My advice with regard to Greenbloom - stay as far away as possible. Despite hiring them, and constantly trying to get them to attend my home to do not only regular maintenance but add flowers to my planters, fix lighting, etc. nothing ever happened. I emailed, left voice mails and finally, by June 20th, had tired of the excuses and non-responses. I finally got fed up, hired Lawrence Park Landscaping, and have been very happy with their service. Lo and behold, at the end of August I had three charges for landscape yard maintenance charges suddenly appear on my Visa card. Yet no one from Greenbloom had ever done any services for me. Yahel seems to think otherwise. I ask, though - why no charges for three months? No monthly invoices delivered to my home? Why no response to my voice mail telling them I thought the way they did business was terrible and they were fired (this back in June)? It's funny, if you go to work with leaves and brush in your backyard and then come home to find those same leaves and brush there, you'd think one could figure out that work isn't being done at one's home. It was only until I hired LP that things started happening. In any event, after much wrangling and arguing with Yahel, I agreed - in order to resolve the issue with regard to the Visa charges - to being credited for two months' worth and paying for one month, even though I still maintained the work had not been done, in the interests of dealing with this matter once and for all. To date, six weeks later, only one credit was applied to my Visa card. I inquired about the second credit, and surprise! Now I owe apparently another month! Despite the fact that Yahel, in writing, advised he would credit back two of the three charges, he has not done so. In fact, he is now resiling from that position, leaving me with no choice but to file a complaint with Visa. The amounts in dispute are not huge (in fact, less than $400). But as a matter of principle, I cannot abide by the behaviour of Greenbloom in this situation. Caveat emptor to the next customer of this "business." Shameful conduct.

Greenbloom recently tidied up our backyard and parking space, with a new retaining wall for the garden, fence repair, clean up and removal of old stone/tree trunks, as well as new beautiful white gravel. I contacted Ohad at Greenbloom Landscaping to see if he could install sod, having battled weeds, grubs and crabgrass unsuccessfully for many years. He not only said he could do it, but could do it within the week. He came to do a site visit, confirmed the requirements and agreed to plant some boxwood bushes as well. He came with the crew three days later and within the space of a few hours they had resodded my small front and back lawn and they looked like new. There was a small issue with the measurement so they were a couple of rolls of sod short, but the crew came back the next day as promised and installed the extra sod at no extra cost. He charged me what he had quoted me. I highly recommend Ohad and Greenbloom Landscape Design. Professional, quality work and he and his crew are a pleasure to deal with. P.S. Follow instructions he and his crew give you. I've been watering my sod to maintain my investment in their workmanship. Also, if you have to deal with raccoons, a tip for new sod is to put tent pegs in the corners till the sod takes. It works!! I've deterred them after two days of their rolling up the sod for grubs.

If you have a large lawn and are mostly interested in grass-cutting, then these are the guys for you. They will show up as arranged and cut grass with their own (gas-powered) tools quickly and efficiently. However, if what you are looking for is weeding, leaf cleaning, and maintenance of plants, or really anything that needs to be done by hand vs with power tools, Greenbloom is not able to fulfill its promises. The crew isn't familiar with plants and doesn't recognize the difference between weeds and desired plants. The "weeding" that they do do consists of cutting the vegation with power tools, and removing large amounts of soil in addition to the vegetation, which makes the yard waste bags that they use too heavy to be moved, and often rejected by the city collectors. Despite the description of services on their website and in their contract, you can expect that the bulk of the work they will do consists of mowing, edging, and blowing. Consider their rates accordingly. Edited to add that on cancellation of contract, Mr. Melamed began sending insulting and threatening emails to me, suggesting that he would place a lien on my house if I didn't continue to pay him for non-delivery of service.

Poor, Poor, Poor, customer service not to mention professionalism.....when I asked a question to the owner, he simply hung up on me and when I tried to call back, the call went straight to voicemail. Not recommended and will NEVER call back again..... Now they say they dont have me in their database, what a joke. Didn't know they even had one, or knew what one was. Acknowledging past mistakes doesnt mean denying them or it ever happening. Please people read their comments below regarding my comments. As soon as people started liking my review, all of a sudden they spring into action. It's ok Greenbloom, people already see your company for who they are. Perform good business and customer service, and get good honest reviews in return. Customer or not, a first impression is a lasting one. The fact that I'm still writing about my experience (After All This Time) proves exactly that.

So, so happy. I contacted Greenbloom about a fairly small but annoying/inconvenient job and Shir was so kind and professional. He did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I know next to nothing about gardening and Shir offered low maintenance but beautiful suggestions and explained maintenance very clearly to me. I even reached out to the office after the job was completed with another maintenance question and they went above and beyond --not only did they answer it, but they also made sure I had what I needed to address it.

I found the best snow removal company I was searching in the web for a landscaping company, which could remove snow from my garden as soon as possible. I had called a couple but nobody could make it in the next 24 hours. I was starting to get desperate when I bumped in the website of Greenbloom Landscaping. I called them and said that they could squeeze an appointment the same day – about two hours later. This was thrilling news! I just hoped that they will show up. I did want a good job but at that time I cared more about getting the job done than about quality of snow removal service. I hoped for average work and got the best. I had the cleanest garden and sidewalks in the neighborhood. Some of my neighbors still wait for their contractors. I am glad I got the best!

In a word, awful. From the first time I tried to get a service booked and the account manager didn’t respond for weeks to servicing my neighbour’s property rather than mine by accident to doing such a terrible clean up job that it looked like they hadn’t visited at all and then refusing to take accountability and make it right I would recommend you steer clear of greenbloom. Initially was happy with the stonework but then when the walkway and the stone ledge started to fall apart within a few months: he kept promising to come back to fix it but he never did. I even waited for him one day but he didn’t show up. Then at one point he even claimed it was my fault saying a truck had driven on one of the ledges (it had but AFTER and it was only one very small section and not the majority of the stone wall he built which crumbled pretty much from the get go). Raz did admit that it was his responsibility and apologized even but he still never showed up despite my calling and emailing and waiting for him. I gave up. Don’t believe it when he says he will stand by his work.
