Don't waste your time. Hugh had done some work for me before which I had no problem with but when I tried to call him to get some more work done it turned into weeks of me chasing him down just to get a quote on paper. After 2 unanswered messages left for him he finally picked up on week 3 and apologized for not getting back promising to be there the next morning to get the quote done and have the work done within a couple days. Next morning rolls around and guess what? Nothing. Not even a phone call. This guy clearly can't be bothered to get organized or write anything down. I wasted my time. Don't waste yours.

I had Hugh build a large tiered garden it took a bit to get him out but he did show up. Gave me a price and agreed . He and his team came built it we paid and still have not seen a receipt or the warranty he said he would provide . Called him last year about it starting to bow out he came out and said he would look after it and the receipt and warranty . Still have not seen or heard from him!!!!!!

Can I give zero stars? I had an appointment to meet with Hugh at 6pm Thursday for a quote on a job in Sylvan Lake. I waited until 6:40 before I finally called to see where he was and he said he "forgot". So we scheduled again for the very next day, same time. This time I only waited until 6:10 before calling to see if he was on his way, and he said he forgot again. Are you kidding me?! I told him it was okay, not to bother, I'd find someone else. Obviously he doesn't want the work very badly. Proven to be completely unreliable - not someone you'd want doing a landscaping job for you.

We have been fighting with Hugh for the last 3 years. He installed porous pave in our patio area It keeps falling apart they aren’t mixing the adhesive correctly with it. Also they have left glue all over house wall. Hugh has been out 3 times now and have re-done it. Still the same issue every time. Hugh has now since last year stopped returning our calls. We have contacted the head office of porous pave and they do not have any record of green side up landscaping being one of there dealers. So he is doing it but has not had the training and the approval of porous pave to be selling and installing it as a dealer! Stay away at all cost!!
