Nowadays the business gets a score of 4.5 over 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is nearly the top, and it is founded on a very high number of reviews, so we may say that the evaluation is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is included in the category of Golf club.
Great food!! Great staff!! GORGEOUS location. We just enjoyed the restaurant on this visit (You gotta try the homemade burgers and fries), but I will need to return with a set of golf clubs and go for a stroll chasing a ball before supper, next time.
Nice course, reasonably priced, just remember to look above the treeline and take in the beautiful mountain views.
A local fav for good reason. Very nice golf course that isn't pretentious and a great place to hang with locals. The course is an average challenge and lots of fun. Local's secret: They have the best outdoor patio in town, right on the Bow river!
Really nice 18 hole course, it's quite busy so you need to plan in advance if you want a tee time.
I had the beyond meat burger with yam fries and both were really good! Very tasty and you got a nice big portion of fries. Not like with some restaurants where you get 8 fries! We sat on the patio and had great views of the mountains! Friendly staff! Lost 1 star because burger didn't come with cheese and the IPA I had was not very tasty, but that's not really their fault. Would def. go back
Wonderful wedding venue ❤️
Even in winter time this golf course is very entertaining. You can run at different wildlife such as wolves, wapiti and rabbits.
Amazing! The course was in terrific condition. Great value.
Beautiful place to have lunch
Gorgeous views. The food was excellent and our waiter attentive. Not much for beer selection, however. Ladies enjoyed their Caesars, though.
Good course and well maintained, however didn't offer stiff shaft rentals. For the price of rentals should offer more. Completely made the round a throwaway. I wouldn't come back for that reason alone.
Nice coarse but a little over priced
Nice course and reasonable.
Best value in canmore
A fairly nice place to have a wedding. The events coordinator was more than happy to show us around when we dropped by to check it out. Definitely worth checking out.
Went for Mothers Day brunch. It was mediocre at best. Pretty views though.
I find all the golf courses expensive here in Canmore. Hard to get a reasonable tee time. Course itself is very nice.
Good food and great views from the clubhouse.
Good club atmosphere and homely
This was the perfect venue for our wedding this past summer. Michelle the event coordinator is amazing and made the planning and execution of our wedding run seamlessly. I was so impressed how accommodating she was to all of our needs. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and is the nicest person to work with. The food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you Michelle and the Canmore Golf team for making our perfect wedding day come true! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an affordable and beautiful setting :)
This is a good place to have a meal, even if you're not a golfer or curler. The menu is not huge, but there's a good selection. Fish and chips are excellent here, and I really enjoyed the soup of the day - corn chowder, I think. Fresh ingredients nicely cooked. This restaurant is one of the town residents' closely guarded secrets - where we eat while the tourists are paying an arm and a leg for something not nearly as good.
Nice venue. Great for events
most reasonable place to eat in town. just have to get off the beaten path and land in an oasis of trees and snow. open year round except some weekends in the winter.
We had our wedding here in July 2017, could not have been more impressed with the venue and the staff. Michelle was incredible, she didn't miss a single detail and made the entire process easy and effortless. We found the prices to be very reasonable, the service, food and facilities to be exceptional! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking. We had such a fun day, the pond was the perfect mountain backdrop for our ceremony and the banquet hall opening onto the deck was amazing for a summer celebration!
Great staff!
Amazing gem in the Rockies, worth playing as the course conditions are always perfect.
We had our wedding at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club & were beyond pleased by the service and setting. Michelle was outstanding and she went out of her way to accommodate our requests. Even though we got rained out, the day was absolutely perfect & the location is absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend to anyone that is on a budget but desires an elegant mountain wedding with amazing views, outstanding food & great customer service! Thanks, Michelle!!
Amazing course for a reasonable price.
Summer or Winter, this club is friendly and welcoming. The golf course is reasonably challenging, but not crushing. The environment is gorgeous, with beautiful mountains all around. Look for the old Banff National Park boundary sign on a 17th fairway tree. The restaurant is also very good. Check out their Fish and Chips are one of the best in the town - and reasonably priced as well.
