A fun little place to visit with the family. They change it every 4 years or so.
So many things to see. All the nursery rhythms and kids stories are here. Could probably spend a good couple of hours with the kiddos exploring all the little houses.
Was a little disappointed that their signs were placed wrong. We went for the sole intent of going on the nature walk. To see a sign saying it closed at 4. (online says an hour before close, it was 445, park closed at 7) turns out. Someone out the wrong one up, deterring everyone from going.
This place must be a dream for kids. As three grown women, we had a fun time too! The price is a little steep, but it was a nice hike. The one thing I didn’t like is they sold us bird seed and there was no birds to feed. Also, more signage would have been nice.
Not just fun for the kids. We all had a blast. They have done a great job cleaning it up and keeping it fun.
I would highly suggest stopping at The Enchanted Forest expessially if you have kids however even adults can enjoy the silly humor and hiking trails. Its beautiful and lots of art that will bring back memories of your favorite childhood movies. There is also a big adventure park/structure for kids to play in.
Excellent Place to take your little ones to. Staff were friendly and washrooms were very clean with lots of sanitizers around the forest mounted on trees. Thanks Team Enchanted ????
This place is amazing, what a great way to spend a good part of the day. Bring some water and snacks there's a little hike you can take .. Can't wait to go back next year...
Did this in pouring rain and I was still completely entertained. The figurines are incredibly cute, witty and well done. There's a ton of stuff to see and the place is huge! We didn't do the nature walk as we were pretty wet. There's also a …
Such an amazing place! A must stop if you have kids of any age or you're just kids at heart. You have to experience this place for yourself.
This is an amazing place to take the family. Make sure to do the nature hike section as it is a real enjoyable walk with a little boat dock with boats and life jackets for families to use. You can really tell all the heart and care that has went into this place
Great place for kids from 2 years and up lots to see, it is like all the fairy tales in live and up close. Definitely worth the extra time.
What a lovely attraction. Basically a walk through an amazing forest filled with fairytale characters, nature walks, a cool treehouse, rowboats and more. I took my 11 year old son and his friend, I was worried they would think it was too “kiddie” but they had lots of fun. It was lightly raining but the forest gave nice cover, we lucked out. Can’t say enough good things.
What a weird and wonderful place "The Enchanted Forest" turned out to be. We brought our kids here for fun, but I think I enjoyed it the more than anyone else. I can't say enough about the handcrafted figures, most of which look both lovingly made and painted by someone with, shall we say, more ambition than skill, and perhaps a touch of madness? I hope this doesn't come across as mean, as I wholeheartedly enjoyed all the art and it wouldn't at all be the same experience if the scultures had a Disney-perfect aesthetic. They are eerily wonderful, and peppered all over the place. The detail put into the small houses, many of which you could actually enter and had a basement or second floor... well, it's incredible someone would go to such lengths to create small spaces for people (mainly small kids) to explore. I would have loved to see a few darker, more menacing or scary pieces, but that was a caclulated decision to not scare any children. There's also a nice board/nature walk attached to the trail, which we walked along. There's also a boat tour of the wetland but it was closed when we went. To sum up, I loved the experience, and I think this place can appeal to all sorts of people - mainly young families and lovers of kitsch.
Still fun adventures for the entire family. Be sure to come at least an hour before closing though, that's a given but also a must to enjoy the entire adventure ????
We loved it, the kids had a great time. Our son is autistic and he just loved it! My daughter loved about knowing some of the stories! Definitely a must!! The gift shop was great and had many different things you could but. They sell water and chips as well just in case those little ones need water.
We went on the Sunday of the August long weekend for our daughter's birthday. The whole area was very busy so we planned to arrive a few minutes before opening to beat the crowds and any wait times. We were the second people in line at about 8:45 and there were only a couple groups waiting after us. The whole thing takes 45 minutes to an hour. When we exited at about 10 it was already pretty busy and there was a line up. We drove by again at 11 and it looked VERY busy with a long line. Arrive by 9 to have no issue getting in and plenty of space between groups. Lots of photo ops. Bring water because the gift shop is set up to be accessed at the end so we had to wait to purchase water or lose our place in line. Birthday kiddo gets in free!
