My fiancé and I had the standard Combination for Two (wanton soup, egg roll, chicken balls, chicken fried rice, beef chop suey). We loved everything except the chop suey. This was because the beef was unappetizing. Our hosts were very friendly and our food was served promptly. The restaurant had nice big tables for the various plates. A nice change from other establishments. My only other criticism would be that the entranceway feels cluttered and the chairs could stand to be replaced.

Ordered a combo and received 3 pieces of breaded chicken and a ton of chicken fried rice and more vegetables then beef. The gravy was yellow and soupy. This is by far the worst Chinese takeout I have ever ordered. Over priced!!!!!

Food tastes great. Portions are large. A combination could feed two. Prices are affordable compared to others. Service is always great. For pick up food is typically ready in 15 minutes. Hours are also great.

This is my go to chinese place in the city because they don't load the rice with bean sprouts like all the other places seem to do. I don't order anything besides chicken balls and rice for the most part so I won't comment on the food quality since there is a lot more to offer I'm just picky. Speedy delivery and friendly service. Never had a problem with my orders.

The service is very kind and will quickly recognise you as a regular. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey but still professional and very well decorated. Food is delicious, well prices, generous portion sizes and is served quickly. Also their extensive menu is HUGE! THEY have duck, quail and even lobster if it's in season. I'm a broke college student and can certainly recommend for a lovely affordable experience. They have food ranging from 8$ to 110$ a person!

I was absolutely blown away by how wonderful this restaurant was. I just did a quick google search for nearby Chinese and came across it. The decor is excellent, it feels like you’re in a very nice family dinner. The big tables even have awesome spinning disks to pass all the food around. Ordered two dishes and both were delicious. And portions were huge. It was a struggle finishing it, but I enjoyed it all. Service and prices were also excellent, but that shouldn’t be a surprise with the rest of my review. I look forward to coming back next time I visit Windsor.

I ordered the lemon chicken with chicken fried rice. Bottom of the fried rice was going bad and the top half was okay. They mixed good and bad rice together and thought it was okay to serve. The smell of the rotting rice was disgusting. It was vile and disgusting.

I have just ordered general Tao chicken from this restaurant tonight. The food is so terrible, the worst restaurant I ever tried in my life, I just tried one piece, then throw away all the rest of the food, it’s so so so horrible, I want to nauseous after I tried one piece. Never come back again.

Good if one likes authentic chinese, which is very different from "westernized" chinese. I found fewer things palatable of the ones I ordered, but I will try something else sometime to give it another try. There are no good views, as the windows are covered, which is also something authentic Chinese.

This is my go to place for Chinese as it's close. Most things I've ordered were good and portions are great. Not much different from your average Chinese restaurant but the owners are very nice people and that's what keeps me coming back and why I have 5 stars. Looking for a late night dinner? This is one of the few places that I found open when i couldn't find others especially on labour day. Good service and environment. Speed of delivery was pretty decent and the last but definitely not the least, the food tasted great along with the quantity. Although their chilli oil could be better with more spice it. Overall a well satisfied meal and worth a second try.

Came in to get take out, the order consistent of five items, we waited for an hour and fifteen minutes!!!! It wasn’t that busy and no one warned us that the wait was this long. People who came in to dine in after us got their food first. Employees had a very bad attitude. When we told the waitress that she should have told us about such a long wait she said nothing just made a face. No one ever apologized!!!

Small, family owned shop offering good southern style Chinese food for a reasonable price. We were here very late and were seated promptly, service was quick considering there was no one around and food came out quite quickly as well. Everything we had was quite good. Decor is reminiscent of a typical North American 90s nostalgic Chinese restaurant. I recommend the fuzhou fried rice, which was filling and tasty.

Just excellent stuff. It was late when we went so most of the food was heated up but still good. The service was nice. The wonton soup was really good tho. It was different than most wonton soups at other places. The wontons were actually of decent size and with meat.

Very cheap with the food. Ordered squid payed 12 dollsr for 10 small pieces, chicken fried rice was old and disgusting ,beef very chewy ,egg rolls a disaster no taste. Chicken soo gai full of rice and 4 pieces of chicken. Paid a 87 dollar worth and got nothing but combos full of rice and dried chicken and beef. And their home noodle that suppose to be mixed of seafood 2 piece of shrimp 1 piece of scallop and the rest dried pork. Disgusting very unsatisfied.. never again.

Do not eat here!!! This was by far the worst food Chinese I have ever had. I was visiting a friend and we ordered a general Taos chicken combo with chicken balls to share. When we opened the container it had an odd smell but I thought it might be the sauce. After a few bites we stopped eating the food because it tasted very weird. Within the next 20 mins I started throwing up! My friend got really bad food poisoning and didn’t go to work for a few days. They serve old food that is spoiled! I called to tell them to stop serving that food and they didn’t seem surprised at all. The young lady just offered me a free meal, which I said I did not want and respectfully declined!! I told them I only called to tell them to fix the issue so that no one else gets sick. The fact that she didn’t seem surprised was scary. If I could give them less then a 1 star I would!!!!

My husband, son, and I ate at Rose Garden about a week ago and absolutely loved it. The food was incredible and definitely worth the drive over from Detroit. We had mushroom fried rice, mushroom egg foo yung, chicken fried rice, fried chicken wings, and mixed vegetable soup. Everything was great! I am happy to pay the tolls to get to Rose Garden and will definitely dine there again. A must try!

It's not easy finding GOOD chinese food in Windsor. We tried this place last night and it was fantastic! The beef and broccoli, lemon chicken with veggies, fried rice, steamed rice, chicken balls and egg rolls made my taste buds dance! Maybe the egg rolls could be a little more crispy but still delicious and worth ordering again!

Stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering around looking for a dinner place near the Windsor Transit terminal tunnel bus. It is an obviously family run business and a total gem. The decor is wonderfully outdated - exactly what you'd hope for in a Chinese food restaurant. A real party for the eyes! My husband and I each ordered a combination plate and it was easily enough food for another 2 people. Food was hot, veggies were fresh, delicious. Bill with beverages was around $25. Servers were friendly and attentive. Amazing value for what we got. We'd go back for sure.