Fantastic course with great views
This is a well maintained golf course with tee boxes for every skill level. It has a grass driving range, areas for chipping and putting. The staff is very friendly and inviting in both the pro shop and the club house. A great value.
It was a nice venue for wedding but the bar staff weren't the best. I asked for an old fashioned and the bar tender didn't really know how to make one so I instruct him on what was in it. When I got my drink I found out very quickly that he had put pickle juice in my old fashioned instead of simple syrup.
Beautiful courses. Difficulty is not very high. Great for a casual round. Cheaper than the other courses around (Silvertip, Stewart Creek, etc.) Very friendly staff. Accommodating for me and my beginner friends on a bachelor party.
Always worth playing
(Translated) This is the cheapest place among 5 golf courses around Banff, making it easy for anyone to round. (Original) 밴프주변의 5개 골프코스중 제일 저렴한 곳으로 누구나 쉽게 라운딩하기 편한 곳입니다.
Best fish and chips in the Bow Valley!
We went in December and used the golf simulator on the pro shop! It was awesome and fairly realistic, you could even hear the birds chirping on the course we played. They rented us clubs and you could even order some drinks from the clubhouse. Bill was great and even gave us some tips while playing the simulator course. Great way to work on your game in the winter.
Great spot for my 7 year old son and I very beautiful course and lovely views everywhere!
Nice range, it's got the views for sure. Well kept and well priced buckets.
Beautiful scenery
Pretty solid meal, nice views, good service and decent prices for 2021 anyways. Not perfect, but one of the better places to grab lunch in the Bow Valley.
Great place to golf
Good sceneic place, Golf course ,
Hidden little gem, the steak salad is amazing.
Amazing course, great food and dat view. dam
Gorgeous setting in Canmore for lunch or dinner. Servers are professional and friendly.
Great people beauty of a course.
Great food they have here!
Good eats on patio.
Excellent meal selection at the dining room. I highly recommend the steak sandwich special on Tuesdays. ( I'm sure that the golf course is great but we only had time to sample the restaurant on this trip.)
So good to there employees and awesome food
I attended a wedding here as the MC and decorator. Michelle and her team were amazing in helping us get organized for the reception and party while also dealing with another wedding. The food was excellent, and all of the guests had a great time.
Amazing location, friendly staff
Good stuff
10/5 stars If I could give this place 33 stars I would... I mean its one of the most gorgeous courses [in my opinion] in this area of the rockies. What makes it so great? The people who work there and of course the state of the landscaping. It is a challenging course some times, don't let the easy slope score fool you! There are always visitors [wildlife] in the area and are happy to say hello. After 18 go and check out the clubhouse - the chef's there know exactly what they are doing. The proshop is also stocked well with many varieties of what ever you may need out on the course. Curling is a common activity here during the winters and the facility there is top notch. Nicework CGCC!!
Good Food!
Very good wang, much honour
Gorgeous mountain views from a golfer friendly course in excellent condition.
Great service.
Great place to curl & golf Good food & service
Nice views!!
Just a beautiful location!
Wonderful venue with a great staff. Everyone was helpful and did an amazing job setting up for the wedding. Size would be the only issue I would have with this venue. The food was great and 80 people had meals and were seated within 10-15 min!
Great Views
Really nice golf course, was there for a wedding and the facility service and set up was good.
Beautiful venue for a wedding, though it would have been crowded if we'd had to hold it inside
The location is beautiful and the staff are great !!
Full disclosure: I am a former employee. My return after an approximately 10 month absence was nothing short of spectacular! I had arranged through my Mom, who is a long-term member, for a foursome on a Saturday afternoon of the Father's Day weekend. Although the weather appeared to be against us that day, it did not dampen the spirits or the enthusiasm of the entire crew. I/we were greeted warmly and sincerely. I was witness to not one, but two wedding ceremonies while we were there. Judging by the smiles, both went off without a hitch. While we did not eat there this time, I was impressed with the beverage selection, service provided and price points. It still remains the best value in the Bow Valley and surrounding area for course condition and spectacular views. Pace of play is strictly adhered to and made it possible for us to fully enjoy our day! A special shout out to our Starter Steve Williams who arranged a blue flag for my mother "just in case". The Director of Golf took the time to greet my party in the Pro Shop and introduce me to current staff in a warm and friendly way. I now live in Winnipeg but when in Canmore I relish the opportunity to play this course regardless of the weather! Thank you to all and I hope to see you again later in the season.