We came to this place before. It’s a fun place. It’s worth to take a walk.
Great for the kids, and the park is big enough to have a long leisurely walk in the forest or see some salmon. The quality of the sculptures is just so varying though, and some are nightmare fuel.
Awesome location. Hated the art but that's just my personal preference really. Loved the buildings that they have created. Best part of the entire thing is the nature walk which goes by a 1000 year old cedar and goes back to the beaver dam where you can take the family out on row boats. Awesome stop regardless of your art preferences lol
Good place for small kids. My 5 year old daughter loved it. However, it was bearing fo my 8 year old son.
It's a nice walk and has some cute little houses and things but it could use a good update. It's expensive for a family so not really a place to go more than once.
Have you ever been to a better roadside attraction than this! What a delight! Great value. Lots of fun for the whole family.
Excellent place to visit if you have kids who are 6 and under. The setting is truly majestic with the forest and the statues that made the characters come to life.
I'm not a fairlytale person but this place and the effort that went into it is very evident. Beautiful craftsmanship. Its EXTREMELY COOL that the little houses have functioning doors and you can go inside. Very good for kids and if you have kids definitely take them!
My wife has been coming to this place since the early 1970's. It never loses its delightful, quaint charm... walking thru a large, beautiful rainforest catching glimpses of fairy tale characters in the trees to the rock climbing & adventure features for kids to the mermaid pond. Highly recommend for ALL ages! You will leave with a smile on your face and some happy memories to talk about.
Lots of walking and sight seeing. Pretty cool stuff. Some characters look a little scary lol. Good for kids. Kids can also go inside the little houses made for characters. Realizing how dark some children's poems were back in the day. Haha. Overall a good place. Has a gift shop which is super small but has really cute and not overly expensive trinkets.
One of the nicest places I visited in my life with family. Thx who ever made this to see.. Returning grown person in to kid at least for 1 hour. Castles, dragons, fairies, wizzards, all the fairies you was listening with wide open eyes... Definetly place to visit without any excuse....Thx for unique expirience...
A very cool place for children and adults! Pet friendly as well. Could spend hours here. Thanks for the memories!!!
We had such a blast walking through and seeing all the cool displays! We were too late to do the nature walk so we will definitely be back. Make sure you stop for a smokie on your way in or out! Best smokies I ever had!
A favorite place to be over all these years!
Was fun! Kids and adults enjoyed all the neat little houses and activities! We had recently read a review about it being difficult with a stroller but we didnt have any issues at all, was very stroller accessible. Had a great time and woulf recommend!
I went there as a child and never forgot it, so when I had the opportunity to take my own children this week I jumped at the chance and didn't regret it. this is one of those rare attractions that have gotten better with age. I will definitely be taking them again
Awesome for young families. Busy in the summer months, get there early. Make sure to pack a good lunch if you plan to stay across the lunch hour, not many options for food. Further west is crazy. Feel hot pools, great for a swim and relax after.
What a wonderful experience. This place is so cool! I would recommend either carrying or wearing any babies as it's a bit of up hill and pulling a stroller or wagon would suck. This place is awesome. Will come again
Driven past The Enchanted forest 100 times as a child. Stopped in with my children this week for a first visit and WOW. What a brilliant place filled with history and fairytails! 4 hours extremely well spent!
Easily accessible and enjoyable stop for our three small kids and ourselves. The forest is beautiful and there is so much charm and whimsy. There is something for everyone to enjoy. If we ever make it back out this way we will certainly stop again.
Sooo cool for the kids!!! You have to go once in your life forsure. Someone put alot of work and thought into this place. So cool!
Beautiful scenery and lots to do. Friendly helpful staff. Grounds taken care of exceptionally well. Remarkable detail in many of the mini houses and exhibits. Natural setting and trees utilized so well, often built in or around many of the climbing structures like the pirate ship, tree houses etc. Plan to give yourself at least 2 hours to explore and that is not even including the skytrek adventure which is an event itself. Small gift shop gets very crowded and hot.
A great stop for the young ones to explore all the little treehouses and houses. So many fairytales throughout the village. I would recommend for kids 8 and under would really enjoy it.
