Do not trust this company with your money!! In August 2016 we hired Freshest Lushest Lawns (FLL) to create an interlocking patio and walkway for us. Douglas and Maria were great to deal with. They were very responsive to messages and we came up with a plan to start the work. We paid for the materials upfront which cost just over $6000. Douglas worked for a few days and dug up the 2 areas and then he stopped showing up. After months of multiple phone calls, texts and emails with no response from either Douglas or Maria we decided to take FLL to small claims court. The small claims judge ruled in our favour to get our money back and the process began in Jan 2017. After multiple court dates spanning over 2 years and many failure to shows on FLL part, Douglas was deemed in “contempt of court” for not showing up. Finally after a warrant was put out for his arrest we were able to get him into the courthouse and negotiate a plan. We agreed on fair monthly payments which would allow FLL to pay us our money back. We received some of the monthly payments but not all of them. The payments ceased in March of 2019 and FLL still owes us $1415. Our last court date was in April 2019. We decided to close the case with small claims court at that time because Douglas and Maria promised to continue to make payments until the remaining sum was paid. We trusted them to keep their word. It’s now June 2020 and we’ve yet to receive another payment. All of our phone calls, texts and emails go unanswered. I’m leaving this review to warn others, do not trust Freshest Lushest Lawns and Douglas and Maria. It’s not fair that they stole our money and that we have had to waste so much of our time and money in court to get it back. Please do the right thing Maria and contact us so that we can settle this and get the rest of our money back.

Fake, fraud, and worst unfinished job ever. They came over to my house, they only worked for a few days, then they disappear for a few days and then repeat. Then one they didn't come and they didn't come back.Took 13K and the job was not even worth 2K, they destroyed my backyard and front yard, and my fence.Broke my front and back stairs.Would put 0 stars if I could.Be aware of this company and a person name Douglas W.

Stay away from this company. This guy is con artist. He will come with his dad and will explain you how good he is. This is his scam. He will take your money and will disappear. Don't trust this guy. I have hired him to do my patio and porch. He took $12900 from me to buy materials, guess what he never came back. I was stupid enough to believe him. He brought his wife who is also a bigger fraud. Her name is Maria, you will see she gives herself ratings at google. Please stay away from this company, if you don't want to go through what I been through. He made a big mess in my backyard. Now it will cost me lot of money to fix his mess. I have logged compiling to Peel police about his fraudulent activity. Please alert all of your friends and family not to fall for his scam. The good review from other people is his people. Don't believe them. As I mentioned her wife did review now she removed her's review and updated with another good review from his worker.

Douglas & crew have been handling my snow removal for two winters now, and today I had them in to do the Spring Cleaning yardwork. Excellent service (including Maria handling email and scheduling coordination), they even impressed the retired landscaper neighbours. They came highly recommended to me by a friend, I have since highly recommended them to others. I'll be happy to have them back in the fall, and through the winter to come!

I had sent an email to them asking for help to come and shovel my driveway this winter As we had a crazy winter, upon arrival they have gave me a price for the season and compared to the others it was evenly priced, they came about 20 times since December and did a great job every time, a lot better then the last company. now I am having them fix my pool deck this summer and couldn't be happier Not sure about these other reviews but we had a great experience with this company along with the referral they came with Signed very happy client

Wow this company is amazing had my walkway leveled after years not being done as I am the new owner of this home..Douglas was so professional and does amazing work he even got rid of the ants that were nesting underneath..Price was unbeatable by far..all my neighbors are in awe lol..thank you so much FLL...

We were looking to have a simple patio installed in our backyard to increase our outdoor living space as we have a small deck. We did some research collected quotes and settled with FLL as they were very responsive, had previous work we liked and were a fair price. The patio was completed in two days and we can not be happier. Douglas and his team were prompt everyday, cleaned up every evening and we’re very professional. The choice of stone was endless but we settled on a Techoblock-Eva. It has beautiful textures and looks great! All COVID protocols were taken into consideration such as hand sanitizer and masks when interacting with one another and were provided by the FLL team. We absolutely recommend them for any patio/hardscape work and will contact them in the future should we require anything else.

