Pro shop used to be friendly and helpful. Good golf course but bad decision for the City of Camrose to go away from a CPGA run facility. Coal Creek is my new home.

Updated: 09-Jun-2020 The course is in the good condition. The tee boxes were good with minimal winter damage. The fairways were well maintained, lush, very little winter damage and only a few soggy spots. The greens were quite good with only a few greens still recovering from the winter damage. They were quick and well maintained.Well worth the drip down there.

I’ve played this course many times over the years and today I’d have to say it’s the worst course that I’ve played in Alberta in many years. Five temporary greens and winter kill on 50% of the others. Not sure what course the other reviewers played. It needs some TLC.

May 28 2020. Played 18 in under 4 hours. Some damage on a few greens but all courses have some. Overall in very good shape. It is one of my favourite places. A great short course.

Golfed today and greens are horrible!!! Greens were just dirt with sparse patches of grass.

Course is in great shape with the exception of some tee boxes. To get to a 5 star course all tee boxes must be level and cut short. Having pristine greens will keep golfers coming back. The greens were fast and true. Not a long course so a good drive sets up short irons into the green. Cart lady did her job to keep us from getting thirsty.

Had a simple frost delay and instead of pushing tee times back, they cancelled our time with no notice. We only found out once we arrived at the course. Poorly managed golf club unfortunately.

Used the cross country ski trails that are set up. Also used the off leash dog area. So nice to have this available in the middle of the City.

Aug 11/21 was here for a golf vacation with my dad and uncle, had a tee time for 145pm for 18. When walked into the pro shop, the guy working at the till was very rude and not friendly at all! I said we have a tee time, told him we have the canada golf app, and he was like hmm ok. When I asked him could we split the bill 3 ways to pay? He was like i guess, and when he asked how we were paying I said credit. And he rudely said like how master card, visa, debit I need to know right now! The golf course is very nice, and your evening staff was very friendly when I came back to get my putter cover.
