Purchased 2 yards of grow max for my raised garden beds. Nothing would grow after planting my vegetables. Always had compliments from my gardens and this year am embarrassed to show my small yellow plants that seem to be dying. Been gardening for over 30 years and have never seen such a pathetic garden. Something definitely wrong with this batch of soil. Very disappointed to say the least. Not sure how Im going to dispose of this bad soil for next year.

I had to pick up 20 yards of mulch for a business and the service here was excellent from initial phone call to pick up. Pick up is super easy, quick and efficient and again, every staff member seemed to go out of their way to say hello and make polite conversation. Prices are on point and the company is very happy with the quality of the material. Great experience and will return for any future need!

i ordered Grow max and wood chips price was good the service was good so I ordered again. The second time they accidentally dumped in the neighbors stone driveway. They immediately got me new product and dumped brand new stone in the neighbors drive way the next day. The service is amazing.

Trails End is great. A month ago, I ordered 5 yards of Gro-Max. The delivery was super early the next day, and the soil was excellent. Exactly what my wife wanted for her new gardens. I just made another order now for some new gardens that we did on the weekend. Called them up, and they are doing to delivery right now. Great service. I will be building more gardens in the spring, and we WILL be calling on Trails end again.

How does your garden grow? Mine was amazing last year ( our first year growing an organic raised bed garden) using soil and expertise garnered from Patty and Richard at Trails End. Our tomatoes grew beautifully and I was able to speak personally with Richard ( a recent graduate of Niagara College Horticulture programme) about my soil options. Everything purchased was Trails End was delivered on time, in a professional manner and supported with knowledge and many years of experience in their field. We had such a fantastic harvest last year that we decided to build and fill another raised bed with soil and compost from Trails End and our son followed our footsteps. Two years in a row I ordered your Grow Max, as that is what your customer representative said is recommended when growing vegetables - she knew it was for brand new raised beds, so not a top up. I should have known better, because some gardeners I know said to not buy soil from you. I couldn't believe you would actually sell 'soil' that has no nutrients whatsoever. So the first year I thought, it happens, but after the second year I know to never buy soil from you again. Whatever you sell looks good when it's first delivered, but that means nothing, and it really quickly loses volume too. Don't bother with offering me a solution - you can't. Yes, I am angry: with you and with myself, for not believing what I heard.

Worst soil ever!!!!! I ordered a yard of triple mix to be used in containers and pots. What I got was a clay filled mess that turned into mud as hard as concrete as soon as it was watered.

Ordered 2 yards of growmax soil in the spring., it is supposed to be a complete soil nutritionally. Nothing is growing in this soil and it is now August. Our vegetables are fairy sized, and we are experienced gardeners. We bought this to add to our existing soil in 3 beds, the 4th has our original soil which is the only bed growing anything. Terribly disappointed in this product, waste of our money.

Same thing happened to us. Brand new vegetable garden. They recommended grow max. Stuff either grew a tiny bit or not at all! Wasted hundreds of dollars of seed water plants for no harvest. Shame on calling that Grow max. No nutrients and too fine. It's not to be used on it's own at all and they knew it was new garden. And they would do nothing. Not even give us something to amend soil. Had to go to moris next year and get tons of quality mushroom organic compost and soil to fix it. Now we're having success. We get other product from them with no problem and cheerful. But customer service not good when they are recommending wrong products or something goes wrong. That's when you need the customer service!