Went to the driving range im a little rusty, but overall just a great place to golf. There is also a nice putting green.
Never been
Great food and friendly service
Great place to play although nothing hidden about this gem anymore.
Excellent golf course and good restaurant
A big crew of us showed up there on Saturday at lunch time. It was just the chef in the kitchen. We had an hour to work with. He was able to pump out the food with time to spare (and the food was really good). I had the veggie bowl and really enjoyed it. Great work!
Beautiful place to have lunch
Great lunch menu and fast service. Will be back
Great course and a beautiful setting.
Good food
The course is in good condition and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. Everyone who works at both are very friendly, would recommend.
Stunning scenery and very accommodating staff.
Great food and friendly staff.
Visited for a wedding, venue was nicely maintained, and the event seemed organized well. Food was good, with a few selections being average and rest being delicious. Greens and fairways looked manicured, and the driving range seemed popular on the Friday we were there.
I was very disappointed with my experience this past Sunday. 1- I booked a tee of time for 9 holes for 11:10am on Sunday May 11th. Upon my arrival I was informed that due to the frost, all tee off times are delayed. I asked the gentlemen why wasn't I informed of this before coming here by a phone call or something. The gentlemen replied saying that they just simply don't do that. 2- The gentlemen told me that my tee off time was rescheduled for 12:30pm. I arrived at the golf course at 12:10 to give me some time to practice chipping and putting & possibly hit some balls at the driving range. Upon my arrival I hear my name through speakers saying that I was next in line. I was then rushed to pay and get my cart to start my round. While paying at the counter the gentlemen informed me that during weekends we don't accept 9 holes and that we had to pay for 18. I had to battle with the gentlemen and explain to him that when I booked my tee off time that I booked for 9 holes. 3- The golf course itself is nice to play on but not when you are rushed. during my 9 holes, we were told twice by 2 different marshals to hurry up. Conclusion: That was the first time I was ever told by a marshal to hurry up and now twice on this course! on a 9 Hole! that's ridiculous. The game of golf is supposed to be fun and relaxing and not stressed! I blame the poor organizing and planning skills of the Canmore golf and curling club. Maybe if the club had started the tee off times at 11am instead of 9am, or if they would come up with a better system for keeping client phone numbers for situations like this, this problem could have been avoided. But I get it, at the end of the day it's a business, and they were probably trying to get as many people on the golf course to make as much money as they can. and its too bad because I have played there before and enjoyed it, but its experiences like that, that makes me want to never come back again.
Simply one of the most beautiful courses in Alberta. Easy walking and stunning views.
Gorgeous scenery, terrific course conditions!
Great value for a golf club. Thursday night they do a great deal on fish and chips.
Good food.... great views!
Beautiful course! Stunning views and really great greens! We actually also got married here a year ago and the staff were incredible during the whole process. Love this course!
Nice course!
As a production staff member of the Canmore Folk Music Festival, this place has always done a great job of hosting our after festival events. Super conscientious and supportive staff, and they always love the music we bring into the place!
A very beautiful course, difficulty was not bad at all and we really enjoyed the gorgeous view. Golf was fun but remember to take in God's beautiful creation!!
Attended a wedding. Was well hosted with good food. We had a fun time
Best fish&chips in Canmore hands down!!!
Good safety practices and distancing prorocol. Cold drinks on a hot deck. Fantastic food. Well worth the stop.
Pretty cool place to golf with views of the mountains!
Nice place and very fun
Very nice , well cared for property. Not the friendliest of curling clubs for sure
Good Food, beautiful course!!
