I love visiting this place. However it’s not as big as you would expect. However they do have a lot of property out back and it’s beautifully groomed. They use it a lot of the time for wedding photos etc. However there isn’t anything you can purchase for yourself in the back area. All of the available product is in the front and within two buildings. Go and check this place out - grab a tea or a cold drink and take a leisurely walk throughout both buildings. Pricing is pretty high FYI.

I love discovering garden centres. This is one my oldest daughter found and I went with her one morning. The selection of planters, baskets and annuals was good, even for early August. I did get a houseplant, and a hosta. What I didn't really notice till I got home and added the Hosta to my other new ones, us the generous sizing of the plants Both the houseplant, and the Hosta are a very good size I will remember this place ????

Beautiful gardens behind what looks like a very ordinary greenhouse frontage. Ecclectic sculptures, sitting areas by the ponds behind, beautiful nooks and crannies. Lots of staff on hand to answer questions. Only surprised to not see any shrubs/bushes (juniper, evergreen) nor any type of trees offered for sale. Otherwise, a great place.

One of my favourite garden centres in the Kawarthas. Staff are very friendly, plants are well taken care of, and they have a lovely selection of indoor plants for the area. One of the best greenhouses that I've visited. All the plants that I saw looked healthy and happy. Dragonflies, turtles sunbathing on a log and frogs all surrounded by comfortable shady benches.

Incredible service and products. Last year during lockdown, I ordered their flowers through the website and loved the quality of the product I purchased . This year I went and visited to buy some hanging baskets. From the moment I arrived, I was engaged by amazing staff who answered my questions (and had high safety protocols) and even helped me with my purchase to my car. I could not say enough how amazing my trip to Griffins Greenhouse was!

Shopped at Griffins Greenhouses last year (2020) on-line. They were great at getting everything I wanted together for curb-side pick-up. Griffins is the only place I will buy my summer plants from now. The quality is good. My plants grew so much bigger, with more flowers than any of the plants I've purchased through the pop-up garden centres (Loblaws, Supercentre, Cdn Tire, Home Depot). Picked up some today (May 2021). They have all their COVID protocols in place. Safe place to shop and once again, healthy looking plants.