We hired FLL with general instructions to install a retaining wall and stairs on a very hilly section of our backyard. Doug came up with the design for the project. We are absolutely pleased with the work Doug and his crew accomplished!! It is better than we could have ever imagined and we love the built in planters!! We are excited to finish the look with flowers and foliage. It is so easy to see that Doug takes much pride in your work. There was a lot of manual labour involved due to the configuration of our backyard. Both Doug and Maria were easy to work with through every stage of the project. We highly recommend them."

I hired Freshest Lushest for snow removal at my Mother's property last winter, after having a very bad experience with a fake company. Douglas and his crew were very prompt and thorough . The job is difficult, as the sidewalk ( which is on a corner property) is used by public school children, so it has to be cleaned before they pack it down. The sidewalk was shovelled and salted on time, and a path was maintained through the snowbank on the corner! Definitely recommended :)

We wanted to do sodding in our extremely bumpy, weedy backyard and I got quite a few quotes then this guy came and said he would fix the problem with $400 by adding ground pounding it and new seed, few days later the quote came almost $700. Douglas is a con artist and will do anything to take your money. Be careful! today we got our sod lay with another company it was over $1000 but well worth it. This guy would have only solved the problem for short term.

Douglas and his team installed patio in a decent time, and it looks great. My wife likes it and this is the most important to me. They cleaned everything after work, added top soil and removed all the mess. Good communication with Doug, his co-worker and Maria.

Love love love my new front patio/driveway area! I hired Freshest Lushest Lawns to get ride of my garden area at the front and turn into a nice interlocking patio space with a sectioned off area for some nice flowers! It turned out better than I could imagine. Doug was amazing when it came to helping me visualize what I wanted and the colour selections. Him and his team were fantastic with the installation. It was done timely (even with Covid delays), and for a fair price! They were all very professional and well mannered! You get what you pay for, and this team delivers. Highly recommend!

We moved into our home in winter. When the snow thawed in the spring we noticed that the interlocking brick driveway that the previous owners had installed 2-3 years prior was sinking in various places. I called Freshest Lushest Lawns to inquire about the work that had been done and any warranties that might be in place. I didn’t have high hopes since we weren’t their original customers and didn’t have any documentation about the work that had been done. I spoke to the owner, Douglas, who remembered the project right away. I was delighted when he offered to stop by that upcoming weekend to take a look at the driveway while we were out of town. We agreed to follow-up the next week. Communication became a challenge after our initial phone conversation. I understand that the company might have been busy with new work during high season and that, even so, the deficiencies may not be covered by a warranty. At a minimum I was hoping that Douglas might be able to explain how the interlocking brick was installed so we could figure out how to resolve the issues. A few months later, I left a final voicemail message in a last-ditch attempt to get some answers. Not much more than an hour later Douglas surprised me by showing up at my door. Within 36 hours Douglas and his crew had addressed all of our concerns. This was more than we had hoped for.

I don't understand these reviews . Maria has been a pleasure to communicate with always responds quickly , their prices are very reasonable and very fair. I have had a few different contractors cut my lawn over the years and Freshest Lushest Lawns have by far done the best job. Thank you!!!

If you value your money DO NOT hire these people. They are the worst company that I have worked with for snow removal. Any time there is a snow event ..they are busy. Like today I was told after a major snow event I was told "Unfortunately we are all booked up for tonight. I only have one guy shoveling today. All our winter machines are getting repaired". And this is not one time. I cant count the number of times they have not showed up. And even when they come, they don't clean walkways and do the bare minimum that anyone can do. No Maria, you did not service me adequately ANYTIME. You claim you came and did my place 16 times. No you didn't ..you barely came 4-6 times and that too, and that too did a really poor job. When a particular business has two reviews and both are really bad, that is pretty telling. I wish I had checked the reviews before I paid you 600 dollars for 3 months. BEWARE
