We have all the information of people who are using the services of Heritage Pointe Golf Club & Indoor Golf Lounge (Golf) in the territory close to Alberta (Canada).
Currently this firm has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is really good, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we may conclude that the evaluation is very credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Golf belongs to the category of Public golf course.
The best public course in Calgary
Played on Sunday for the first time. Gorgeous course and meticulously maintained. I will absolutely return.
One of my favourite courses in the city
We selected this spot for our wedding! Further reviews to come!

Challenging courses but the course conditions are usually great. Personally I'm a big fan of the desert 9 holes
Great food, great patio! Super fun 3 hole golf course. Going again later this week haha!!! Too good not to go back!!
Great track ....stunning setting
Beautiful spot
Excellent golf course, very friendly marshalls and staff

Awesome
Incredible course! Tough in spots amazing views with horses and deer , SUPER fast greens , great food , Eagles all over for us today. Incredible!
I played all 27 holes here and really enjoyed the course. Can’t wait to come back next year!
Challenging, well maintained, and gorgeous course. I would definitely recommend checking this course out. Not great for beginner golfers.
Great course, nice facilities, good for customer golf or tournaments. Heritage 9 is definitely a fun challenge for anyone with a tight irons game.
Beautiful course with exceptional staff. Little expensive but you get what you pay for.
Great golf course
The course is beautiful and the grounds crew does a great job of maintaining the course. It is target golf though. If you’re a fan of target gold, this course would be right up your alley. I am not good enough to be a target golf golfer so it wasn’t for me. More of a preference thing than anything else.
Wonderful course and facility! Always a favorite for golfing.
Great course, and fast greens. Back nine is a nice escape from the city feels.
Good shape this year..but too much is changing. No driving range? You can tell the new owners are trying get as much money out of it.
The course looks like it weathered great over the winter. The greens were sneaky quick.
Great course to play on, will definitely be back again in the summer time
One of my top favorite courses in Calgary. The heritage, Pointe, and desert are unique and very challenging. Staff and maintenance crew are always a delight.
Nice track always a challenge. If you get in the long rough forget it. Decent food and a great patio finish the round nicely
I have been golfing here for the past few years a couple times a month. My experience has always been great. The course is in great shape and is challenging and has a ton of elevation, which make the course challenging. The twilight rate of $75 with a cart is hard to beat.
For the last few seasons, my regular foursome has played a couple of rounds per season here. Last year, we bought a 12 pack of passes to use to save a few bucks. The golf season was cut short due to weather and when the call was made to the pro-shop to see what we could about the remaining rounds, they couldn't give a refund but could use it towards the purchase of the same pass this season with no other details. Called them up this year to get the pass and they are now claiming we missed the cut-off. Awful service, if there were a zero star rating they would get it. I recognize our $1 500/year probably won't matter much to their bottom line, but we will never be going back there.
Nice place. Good facilities. Clean and maintained.
Heritage Point is a beautiful course, with unbelievable views and immaculate greens. Theres a course to favor any golfer, and the club house and food and staff is 5 star!!????
Amazing and absolutely beautiful! I found the restaurant very inviting and comfortable. Nachos... The best I've had!! And the staff were all super friendly! ????
Great staff. Kind. Great Customer Service. Very sweet to children. Highly recommend ????
Cool golf course... Just a little bit more expensive to other comparable offerings... But still worthwhile
Great course with amazing practice facility. Great value all around.
Great course with amazing practice facility. Great value all around.
Great place to work on your game. Friendly staff
Went here for Valentine's Day a couple years back with the family, lovely, old place. Could use some renovations but the atmosphere is suiting for a golf course. Have golfed the course a couple times and it is great and fairly reasonable processes.
Def the best kept public course around Calgary. No 27 holes are the same so provides a great experience. Pro-tip, Learn green speeds for approach shots and putts before round.
Impressive facilities. This is a real golf course. You gotta play pretty well
Good food. Affordable price. Great service. Very nice scenery on the balcony
Beautiful golf course, little pricey, but really beautiful
Amazing
This used to be one of the most pristine courses in the Calgary area - I was a member for 3 years and always loved the course. However, it is very sad to see that it looks like the course is loosing its form. The course is in very rough shape for how late we are into the season and I won't be coming back until it returns to its old form and is worth the cost again.
