This Golf is included in the category of Public golf course.
Course was in great shape. A little bit shorter with only 1 par 5 but well laid out and challenging. Pretty tough greens with lots of well placed water. Fun golf course.
A challenging course with great conditions and scenery. The staff are very friendly as well.
Golf course in good shape staff was very pleasant.
Best golf in the area , great atmosphere !
Get to use all your clubs top course reasonable rates
Fantastic Golf course. Very challenging course design.
Good course Lots of water in play.
Staff is amazing and the course is in great shape. I Have been golfing here over 10 yrs.. Ryan and Gio make my experience TOP NOTCH. Everytime I come here..Thanks you
Challenging course where mistakes are punished (water, thick trees right off fairway, etc...).
Someone once told me there used to be a lake here and they built a golf course on top of it. Keep it straight and in sight and you’ll have a wonderful day; spraying and praying will land you in the pro shop asking for more balls. Either way it’s a fantastic play and incredible price.
Beautiful course always love going for a round here.
great course and better staff. thsy are super helpful and friendly a really gret experience.
Great challenging course at a reasonable price. Played 18 today. Some greens a bit rough but overall satisfying and fairly quick. Beautiful scenery with the water and the birds galore.
Challenging course. The holes have unique features to keep things interesting. LOTS of water so bring a few spare balls if you hit it like I do.
Glad it was only $50 for 18, cart, and range balls course is a little rough right now. Did not winter well
Hard course! Lots of fun.
Lives up to it's name
Excellent course - couple of holes pretty wet but in generally good shape.
Amazing course, even late in the season!
Just excellent, excellent. Nice greens.
We were here for a wedding reception. It was nice. The bar staff were nice and helpful. It was a little hot, but that's not all there fault, it was a hot July day.
You have to think about your shot and the club you need to make the shot.
Challenging course. Played late may 2020... the greens still need to fill in a bit then it would rate a little higher in my books
Nice course, lots of geese which is entertaining.
Went for a wedding. Very nice facilities and we'll maintained.
Needs a bit more warm weather to get the course in prime shape.
Beautiful! Friendly staff just need a bit more work on the greens
The course and staff are great.
Great golf course in great shape.
Great course, friendly staff.
Great course to play nice and challenging, the greens were in good shape. Nice course to layout with some great landscape and water hazards. I would have left 5 stars but received a rude comment in the pro shop in regards about wearing a mask.
A perfect place to get away from stress and busy hectic life, they have a kids golf free starting this coming July 2 2019. Clean environment, it is also near at the Jurassic Forest so after playing golf you can take the whole family there.
Complete facility for golf tournaments along with accommodating staff
Well kept course . Challenging and very beautiful!
Not a hood course. Long way to drive out of the city for less than stellar country course. Many penalizing holes. Won't be going back.
Great shape and rates
Great as always. One of Alberta's little gems.
Such a fun course. Lots of challenging holes and water makes for a fun day. No beer cart running but that could be a covid thing. Ham sandwich was pretty good, nothing to write home about but still not bad. Price was reasonable, course condition was great for early season.
Great course with a lack luster staff
Great pricing,truly a hidden gem.
Decent track, well taken care of for the most part. Friendly staff both service and grounds crew. Good sandwiches, decent beer selection (for a small clubhouse). No beer /snack cart but I was there on a Wednesday mid day so understandable, I assume they run one or two at peak times.
A great, well maintained golf course. As a beginner though, it is of note that there are a lot of areas of water around that you can lose your golf ball in!
Mens night is great golf at a good price.
Fun and challenging golf course
Good afternoon Doug, I just became aware of your concerns expressed on both Google and Trip Advisor the other day, so I apologize for the late response. I'm very sorry that we were not able to resolve your concerns in an appropriate manner. When you and I originally discussed your over-charge situation on the phone, I did not have a clear understanding of the situation. It was not until the next morning when you came to the Clubhouse that the picture was more clear. As we do with any customer concern brought forward, it is our goal first and foremost to resolve all issues to the mutual satisfaction of the guest and the course. If you are still willing, we would be pleased to work with you to provide suitable compensation for your less than ideal experience here at Goose Hummock Golf Resort. Sincerely Greg Suess
Goose Hummock Updated: 24-Jun-2020 The course is finally drying out with the exception of a couple of low areas. The tee boxes are in good condition thanks to the reduced traffic and good growing conditions we have had the past couple of weeks. Now that the fairways have started to dry out they are lush and the ball sits up nicely but the rough is also thick and juicy due to the rapidly growing grass. The greens are getting better but still have a way to go, most still have some winter damage which can be frustrating when you have a put you need to make. I am sure that as summer gets underway the greens will improve and in a couple of weeks they should be in much better condition.
