The restaurant has very good service and excellent food. I personally love thier wings they are crispy and very tasty i love thier honey garlic ones. Thier fries and onion rings are good as well. The staff is always very nice and the place is clean.

The most beautiful golf course that isn’t $100+. I feel like I’m in a park when I play here. The water and the natural beauty is unbeatable. Well kept and speedy greens.

Their new menu was a true disappointment. My mother and I went for lunch today. Her taco salad was nothing more than ground beef over wilted brown edged lettuce with a wiff of cheese and tomato. Then to add insult to injury we were initially charged an extra $5 for the meat on her salad till we pointed out that error to the waitress. I wonder how many people paid an extra $5. I had a Ruben special and when I asked what were the sides Caesar salad was a named option but was not told for a 3" ramekin 3/4 full it was an extra $1.50. If we had not been in a rush to re turn to the hospital we would have discussed further with our less than cooperative server. I could not believe how she defended a bad meal when we clearly explained we were in a hurry to return.

This place is amazing! The foxes den has excellent food with great gluten free options (hoping they bring the beef dip back though). The golf course is really nice too! We actually had our wedding reception here too and they were accommodating and the whole evening was great!

The course is in fantastic shape considering the extra cart traffic from CoVID rules. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The meal from the clubhouse was also fantastic. Will return.

Highwood is a pretty flat course. The reason for the 3 star is because 1 deduction for having no cart path and very dusty, the other is their New Heritage 9 does not show on my Garmin (first time I encountered this).

Course is in nice shape, but definitely not worth the weekend rate of $94 including cart seat and then having to purchase a bucket of range balls on top of that for a total of $102. There are nicer and cheaper courses in the city.

Great course for great price. I've only done the 9 holes with my parents a couple times but it's a very pretty course with fun, challenging holes. Fox den restaurant is good. $9.50 for 2oz cocktails is a great deal to me. Food is not mind blowing but not bad. Good for a snack after playing. Peyton was our server today and she was really awesome, best service I've had in a while anywhere. Thanks Peyton! We will be definitely be back.

Nice course , however it needs to be marked More clearly which way to next hole. Restaurant was excellent food delish.all staff working inside and outside were most pleasant. We will definately come back

Great golf course that is maintained well. Greens are great. Good food for after the round. Additionally the private golf lessons are awesome and easy to follow. Recommend Trig for lessons.

We had high expectations from all the good we heard about service and even the wings being best in town. Sadly the wings looked over cooked and were dry. Maybe the cook was off today however by time the server got around to asking us, we ate most of it due to hunger. As far as service, the waitress didn't seem to care the wings were over cooked and dry and when she came to our table to ask how the food was, she reeked of cigarette smoke so bad I just wanted to get her away from the table.

First time playing here. Great course. Played 9 on New Heritage. Greens are a little dried out and brown but not an issue. Some long holes. Not anyplace to lose a ball in the water for the first 9 holes. Driving range available. Ate dumpling at the restaurant. Delicious. Staff at every corner were friendly and helpful.

Cost almost $200 for the wife and I to golf with a cart on a Saturday. Greens where just airated and terrible. Not worth the money. Way better value for your golfing buck elsewhere.

I golf here very often (15-20 rounds per year) and have seen some noted improvements this season over the previous few. Carts have been modernized and are very comfortable and amenity-rich. Tee sheet seems more open than previous years, not sure if they are doing less member events or have different booking rules, but it is easier to get a tee time. Course is in fair shape considering time of year, but will need some work as the season goes on. Persistent issues are members who feel they 'own' the course i.e. driving up on you as you are hitting, hitting into you, complaining about unreasonable pace of play (we never exceed 4 hours if not waiting on tees). Course is only marshalled during the early part of weekdays, which means the members rudely act as marshals to public players. Food and beverage is another issue. Lack of variety seems to be being addressed slowly but rarely do we see cart service, the staff are generally inattentive and often rude. Not sure if that's a reflection of the members treating them poorly or lack of good staff available in High River. Restaurant extremely overpriced considering quality. Primetime rate plus cart will set you back about $90, which is overpriced considering the course is in High River. $39 after 2pm deal on the Canada Golf Card is a good value, though. Hope to see continued improvement as the course itself is very enjoyable to play.