Really neat place, lots of hand sanitizer everywhere which was great cuz kids touched everything. My daughter got in free for her bday. Kids were 3,7,9,11. 11 yo borderline entertained.
This is a great place to go with children, tons of exciting and interactive elements, easy walking trails, lots of parking, washrooms available. They had a gift shop as well. It gets very very busy, I recommend going early when there are less lines. There's also a hike to the pond and through the trees. Away from the main displays, very quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful place. Really magical that turns even a grown up into a kid. I had lots of fun there. Amazing
The Enchanted Forest is charming. Opening to the world in 1960, this place is almost as old as Disneyland. Our kids ran around from one delightful display to the next, all under a magical canopy of cedars that are hundreds of years old. Some have complained about the drive, but honestly, the scenery of the trans Canada through this area is half the attraction. For us it was worth the 2.5 hour drive from West Kelowna. There are many great stops along the way that break up the trip: Ratio Coffee in Vernon, Farmer John’s Market in Grindrod and The Last Spike in Craigellachie were our stops. Perfect day trip.
The Enchanted Forest is a great place for the family, huge space, the forest itself is very beautiful. There is one BUT though. I would recommend owners to put some money and efforts in those figurines. They are ugly. The houses, treehouse and other places are very nice and fun, but not figures.
Super fun even as an adult ! Still love to get in the little houses and up the giant tree house. Great place to take the family and cheap too
Beautiful place for the kids and adults. They mostly have all the Disney characters. I gave 4 stars because in my opinion, I think it was bit pricey for the zipliner and other climbing stuff.
I love love love the nature walk with signs that explain the plants. The path leads to a wonderful Marsh area with a boardwalk. Dragonfly dance and fly through the sunlight. The path continues to a pond with self serve paddle boats. Continuing on youre back in the magical old growth forest and onto fairy land.
Really great visit for young children. The people that built these displays really worked hard and did a great job. So much effort was out into this to gain priceless smiles from these children. Bravo!!
So much to see and do, we did the main hike as well which was fun. Not expensive and though smokey, it was still a ton of fun. Always wanted to go as a kid. Was glad to go for the first time with my own. Magical. Wish it was a little more interactive.
Great place to stop. The nature walk is worth it, if you want to see some nature. There is a couple steep hills along the path that you may need to help the little ones with. The path is in good shape and can accommodate a stroller.
Such a fun time for all ages. So much detail and curious things to see.
Always love going. We haven't been in a few years and this time we had the pleasure of sharing it with out 3 year old she loved it. Great fun!
Brought back many memories of childhood. Very clean. Great outdoor adventure. Cannot wait to bring my daughter.
Love it here, I think these little guys should be scattered all over if the park. Can't wait to visit again!
This place is even more magical then it was when I was a child. A beautiful place to take your family, it's fun and imaginative and a great outdoor activity. Rain or shine (they will provide you with an umbrella) it Is a must stop. The gift shop has wonderful merchandise and their Enchanted Forrest hoodies are very well made and incredibly soft. Absolutely loved it.
It is the second time we come to this Enchanted place and we always have a blast! It is so well maintained and you can see the attention to detail. What a nice place to visit!
An excellent stop on the way to Vancouver, BC. A lot of history, spanned over the last almost 70 years. Is it a great pleasure to see how people in mid-1900's have seen the outdoor entertainment niche. It is great to see models in concrete made with bare hands, for the purpose of bringing people to continue dreaming about fairies and story-tells. It was a great opportunity for my family and myself to stop and walk the stories. I will come back. For sure. Thank you.
Great place to visit with kids. Beautifully done and maintained. Little piece of paradise!
When we went, it wasn’t very busy so it was calming to walk through. I’m amazed that you can go into the tiny houses and walk through, some have stairs. It’s very creative, they made a horse ride out of trees. My kids enjoyed themselves as well as my husband and I.
Amazing place definitely worth checking out for all ages!!
Wonderful place to walk about and be reminded of all the Western childhood fairy tales. Everything was made by hand by the founder!
Really beautiful place! Creatures are not the cutest but funny and imaginative! Loved the experience! The gift shop amazing and really well cared!
