This Golf belongs to the category of Public golf course.
Great golf close to the city. Reasonable rates, and very well maintained.
Friendly clean fair priced
Nice course for the price and plenty of challenging holes
Well maintained course, decently challenging, nice facilities and good value. Decent pace of play throughout the course too.
Great course! Not too busy, perfect pace - course is in good shape.
Great place to golf
Father in law took me here for my first round of golf. Can't complain, everyone was nice, course was gorgeous. That's all I can really ask for. Everyone I was with was talking about how nice the greens were.
Great little course! Good food and drinks and staff is very friendly
Was in ok condition, little too pricy for the experience though.
Course was in beautiful shape, my golf game in the other hand wasn't.
Enjoyed it, real good course. Just a shame so many bloody wasps but nothing they can do about that
Most fairways and greens are in great shape. The odd greens have new seed in spots that are a bit bumpy. Overall in great shape compaired to some other courses around.
Beautiful course! Very well maintained. The staff and management are very friendly. Great place for any level of golfer to go play. Defintely will be making this my go-to regular course.
Nice enough course. Some of the greens were a bit rough. Carts are well maintained with USB chargers available for your phone. Has a driving range and a well equipped pro shop. Will return as it is in a very accessible location with plenty of parking.
Great time! Fast greens end of season.
Nice course, had a good time with friends. They've got some peacocks that roam the course.
Nice course. 27 holes to play.
Very surprised at how beautiful this course is. Very challenging and in excellent shape. It is a must play and will definitely be back again.
Really nice course with a grass driving range. Greens were well kept.
Gorgeous new clubhouse. A few too many groups were sent out so things were very backed up.
Great course with great prices. Each 9 has a different set of challenges and offers lots of variety.
Great place, amazing staff.
Beautiful course! Will certainly be playing here again!
Great course refundable rates nice people
Greens are bad
Awesome place got a hole in one there????
Love the layout. Lots of challenging holes with water and bunkers. The perfect amount of holes you can use the driver and holes you need to hit a 220yd club.
Beautiful day-- great course!
Country Side is a great golf course to go to if you want to learn the hard way to hit your ball straight. There are 27 holes at this course with 18 holes being fairly long and wide. The separate 9 holes is narrower and requires good ball placement.
The only one for me. I've been playing there since 2015. Reasonable prices and great staff.
They actually have peacocks at this location. Awesome. Thanks to one of the employee (G.V) who showed them to me. She was very friendly and nice. Thanks for your services.

Great course well taken care of. One of the friendliest Marshall I have ever seen . We had a tournament there and we have been treated very well. Will comeback again. Thank you.
Big golf course
Bad
Gorgeous course, very sanitary.
Great place to golf, with a large variety of holes with different hazards. I am part of the ladies league on Thursdays, but there are 37 holes so there is never a time that you cant get out for a round The clubhouse staff and great, and the check in process is quick and seamless. Bring or purchase a drink as you will rarely see a person selling drinks. There is a place along the way where you can pick up a soda from the pop machine. The greens over the past couple years have been fair to good, buy they continue to work on bringing up the standards. The fairways are lovely and green as are the tee boxes. Overall a great place to golf.
Excellent condition and well run.
Lovely course
Course is in great shape.
Beautiful course to try! Some really neat holes! Staff are awesome!
Beautiful course!
A great little track with something for all level of golfer. One of Edmonton' s hidden gem of a golf course - I would highly recommend this course to anyone who enjoys golf.
Great quiet course with 27 holes so you can customize your round. Good times, will be back.
