Im a person that kills cactus's. Lol.. i wanted to have a small garden ... and to my surprise i did it. Started off with seeds and ended up with huge beautiful plants. Tomatoes and a variety of veggies.. i wont do tomatoes again huge caterpillars/ worms. Ill stick to buying them from the store lol. The ppl at the store made my dream come true!

The staff try to be helpful, just don't trust every thing as gospel and you will get superficial knowledge. They are happy to sell you product, but if its out of stock you will wait weeks to get what you wanted, even simple things. They are the best in Peterborough, they are the only in Peterborough

Great local business for all of your growing needs. I go here often for lights, soil amenities, plant food, pots and more. A great selection of hydroponic equipment from starters to more advanced kits. Will and staff are very knowledgeable and any time I have questions they go above and beyond to help me out. I recommend them and am very happy they are are here in Peterborough!

Manager was not helpful. My fiancé and I are getting into bonsai trees and growing our own fruit trees. The guy we spoke with could not provide any helpful advise unless it was for marijuanna, which we did not want. We went in looking for fertilizers but he had no clue what we needed, even though we came in with specific measurements. He was rude when asked questions about insecticidal soap for fruit trees.

I bought a bale of soil that was infected with fungus. I asked for a refund but was told that it was probably just algae. I have been working with plants a very long time and run a plant business and I told him this. I know the difference between algae and fungus. All I really heard was excuses to not have to return a product. He went as far as calling his supplier and asking them for a refund so that he wouldn't have to. That is very poor customer service if you ask me. If I sell somebody a bad plant I don't ask my supplier to return it. I return it myself as a sign of good customer service. And to be treated like I do not know anything about soil was the kicker. I have been going there for all of my house plant needs and personal cannabis needs for over two years now. I spend a lot of money at this place so it really bothers me to just be denied a return. This is one of the reasons small businesses cannot compete with places like Walmart and Amazon. Either they do not understand the concepts of customer service or they are just plain cheap and refuse to exercise them. By not taking a $40 hit on soil he could potentially lose a lifetime customer that spends thousands. I hope that he reads this and let's that sink in.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful if you know what to ask and have enough information about any problems you need help with. They are also a great source for seeds. The ones I picked up in late winter were the highest quality seeds I have seen in my life. Cookies Kush by Barney`s Farm. Kudos to P.H.C.. Also check out their informative videos on their website. The guy in the videos is probably the most knowledgeable. The cloning technique used is a good one with the final cut being done underwater to prevent embolisms. Happy harvests to all who may take their advice.

Had bad experience with one guy that worked here. Gave me some really bad growing advice and didn't seem to have a very good understanding of cannabis cultivation. His attitude came off as very arrogant. My brother and I have worked for 3 of the top breeders in Europe and he was talking to us like we started growing yesterday.