As a kid i always drove past and never stopped in. This time I'm the dad and pulled the car over to bring the family. My girls loved it. They ran through it but still their favourite part of our road trip
Went here with a 3 year old and she absolutely loved it. Even with covid temporarily closing the duck/fish pond and boat house, she still enjoyed climbing in all of the houses and talking to the sculptures. The sculptures were a little funny looking probably due to repainting, but it didn't take away from the magical experience.
Very trippy. My kids loved it.
This was such a fun, magical place. We stopped here for a break after driving back to BC from Calgary. Very well maintained, cute displays and lots of houses for the kids to go in and explore. It was also fun to be able to feed the ducks and fish at the end, and have places to sit. The washrooms were clean as well. Overall super fun for my 5 year old child and my inner child to play!
If you've got kids under 10, and you've driven past on your trips before, make a stop. It's an expensive half hour for what it is, but it's unique and authentic; a beautiful and peaceful spot in the forest even though it's just off the highway. Some really well done details combined with a few that are not, but the overall experience is folksy and fun.
Definitely a must-do with young children! So much fun! Love the detail in everything. Definitely a place we will be coming back to!
It was a magical experience. The locals could use some lessons on social distancing measures but the staff and venue was magical and will go again.
A magical fairytale gem for kids! Must see for kids 7 & under. We loved it as kids, now our kids love it. The handmade statues are incredible for being crafted in the 1950's.
Amazing. Excellent with children. Excellent if you're an adult who loves either nature walks, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, or all the above. FYI - some steep hills, so if you've a stroller it is good to have someone to swap out the pushing with!
Nice place if you have time and are with kids. If you are in a rush, I would skip it. The owners try to bring something else. Next doors you have a new tree top adventure Park. Saw some people in there and looked like fun. We skipped it. Maybe next time :)
Very fun time, we'll put together. All around amazing job to see how much this place has grown since I was a kid
Great place to visit with young kids! Don't skip the nature walk. The forest and boardwalk are beautiful. I was disappointed though to discover that the rowboats weren't in service, despite being currently advertised on the website.
Very inexpensive. Great way to see nature and creativity with old stories brought to life. Dogs welcome on leash.
Great stop for our road trip and was more than we expected. We ended up spending few hours there as our kids explored the little houses, played, were amazed by the statues and checked out the nature trail and boats.
Great place to spend the afternoon with the family out in nature. The cement figurines are all over the forest and are very well done and your little ones will really enjoy them. You can take a long hike through the trail that goes all around the park.
I have driven past this place for 45 years. Finally, we stopped and took our daughter to see the Enchanted Forest. Our daughter loved it. All the fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The pathways are nice and wide. Being only 3 years old she was small enough to interact with the multiple character houses. We did the loop twice. We will return next year and hopefully bring a few friends us to enough the day.
Such an amazing wonderful hidden gem!! A co-worker, friend and myself decided to go here on out day off and we're soo glad we did!! Everything is hand made and the attention and amount of detail to every single piece is amazing!! We had soo much fun. Definitely something for every age and activity level.
Love this place! Great stop. Easy walk. Lots to discover. Any age. Leashed Dogs allowed! Get out and wander the paths. Seriously, don't drive past this.
I visited the enchanted Forest for the first time in 1965. I still enjoy a break from driving to stroll thru the Forest. Crazy tree houses and now you can stroll through the forest canopy. Awesome !!! Some of the crazy amazing forest
AMAZING! I was totally blown away by this place. Do not miss this place if you have kids!! The kids did not want to leave, and I loved the way it ignited their imagination, play, and connection to nursery rhymes and fairy tales they know. We will be back when we have a chance!
It's easy to give this place a five-star review. There's nothing else like it out there. You can tell people have put their heart and soul into this for the last sixty years. If you've seen it on the highway and haven't managed to stop, you need to rearrange your schedule.
Such a fun place for all ages to visit highly recommend it if passing by or as a destination spot
Awesome stop for the kids .... And the parents too!!! Our 5 year old LOVED reading the nursery rhymes that are everywhere on the trails and the 3 year old ran around and explored every nook and cranny. We took our 2 Cairn Terriers with us and they were very well received. We have driven by this place probably 40 times and it was finally time to visit. It is perfect for 2 to 8 year olds ... But right next door is an age-appropriate activity for the older kids. The prices are VERY VERY reasonable and we will be back a number of times in the coming years.