This is one of my favorite courses to play in the Edmonton area, partly because it is relatively close to home for us, but also because it is usually in great shape and challenging to play. With 27 holes and a large new clubhouse stocked with great food and Big Rock on tap, add in your golf buddies and some good weather and this is the place to be early on a Saturday morning (or any other time you can get away for a round of golf)! If you want to golf a lot and this course is convenient for you, check into their Flex-Pass. For a quick 9(+1)-hole round and to work on your short game, ask to be booked onto the Woodlands course. Most 18-hole rounds will play the other 18 holes - the Meadows and the Prairies - also challenging but will take longer. If you have more time, why not play all 27(+1)? With the relatively new club house, this venue has become popular for weddings and other events. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Great golf course. Only gripe is if you’re going to have a beer cart don’t let the employee be sitting on their phone after the first hole and then never see her on the rest of the course.
Always a fun course to play, not enough bathrooms throughout the course though.
Decent value for golf in Edmonton. The Woodlands 9 is especially good for kids with Junior tees setup all the time and an appropriate difficulty level for kids.
Great little course with nice staff and it's still in decent shape. A very good value
Nice course, great staff
Great course
Has a grass driving range if that matters to you. Woodlands is easy enough for a sub-par golfer like me. It has been reasonably well maintained over the past few years. I'm not that frustrated by the course difficulty which is nice since I'm a bad golfer. I just focus my frustration on my swing.
Beautiful course to play on. Well laid out, and challenging enough for a not so pro player like myself.
Asked to play 18 but they only booked me for 9.. wouldn't have been such a big deal except for the fact that their extra 9 holes are short and boring.. would be OK for a shorter hitter
The peacocks scared me the first time because I didn't expect this giant bird to be standing right beside me or for it to be a louder bird. Anyway, they are around the clubhouse entrance only. The experience on the course is really great. One of my favourites around the city. It is average priced. Usually good condition (a few spotty areas sometimes but which course in this area is perfect all the time after all these dry years). I enjoy the pace and the play every time.
Nice staff. Well maintained. A lot of beginners play here which can be slow and lacking in basic etiquette such as letting others play through or join up. They have the woodlands for seniors and women but unfortunately they also play the 18 courses. Eagle run just down the road and next step up.
Beautiful course
With a flex pass, rates are great. This is my regular course. Very enjoyable.
Super courses, from woods to prairie with a dash of water to keep you on your toes. Reasonably priced, plus discounts for low activity times.
I really like this course. Greens are excellent this year.
Played country side many times throughout my life. The reason for leaving a 2 star review is all in regard to wait times and pace of play. Having tee times booked within 10 minutes of each other mean you’ll play their 10 hole Woodlands course in about 3-4 hours. It’s in good shape, however for reference, I had to leave after the 5th hole because it had already taken and hour and 45 minutes to get to the 6th tee box, and then another 15 mins of waiting to tee off again. But I had somewhere to be. Good shape, playing 18 I did not experience long wait times. However the 10 hole woodlands portion is a very frustrating pace of play.
It's a good place for novice golfers. Play is quite slow because of that though.
I play here quite a bit and this course has gotten better and better every year. One of the few courses that still offer a natural grass driving range. A little pricey for the quality of the course in comparison to other courses at that price point. Overall I always enjoy my golf here.
Nice course. Well maintained. Beautiful clubhouse.
Great 27 hole course for beginners and experienced alike. Well priced and in decent shape.
Course is in OK shape but it was not good service out there. Seen the cart girl out there but never stopped to see if we needed anything in 18 holes. Even when we checked in for our tee time seemed like there was other things going on for them before they asked of we needed anything. But all in all bring your own drinks
I have golfed for the first-time ever here. Their place is beautiful and big too (outside of the city). Reasonably prices, they have nice special cartoon carts :) not a difficult place to golf.
Nice challenging golf course with its fair share of sand traps and water hazards. Greens are in good shape.
Nice and challenging golf course. Friendly staff, nice club house with good menu.
My 8 yr old and I had a great time! ????
Best deal around
A very beautiful course just outside the city. Wide fairways but some challenging greens. Worth the price, I will definitely golf here again.
Played the meadows 9 and all the greens were awesome. Really nice fairways too. Not that I saw a lot of them!