Canmore is spoilt for choice with its golf options but this golfing destination should not be missed. Well laid out course with plenty of obstacles to keep the golfer focused which is good given the scenery provided by the Rockies. Welcoming staff, good pro shop & local transport close at hand.
Nice renovated place
Beautiful, great venue!! Staff was amazing!!
Great course, incredible scenery
Gorgeous course and great pricing for tournaments! Food is awesome and staff are friendly. Course is in great condition but greens are a little inconsistent. Still worth the drive in!
Pretty amazing golf course, loved it

Beautiful scenery. Excellent dining. Particularly enjoyed beutiful food presentation. All staff went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. A real pleasure!!!
I'm went here with my brothers and loved it. The scenery was amazing the entire way
Delicious food great service nice patio
Beautiful location for a wedding. The food was excellent! Views stupendous!
Beautiful moutsin course that is walkable.
The food isn't the main focus but it's good enough to keep you fueled up while cutting.
Great golf course
Well maintained organized and classy golf course. Of course in addition to being gorgeous. Great place
Beautiful and well kept.
Favorite place to meet, eat crab cakes and LOL. Join us Friday's
We had our wedding ceremony here in September 2017, and it was phenomenal. The venue/setting has a beautiful backdrop, and if the weather doesn't hold, the indoor space is still lovely. Our guests loved being able to sit on the patio after the ceremony to enjoy the view. The staff (Michelle) were amazing to work with and made the whole process very relaxing. For a venue in Canmore, it is also extremely affordable when compared to other places (we can say this confidently as we looked at all of them!). I recommend this as a venue to anyone wanting a relatively private and beautiful ceremony space, without paying ridiculous pricing.
Was here for a wedding with buffet option. The venue has good wine on offer and the buffet was very nicely done. I find buffets can be hit or miss. Considering how nicely it was done, I am sure the menu card would have something good on offer.
Great food and service
Great place to Golf in Canmore and affordable
Awesome thank you!
Very nice course with amazing views at every hole! Also has a driving range.
Beautiful
After an amazing day of golf we headed to the patio with a great view. Only to be met with mediocre food. There was 4 of us. We ordered lamb, they were delicious. 3 of us had steaks they were tough, chewy and lacked flour Stephen
Proshop congenial & helpful, the starters with friendly directions as to carts on the course and the concessions offering tasty snacks all make for a totally comfortable afternoon at this golf club.
What's not to love? Playing golf with mountains in the background never gets old!
Always a good time
First class facility, great course, great food, great views, great service.
Another great breakfast place. No children menu, but large portions and very friendly staff
Great walkable golf course with outstanding mountain views.
Good venue, service, food.
Lovely clubhouse and friendly people.
We recently had our wedding ceremony in the dining room of the club house and it was spectacular. The fireplace and big beautiful windows framed the mountains perfectly, providing soft, natural winter lighting and a romantic ambiance. The staff was so helpful with everything. They set everything up for us and helped take it all down. I was able to pick everything up the next day!
Great local country club!
Always great service and friendly staff
For the price, great golfing in the mountains.
First time playing this course. The fairways were nice. And some of the greens had challenging pin placements. We will definitely place this course again. Excellent conditions.
Are family has a local business and we also have a range membership to maintain our golf game. We totally enjoy eating on the deck. BUT. was not impressed this evening when i went to the range to hit balls for first time in 5 weeks to find out the range was closed at 6pm now. used to be 630pm. i arrived at proshop at 608pm. Was lucky to find some extra balls on range to hit some. Funny enough 15 mins later an another patron was able to get range balls. Totally hate the DOUBLE STANDARd when we even have a membership. I have hard time recommending to any tourists when this type of service is being executed. Plus this is the worst range for closing early. Who closes their range 3 hours before dark. 7 days a week. Being a golf pro , i have been on both sides of the counter and this is worst i have seen for hours. People in Canmore would actually go to range after work. Running our own course our best busiest range usage was morning and after 7pm. Golf needs to be open to more people in order for the game to survive.