Family/Pet friendly. Clean. Spacious. Fun. We always stop and its always been great. Fair prices. Cute gift shop too.
Great place for kids who watch comics and know a little bit of fairy tales. It is also a fantastic place for adults who want to learn about history and like walking in nature...
This place is great if you have little ones or even just to stop and walk through a place that brings you back to your childhood. Brought my partner from the UK here and she loved it. Highly recommend this worth the stop
Had a blast going through with our 4 and 2 year old. I used to pass this place all the time and never stopped in. Was definately glad we did. Prices are fair and the grounds are pretty large but easy to walk and navigate. Lots to see and very nice area. Can't pass and not stop since it's right off the highway and won't kill all your day.
Good for kids 3 and up. Lots to see and experience. Easily spend 3 hours here. Carry water and snacks and take your time. Plenty of shade and facilities.
Amazing place, so beautiful, it really looks like in fairy tale.
Unreal so worth the trip!!
It's a pretty baller place. Aimed for kids under 10 but none less enjoyable & informative for all ages. They got a good little merchandise store at the front/exit with some wicked lemonade. The tiny houses are the best part. Would bring my future children here.
Mind blowing experience! I highly recommend parents to stop here if you're travelling through the area. Sicamous Best Western is a great hotel to stop and recharge before hitting this wonderful world famous BC attraction! There's the "Skytrek" Adventure Park, with zip-lines and wall climbing for older kids who need bigger physical challenges!
Totally for kids their sculptures might not be perfectly mold but the kids loved them. It's a fairy tale forest. Bring your own water.
A great place to visit with young children. It is a walking path through the forest with many concrete sculptures and little houses for children to explore!
Cute place to take the kids, or as a nostalgia trip for those who have already been. It's a good excuse to get your kids on a nature walk. They have free boat rides, but the life jackets are disgusting. Overall a very fun atmosphere, if starting to get a little dated.
Another must stop for all ages!!!!! And for older kids check out the new skywalk in the trees!!!
My kid very love this place and we spend almost 2 hours in this place
We planed to visit again with kids ( the 2nd time), unfortunately, it was a rainy day. Instead of staying in the forest, we decided just buying some gifts for the kids and their friends, and sent kids to the washroom at the same time. …
Loves as a kid and still love it now best place
This is a great place to take your kids. Not expensive, your kids will be familiar with all (or most of) the fairytales displayed. The self guided walk is nice, you get to row boats which our kids found super fun. Highly recommend stopping here
I came back here long after first coming as a kid, and it didn't disappoint! Very enchanting indeed! Though the statues are old, they seem well kept and in good shape. They might have added new ones as well. Great for young ones or young at heart! Sweet little nature walk too, with little paddle boats as well. I'd love to try the boats next time, but they're unguarded so be careful! Will definitely stop by again.
Se days are busier than others, but if you don't mind rude people not making their children wait their turns, then all is well! There are paddle boats and a nature trail as well which are worth the look - bring water and not flip flops as it is a bit steep on that end.
Always wanted to go here since I was a kid. Decided to take my boy to see it this year. Super cute and tons of stuff to look at. Loved the tall treehouse and that the kids can go right into the little structures. It was a hot day when we went too....so it was nice to have the shade of the trees.
It really is an enchanted forest! Wonderful place to spend a couple of hours with the kids. A really magical place with beautiful design, the pictures are not doing justice with thw place which is really beautiful and magical. I highly recommend it, it's a wonderful place to visit, especially if you're driving from Revelstoke to Kelowna. The only downside is that there's no food to buy there ao we had to leave when the kids got hungry.
Great place, grounds well taken care of and many fairy tales well displayed. Love the natural BC landscape and nature trails
Kids had fun. Its an easy walk for even little kids.
I have driven past the enchanted forest many many times throughout my life and never stopped. I'm so glad we decided to take our kids here. It was really awesome.