Staff is rude.
This is a great course to play. Beginner or Pro. Very beautiful and surprisingly quiet. Nice elevation drops on certain holes to keep you on your toes and just a nice all around course to play. You wont be disappointed.
Nice course, but terribly slow play. Took 5.5 hours for us to play our round and the marshal was non existent on the course (didn't see him out there once). Notified him at the clubhouse that there was one group holding everyone up, and he said that he told them to hurry up and there was nothing else he could do. Like I said, nice course but not worth the 5.5 hour round.
Course is in great shape. Wasn't hard to get a tee time. Great specials for twilight golf.
I was with a group called Man the Gap. We had an excellent dinner and enjoyed a great message from our speaker- Greg. We golfed the Pointe 9. Gorgeous! It was a little cool but it never rained. Heritage Pointe is a great golf course
Love this course, great service, great scenery. Pointe 9 is very challenging but everywhere is with my swing...
Very nice green spaces and lake views. Small local market and gas station are very useful.
Love this course. Great staff. A very good golf experience.
Staff always go beyond what's expected.
I had committed to Heritage Pointe long term as my seasonal practice facility- However I was notified this year my seasonal practice membership would be 25% more than it was the previous year and that they would not grandfather my former rate. I will not be renewing with them in 2013.
Qualico Golf Tournament was held here. Terrific staff in all areas. This is the company's venue of choice. Course is beautiful.
I won't be attending again. Ever. Windmill group has allowed the once highly sought after course go to sh!t. Staff is rude. Management thinks they're running Augusta. See ya never Heritage Pointe.
I used to golf at this course several times per week under old management, under the new management they increased prices and sadly have let the course run down from the pristine course it once was. They used to have good specials and an amazing after twilight fee. As such I’ve only teed off <5 times on this course this season. They do not change twilight rates as the season goes on and the sun goes down earlier. Sorry guys, your course is not worth $60 at 6:00pm tee off. They also do not have rickshaws so you either have to carry or cart. Sirocco and D’arcy Ranch are better value in the area.
Booked a twilight round ($69) + cart in July. We only got 9 holes in then it started to thunderstorm... went in to the pro shop to get a rain check for 9 + cart and no problems at all. I call a couple months later to use that rain check. I book a time that's also in the twilight rate ($69, after 5pm) so as to not have any issues, and when I get to the course they insist I pay $18 to use the rain check. Why? Apparently they don't have a 9 hole rate at twilight so they have to charge me a full 9 rate. This doesn't make any sense. How is the rate different than last round if they're the same twilight rate? Why is there even a rate? I'm just finishing the round I paid for earlier, hence the rain check. Not sure why any money was needed at all. To make matters worse, the guy didn't seem to comprehend the situation and had a bad attitude. I paid it because I had already driven out there. Will not return
27 well maintained holes with interesting layouts. I love coming for their practice facility. The restaurant is always on point with their food and service. The AYCE pasta nights are a great value for quality food. Recommend for any event you may be planning.
I attended a friend's wedding at Heritage Pointe on August 8th. I just wanted to express my gratitude towards the staff. They were all very friendly, professional and engaging with all the guests and had a high level of energy while performing their tasks. As someone in the service industry I really appreciated this. Keep up the excellent work!
Love golfing here... Feels like I'm out of town... Well I guess you kinda are... It's just sooo nice
Beautiful course
Gorgeous views.
This is probably my new favourite public course in Calgary. Great deals like the morning dew specials before 9 am. Well kept greens with many staff on hand, make for quite a picturesque experience. My biggest wow moment was standing in the middle of the valley and being able to see all six holes on the Heritage nine in full 360°, very cool. We played the gold/black combo which was great for our yardage, but be warned that this course will be tough for beginners as the fesque will eat up those balls.
