Long story Short, At no fault of another business that went out of business I was forced to negotiate for similar but not matching product from the now liquidator or my only other option was to go after the now bankrupt business. Kawartha capitol LITERALY came and swapped out the product I had to settle for for the matching product that they had in stock. they did not have to help me at all, but they went above and beyond. If they have it in stock.... I wont be shopping around. Major Thanks, my yard looks great now.

Over the past two years, I have almost been in several accidents directly related to this company’s drivers. I used to live in the 407 construction zone and I was calling the 407 almost weekly for their drivers speeding outrageously, stopping at the tops of hills to talk to each other and whenever I would react to this, their employees would give me the finger and call me profanities. There was one day I was 25 minutes late for work solely because they were blocking the road to talk. Now that I live in Kawartha Lakes, I find they’re just as terrible on highway 36, slamming on their brakes down to 30 km lower than the speed limit on bends them going 100 km+ whenever someone tries to pass them. Someone needs to provide the drivers of this company with training on the rules of the road and teach their employees some manners.

Not surprised other reviews speak of the drivers!! Today on the 427 the driver of a green truck switched lanes without looking and missed a black car by inches. Almost causing a multiple car accident. I pulled out my phone and started to record. Sure enough 1 minute later, the driver did it again! I have it on film. Truck number 583 with an obstructed license plate. Summary: wed july 15th on the 427 north bound at 5pm.

On the plus side -Good overall service -Good premium black mulch -Reasonable prices But can’t recommend the screened topsoil. The batch of Dirt (not top soil) I received unfortunately was not screened and contained numerous clay chunks and stones

I’ve bought double mix topsoil from here and all it grew were weeds or nothing at all. My lawn is A mess now. I have to round up where I have but this soil and buy somewhere else. Waste of money and time.