Have visited this magical place with my grandchildren for years!! It just gets better every year. Was there in July with my granddaughter and had a fast and furious rip around the forest as they were closing but couldn't pass it by. ❤️
My kids loved here, enjoyable and you can feed the ducks and fishes. great location during my road trip into alberta.
Haven't been there since I was about 7 years old. Loved it. Kids loved it, just wish I brought them here when they were younger!
My family and I have been here many times. It's a magical place for all ages. If you take the time to take the nature walk you end up at a beautiful pond where you can take your family on a boat ride. There are lily pads everywhere and you can spot fish under the water. As for the rest of the place it is a wonderland. My kids loved going in all the fairytale homes, especially the treehouse. We already can't wait to go again.
This is such a wonderful place! Perfect for the whole family, has every nursery rhyme and characters from all the Disney shows and wizard of Oz , Winnie the Pooh, snow white and much much more! Would definitely recommend. Drove in from Edmonton , definitely worth the 7 hour drive ????????????
From the look of the workers it was hot out but we were directed to a shadednclean parking spot. We have been before but never used the boats before yesterday. Its about 5km roundtrip if you take the long way with nature walk. What an experience and we took the road through the subtropical jungle of our mountainous BC region. Great job guys we will be back but for SKYTECH ziplining and climbing as kids getting old. Thanks again to the owners.
Was looking for somewhere to take our daughter for our trip and discovered this fantastic place. 10/10 will absolutely be returning again. She loved it!
Coolest place ! My daughter was in awe and she had an amazing time . Well worth stopping to check it out if your on your way through revel stoke travelling or planning a fun trip with your family especially with young kids .
It is such a good place to stop for a lunch while travelling from Alberta to BC or back. Bring your snacks and lunch to the forest as there are plenty benches to sit there. We took an hour to go all around the park and eat our lunch.
Absolutely magical! The last time I was here was 20 years ago and it was so wonderful coming back to see it still as fantastic as ever! Highly recommend it for families, dogs are allowed ON LEASH, and it's a great break for the family after a long drive. I highly recommend checking it out ????????
Stopped here while on a road trip. My wife and kids were excited, I was not expecting much but to my surprise it was pretty cool. Very clean and put together nicely. A lot of work has been put into this place and it looks good. Kids loved running in and out of all the little cabins and seeing all the little items through out the park. Pretty good price, staff are nice, tickets are good for all day come in and out as you like. We went in July on a Tuesday around 9:30 was not busy. All in all worth it to see it at least once.
Great place to bring the kids. They can run and explore. Nothing scary (except the dungeon in the castle but even then not really). Kids (and small adults) can go into most of the houses/displays lol. Took us over an hour. It was very cute and the woman at the ticket stall was very nice. Lots of parking including RV/trailer parking. Oh, where was the 7th dwarf? We could only find 6 (the ones in the line, on the furnace thing and blowing the horn by the tree)!
This is a great place for kids. I would not recommend the self guided boat tour though, we did the boat tour and it wasn't the greatest as there isn't much to see and its extremely muddy to try to get to it. The rest of the place is great though and a real hit for the kids. You can go into a lot of the little houses, they are made with lots of detail and just very cool little places.
The creativity and craftsmanship is amazing. I really like how most of the displays allow children to explore them. The owners fid a fabulous job at creating displays for most basic fairytale and nursery rhymes
I am a 29 year old female and this place was honestly one of the fun places to visit from the hike to seeing all the fairy tales!!
Had lots of fun at the ropes course in the trees! The course is rated with colors from easy to extra hard. Green blue black and double black diamond. Most of the course was fairly easy, and can be completed by most people. The black was a bit challenging and the double black diamond was super tough! It's definitely do able but the last section took everything I had in me to finish! Highly recommended for all age groups!
A must see for all ages. HIGHLY recommend if you're anywhere close. Add to your itinerary if passing through. Took us 3 hours with 2 grandchildren. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!
Great place to go for a walk with kids. The trails are easy and the Nature walk is a delight in nature, with river, ponds, and water lilies. Very educational for little people too
This was our 2nd trip. Toddlers loved it and the older kids were not as enthusiastic. In the 1st trip we had also done the forest loop which was amazing and a must do! Over-all a nice place to hang out for families with little kids.
