Probably a good store. My experience at the paint desk was not great. The young girl on the desk didn't have the ability to shake a can of paint and answer a simple question about a roller application at the same time without calling for back up. I thought it was a rather indifferent and unprofessional way to approach a customer's need. Pull up your socks!

This is my go to place for all my hardware needs. I will pretty well only deal with Justin Fisher and one other member of the staff in the plumbing department. That being said, I don't have any problems dealing with the other staff members. They are super helpful and friendly. My hats off to Justin today he helped me with everything I needed today.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Prices are on par with others in the area. Stock can be a bit limited due to the size of the location as compared with the competition, but you always seem to find what you need. Its also a great place to finds the odd items that you are looking for, in my instance a match stock holder for my stove.

Extremely poor customer service. Shown only granite and quartz countertops. No mention of laminate until we requested it. Kitchen cabinets ordered on November 22, 2017. Absolutely no contact until I phoned on February 9, 2018. Received email that it would be looked into. Still no reply. Went to store on February 21, spoke to manager/owner who assured me this would be looked into. Still no response. Went back to store again on February 22 and asked for my money refunded. On picking up my check was informed these cabinets could be in on Friday, February 23. Unsure how they could not arrive after thirteen weeks but could come overnight.

Just moved to Trenton. Didn't look for anything specific, but since we were looking for a new fridge we asked where they were. Nice girl said she had one. We asked to see it, it was still in the box. With the help of another employee they opened the box, we liked it, and bought it. Delivery fee was $35 and they delivered just after lunch. And then they took the old fridge and put it outside. How great is that. A very positive experience, wife very happy. .

Selections really gone down hill. Went to find a steel shed. None in store and none in the warehouse. Was looking at a long wait to even get the kit. Kent seems to be the place to go these days

We have bought a lot of construction materials from Proudfoots in the year we have owned our home. The staff are great in store however when it comes to picking up you order from the yard and warehouse you can wait a very long time and I have had to go and find the outdoor help even though they have been paged to let them know you are coming. Have had to wait 15 minutes or more several times. Today waited 15 minutes and no one showed up so found what we ordered and loaded ourselves and left through yard only to see three workers sitting outside doing nothing. I wonder how many times people load themselves and help them self to extra material not paid for. I will still shop in store products but will likely go to Kent for my construction needs.

I just bought a new home and renovating. Requiring a lot of paint. I came here to get a color match and was refused service. I was told to go to a competitors store since the can I brought originally came from there. This is not why I came to your store (I live 45 mins away). However, I continue to receive excellent service from your competitor. Thanks for the advice!