A tough course and appropriately named, as there are numerous geese all over the place, but the grounds people do a good job cleaning up after them so that you don't have to worry about stepping in it. The water holes are challenging, so make sure you have a supply of balls.
Great course. Lots of fun. Is not an easy course but will keep you happy.
Love the course, but it hates me! Lol!
Had a small tournament on September 11th. Course was in great shape. Great layout. Best steak lunch I've had in any golf course. Steaks cooked to your preferences. All the staff helpful and accommodating. From the pro shop to the restaurant. Also a big thank you to Greg ( tournament coordinator extraordinaire). Everybody had a great experience. ????
Decent for the amount of recent rain. A challenging course with some decently tough pin placements. About 6400yards from the tips.
Terrible shape and just a poorly designed golf course.
Challenging course. Water on all but one hole.
Course is in great shape!
Great course. Staff was excellent. Highly recommended
Treated our group terribly. I have never seen anything like it, it was truly astounding. Was there for a corporate outing and the Marshall was all over us to hurry before our tee time even started! They started hurrying us on the putting green to tee off before our scheduled time, and ended up literally following the 4 of us on 15 of 18 holes! Seriously, 15 of 18 holes + the putting green, think about that for a second. 2 different Marshalls throughout the round, one on the front 9 and a different guy on the back 9. Both were all over us for the majority of their respective 9's and one guy even took it upon himself to get into a pretty heated argument with one golfer in our group. Our guy tried to let it go, but the Marshall just wouldn't let up and got pretty aggressive. Customer service at it's finest. I wish I had a gopro on, because it's the only way this could be explained with any justice. Total round time: 4 hours 15 minutes, which is the kicker. After all that harassment, we took what I would consider a reasonable time to play 18 holes. We teed off early for them, dealt with their Marshalls, and after all that took a reasonable amount of time to complete our round. Anyways, we will definitely never be back, I wouldn't go back for free. Spoiled the mood for what was supposed to be a relaxed, good time. Highly recommend you look elsewhere if you are looking for an enjoyable round.
It's a challenging course with water involved, some narrow fairway with some interesting tee box demanding you to plan your shot like club down or lay up.
Fair price. Very green.
Course is in somewhat good shape, but no Marshall and there was a tournament ahead of us and they were very rowdy and very slow. It was backing up like silly, 4 groups waiting at each hole start from hole 6 and no one on the course to keep the pace going. Also the no refund policy (even with advanced notice) is a rip off! Update August 26, 2020 Thanks for your reply The owner of the course. Thanks for making the refund policy clear to me. I posted the review because that was the exact information I got from the lady of your proshop on the phone. I called and asked for refund policy if I cancel in advance of 48 hours and I was told no refund but raincheck will be issue. we love your course and have played twice already in the past 2 weeks and will be playing there tomorrow in fact. However, we have been skeptical to book online at your course because of the information we were given. Thanks again!
Decent shape considering how much rain has fallen in the past two weeks
Course is gradually returning to great condition after all the rain. Food was really good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Awesome golf course. Course in great shape. Get in your last round before Sunday. Would go back again this year if I could.
Awesome course
Beautiful 18 hole course. Challenging but relaxed enough for beginners to play a round.
Great course in great shape this year!
Staff, golf courses, fairways, bunker greens, all goooooooooood.
Staff is great both in the clubhouse/restaurant
excellent
Course is back in great shape! Always challenging!
Great course not to busy
Plays a club longer on most approaches. Golfers really need to repair ball marks on greens. Our foursomes rule was repair 3 each plus your own. Crazy how people can just disregard repairing a dam ball mark. The course is a good challenge as an errant shot gets swallowed up by trees or water. Staff were polite and hot dogs were tasty. (Panini dog) we will be back next year when the weather is better suited for a game.
Great place to go for a round. Challenging and fun
Beautiful course and really challenging. The staff were really outgoing, joking around while being professional. Made for a great experience. I'd recommend this course to anyone! Look up their angus mcduff special. Really great deal for two people that comes to about 50 dollars each for 18 holes, a cart, range balls and mid round hot dog and drink.