It’s such a lovely place made by a woman with such an excellent talent for all things enchanted! Made with love and care. It’s like walking into a storybook ♥️
Very nice for kids and those who love nursery rhymes. I wish the fee included the little amusement section too.
Great for young kids. I feel dangerous when turning left to the place if you are driving from the east on highway #1. Only one lane (speed limit 100km) without left turn lane or reduced speed limit.
We love the Enchanted Forest! It's an easy walk in some of the most exquisite scenery. It's just a really enchanting place to be and the price is great.
This is a fairytale wonderland. A great place for young and old to visit. A must see when in the area.
We really enjoyed our time here. The kids and adults had an absolute blast!
This is a great after noon activity for the kids, and enjoyable for the adult. can be done in 2-4 hours depends on how much you want to look,
A magical forest for little ones, walk around and find the stories of all the fairy tales. My boys like to climb the stairs to top of the treehouse n feed the ducks in the pond. Some figures look a little scary...
Spent 20 years of my life being told “no next time.” Finally stopped in on a summer road trip with my best friend who went through the same thing and it was great, quick to go through, spent a good hour to hour and a half here. It’s a good nostalgia trip if you’re someone who’s into that, not expensive and the gift shop has so many cute little keepsakes. The staff were really chill and nice, it wasn’t extremely busy so it was nice to just walk and chill.
Awesome stop for a few hours. How well do you know your nursery rhymes? Amazing backdrop for it. Enchanted forest it is. Your kids or the kid in you will love you for it.
Best place for your small children. My 14 months old loved it so much! Lots of small tree houses and figurines - you could easily spend 1-3 hours here. Bring your open food and have a small picnic inside. Lots of sitting areas. We will be back when my little one is older.
This place never disappoints! If you are travelling with children they can get out....be entertained , run around, make noise and see cool things and theres no time limit!
Even tho everything here is completely off road, I was able to enjoy it being in a wheelchair. Great way to kill a few hours with the kids! I've always lived visiting this place as a kid, now I get to enjoy it with my kids
Beautiful forest area. Love all the little nursery rhymes and children's stories portrayed throughout the walk. Great hands on experience for their visitors! Super busy, so I recommend going early in the morning.
Our 4 y/o had so much fun. He could venture into the many small houses and would sit in the small chairs and beds to play make believe. The washroom facilities were very clean. I highly recommend for families with small children. There is an obstacle/adventure course for kids which I believe you do have to pay extra. We will definitely be back when our child is older try it out.
Loved it a few years ago was going to visit enchanted Forest again but it was pouring, so decided to only buy some gifts from gift shop. As was paying staff refused kids using washroom unless you buy the tickets for enchanted forest in a stormy day.
Just as enjoyable for adults ,brings back nursery rhymes from your own childhood memories, I would not recommend bringing a stroller, baby carrier is better. You can go round the forest as many times as you want. Picnic area inside as well, so you can bring a packed lunch
Great for kids! It was cool not lots to see but a good job. Quick break on our travels home not something I'd go to everytime we travel to BC though. Gift shop was also reasonably price! Also dog friendly so that was great!
It's better for kids. Really just a short hike with painted clay figures around. The best attraction is the tall tree house. The boats at the pond looked nice. We went later in the day and the boats were locked away so we couldn't take one out. Everyone was really nice. I wouldn't pay 14 for this again.
The best place I have ever been too. Everything is amazing and so magical. A little more on the kinda expensive side but mostly cheap and a great deal. If you decided to bring your rv there a place for you to park which is great.
The perfect place yo take a break from the heat and a long drive. I been here twice and my daughters always have a great time. They are so proud of them self when they finish it. Is a little pricey but the place is nice.
Great stop if you are traveling to the coast. So much todo and lots to explore. If your kids like nature tons of slugs ro look at and take pictures of! Gift shop isnt overpriced either!!
Very fun, great place to visit with the kids I've been going since I was little always friendly staff , good parking lots to do for the day. Picnic tables available in parking lot and one on hiking trail, washrooms available and a awesome gift shop full of enchanting items!!!