Always a great game at Countryside! They are handling the covid restrictions so well. A very safe place to be!!
I love this course. I have referred a lot of people to this course for tournaments and team play. Even though it is a busy course, the staff always try to accommodate you. The only negative comment I have is we have golfed this course four times, with a 4:00-4:30 tee time, and not once have we seen the beverage cart. I have always honoured the rules and didn't bring on outside beverages. I will definitely golf here again but in the future I will bring my own beverages. Trying to golf in 30 degree temperature with no water doesn't make for an enjoyable game.
My GF and I came here last weekend to play 9 holes of golf. The place was packed with people. Its a good course, quite difficult if you are a beginner like me. I must of lost 15 balls that day.. Most of the sections you have to play your ball blindly (usually hitting up hill or turning right/left) Tough is what word comes to mind.
Hard to fault the course this year, but lots of dry spots on greens and tee boxes. Rest of the course is in good shape.
We golfed there when it opened decades ago. It has developed into a very fine course. Super pro shop and restaurant.
Great place with great service. I love the 10th hole in the woods.
This course is in excellent condition. The greens were outstanding.
Great golf course
Course was in decent shape for the amount of rain we had. Greens were challenging
Great value for a quality public golf course. Its absurdly long from the blue tee's (i.e 636 par 5 on hole #7, and 270 yard carry over water on the par 4 hole #17) so do your self a favor and play from the whites. The new club house looks great, one of the best spots outside of town to enjoy a beer on the patio. Plus they have a grass driving range for most of the season!
Awesome staff, pretty good greens, good course for the average golfers.
Beautiful Clubhouse and course with lots of scenery and nature everywhere. Fairways and greens were in very decent shape when we played - overall the course is in solid condition - we'll play again. Cost for walking 18 holes somewhat on the high side compared to some surrounding courses. HUGE NEGATIVE - no roaming liquid carts, so on a hot day if you forget to take liquids with you, you can be in for a hellish golf game. The current system they have is to text your request to the clubhouse and they will send a cart out with your drinks - it is time-consuming and frustrating when you're golfing - a complete disaster. They MUST change this system!!
Course is in great condition this year.
Good design. It was a bit wet. It can be slow. Great staff. Good clubhouse. Food is awesome.
Great location East of Edmonton Driving out side of City 20 min..from Magrath area Excellent price $$ for seniors ...Mon to Thur... afternoon.... Safe, well organized ..staff very helpful ????.. Best place for golf game ... social distancing.. .. ⛳????️♂️????☀️ ..The greens are in excellent shape... enjoy your time on the links @ Country Side!!
Challenging Course in great condition. Nice Clubhouse, friendly staff and reasonably priced. They are still struggling after all these years to figure out how to get a beer cart to do consistent rounds - we walked 18 holes in 26 degree weather and never saw the cart... sorry, but this is unacceptable.
Love golfing here!!!
Excellent facility, lots of fun
Great place to golf, with a large variety of holes with different hazards. I am part of the ladies league on Thursdays, but there are 37 holes so there is never a time that you cant get out for a round The clubhouse staff and great, and the check in process is quick and seamless. The greens over the past couple years have been fair to good, buy they continue to work on bringing up the standards. The fairways are lovely and green as are the tee boxes. Overall a great place to golf.
Some rough spots still, but greens were great. Mosquitos might carry you away though.
Woodlands is a bit of a mess with poor drainage leading to a couple boggy holes and a couple weirdly divided holes, but Prairies and Meadows are very nice. There's this absurd >625 yard par 5 on the front 9 of Prairies that is impossible to clear the creek on, but other than that hole they're tame.
Ladies golf league. Great times every week
Great driving range with natural grass. Decent course that's usually in good condition. Perfect golf for Southside Edmonton
Another very good golf course in excellent shape beautiful Clubhouse well most definitely golf there again
Great staff beautiful clubhouse courtyard!