So sad, once a brilliant golf course that has been taken down several levels due to poor management. Still a great layout, it was in decent shape. The Cons: 1) ancient carts (electric cart just made 9 holes before it died) 2) No range now 3) Bevarage cart hit the course at 12:30 (30C today, weekend) 4) Greens were acceptable but not anything like they used to be. 5) Pathways need work 6) Bunkers also not as consistent as before. 7) at over 100 dollars (being a member of another Windmill property... They are dreaming Pros: 1) Great layout still 2) Well appointed proshop 3) Decent food and drink
Loved it! Have been meaning to play this track for years and for one thing or another could not. Great course in wonderful condition. I wish they had a running practice facility
Great course! Very well maintained, fast and true greens. At $100 it is a great value. I will be back next time I'll visit Calgary.
Fun course to play very friendly starters and marshalls
Great deal after 4pm. $65 + $20 cart. Kind of silly to have the cart priced separately as you really need a cart on this course. The Pointe was beautiful and in great condition. Wonderful elevated tee boxes, partially blind fairways and a few strategically located greens. The first cut of rough is very playable but end up in the heavy rough and say goodbye to your ball. Loved playing this 9. We were the only group out there and as hard as we tried, we still took 2 1/2 hours to play. Chalked it up to some long drives from green to next tee box and due to rain, we couldn’t drive on fairways. Finished the 9 at 6:30 and stopped to grab a dog or sandwich but the snack shop had closed early. Disappointing. Second 9 was the Desert. Not as scenic but a good links style course. The fescue grass was plentiful and we went though a few balls. However, found a bunch in return. Again, we struggled to get through it in 2 1/2 hours. And we were the only people on the course so not held up by others. Overall, a very good course. Challenging but very playable. Price is right after 4pm. Very scenic. (The Pointe) I will go back because I want to try the Heritage 9.
Course is in great shape, definitely some challenging holes with water hazards. i got a membership there this year and have been very impressed with how fun and different the course can play on a week by week basis
Pretty nice course. Fast greens and well kept fairways... the long grass eats golf balls for a living. I will definitely play there again.
This is a great course! Always in good shape. When looking at the price point it's usually $20 more than other courses near by which for $20 more you're getting way more from the course. Bunkers are great not hard packed down sand. Greens are consintent and fairways are lush. I also left my wallet in the Cart the other day and it was full of cash. I did not realize until about an hour later. Went back and to my surprise they had my wallet upstairs in the pro shop everything in it! They also have amazing training loop with a Par 5, Par 3 Par 4. To practice on for a small fee. Great facilities for individuals looking to get into the game, and getting a feel for a real course.
Great golf course. Good service. Be prepared to lose alot of golf balls.
We had our wedding at Heritage Pointe Golf Club on April 7th 2018. Everything was beyond perfect. Amy was organized, prepared and so accommodating. I never once felt like my many emails and questions were annoying her and our wedding would have not gone as smoothly without her. She was willing to help with every small detail, even helping me get in to my wedding shoes! We owe her, Narjes and the rest of the staff so much. The dinner, Hors D'Oeuvres and dessert were also fantastic. We still have guests talking about how delicious all of the food was, which was a very important part of the wedding for my husband. Chef Heather did an amazing job! Thank you Heritage Pointe! We have had so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and it honestly would not have been the same any where else.
Great staff. Kind. Great Customer Service. Very sweet to children. Highly recommend ????
I don’t think I’ve had a worse customer service experience in Calgary. Great course, but I’d rather support nearby options like Blue Devil or McKenzie Meadows based on the attitudes of everyone from the starters to the marshals to the pro shop employees. Weirdly indignant, and unbecoming of the quality of the course itself. It’s a shame, really.
Great course, well maintained, very challenging at times, greens are perfect... the only thing that could be better is having a cart person selling beverages but none area available in this course, so stock up before T-off.
Challenging golf course
Challenging golf course
We held our companies charity golf tournament at Heritage Pointe. The service was absolutely phenomenal, we are a hard group to please and the course and staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was looked after. I would highly recommend Heritage Pointe to anyone planning an event or tournament.
Heritage Point is awesome . We had Katie as our server and she was delightful! The Food and Beverage Manager Clint was also friendly and helpful if Katie was helping other customers. Even if you don’t golf, the clubhouse has wonderful staff and I recommend visiting there
Beautiful course, payed $178 for two people plus cart.
Gorgeous views.
Beautiful course.
Lover golf.course.. good for amateurs as well.
