The Financial Mechanic

DO NOT BUY CRUSHED ROCK FROM THIS STORE. Ordered some crushed rock. We expected some dust to be on the rock, as this is normal. However, the rock was delivered with a significant amount of dirt. I called the owner and the owner did nothing to resolve the issue. In fact, he accused me of being unreasonable. From the 1.5 yards of rock we filled four 5 gallon pails of full dirt after watering the rock. We ordered rock not dirt. Worst part of it is, the owner did not even apologize or make any efforts to help us out. The mulch product was good though and we were satisfied with this. Many competitive stores sell stone so we advise you go elsewhere.

Bad experience with their customer service. I purchased a boulder and ask for the delivery. Was charged $130 for the delivery fee. After the driver placed it on the spot we went to the street to see how does it look. Then come back to tell him if he could adjust the direction to facing a little bit to the street. We were been asked to pay an additional charge of $85. It is not the right thing a good business does. Be aware that you are not allowed to do any adjustments after it sits on the place initially.

I appreciate that they have sell 5g pails of product, especially when you don’t need that much. I needed some decorative rock to fill in some areas but didn’t need a half of a yard!! I found that a half of a yard would be too much & they offered up the idea of using their 5g pails. Brilliant idea!! Also, the fact that a half of a yard is only HALF the price, is awesome! None of the BS pricing. Thank You to the staff for being so helpful. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be telling my family & friends about the amazing service I received!

We had a very bad experience with them because we bought cssi 20 bags of bagged mulch black stripes Scott's brand for $ 8.99 each and yesterday I was at home depot and I was surprised to see that they sell the same bags of mulch black stripes for $4.95 each , almost half of what we paid at Saskatoon landscape store.????

They are fantastic. Have purchased a 1/2 yard of play sand and a full yard of rock. They are always so friendly and helpful. We always go to the Saskatoon Landscape Store even though it is a drive across the city for us.

Bad experience with customer service, they won’t replace some of my damaged sod with out talking with the manager, and even If I would, no guarantee they would replace it, at Wilson’s they would replace it, no questions asked! Definitely will not shop again at Saskatoon Landscape store, I’m not recommending it!

Very disappointed with the play sand. I had 1.5 yards delivered and it's was great until it started to dry. Once it dries it becomes rock hard and needs to be turned with a spade before every use.

Good service, except that one (of three) of the wooden pallets of flagstone that we received was damaged in transportation, and so was the flagstone within it, and no recognition given to this. Except that you take a chance when you purchase a pallet. Which I agree - but I would not think that would apply when the wooden pallet itself was damaged and thus the flagstone inside. Disappointing.
