I called to inquire on some rocks, the gentleman, Perry, was not helpful and presenting to me that he had other better things to do then my questions and or concerns. When I came to purchase the rocks, he was extremely arrogant and rude, and I asked to see the rock prior to payment and he made the comment with a sigh, "I have people to talk to, business to take care", and then said ,"fine" and brought me to the rock pile. He made me fell extremely guilty for asking questions for requiring the need to be completely satisfied for this purchase. After purchase and payment, I mentioned I was disappointed and unsatisfied at the level of customer care and he instantly became defensive and very argumentative and unfazed in his role during this interaction.

When I look to make a purchase from somewhere I evaluate based on a few criteria. Price, customer service, and professionalism. I am giving a 1 because they only passed from price. I found the service to be very poor, the guy I dealt with was very rude and abrupt and seemed to care less that I was a paying customer. If people want to earn my business I want to feel that my needs are met and in this transaction that was the farthest from my experience.

Went in today on whim and ended up ordering 4 yards of river rock for same day delivery. The delivery truck nearly beat us home. Very impressed with driver as he was courteous and very professional. Perry was a ton of help in store and was impressed the “small town locally owned vibe” if that makes any sense. Rock looks great and have already recommended these guys to a few neighbors.

Stopped in to buy topsoil, 1st guy was very polite and said he would check the pile as it had rained recently, said it was good and another guy would be right there to load - when he came up he asked what I was after and then he said they don’t sell to the public, directed me to someplace else and drove away in the skid steer.