I liked the layout of the course. Greens in good shape.
First time playing this course .... absolutely loved it...definitely will be back
The course is in decent shape but the majority of the greens are in awful condition. Reading some of the recent reviews claiming that the greens are in good shape is laughable. Anyone that can say those greens are good has obviously never seen a good green in their life.
Great little course to play with your kids. Excellent facilities. Good course conditions and reasonable rates. Staff here are excellent as well
Beautiful good course, mixes length with well placed hazards. Course is in great shape, staff very friendly and accommodating. Peacocks are cool too.
Nice quiet course, away from traffic. Well groomed, with a practice green and driving range. Flex pass is the way to pay and play here. Great rates for seniors. Otherwise regular weekday discounts. I only put four stars as some of the fairways are a little soggy.
Nice course in decent shape.
We came here for the woodlands 9. Terrible experience, too many tee times booked too close together. We waited a minimum of 10 minutes at each hole with 3 groups at one point waiting at the tee and the group behind us sitting in their cart 10 feet away as we tee off. I have never been to a course where it was this bad. We left after doing only 4 holes and will not be coming back.
Very nice course and friendly staff
Challenging course
Greens are not bad this early, course was drier due to lack of moisture. Very playable even now.
Just a wee bit south of the Anthony Hendey, off of Hwy 14, a great well maintained, slightly challenging golf course.
Did not like the greens on the Meadows course
Greens are always good!
Woodlands is a great course to play challenging but managable - Awesome
Great course in great shape for 2021
Beautiful course. Club house food was fantastic. Staff friendly and fun. Had a great time!
Excepted to be able to rent golf clubs and could not. Would have been nice had they said so when making the reservation
Very nice long course, good price too
Very nice place. Employees were very friendly and accommodating.
Great place to golf!!! Fantastic staff!!
This course has come a long way since I was a kid.. it has 27 holes . One of the nine holes is very short and great for begginers or short distance hitters. Then the 18 hole round has a 600 plus yard par 5. The driving range is grass which is the best and there is a family of peacocks walking around .. yes peacocks ☺
Reasonable green fees, greens are on good shape. Challenging but fair course.
Excellent variety of golf, and excellent people working there. Fun place to be every time. Very understanding when things go wrong.
What a great field for enjoying the golf..
First 9 wasn't bad asked to play through the back 9 for 18... they charged us Full 9 two times. Most backed up course I've seen. Shouldn't let multiple teams of unexperienced foursomes play with push carts. Had to ask for a refund by hole 5. Only partiel refund
I have been playing there for 30 years. They have improved the course tremendously over the years. It has wider fairways but still a challenging course. Very friendly staff.
This place has really friendly staff and they were helpful. The whole place is a beautiful place and is in a really nice location
Nice public course. Greens rather DRY to start the season.
Great course and even better staff. Always friendly. The course is always in great shape.
Excellent friendly service!& delicious soup/tasty sandwich!
Sadly no beer cart.
First time ever golfing here and had a great afternoon. Thank you.
Played this course for years and really enjoy it, they are missing the mark by not having a beer cart!
Great clubhouse. Friendly staff. Course will challenge you to take short cuts but there is always an easy way for the beginner. Greens are excellent.
Love it. Great staff. Good greens. Good fairways.
The grounds are in great shape
Friendly staff great sandwiches and very fun course to play .
Great place to enjoy a game of golf...
Great course and staff. Food is awesome too.
Great family friendly place
Beautiful course. Challenging and unique layout. Reasonable rates. Personal favorite course in Edmonton area.
It was good but busy
High praise due to the wonderful stay working the pro shop, especially Tayla! Thank you again! It was my daughter's first time out on the range and Tayla made it special for her.
The course was very dry. A two day rain would really help.
Such a beautiful establishment. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was exceptional.
Not overly long, not too easy, an not too hard. Great course.
