Never again. Called for window washing service. Initially I was impressed at what seemed like a very organized company. Estimate was done over the phone and via Google Street View. Seemed like a good idea. I should have known better. After receiving the initial estimate, I read the terms and conditions of the contract only to find out that there is an additional charge for double-paned patio doors and windows. This was never communicated to me during the phone interview. The question never asked if I had double paned windows. So, being an honest person, I reached out to the company and told them that we had some double-paned windows and that I wanted the estimate to be reviewed. The person on the other end kept insisting that most people are happy enough with a simple inside and outside cleaning and the it wasn't worth the additional charge to do the additional work for cleaning the inner panes of glass on the double windows and door. I insisted because I knew that the inner panes were quite dirty and needed cleaning. The important thing to mention here is that in the company's terms and conditions, it clearly states that the company is allowed to charge additional fees while the work is being done WITHOUT notifying the customer of the need for additional fees!!! This is why I insisted that it be added to the estimate so that they would not use this clause as an excuse to add additional fees. Their terms and conditions also state that window and patio door rails are subject to basic cleaning and not a deep cleaning of corners etc. I was dissapointed at that but understood and accepted this limitation. The day arrived for the work to be done. Working from home, I was really busy on many conference calls and was not able to follow the workers around. It was only after I paid them and they left that I noticed some rails were not even touched. Some of them had loads of dead leaves piled up and had not been cleaned at all. I understand and accept what was stated as "basic cleaning of rails" but not touching them at all does not qualiy as basic cleaning as far as I'm concerned. I immediately took pictures and sent them to the company asking them to adress the issue. It took them over a week to acknowledge and respond to my email by telling me that a support ticket was created. In the mean time I cleaned the rails myself because it was taking so long for them to address it. When I finally heard back from them, they offered simply to provide a $20 credit for the next service call and they also offered to come back to clean the windows again. I refused the offer seeing that I had already cleaned the rails and that I had no intention to call them back for more work. I asked for a partial refund (for the additional fees that I paid for the double-paned windows) but have since been ignored. They expect their customers to respect their terms and conditions but it is quite evident that they don't respect them themselves. I would stay away from them.
