We hired Ladybug to do our fall leaf maintenance for the plethora of trees we have in our yard, and do a final cleanup for the winter. They aren't the cheapest, but we got great results. I have no problems recommending them to anyone. We will use them again.

I wouldn't even bother giving them 1 star. No concept of professional of dealing with their appointments. I've had to reschedule 2 appointments basically because their employee or whatever DID NOT SHOW UP !!, or wouldn't even bother to call me and apologize for being late or absent. I really don't recommend dealing with such unprofessional and disrespectful business !!

Recently had Ladybug Landscaping (James) come to our house to stake up two cedars which had fallen during a windstorm. James was punctual, friendly and easy to deal with. He provided a very reasonable quote so we asked about pruning for other trees and bushes on the yard. His crew was here, right on time and did a great job. After 10 days I left a message to say if it does not work for them and they cannot do the job give me a call and I will try and find someone else. No call or email.. This was a time sensitive job as house was being listed for sale. VERY unprofessional - I would not waste my time with this company.

I am so happy, I have found a gardener I can trust!!!!! James of Ladybug Landscaping trimmed my cedars and did some garden clean up today. I did not know what to expect because I chose Ladybug through online research I had done. I felt fairly confident with my choice because the previous reviews of James’ workmanship were good. The negative reviews were all based on James not doing a ‘job unseen, over the phone estimate’. That actually made me happy. I believe that an accurate estimate can only be given AFTER a proper review of the task is performed. When James arrived he was very personable, respectful and HONEST. We discussed a number of my garden plants and I was very impressed with his knowledge. He knew the name, Latin and common, of every plant we discussed as well as the optimum growing requirements. James did a great job trimming the hedge and cleaning up the worksite. In addition I found his fee to be very reasonable. I will definitely use Ladybug Landscaping again.

We just spoke over the phone! Quite paranoid actually!!! Wouldn't give me quick price and he said oh "you are a competitor??? I only can give you price if I come to your place!!" Felt quite weird and pressuring as I had called at least 5 others who gave a range and possible charge pending inspection!!! I would want to know price range so I decide if I can afford it or not! Also why waste my time and company time when I don't know if I will afford it or not! Apparently he charges consultation fee of $45 which he said he would wave this month or something!! Despite its "nothing" and barely cost of dinner!!! Not sure if I would ever want to hire someone like this!

I've seen James at some of my favourite garden centres while I'm shopping and he treats the staff there terribly. I saw him yelling at the staff because they didn't have the plants he wanted on a cart ready to go for him, I guess he thinks he can get special treatment. He then started swearing so the ladies asked him to please watch his language since they have a lot of children at the nursery (I actually had my niece with me while this was happening) and he said to them "it's my mouth and I'll use it how I want." He's obviously going through some financial hardship as well because I ran into him again at the cashier and I heard him telling the cashiers that he would come back the next day to pay for the plants because he didn't have the money to pay for it now. I would never recommend or use the services of someone who treats people this way.

James did an amazing job redesigning the garden and incorporating all our specialized needs. The result is an amazing garden that can be used year round by our Montessori students. A natural environment in which to explore, play and sing. Now a year later, the garden is absolutely spectacular.

James was prompt and easily reachable more than once for updated strategic conversations on how to approach the project. He was gracious and attentive to our budget and went above and beyond to find creative solutions to satisfy our budgetary confinements. This was no easy job! But everyday his workers showed up on time and put their back into it with smiles on their faces and left the place looking amazing. James is a very kind man, with a sense of humor and an eye for how to beautify spaces on a budget.
