Last year Mowology sprayed our lawns for the European Chafer beetle. It didn't work! Our lawn was torn to shreds. Tim's response: We'll do it again next year (2016) for half price! When I called to schedule Tim reneged saying it was now banned. Clearly his word is meaningless. Within an hour I arranged for a more reputable company to do the job!

Requested a quote from Mowology to replace our current lawn (3000+ sq ft). From the quote to installation, Mowology was professional and friendly. They answered all my questions quickly and provided guidance on lawn maintenance as well. Tim and his crew came at 8am and completed the installation the same day. They provided good clean up and checked the sprinkler system to ensure that the entire lawn had coverage (pointing out areas where hand watering may be needed) before they left. They really thought of everything including getting a water permit. The yard looks lovely and we hope to keep it that way with Mowology's help. Thank you, Tim and associates!

Terrible service. Did not show up when promised and did a lousy job when they did. Impossible to communicate with and the owner/manager is rude and obnoxious, which you can tell from his responses to other negative reviews. Including his response to this one. He accused me of lying when it is he who is posting falsehoods. Most (not all, to be fair) of what he claims is flat out not true. And, this has nothing to do with the Jewish Community Centre, demonstrating that he doesn't even know who he is talking about.

We've been using their service for 3 years at least. No problems with Chafer Beetles, as long as you follow their instructions. One year there was a ban on lawn watering, so we didn't do the Beetle treatment (my decision). I had two tiny spots of lift, but that was it. You have to water the treatment in! I like this company.

Used them last year and was happy with the service. This year I called and said I'd like to use the service again. I told Tim I had help available to mow my lawn one time as it was getting out of hand. He said they would be there the following week on Tues or Wed, so I didn't mow the lawn while I had a mower available. Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri passed with no mow and no word. I called, then texted and was told they were behind schedule and would be by the following week on Mon or Tues. It's now Thursday. My lawn has gone to seed and is an absolute mess. I could have mowed it myself, and hired someone else 3 weeks ago if they were too busy. Very unhappy with the lack of communication and having me wait 3 weeks only to never show up.

These guys are great. Had them aerate my lawn and then come back a couple of weeks later and power rake. For the power raking they did more than I expected, cut the lawn first, then power raked and raked up all the thatch and moss and then overseeded the bare areas. Excellent work at a good price.

Thanks to Mowology I have one of the only lawn on my side of the block that is not a disaster due to crows digging for chafer beetle grubs. The email informing me when mowing will take place is helpful but weather dependent. I understand that next year this will include information about when fertilization, chafer beetle treatment, etc. will also take place. They have reliably looked after my lawn now for many years.
