The mosquito service is totally useless this is the first year we’ve paid for mosquito maximum defense and it doesn’t seem to work at all we’ve been re-treating ourselves before the weekend so that we can use our patio. Not happy at all.

TruGreen Mosquito ???? Defense Spray WORKS !! Even in the rural farm areas where I live. I had my doubts at 1st. But my Sons spend more time outside then I do, & they’re VERY HAPPY NOT GETTING EATEN ALIVE at their fire pit like they used to !!

We have been with Trugreen several years, I’m very unhappy about your service this year. My lawn is turning brown due to over fertilizing. On top of that last week, on 9/14 the tech #9512 fertilized, then did a separate application for insect fertilizing for cinch bug & armyworms without coming to the door to ask if we wanted the additional service, or having someone call us about this. I was shock to be billed for the two applications. It was over $200.00. My husband has checked our lawn and has not found cinch bugs or armyworms. I feel I should be refunded the extra charge as I did not approve it.

Outstanding customer service. I called them and was given a price along with an expectation. They came out and sprayed my entire yard. Including under our trampoline and deck. They now have my yard looking like a golf course.

I would give no stars if possible. They completely burned out my lawn. It went from a lush green color to straw color. It also became very thin and in the end, only dirt is left. They came out to aerate and reseed and nothing took, as Ryan, the tech, came out to apply weed killer and fertilizer 2 days later. Now, this spring, they say they will again reseed in mid-end April when seeding is best. The manager said that it was from over fertilizing! I was with Trugreen for 15 years in Northern MI and my lawn was brought back from a weed patch when I purchased the home , to the envy of the neighborhood. This is unacceptable. And an eyesore. and very stressful for a new homeowner.

I have always had great care from them. They can be a bit pricey, but when I used other companies....my grass didnt look nearly as good. And their service men are honest and reliable. I have watched other companies hop out of their trucks, slap a sign up, and spray 10 feet of my lawn.

Worst service ever! Would never ever recommend them to anyone. Ruined our brand new fence. Never came back to fix or clean the new fence they sprayed. We contacted them several times and they still never resolved the issue. Poor service. Did not notice any difference on my lawn. One maintenance gentlemen dumped a huge pile of grass seed in one huge clump on front lawn. Also did not appear to do the backyard on 2 occasions. They maybe spent 1O minutes on lawn when they came. Awful customer service. Not worth the money. Spent so many times trying to get the issues resolved. The best part is their sales team contacted us as a valued customer for returning customer discounts after they sent our balance to a collection agency. One of the customer supervisors said she would call me back directly and did not. Also was told this before. Had the original Branch call me back and said they would clean my fence which was 7 months after the fact. Awful service. From now on we will use a local business or property landscaper that is honest and someone who does great work. Plan to pay someone who guarantees a good result and actually takes pride in doing good job. This company does not care about the results, their service or their customers. #neverusetruegreenlawncareever

The WORSE lawn service, ever!! I will NEVER use them again. I have more weeds and my lawn has balds spots where they killed my lawn trying to kill my weeds. They said they would come back and seed, last fall. I've not heard from them yet. Over two years of service with them, paid in full. I've contacted Tru Greens headquarters with my complaints.

TruGreen has stuck to it's promise of giving me the results I was looking for in lawn care. With all the issues that had arisen from the spring rains, they were quick to remedy the problems and some. I had an over abundance of weeds that emerged in the early fall and within days TruGreen was out with a weed killer and fertilizer that has given my lawn a new look. I have had their service for quite some time and would recommend them to all.

EDIT: I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because they gave me a partial refund which I'm happy with. Full story: I paid $400 for 6 treatments. I haven't heard anything from them in over a month. No one showed up for their last scheduled visit, and no actual explanation nor apology was given. I got a missed call from them earlier, and when I finally got a hold of someone, I was told that they want to do a grub control service which is an additional cost. I said "You guys haven't given me any fertilizer in over a month" I also added that "Throughout my last few conversations, I was told 3 different things from 3 different people" The representative was unapologetic and not very helpful nor understanding. They called me 17 hours after leaving this review, I assumed to clear things up but no. Jasmine from Tru Green trying to sell me "Mosquito repellent treatment". I said "Jasmine, you guys haven't been here in over 4 weeks and nobody showed up for the last scheduled treatment. I'm not happy with the service." HER RESPONSE "YOU NEED TO TAKE THAT UP WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, I'M IN THE SALES DEPARTMENT." So appalling, what a shame.
