Our landscaping company (Old South Lawn, Garden & Construction) has used V&P's from, I believe, the first year they opened (2007). With several other suppliers in the city to choose from, it has been the level of service we receive that brings us back consistently, season after season. Owners Jason and Melissa consistently go the extra mile with respect to deliveries and bringing in top quality products for our clients. We have personally sent clients over to V&Ps to see Jason over the past 7 years, and upon follow-up, we have always received great reviews on how they were treated during their visit. The V&P team is friendly and efficient, and the management is honest, reliable and generally just great people to deal with. I would highly recommend V&Ps to other landscape companies like ours, and homeowners alike.

I found V and Ps 2 or 3 years ago. It's the only place I'll go to now. I've used them nearly a dozen times, they've always been VERY pleasant to deal with, very quick to get you back on the road. Very fair prices as well.

Attention customers who is looking to purchase a landscaping stuff such as SOD topsoil I want to warn you because it happened to me and I don't want to happen it to you I purchased some stuff From this V&Ps the sod I got from them was all molded and had to replace everything Topsoil I got from them they brought less than what I paid for and had rocks I went back there and asked them to replace the sod for a different one but they refused to do so and they were very very rude I will tell you guys they look to be friendly until they collect the money from you but once they do so they don"t care about costumers and they hold no responsibility for their garbage product they are selling If you are shopping for landscaping stuff don't go there Stay away from these rode terrible people you should check out Fisher on exeter road they have the best product available. If you ignore this review you will be disappointed and you are going to scratch your head this place should be shut down for good Adit Dec 22 2015 The sod was laid with in 20 min after it was delivered but it was already all melded and it did smell terrible I went to your office and ask to replace the sod but you didn't care and you treated e like a trash keep my $500 and be rich I would like to say to costumers stay away from this place I got burned very badly.

Was working on a front and backyard renovation which involved river rock, hpb, paving stones and alot of calculations. When I called the gentleman that answered the phone was great. I gave him my measurements of the 5 gardens and patio area we were building. He did the calculations for me and was bang on. He gave me the price and recommendations and when I could expect delivery. It arrived on time and exactly where I asked it to be put. Will continue to use only them for my future projects. Highly rated

While delivering top soil the driver snapped two large limbs off my neighbor's tree. Didn't really care, I complained. I was told they'd drop off a refund of my delivery free. The owner changed his mind and later refused to honor that refund.

Unbelievably poor service from staff including the owner Jason. We called asking for advice on a product to complete our patio and were recommended the wrong product. When we called back to have the issue corrected the owner and staff refused to acknowledge their part on the error and blatantly lied about it. Even when we agreed to keep with incorrect product and not be refunded for it the owner refused to to assist us in any way and basically offered us that he would come pick up the wrong product but he's keeping the money we paid for it and if we want the correct product we'll have to pay the delivery again. This company shows absolutely Zero regard for their customers and its clear from how the owner himself spoke to us that this is how he runs his company. For an owner to not be willing to work with the customer and so unwilling to come to a compromise that will correct and issue for a customer says everything about a company. Don't order from this company - Grande River Rocks and Fisher Top Soil are much much better when it comes to service and knowledge.

I have a very bad experience with the workers in the place ... they do not have enough experience in dealing professionally with their customers, especially it was my first visit to them last week to buy some stones, but I was surprised that it looked like it was full of silt and mud and it was not good at all ...When I came back to them to exchange some of them there was anger at two people who were there and oh no wonder ... I was asked if you want clean stones you have to fill them yourself ... Is this respect for the customer? Does this indicate professionalism in dealing with customers? This is the ultimate absurdity I have ever seen.

I was compelled to write this review as I continue to rake pounds and pounds of rocks and pebbles out of the yards of triple mix “top soil” I purchased from V&P back in the spring and put down. Terrible quality, especially considering top soil is in their name. I ended up purchasing bags of cheap top soil from Home Depot to cover some of this mess and it’s tremendously better quality than what was provided via V&P. Will never purchase from here again.

This is what V&P is really about. They don't care about their customers or the business they run. My experience was unfortunate. It started off with reasonable pricing that led me to spend close to $800 there. As the product arrived in an overflowed truck container, the stones mixed into the mulch as the container dumped on my driveway (along with puddles of oil from the truck) and created a mess that took me several hours to separate. I complained (politely) and received a call from the owner of the garden centre. I was insulted and not expecting the unprofessional and careless attitude of "Jason." He was sarcastic, impatient, and insulting. He rudely insisted that it was hardly an issue and that I had "barely anything" to clean up. Once he had my money, he didn't care about delivering his end of the deal the right way and he is the owner. What does that say about this business? Don't bother spending your money there.

First of all the guy I dealt with in the yard was very nice he gave me all the incorrect pricing but was nice. Also the delivery guy was also nice. The guy on the phone who I believe is management was nothing but rude! The price I was given in the yard was very different once it came to paying and the guy was rude to me about it. They dropped large stone off on the wrong day in the wrong place blocking my only car in. They came and moved them but he was very rude about having to do this. I ordered 6 rocks 5 of which were actually delivered I never recieved a receipt so now I have to track that down. Did I pay for 6 and only get 5 I will never know. Nothing but a headache.

There's the good and bad. The Good: Lady I spoke to on the phone was polite and helped me with what I needed. Which she recommended the 3 Way Topsoil for my garden beds. Delivered and placed where I wanted it as I couldn't be there for the delivery. Probably got more than I needed as it filled both my large raised garden beds with plenty left over. The Bad: The soil did have a lot of uncomposted grass in it and quite a few rocks. The rocks I can handle as they are easy to pick out but the grass I have been constantly having to pick out of the beds. I do think this soil could have used a lot more compost added to it. Nor is it any good to use in planters as it goes hard as a rock. If the soil had a better addition of composted material in it, to have made it more of a rich soil I would have given it a 5 star rating.