Tough course ... Intimidating for inexperienced golfers
Wonderful time. This is my home course as I live just 5 min away. Was here today with the JTI group and had an amazing time. Always a pleasure coming here :) and p.s. the new carts are awesome!!
Great deck, just a little cold when the sun goes down, needs some heaters. Great service (thx Penelope!), great food. Can't wait till you can open again!
The practice loop is in great shape and we'll maintained!
Beautiful venue for a wedding! Great time
Objectively this is a fantastic golf course. Well maintained, unique holes and layout, and stunning scenery (especially in late September). However, a 5.5 hour round, even on a Sunday afternoon, is unacceptable. Especially when charging $100 per person. I understand that frost delays can cause issues, but frost is a known variable for courses in Alberta. It didn't seem like there was any plan in place. For a brief moment we had 4 groups at the 10th tee box. We didn't see a marshall on the back 9 until hole 15. These are issues I'd expect to see at a municipal course. Try your best to play this course during off-peak times. Avoid it on the weekends unless you have an entire Sunday to kill.
Had a fantastic day today with a group of 12. The course was fantastic with stunning views and nice greens. Went for dinner afterwards and enjoyed a Dynamite Bowl. All the food was super fresh and overall highly recommend this place.
Hard course, but always in good shape.
Great smokies and a nice good course too.
If you get the chance to golf here. Take it very nice course.
A definite must to visit this 27 hole course in South Calgary. Great staff, great greens.
Unfortunately the course has gone down hill. Greens are beat up and GUR everywhere. No marshals out, just played a 5 hour round and we had to just drive by a foursome who spent 30 min on one hole. 2 stars cause the kid made me a good burger through nine.
Beautiful
Great golf in Calgary at Heritage, with three 9 hole courses to challenge just about anyone. Terrific care is spent maintaining each track with many different trees, willows, flowers, rocks, water and sand with fantastic fairways. Great service all around, and good food in the lounge.
Good wedding venue - balcony is fantastic!
Very friendly staff and the course is in good shape. This course is better for the more experienced/advanced golfers. To play this course well you need to be able to consistently hit into a green over hazards like water and nasty rough. One of our playing partners had difficulty with this and lost 7 balls. There is 27 holes here so when you play you can book different combinations of 18 holes.
Great course and great facilities. They take really good care of the course
We went for mothers day brunch, and it was fantastic. Very nice staff and awesome food.
Great golf ⛳️
Great golf ⛳️
Heritage 9 hole course greens too many patches. needs improvement. Pointe and Dessert greens in good shape. Nice 3-9 holes courses though.
Beautiful course
Great view of the city lights this time of night
Good and challenging course - had lots of fun
Great course
Nice golf course to play. Prices are a little high.
Totally unique golf course. So many great holes that provide a nice (but fair) challenge. Really enjoyed my round. Pace of play was good, even on a busy Friday morning.
Hot dogs are awesome in snack shop. Service is too.
The best bang for your buck in Alberta really and with new Launch Pad being built it is going to even better
Normally I am a big fan of this course, but I just golf there on the weekend and it was in awful condition, I normally wouldn't complain about this early in the season but the fact the course charged us full price ($118) to play on beat up greens and fairways that needed a lot of work was extremely disappointing. I would say avoid this course until mid June/July if you want to get your moneys worth.
great course and challenging. great condition and was not busy (midweek)
Clubhouse staff: 1/5 stars, Range staff: 4/5 stars, Starters/greens crew/on hole staff: 0/5 stars, Course condition: 1/5 stars. Save your money and time and head elsewhere. I decided to treat myself and head to heritage pointe (for a birthday round ...) little did I know that was a mistake. I arrived early (1hr) hit the range warmed up, everything was going well, until I get approached on the putting green during my routine and the range staff says "you're late for your tee time get over there ..." this is about 15min before my BOOKED tee slot. So I head over, ask the start what's going on and he says "you're late", I'm standing on the blocks at 9:14 for a 9:24 tee off ... seems plenty early to me. No apology or explanation for why I was rushed and my group had teed off already. The issues continued, not only did they start us early, but too tight of a gap and we played the front in 2hr20min, when they 'promised' and 'told' us it was gonna be 2hrs. The on course staff needs to be taught a few things; don't drive up when guests are hitting, turn off your walkie talkies (this happened 3 times in each of our threesums back swings), and the greens crew, don't turn mowers on while people are hitting or playing around the green. Overall my experience from pro shop to parking lot was awful, the staff was rude and not welcoming, the course was in awful shape, the only saving factor was the other two players were a hoot to play with and the sun was shining. Safe to say I won't be returning or recommending anyone to play there.
