple fact i can't really afford it as I've had a relatively non existent disposable income...IGC still gets 5 stars outta me though.
Great track. Fair prices on food and drink.
Fun day out. Don't get near the forest or the mosquitoes will carry you away. Interesting course
Awesome
Well kept and challenging
Lovely course, greens slow.
This is Alberta's hidden gem of a golf course. 3 challenging 9's make up 27 holes. Pro shop staff is the best I have run across! A definite must play golf course
The restaurant was #1, great food, excellent service and always smiles! We do not golf but love this restaurant anytime!
Fantastic course and best kept secret in central Alberta
Played yesterday. The blue t boxes were in rough shape. Greens and fairways were good. Stopped for a drink and a snack after. What a mistake the dry ribs and flat bread were horrible. Will not try to eat there again. Will come back to play.
Best golf in Alberta.
Great golf:):) Four of us had really good meals. :):):):)
Great time, nice course
Great staff and beautiful views. The course is very well kept and players are respectable. By far the best course I've played.
Beautiful course, with friendly staff but our afternoon golf was ruined by slow play. 5 hour round not acceptable. At one hole there were 3 groups waiting on the tee box. I would not go back again.
While playing a round of 9 with my parents, husband, brother, and children my parents inadvertently drove their golf cart onto a no cart part of the fairway as we approached the green. Out of nowhere a member of the club came barreling towards them yelling and swearing. My husband had to run off the green to my parents cart to protect them and our one of our kids (7 year old boy) from this person. My husband had to physically protect them. That’s how unglued this guy was. My parents are in their 70’s and had no clue they had done anything wrong or why they were being screamed at. From there, things went downhill. All of our adrenaline was racing and we missed a turn and wound up playing on a wrong part of the course. When the Marshall brought this to our attention he was rude and condescending. We could not get off the course fast enough. We didn’t eat at the clubhouse (we planned to) but went elsewhere as we were trying to celebrate a birthday. We will never be back. Super self-important and spectacularly tone deaf staff and members ruined what was supposed to be a memorable family fun day. I cried most of the 2 hours it took to get home.
Thanks to Michelle and all the other staff! The course was excellent, the staff was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this beautiful golf course to anyone. Marv SilverSands golf.
One of the best courses Alberta has to offer.
Nice course. Tuff track
Of course is an amazing shape. Staff are friendly. Definitely Play It Again
beautiful golf course! challenging.
Great Course, Friendly Staff, Good Value! Looking forward to my next round!
The Course is in fantastic condition, well manicured and such beautiful flowers. The course layout is challenging but not overly difficult, staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant which appears to be new served up a great lunch, attentive staff at a reasonable price. Thanks for a great day. We will definitely be back.
Well kept, challenging course. One of the best in central Alberta
Better have your game in shape. Play smart and keep the driver in your bag on most of the holes. This course is all about your tee shot. You can score here if you can shape your tee shots and keep the ball in fairway. The greens are smooth and run true. Staying on the low side of pin gives you an opportunity to be aggressive. Staff are awesome. The course offers some local beer choices which are tasty. One of the best courses in Alberta.
Phenomenal track and awesome greens.
Still a hidden gem. Beautiful course three solid nines, 27 holes. Got my first Albatross on the par 5 #9 Spruce so will never forget!
Excellent course good condition. Club house is nice
Beautiful facility and pleasany restaurant staff.
Lots of trees to eat your golf balls
Great course, excellent food, great staff
Greens ran true, in a picturesque setting. Best course this year.
Great place to stay. Clean. Good service. Priced right. I'll be staying at this chain again.
Beautiful course! Well worth the $100 premium (including cart). Will definitely play this again. (Quite hilly and wouldn't recommend walking unless you feel like burning serious Cals)
Tough greens, will bring abacus to keep track of putts next time. Great course and good people.
Great golf course. A hidden gem.
Gem
Beautiful place to golf in Central Alberta
Played there for the first time this week, course was challenging but very nice. The staff in the pro shop and restaurant were very friendly. Great experience Brad
Great conditions, friendly staff, drinks were reasonably priced.
Gorgeous course
Delicious food! And the service was wonderful
Magnificent golf course, I have played all three nines and they are spectacular. All the staff we met are very polite and professional. The major problem is the pace of play and how the course responds to it. Last year we had multiple groups of golfers and we found ourselves behind very a slow group while no marshall addressed the problem. We were not happy but did not say anything as we attributed it to a one time event. We were all very excited to have the opportunity to challenge our skills against the course again this year without all the drama. I would like to say that things were different, however in fact things were worse. We found ourselves behind an even slower group again this year an we all waited on every shot of every hole on the front nine. At the turn the Marshall directed our first group to play through. He approached our second group and indicated that he informed the slow group that if they didn't keep up with our first group he would move them. He to add insult to injury he moved the group behind us to a different nine so they wouldn't have the same experience. Needless to say things didn't improve. When we returned one of their lost clubs on the 3rd hole we asked the slow group if we could play through, but they refused. After taking more than 1/2 hour to play the 4th hole I phoned the proshop to get the Marshall. Only then did they let us play through as the Marshall watched them play from a distance. The biggest problem that I have is with the Head Pro, Jim Boomer. He stood at a distance while I explained our experience after the round to the very polite and professional young proshop employee. He did not step in and take responsibility for the situation at that time. He then approached our group later on the patio and personally requested that I send him an email detailing our experience. He indicated he would respond to my email regarding our experience. I sent the email and have not received any type of response to date. Innisfail Golf Course is a high end golf course with a high end price and one would expect a high end experience. With so many excellent golf courses in and around the area we would not recommend playing this golf course.
What an incredible course for a small town. Amazing shape, the the club house had excellent food. 27 holes.
Absolutely amazing course and the food was out of this world. I went just to eat.
At the begin season, Alberta have a extreme weather, But the course already have very good shape. ( And use VIP booked tee time only pay 45 bucks for round )
This is a great golf course. Beautiful and accommodating. If you are a beginner just know it's a little bit harder but the pay off is amazing.
Friendly staff and well maintained. A little expensive compared to other courses in the area and they don't allow walking.
One of the most challenging couses in canada.nice staff great food.
My update on this matter-I have spoken with Matt at the Innisfail Golf Club. The air has been cleared and I appreciate the club working with us regarding the experience my family had last week. I have confidence that future visits to IGC will be more pleasant. Thank you Matt! My daughter is just learning how to golf. My father wanted to golf with his granddaughter at this course. They barely got through the first two holes and the staff were already on their cases about going faster. Then they were told to go to a different part of the course. They were at one hole for only a few minutes and getting told to move on again by the staff. I understand they were busy and booked solid, but that does not give the staff or management any right to be so pushy, rude and inconsiderate. Everyone has to start somewhere and can’t stay at the driving range. $200 is a lot of money to pay to golf and then to get treated so poorly. I read all the rules and regulations on their website, which says a game is estimated about 4 hours. My father and daughter were basically hurried off the course in just over 2 hours. There is nothing stating time limits at each hole. I would say this puts a sour taste in my daughter’s mouth and angers my father and myself. Since golfing is seasonal, there are no slow times to learn the sport. Very disappointed!
Beautiful course
Have never had a bad experience with staff. Or quality of the tough course, food at divots changes with monthly specials so always something new on the menu. The pro staff above and beyond professional and very accommodating for lessons and pro shop fittings. 9 n dine deal is my favorite due to time constraints . Check it out for 2019 .
