So my first thought of playing here was "okay we are playing in Sherwood Park I'm sure I'm gonna get hassled for not being good enough" or something like that. I went in feeling a little nervous but oh my gosh was it a good experience, friendly staff that left you alone instead of a marshall following us. We usually don't keep many up unless they are really good but no issues here and the fairways were beautiful and really fun putting greens that were challenging. Slightly harder coarse then I usually play when it comes to the hills but incredible. I really want to play here again.

Strathcona Child Development Centre

We have been bringing our daycare children to Broadmoor Golf for the past decade. Each year, our children are taught basic golf skills and then go regularly throughout the summer to practice their swing. We have always enjoyed our experience there, but this year was the best yet. A decent public golf course with some challenging holes. There seem to be some drainage issues on the fairways after a hefty rain, but it doesn't negatively impact your day on the links.

My husband and I LOVE this course. I just started golfing last year, and they always made me feel welcomed. Very well kept, great staff, and challenging (but not too challenging course). Our go to course any day of the week!

We had an corporate event here and the catering was subpar food with subpar service. The hospitality manager had zero personality- the few things we asked for seemed like too much of a hassle fur grrr to complete. The Grounds Keeper on the other hand was great. The venue was small but the course was good. Green was well taken care of and the carts were in good condition. Proudly wouldn't host another corporate event here.

Great course. In the summer, the view coming up as you approach is second to none. Great chefs and food. Have been here multiple times for events and the meals were varied and plentiful. Great group of people, friendly members. Would recommend.

Great little golf course. My first time golfing this course and maybe it’s because I golfed a great game but I quite enjoyed this course. Course was clean, greens were very nice. The people working were following all of the covid rules, felt very comfortable in their clubhouse. They have an area to drop off golf cart, guessing so they can clean and sterilize them before the next golfer uses it. Very close to home and I will definitely golf this course again.

Updated: 12-Jun-2020 Broadmoor is in excellent condition. Best tee-boxes we have played yet. Immaculate fairways. The greens are much better than they look, the Poa annua grass is giving them a spotted look but the greens are running true and rolling smooth. The course is rebuilding the 6th green, so the hole was closed and we had to play their extra hole. Glad we went there to play, one of the best we have played this season.

Our son is 10 and this is his second year of being a member at Broadmoor. The staff have made it like his second home, and have really helped build his confidence and love for the sport! The course itself is in great condition, and the owner and staff certainly take pride in what they do.

The course itself is lovely but it really needs a course marshall to monitor pace of play. We skipped a hole to get ahead of an extremely slow group. However skipping the hole didn't help because we then waited on every shot waiting behind another slow group.

The course is so-so but the proshop staff are absolutely horrendous. If I could rate Trevor's customer service out of 100, he'd get -5. Only play here if no other course is available.

8.5 USGA handicap. I grew up in Sherwood Park and have fond memories playing and walking Broadmoor GC. I currently reside in Virginia. The fairways were in great shape with the exception of one hole that was closed and replaced with a very short par 3. The greens were 'hairy' and really slow and could have used a close shave. The fairways and the greens can both easily be fixed and are seasonal and/or temporary. No biggie. The course plays short. No biggie... club selection is important. Beautiful looking 'old' course. Four stars. But at 5 hours for a midweek and midday game, the pace of play was atrocious. The group of members I golfed with said this was normal as 'tournament guests' are hacking away at the course and the marshals refuse to do anything for fear of offending a good revenue source. The thing is... I played Broadmoor last summer too and I had to leave after 11 holes and 4.5 hours. This is a management issue and something needs to be done about the pace. Two stars. So yea... a decent well-rounded course if you have 5-6 hours to play 18.

Paid for 9 holes on a Sunday late morning this past weekend. They advised us they were 1 tee time behind when we checked in. Arrived at the first hole at our tee time and there were 2 groups waiting to tee off ahead of us. Slowest course I have ever played. 2.5 hours to golf 6 holes, no sight of the course marshall to ensure good pace of play. Called it a day after 6 holes. Disappointing to say the least.