Course was in great shape! Challenging course with the different configurations of the holes.
Love this venue for weddings and events! The patio is enormous and a must see. Great staff and food.
Great first-time experience golfing here. Will definitely be coming back
Golfed the Dessert/Heritage combo. Beautiful course with stunning views. Very friendly staff. Very yummy food and drinks after the game. Only 4 stars this time as driving range was closed for construction of Launch Pad. Looking forward to visiting again when construction is complete.
Fantastic course and outstanding staff always ready to help!
Good track, its tough if you have not played it before as there are a lot of position shots/blind greens. The biggest negative was the lady in the food/drink shack. She was very grumpy and impersonal both times I was in there, not the type of attitude you want in customer service
Our server Penelope was awesome today! Clint is always great and chats with us everytime we come in. The food is amazing and its our favourite spot to go for a date night thanks to the staff being so welcoming! We recommend it to all our friends.
Chewed up tee boxes, unraked bunkers and horrendously slow pace of play means I won't hurry back.
Nice golf course
Played the desert 9, from the tee boxes to fairways to greens and bunkers excellent conditions for the hot summer we have had. Super friendly staff as well, from check in staff to cart guys and Marshall bravo guys great experience!!
Awesome day on the course I finally played good ????????
Beautiful course.
Well manicured course, great service and food was over the top! The 3 hole practice loop is a fabulous idea as well.
Loved it great ⛳ course
Great day at the course..... Course was in unreal shape like usual.
Beautiful golf course, very well maintained. Wish that there was better communication between staff so fewer miscommunications happenened and as a customer was not blamed for this issue.
Awesome.
Stellar day at the pointe 9. Blast with a good buddy as well.
Great golf course and practice area.
Beautiful and well groomed course. Very friendly staff and good food.
Excellence, and fine people make the courses that much better. A must hit!
Great condition
The best public golf course in Calgary!
My favorite golf course in ab
Beautiful course. Not the best place for beginners though. Food was very disappointing!
Amazing course and even better service! Everyone does a excellent job, especially the food and beverage team! Great job Clint! 10/10
My favourite course in Calgary. Finally joined as a Founding Member. Both my juniors play, and now with the proximity and practice facilities, are competing. My oldest is currently #1 04/05 in Alberta at time of this post.
Ordered their stampede Argentinian ribs on special. A little dry and the spices they used were very unusual...not in a good way. My friend felt the same
Had a wonderful dining experience with some friends for a birthday recently at Heritage Pointe Golf Club. The staff (Clint and Penelope in particular) were wonderful and did a great job ensuring the birthday girl and the rest of us were satisfied with our orders. They were very professional and were happy to cater to our birthday requests. My friends and I will definitely be back!
Great course. Pricy for a normal round of golf. No service for snacks and beverages while on the course.
Love Heritage Pointe! Beautiful course, great food and awesome staff. Leah was an awesome server! Can't wait to go back!
Always so helpful. Brian is always fantastic!
About 10 of the back greens needs some work. But it was great besides that
Beautiful course.
Stellar country club. Excellent catering for the wedding we attended.
My friend and I stopped at Heritage Pointe for lunch and we had a great time! The food was fantastic, I highly recommend the sushi bowl, best coconut shrimp I ever had! Our server Katie was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Beautiful scenery. Quite challenging.
Best club in Calgary
Excellent course, great staff, highly recommend this course especially on golf VIP
Course is in great shape. Awesome practise facility all while keeping covid rules. Nice job HP
Great golf
All staff was fantastic! The fairways and roughs in front nine (Point) were in very poor condition. Bunkers were in perfect condition!
27 hole course, challenging layout.
Very good but so difficult.
This weekend I had the pleasure of having my wedding at heritage pointe golf course. It was everything I want and more. The venue was amazing, staff where amazing, OMG the food was delicious! So many people told me it was one of the best weddings they have gone too! I am Over the moon and I am so thankful.