Excellent halibut and fries and good service in a beautiful setting.
My hometown nice to see the kids I went to school with . It has changed to much tourism, and it is no more the Canmore it used to be. It would be nice to back in time and have it there once again. They have destroyed the small uniqueness of this place sad sad day.
Beer was cheap driving range was fun
Beautiful golf club enjoyed the driving range.
Very nice course with beautiful scenery.
Great driving range and course. If you find range balls bear the tee box of hole 1, that's my buddies slicing at work, sorry on his behalf!
Went for dinner. Staff pleasant. Food was very good. View from patio is amazing. Prices reasonable. Made for a lovely time out. Definitely will return.
I played this course July 17th 2021. Most greens are in terrible shape and really need to be fixed. Fairways and views are very nice and enjoyable. Unfortunately our group of 4 were unable to enjoy this due to the Marshall constantly harassing us about pace. Saying we were 30 minutes behind and 2 holes behind, you should be playing best ball, stuff like that despite consistently seeing the group in front of us every hole, even after waiting for 10 minutes to get a hot dog ( which is the courses fault). 3 of the 4 are bogey golfers and the 4th shot a 1 over. We finished the round in 4 hours 7 minutes, seems more than reasonable to me. Its a shame that 1 individual can ruin a beautiful weekend day. Do yourself the favour spend an extra 30 bucks and play silver tip or Stewart creek, you will thank me later
Very picturesque
Amazing course and staff!
Great club atmosphere and walking friendly.
Great golf course with beautiful views for the price
Cool place for activities
Underrated course and nice f & b. Beautiful scenery and surroundings.
Excellent social distancing rules.
justy went y to the driving range to bang a bucket of balls. public welcome, 2 clubs and a bucket....$ 10.
Eat here many times a year... always a pleasure! A little slice of heaven in these tough times. Service and food quality always beyond expectations! Try the Steak sandwich and Caesar Salad they are delicious! Enjoy!

Amazing golf course!
Great bonspiel
The golf course is mint.
Fantastic course. Even better staff. Be sure to get in contact with Bill over the winter months to try out the simulator he sets up right in the middle of the pro shop! A Canmore secret is how good their clubhouse grub is. The restaurant, Sandtraps, has great food and usually isn't as busy as downtown Canmore restaurants. The only criticism I would have is that the driving range is a little bit boring. Give me something to shoot at with some more yardage markers, please & thanks! Keep up the great work, fellas and ladies.
Easily the best value golf I've ever played. The course is always in good condition, it's unbelievable views always amaze me, the price is more than reasonable and the driving range is on grass. I will drive from Calgary to play a 9 hole round and drive home after vs playing in town.
Lovely course
Well maintained course.
Wonderful golf course in great condition. Best golf for the value in the Canmore area
The food was not good the salad was old and brown very little dressing.
We were here for a wedding yesterday, the spot was very nice by the pond and the view was excellent. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and was the highlight of the meal.
Amazing views with exceptional customer service. Scott and Jenna made our evening????
I have never been so disappointed or discriminated in my life, I get that I’m a aboriginal I have been to golf clubs before and was never told not to wear clothes I wasn’t wearing or to be told off right when I get there for T time, telling me I’m hopped and out of luck to go on the course.. and as I come back to buy 200$ worth of clothes that Fit there standards I felt “ accepted and colonized “ like I’m on vacation if there was standards for go golfing why book the T time, maybe ask “ are you guys Brown and have you golfed before ? Then tell us we can’t come !instead of giving me dirty looks or making a customer feel unwelcome! And also to point out that you still booked the T time to happen even if we’re not in the club then telling us after seeing who we “ that if we’re not in the club we can’t golf “ then putting someone with us to golf that’s part of the club & to be rushed during our golfing experience! You guys are horrible, I would not and will not recommend you to anyone but tell everyone how I was treated at your club and course too all people who travel around Canmore !
Nice old course. Easy walk, not too tough. Great food in the adjacent restaurant. Great value compared to the other courses in the area. Excellent mountain golf.
Nice renovated place
