I ordered multiple trees(over 20) for 2 years, one of tree died this year w/o any reason. I have mainly used the email to inquire and order the trees with this shop, they answered very quickly about ordering the trees but when I asked about warranty for the dead tree, they simply ignored my inquiry, this is not the way to deal with the customer, bad custom service, very diappointed, will not shop here again.

Went in to see what plants were out ,found one I wanted but it was so expensive, I didn't get it , bought 3 other ones I wanted , that were a better price why are lupins so expensive . Not many things out yet want to get more perennials. Will check other places !

I'd been looking for a specific plant for a long time (Red Chokeberry) and I discovered this place on my way somewhere else. I popped in on my way by, not expecting they'd have it - but they did! They had knowledgeable and friendly staff, too. I'll go out of my way to visit again. I can't wait to see what else they have! :)

Last summer I purchased several bags of potting soil to fill my outdoor flower pots. The bags were heavy for me to manage to the car by myself. Without the need to ask for help, two wonderful employees brought the bags to my car and loaded them up in 2 seconds flat! Great customer service. Spring of 2018, I plan to return to chose plants for my planters from their vast selection of hardy plants. .

They do not honor warranties, purchased tree that half died following year. Told me they woild extend warranty and see if tree came back. They won't return phone calls. Trees installed crooked as well. Go elsewhere!

2020- The cedars we planted in 2019 per instructions, and caring for them, 7 of the 8 ended up dying before the end of the season (2019). After communicating with the company regarding, they agreed to replace them at 1/2 the price for the original ones as a warranty replacement. We paid it and the replacement ones were significantly smaller in width but survived this summer. 2019: We went to buy 3 ft black cedars for a hedge. Ended up buying 6 ft ones as they were so beautiful and reasonably priced. Staff is extremely helpful and were able to assist with suggestions for our raised planters.

This company does not stand by their work or warranties. Trees died shorly after being planted. Was told that they would be replaced in spring. Work was not completed but she threatened to take me to a collection agency for last payment even though many things left undone. Said she would send someone out on three separate occasions. No one ever showed up. Trees not replaced. Broke my fence with a promise to repair it. Did not return to glue down patio stones causing it to be hazardous. Patio dipping in middle. I tried to contact her several times to have work completed. She continues to ignore my messages.

Their tree warranty is questionable. One of my trees was failing (although planted and cared for by a landscaper) and I asked for advice on how they suggested to improve its health. While they offered suggestions ultimately the tree did not improve and they told me to wait another year. By that time my warranty was up...

The good news is they have a one year warranty. The bad news is, if there's a price increase within that time frame, they'll give you a new plant and you get the pleasure of paying the price difference. What the heck kind of warranty is THAT?! I will NEVER shop there again, nor will I, in good conscience, recommend it to anyone.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Answered all our questions so we were pretty impressed. The young lady that helped us ( I believe her name was Arlene) was amazing. We purchased two maple trees. Her and another wonderful lady helped load them in the trailer and secured them so they would not get damaged during the 40 minute drive home. Will definitely be going back there for future purchases.

Called and ordered delivery of soil and was told it would be delivered next day. Had crew with wheelbarrows and shovels all ready with pizza and beer and no soil. Even had email confirming delivery next day with invoice attached. Called next day as they were closed and was rudely told the invoice says today and was delivered this morning. No apology. Had issues with order and called. Was told I could come buy more products from them and mix into soil to get what I actually ordered. Then she put the phone down and walked away. Horrible customer service and over priced. Never use again.

Very surprised and dismayed that not one of the employees thought it was important to wear a mask, even though signs at the entrance and by cashier clearly stated masks are required. I guess that sign only applies to customers. Very disappointing they are not following safety protocols. Won’t be supporting that business for awhile.

I have always had great service at Oxford Insta-Shade. I love just walking through the gardens and looking at the plants. Last year my husband and I spent quite a bit of money on plants as we moved to our current house a year ago so we were starting fresh. I had lots of questions for the staff and they gave me great advice, even telling me not to buy a particular plant because it wouldn’t get the required amount of sun it needed so that I appreciated. I will be back soon.

They saw my RayBan sunglasses and tried to quote me at $500 to "install" 2 plants. When I asked them what the $500 was for, they said to just dig the hole (no soil to be added or anything to assist the plants' growth). They must think customers are deaf because it was a girl at the front who ran in to talk about "some girl looking rich". I was actually in my work clothes and quickly came in during a break to see the options, but I think you shouldn't try to rip off people simply because you THINK they're rich. Try it: go in looking nice and ask them about their $500 installation deal of the Yew bushes (which are $250 each plus this $500 dig a hole and nothing else fee). HILARIOUS! (Otherwise, they're just crooks with kids working there to try and look innocent)
