This is a pay-to-use park, $6 per vehicle. There is a drop box on site. Wildlife trail and lookout. No dogs allowed.

Mercedes FCalleja

Hard to see many animals (saw a turkey, a snake, several birds and squirrels) , although that might be different depending bon the time of the year. Nice trail, easy walk, most of it in shade of the trees. Perfect for families. Be sure to bring repellent, as there are a lot of mosquitoes.

Ryan Hodge

Nice and relatively short - has some great views and fantastic signage documenting the wildlife and habitat improvements nearby. Well worth a visit!

Sandra Kuchta

Great trail walk. Took about 1.5 hrs and lots to see. Variable (relatively easy) terrain, forest, meadow, rocks, marsh, and more! We saw lots of animals, snakes, frogs, butterflies and birds. Kids loved it (ages 3-7). Bring bug spray, LOTS of mosquitos.

Was going to go here for a walk with my pup and do some birding photography but I read online it's no dogs allowed and you have to pay a fee. So no thank you.

Easy trails, beautiful scenery, the perfect place to get a little exercise. Also note, no dogs as this is a wildlife reserve area. The evidence that dogs negatively impact wildlife is overwhelming. It is clear that people with dogs – on leash or off – are much more detrimental to wildlife than people without dogs. Dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) are considered to be a subspecies of wolves (Canis lupus), and wildlife perceive dogs as predators. Impacts include: Physical and temporal displacement – The presence of dogs causes wildlife to move away, temporarily or permanently reducing the amount of available habitat in which to feed, breed and rest. Animals become less active during the day to avoid dog interactions. Furthermore, the scent of dogs repels wildlife and the effects remain after the dogs are gone. Disturbance and stress response – Animals are alarmed and cease their routine activities. This increases the amount of energy they use, while simultaneously reducing their opportunities to feed. Repeated stress causes long-term impacts on wildlife including reduced reproduction and growth, suppressed immune system and increased vulnerability to disease and parasites. Indirect and direct mortality – Dogs transmit diseases (such as canine distemper and rabies) to and from wildlife. Loose dogs kill wildlife. Human disease and water quality impacts – Dog waste pollutes water and transmits harmful parasites and diseases to people.

Didn't go on the trails since there was only the possibility of paying by phone. Other payment methods would help.

Sasha Slaughter

Nice well maintained trails. Worth the day parking pass ($7), or the annual ($50) if you live nearby.. Spent a few hours here walking with the kids. The signs drawing attention to the various wildlife as you walk through were informative and well placed. -Also No Dogs allowed

Jessey Rice

Richard Rollinson

Great walk in the winter. About 45 minutes to an hour full loop.

Alex & Christina

Easy loop walk, appropriate for young children. Nice panels along the trail explaining the flora and fauna in the reserve, and the history of the area. Several picnic tables near the parking lot in a grassy area. Also one picnic table half way around the trail near the observation tower. Bring bug spray in late spring, early summer...huge mosquitoes!

Duncan Irving

Enjoyed a great walk, lots of nice shade gret lookout points, lots of nice picnic areas

David Currie

What a great place to visit! The trails were maintained perfectly and it was great to read the information boards on the trail. The best part was going to the lookout post and hearing the birds and frogs! I can't wait to go there again :-)!

Nice parkland with a short walk culminating with a watch-tower that provides a great view of the surrounding wetlands.

Ashley Falardeau

Well maintained trails. Perfect for those with kids or who aren't looking for a challenge. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed. Parking is paid through an app, and does not accept MC.

Devra Rayvals

This is an easy place to walk the trails as they are flat and not too long...a mixture of forest field and wetland

Terry Sunderland

Very disappointing to find out upon arrival that dogs are not allowed on the trail, not even on a leash. There was no mention of this on the website. We travelled an hour to have a good walk with the dog, but a large sign stating "no dogs allowed".

Bruce Gray

Lovely place for a walk. Trail is not too rugged, but it can be wet in the spring and autumn...best to come dressed for the weather

It gets really muddy after a rain so be prepared for that but otherwise a great small trail.

Joyce Buckley

This is a hidden gem! Take time to explore the wonderful looping trail. Please pay the $7.00 to park so that it remains funded and viable over time.

Wonderful place to venture

Bao Ken

Nice and well maintained. Lots of butterfles. $7parking seems a bit expensive. Surprised the trees are not too tall along the trail so not enough shade. We run into small snakes twice today. One snake is a green one less than a foot. The other one seems almost two feet and is black.

KJoy Paisley

Curtis Haig

Good trail, easy hike. No dogs allowed though which is really silly.

Inga Hübner

Very nice trail and extremely well-signposted. We had a great time there.

Danielle Kennedy
