If you haven’t been out to Floral Acres lately, you are in for a pleasant surprise! The renovations that were started last year are progressing nicely!!! The atmosphere is very calming, in fact I didn’t want to leave!! Staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable!! Looking forward to stocking up on my vegetable and herb plants soon!!

They have a lot of beautiful indoor tropical plants! I got a pitcher plant, basil, thyme, and a banana tree which was on sale. I got a couple pots that were a bit pricy but really beautiful! I also got shake on fertilizer for my fiddle fig. I really wish I had bought a fiddle fig tree from Floral acres because they have them for only $25 and they came with three stems instead of one. I got one for $27 from Walmart and it is not doing well at all. Also the staff were really helpful and friendly- I'll definitely be coming back when they have their summer plants!

I bought a standard hibiscus and found spider mites on it. And the plant died after a month. There was also mold on the Monstera plant I bought from them. I tried to reach out to them through email but unfortunately heard no reply.

Outdoor perennial plants are very expensive for being so late in "planting" season. The annuals & perennials that are on sale look really unhealthy and are still crammed into a 4- or 6-plant tray or a 4" pot. However, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and greenhouses are always clean and well organized with good signage. ...updated to 5 stars - thank you for the info regarding planting perennials in fall instead of spring/summer.

The selection and price of the plants is good but, lately the staff aren’t very open, friendly or approachable every time I’m in there. They honestly seem like moody teenagers. They were also registered on the BringFido website and I like to bring my young Shepherd shopping with me to get some mental stimulation. However, when I got there they said dogs weren’t allowed.. I won’t be attending Floral Acres in my regular plant shopping trips. All the other greenhouses in the city greet me and my dog with excitement, good plant advice and lots of treats!

Beautiful flowers and the staff helped me pick out a few plants to finish up my yard. Seemed knowledgeable and willing to help. I am quite colour blind but my wife has assured me the ladies did a good job at helping me bring some colour to our yard. The only downside is their parking arrangements. It was quite busy and the parking lot almost seems too small for what they need; was a little hard to get around.

I called the greenhouse and they took my name and number to call me back. I highly recommend Floral Acres. 1. They have supported my online auctions for Make-A-Wish Saskatchewan. 2. Staff are friendly and supportive and helpful. 3. They deliver here in Saskatoon free of charge. I have shopped in store and recently made two purchases online. I am very happy with the plants I have received. Of course when bringing new plants into my home I always treat for bugs/pests. These greenhouses have a lot of plants to care for and bugs and pests are normal. So not uncommon to spot webs etc when receiving them. Also keep in mind webbing might be from a good spider. ???? While one of these plants had a web I did not see any spiders and no damage to the plant. I am confident that the neem oil treatment will take care of anything I missed. Thank You Floral Acres