Very nice shape, very nice greens
Nice course. A little wet in some spots, but otherwise a good time. Lots of water holes, so a little more cautious play is required at times
My favorite course in the Edmonton area
great course, some challenging holes!
Course was great shape. Very fun course as well. Greens were fun and challenging. Course was a great challenge and can be for all levels with the numerous tee options. We did have a issue with our tee time. the person we booked with at the clubhouse (over the phone with couple days advance) he failed to put our names down on sheet and we are from 6 hours away so almost became a bad situation but the course wasnt too busy this morning and they just let us out anyways which was great. Love the course tho will be putting it on my list for the Edmonton area.
Great. Well maintained course
Challenging course but a beautiful one
Tricky course.
Great pro shop service.
Great course, pretty challenging.
I'd rate this a 1 star if i was taking into account my score. Tough course but it is amazing!
Tough but fair golf course
Beautiful golf course and the lunch buffet was delicious????
Greens are always in great condition. Fun course with challenging holes
Always in great condition. I love the elevation changes. The mature trees lining the fairway ensure you have to stay in the fairways, but they’re cleared out nicely under the canopy if you wind up in them. Averything is perfect.
Challenging course, fair amount of water, a good test of accuracy with any club out of the bag. Unfortunately heat wave conditions and no rain makes these greens nearly unplayable. Kudos to the staff for trying their best to keep them watered, but the steep undulations on each green design means it needs to be receptive to give your average golfer a chance. At the moment these are playing at pga level pool top speeds, on top of the generally small green areas throughout the course, good luck keeping your ball on the green when it wants to roll out 30ft from the subtlest of taps. Played the course earlier this year when there was more moisture and the greens were a funner experience.
Probably the best value in the Edmonton Region. A really well managed course with a good deal of challenges.
Beautiful course; nice practice area; wonderful staff! One of the best public courses in the area. Huge shout out to the big fella behind the desk for accommodating a tricky situation during my last visit; your help is much appreciated!
Loved how course was in great condition.
Very well kept course. Friendly staff. Great place to host an event. Very accommodating. Delicious food too.
Great golf course that has the unfortunate habit of gobbling up my wayward balls. Still love playing!
Great shape this year. I recommend a round.
Good shape, challenging as ever!
Played today June 30th, no carts due to all the rain but it was actually nice to walk a course for a change. Course is probably as good as I have seen it. Greens were excellent.Good job .
This course is a hidden gem makes you play all your clubs in your bag. Greens are quick and fast awesome course and hard to beat this value in the edmonton area.
Greens were great!
A favorite
Goose is always fun. They did a good job fixing it all up after all that flooding. Well done.
The course is always in great shape, reasonably priced, tee times are spaced according and friendly staff. I'd give it 5 stars but there's always room for improvement...get out there and enjoy this hidden gem!
Great course. Lots of water very reasonably priced. Lots of fun.
Great day for golf at the goose
Other then the rude front desk pro shop guy . And being charged for a additional rider ( my wife who's pregnant and not golfing) the course was good. The food and bev girls were really nice. And the course was in good condition.
Beautiful golf course! Very affordable and the course is not too difficult for first timers
Love this course, just need to get out more.
Great course. Bring lots of balls
Friendly staff. Too much water on the course to fit my game. Enjoyed the day with our friends.
Excellent greens, course in amazing shape for the water management they had to deal with.
Greens in great shape fairways are in fair shape. Great value
Above and beyond. The course was is good shape, greens were playing well, but we did have a customer service experience that went above and beyond. Early in our round, someone from the turf management team approached our group and asked if we had done some damage to a hazard by taking a cart where it shouldn't be (this may have been sugested by a group behind us). We assured the worker that it wasn't our group, and off he went. Our interaction was polite & respectful, and we certainly felt we were merely being asked, not accused. The source of the damaged was determined, and once the truth was out, a marshall tracked us down on the back nine to appogise for our group being asked, and presented us all with coupons good for 2 for 1 pricing. Even though we had pretty much forgotten the whole thing, the management went above and beyond with an appreciated gesture. Great customer service guys! Thanks again, we'll be back for sure.
Great course good shape, nice range and now looks like camping is going to be added
Challenging and you better like water
Beautiful but challenging course...used almost every club in the bag...range balls were a bit rough but course is in great shape so I guess that's a sign their priorities are in order???? love coming here but humbled every time
Good challenging golf course at a reasonable price. Lots of water. The greens are fairly quick and usually in great shape.