Used to take my kids here 30+ years ago, now I'm taking my grandkids. Not much has changed in the forest. I see they have added some new things since. $$$ Cute place to stop and get a little fresh air walking in nature. Staff were super friendly. There FB page says they offer stroller rentals which they don't at this time due to Covid I guess so that was disappointing as we had to carry a 1 year old through it.
What an amazing stop. I have driven past here a hundred times and finally stopped with the kids. It's great! And very well done. Great place to stretch your legs on the highway. Easy to get in and out of with an RV and so much fun.
I remember the fun of going to the Enchanted Forest when I was a child and so have carried on the tradition with my children. We have been going annually and the kids always look forward to it. Love the nature walk and row boats. The 3 Little Pigs houses and the tall treehouse are some of many highlights that my kids enjoy. And feeding the fish and ducks is a fun ending to our visit.
An art exhibit outside. The children loved it! You can even enter the little houses. The dungeon in the castle is a bit scary for younger children. There is also a nice hike and paddle boats included❤
Great for the kids but be prepared to walk. Nice getaway into the woods and the salmon run if you time it right is an interesting diversion.
I came here almost thirty one years ago when I was a boy and I remembered so many things and there was so many new and amazing things to do and see I was always waiting for the day I could get back here and so happy I have ! Very well designed and very well maintained “Enchanted Forest “ ! I wish to bring my grand children back here some time soon ! &a piece of advice is to be wearing proper hiking shoes especially if you are going to be taking the trail nature walks !
Amazing. Such an incredible experience. Makes you relive your childhood. Would definitely recommend. Also possibly better in fall or an overcasted day? Was fairly hot. The gift shop is adorable and going through everything takes about 1-1.5 hours. Will definitely come back.
This place is super weird... theres so many sculptures (which is awesome) and they all look super bizarre and strange. "Creepy" does the art a disservice considering how hypnotizing and captivating it is. Kids around me seem to love it. I guess I was loving it too? I left in shock and awe with so many questions and I had super long drive home so for like 9 hours I was just.... thinking about it. There is truly nothing on earth like this experience so its an absolute must see if you want to witness what imagination can truly offer.
A great place for kids to run around and fuel there imagination . Full of whimsical characters that have been especially designed for the enchanted Forrest . we took a picnic and had a great time . In not sure if my husband had more fun or my daughter .
must be one of the best parks for family activity. Both my daughter and son like it very much. We spend almost 4 hours there, much longer than our plan. do not miss the boat in the lake, is FREE
Walking in lush forest green and towering trees breathing fresh mountain air you feel so Enchanted! Story Book story & Fantasyland for family and all ages!
We stopped there for couple hours in our way to Kelowna. It's very good for kids and to take break from driving for some refreshing snacks.
It was a pleasant walk in the forest along with different fairy tale characters. It was obvious that someone put a lot of love and effort into building this magical place. Highly recommend as experience. Also, people were quite respectful social distance wise, there were remainders and hand sanitizer dispenser everywhere.
Love this place . Took me back to my childhood . Beautifully created to depict kids stories and poems. Kids can have a jolly good time exploring te forest , the tree houses etc. Can complete within 1.5 hrs
If you want to walk through a fairytale and every nursery rhyme you ever heard, this is your place!! Bring bug spray and change to buy food to feed the fish and geese at the very end of your tour... then all you need is to let your imagination run wild and be a kid again in a giant old growth forest. Don’t forget the change, your kids will never forgive you!!
Pretty cool spot for little kids. It was a bit pricey for just a walk through, but we still had fun, and were glad we stopped.
A cute stop for little kids. My kids preferred the skytrek over the forest. I must bring up how dangerous it is to turn left into the entrance when driving back to Vancouver. We had to stop to turn left as there were on coming traffic. It is very dangerous to stop on a highway. A big truck almost hit us from behind. Luckily the truck used the shoulder as he couldn't stop in time. That definitely ruined our experience and hope you can come up with better entrance way.
A strange walking adventure through a variety of old nursery rhyme sculptures that will either intrigue you, or provide new nightmares. Don't forget to stop to poo, at the pooh house! It also has an extremely tall tree house which was amazing. Buckle up your family, and prepare for a visual extravaganza! A must visit at least once!!!
