I called for a soil delivery on Sunday May 17 for soil , next delivery Wed May 20 between 12-2, fine, Wed May 20, 0205, no scheduled delivery! I called T&T, female said that “they were behind delivery will be arriving shortly”! There was No Apology, I mentioned that I would have appreciated a Customer Call in this regard about a possible delay, no response ! Delivery came at 0235, driver offered No Apology on being late, only handed us the receipt! This is not customer service !!

Needed some sand for my kids sandbox. I had checked out a few other places before stopping at T&T. They're sand was by far the nicest...really fine...awesome for digging in and easy to sculpt. Best part of all they delivered it an hour after I ordered.

I called them just earlier to ask about soils. I wanted to ask some questions and to clarify on measurements, but because I am Deaf and I called through the relay service, she hung up on me and the ip relay told me that based on the voice, she was impatient. So much for customer service. I was ready to buy soil but guess I'm going elsewhere.

Asked for 4 yards of river rock and I got barely 2 yards. Tried to argue and they wouldn't budge. Scammers stay away Also dealt with this company roughly 3 years ago and their driver put the swing door on the truck through my garage door. There's way better out there people. Dont waste your time here. Response: ya I actually have picture proof of your loads vs your competitors. You ripped me off by over a yard at least. I'll be posting a link to the comparison soon.

Was driving up Lagimodiere Blv. on Friday May 7 at 12.37 and as I was approaching the access road to T and T Soils I could see one of their dump trucks approaching the Lagimodiere Blv. He seemed to be moving fairly fast but I thought , surely he must going to slow down. No he did but instead accelerated in front of me and crossed 2 lanes to turn left. When he turned onto Lagimodiere Blv. he kicked up a large cloud of dust and my visibility was greatly reduced and had to brake hard account I was not sure where he was. The driver should be talked to as this is not good advertising for this company. I am looking at several landscaping projects this year and will certainly scratch T and T off my list of suppliers for soil and gravel. If I could give zero stars I would.

We sent a couple emails to the manager / owner and no reply. Pictures were sent to showing the septic field mound and the amount of space around the septic field that the driver could have driven around. The pictures show the 5 ton T&T truck with dual tire marks drove over our septic field, not once but twice (even though when this issue first happened on May 28th, T&T told me they have an internal policy not to drive on people's yards). The driver dropped off the soil in the requested area and then drove over the septic field a second time to exit the yard. Even though, the driver listened to the lady who was at our home, there is no excuse for him to drive over the field when he had a great option to simply drive around it. This would have accomplished both the drop off location area and the avoidance of our septic field. The driving space (radius) around the septic field is definitely not an issue. I understand the delivery drop off person is a retired septic driver but that doesn't make his actions, or decision right or acceptable and should be well aware of the potential complications and implications this has. The original date for the soil drop off was originally planned for the weekend of May 16th and was rescheduled to June 1st or later due to the RM of Springfield road weight restriction for heavy dual axle vehicles. T&T Soils did not notify us (the homeowners) of any date change for delivery and no acceptance was given to make sure the new date would work for us. The actual drop off date was Thursday, May 28th. From speaking to various septic field experts, we are not confident that out septic system will now operate properly due to the truck driving over the beginning of the field. To this day (almost a month later) no one from T&T Soils has apologized or contacted us. No one from T&T Soils took us up on the offer to come down and to view for them self. The 5 pictures (in total) that were sent to T&T Soils show proof and evidence of this error and they have no regard to make it right. It's disappointing that this happens and the paying customer always seems to be the one affected.

Needed half a yard 1/4 down. Paid and loaded in under 2 minutes on a Saturday midday. Was impressive to watch them radio the front end loader and have it in my truck in under 2 minutes. I'm used to waiting around everywhere else.

This is my go-to soil and yard product store. Fast service, and courteous staff who will tell you when you are attempting to do something stupid, like buying too much material and bottoming out your truck or trailer. If you are looking for top soil, rocks or quarterdown, check them out. They also deliver which is handy for bigger jobs.

I have never bought soil in bulk before so this was new to me. my girlfriend needed soil for the new planter we had built, she did the math and figured 1.5 yards would be required. she called head to T&T and was told no problem. I drove there in my truck, easy to find place situated between a graveyard and a power substation, walked up to the customer window and was initially told they did not sell half yards, that answer changed shortly after I told them my girlfriend had called ahead. so I paid for 1.5 yards and was told to pull my truck up to the conveyer next to the massive soil pile, a nice guy in a loader opened his door, I rolled down my window, and he asked me what I needed then dumped a full bucket of dirt in my truckbed and gave me an enthusiastic thumps up which I took to mean I had 1.5 yards loaded since that is what I asked for. I did the nod and wave then drove off, I was there for maybe 5 minutes. a very smooth and efficient operation. my girlfriend was kinda disappointed though when we filled up her planter and it was only 2/3 of the way full so we went back the next day for 2 more yards, and we got 2 buckets from the same loader. I'm not mad, the soil was dirt cheap and now we have plenty for other gardening projects of our own and our friends. if I need soil again, I will be buying from here (unless I need a half yard).

The place is not professional at all. Delivered the wrong product. Were not honest as the soil was only $30 and delivery charges were $90. Provided no breakdown of charges. I trusted and got ripped. Be careful.

Were quick to deliver and have no complaints on the product, but I was charged an extra $50 than what was agreed to on the phone and T&T Soils was only willing to give a partial reimbursement of the extra charge when I called to dispute it. Afterwards I noticed that what I had agreed to on the phone when I had originally placed the order didn't add up either... Receipt I got from the driver says I was charged $11.20 for GST and $1.12 for PST. Edit: In reply to owner, I understood what you were saying about an additional $20.00 loading fee, but that was not communicated when I had placed the order. If a mistake is made on the original call, I expect someone to call me to discuss the new charges rather than finding out about them the delivery slip. Just a FYI, if I'm only getting charged PST on the product the PST would work out to (22*4 + 15.93)*0.07 = $7.28. GST should be (22*4+15.93+50+20)*0.05 = $8.70. When adding the delivery fee and the loading charge (that was not originally communicated to me), you've still overcharged me by $16.34 after the $30 credit that was issued. Not going to lose sleep over this, but I'm disappointed in how this has been handled.

About a month ago, I arranged delivery of 3 yards of 3-way soil from a very nice woman in the office. The driver was polite, on time, very accommodating of my specific drop-off requests, and the amount I received was at least 3 yards (maybe even more). The customer service was top notch. Unfortunately, the product itself was not great. It’s by far the weediest soil I have received from any of the major companies in the Winnipeg area. I used it to top up my veggie garden beds and now I’m spending an hour a night pulling weeds. Maybe their other mixes are better.

And the three way mixed top dressing was the cleanest soil we have ever had delivered. No garbage, very minimal stick and rocks. DEFINITELY will be ordering from The&T again...OH...they were 80 dollars less expensive than a local company five kilometres away, and T&T is located over 15 kilometres away. ????

He backed up down a tight small backlane and dumped it as closely as he could for her, even had to shovel out the back a bit as there was a telephone line overhead. I believe his name was Henry.