Easily the nicest fairways in edmonton. The clubhouse is always clean and the staff are very nice. The tee boxes are well maintained and the greens are groomed a lot! Me and my father prefer walking over taking a cart and its not a difficult walk at all.
It was a pleasant golf game course is in good shape
Course is alwasin great shape for this time of year. Staff is kind and helpful!
Very good track, especially for the price. Maintained very well. Staff is friendly & helpful, great for all ages & abilities. look forward to playing lots of rounds this year also. Played 20 rounds last year. Always in good shape.
Great greens, nice pace of play, would have liked a beer cart but the snack shack location worked fine.
Fair pricing, nice fairways and greens.
Great course, friendly staff and good food! Lots of options with 27 holes but always great value.
What a great place to golf. Great conditions, great amenities and staff that make you feel welcome.
Great conditions still in early September.
Friendly staff, decent rates, and excellent practice facility. Not much to complain about here. Lots of mosquitos at night.
This is a great golf course. The staff is wonderful and the course is in great shape. Beautiful club house with good food. Love this place.
Decent course and a good price. My wife daughter and I play here often
Very nice course and very nice staff.
Great course! Beautiful as you can hopefully see by the pictures!
Wont be returning had a terrible experience. Called the front desk and had let them know we would be a little late to the tee time due to a popped tire. The lady assured me it would not be a problem whatsoever. Came to the course they threw us into "hole 14" and once again assured us we would be in for the front 9 as other golfers had come late and done the same and were able to do the full 18 Came back to the front desk after spending an hour or so they let us know we cannot get back into the 18 even though other golfers had done the same. Throughout the course the marshall was extremely rude. Will not be returning never had an experience like this
Been 3 times this season hoping for conditions to improve. They did not. Overpriced golf course masquerading as a country club only because they have a nice clubhouse and a decent driving range. No marshal and therefore terrible pace of play, no beverage cart, snack shack closed on a Saturday, double-booked foursomes into the same tee time, the list goes on. The course overall is in rough shape for the price, especially the greens which play like a county municipal, not a country club. The layout is decent though could use more bunkers. Has potential but completely unfulfilled.
Great location and fun round on the most part.
Love the choice of 3 different 9 hole courses! And so close to the city!
Good service and reasonable rates. Greens could use work. But, that's every course around here. This course is fun.
Great track
I found this course somewhat challenging but for the dollar not worth it. The greens are slow poorly kept. The fairways have poor upkeep. There are pastures that are better kept. 80 plus dollars for this course was a joke at best. I have played courses in better shape and of greater challenge for less even around Edmonton. That being said, if you don't mind overpaying for a course that has "Course Marshall's" that randomly drive everywhere looking for balls, including to the point of interfering with play, clubhouse staff more interested in themselves than tending to customers and finally absolutely limited amenities as far as liquids (not one cart over the course of an 18 hole round at temperatures and humidity in excess of 30 degrees Celsius) by all means enjoy.
I had not played here for about 10 years and finally got out this past week. I had not returned mostly because it was always a 2 star course. The first shock was the price $85. Pretty lhigh for a 3 star course. Second shock was the condition of the greens. The worst I have played on this year. For $85 you should get decent greens. That said...the course layout is quite good and fun to play. They now have a modern clubhouse and have worked hard to get up to a 3 star course.
Greens weren't very good this time when we played
This was a fun course. Good for intermediate players. Grass was pretty brown throughout that's the only thing. Greens were ok just inconsistent
27 hole great shape golf course and just few minute drive from SE Edmonton.
Great place to golf.
Great little course, my only complaint is that there is no drink cart to quench your thirst buds.
Staff are amazing. Humorous and fun to talk to. Grounds and proshop and grill are beautiful Keep up the good work. You guys are great????
Nice courses, facilities.
Wicked
Fun and diverse layout. Great course if you're a bomb and gouger like myself. 15 and 17 are beasts from the back tees.
Really nice course