Top 10 in the city
Played here with a large group. Beautiful course, absolutley stunning. Very difficult layout. All the staff that we encountered were excellent, very friendly and on top of whatever job they were performing, it was probably what set them apart in my mind from any of the other courses in the city I've played. They get customer service. Had a burger after the round and was not disappointed, home made pattie, very large and excellent flavour. Looking forward to golfing this course again.
My husband and I had our wedding at Heritage Pointe Golf Course in August 2021. We can't say enough good things about this venue and the service that was provided. Leading up to the event Clint & Misha were extremely helpful! Between replying to my many questions, helping us plan out the room and switching our ceremony last minute from outside to inside (due to rain) we can't thank them enough! Throughout the evening staff checked in multiple to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed and if they could help with anything else! Highly recommend this venue!!
Excellent course, too pricey.
Well kept, great conditions, soft white sand. It's no wonder this course is rated one of the top in Alberta.
Great track super challenging, staff was awesome and pace of play was 4 hours.
Amazing golf course. Lots of variation in terrain. Tough course but had a fun day there as part of a corporate best ball event.
We had our wedding here August 2019 and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff were all around just great to work with!! I would absolutely recommend Heritage Pointe! The golf course is also stunning as well!
This is one of the premier golf course destinations in Alberta. The challenging 27 holes make for a great day of golf, and the fantastic staff and awesome selection of local craft beers makes for an amazing experience. HPGC comes highly recommended to any new golfers, or any pros who are looking for the complete package.
Unfortunately we would not play this course again. It has gone downhill tremendously. No care or attention like they used to practice. Practice facility is now on mats, tee boxes are all beat up and littered with broken tees. The greens were in spring like conditions and it is August - other courses in the area do not have a problem with greens. We paid a discount of $75 and it is not worth it. Many other choices available to Calgarians.
I've played here 100+ times but yesterday was the first time with new management. Showed up to no carts available and told we can walk to the range and walk back to get a cart then drive over to desert. Get to the first tee, playing partners also no cart had to wait 10 more minutes. Went thru the turn to grab a cheeseburger, it was uncooked and didn't have cheese. So I went back to ask for another. They gave me another uncooked burger (the grossest thing I've ever eaten) along with a 445 round. I brought a guest for his first time out there and he said immediately after the round it was a waste a money and would never come back. I've been a pro for 7 years and this is a course I pride myself on suggesting to people but sadly that will stop and considering my experience I don't think I'll ever be back either. The course was its usual self.
Food was great, service was awesome, everything about this place is great, will be coming back!
Nice course but bring a lot of balls if you're not a perfect target golfer especially on the Heritage and Point 9's
Beautiful course, challenging but still enjoyable for the average golfer.
Tough track, absolutely beautiful.
We were a group of nine for dinner on Friday May 31. Twice someone from our group had to get up and interrupt our waitress’ conversation with a coworker and ask if we could get some service. When meals started coming out the waitress who brought out three dishes got indignant and miserable when no one at our table claimed the dishes she said she had. She stormed off muttering under her breath only to come back out changing what she said she had. She had no idea what she was serving and didn’t even apologize for her mistake. Not going back there any time soon
Amazing course, well taken care of and the nine hole specials are very affordable. Great views and seclusion!
Really challenging course for a newbie. The 19th Hole however was delightful. Awesome snacks: veggie trio and Mexican street corn dip were all delicious. Great service. Thank you Clint and Leah. Our table was well taken care of.
A course that is in great shape and some really nice views. However unless you are very low single digit handicap, this course will not be fun. Too many greens that require you to “fly” it in. Can scratch it off my bucket list but won’t go back. It was a very hot day, and thought is was quite odd they had no beverage cart running on the course. Expect that at a city owned course, not a privately owned one.
Gorgeous place. Great breakfast.
Challenging and spectacular.
Played yesterday. Its not worth the $120 I paid. We played the point 9 first. 7 outta 9 green were brutal. We were booked for 450 didnt get on until 515. Didnt get the twighlight deal either, no beer cart. Also it was super slow and no marshal in site. Pretty disappointed in the whole experience.
Awesome track and great facility
